Slayton signs with Colts as Pierce replacement; reunites with Jones.

Signed with the Indianapolis Colts on Monday evening as a replacement for injured Alec Pierce; reunites with quarterback Daniel Jones, with whom he had immediate chemistry when both were drafted by the Giants in 2019. Slayton led the Giants in receiving in four of his first five seasons (2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023) and brings an uncommon blend of size and speed to fill the Colts' need for a big, athletic deep threat.
