If they wanted to go a veteran route and get someone who wouldn't break the bank, Ray-Ray McCloud is available. Don't get too excited; McCloud was placed on IR with the Chicago Bears before the season began and was released with an injury settlement... McCloud available but injury-plagued; unlikely despite Shanahan familiarity

McCloud is available as a veteran free agent option with familiarity to Shanahan's offense; however, he was placed on IR by Chicago before the season and released with an injury settlement, making his health status uncertain. If healthy, he could fill Robinson's role and serve as backup punt returner, but the source deems this scenario unlikely and notes it would limit development time for Watkins.
