McLaurin has just four catches for 64 yards on 13 targets through two games. He leads the Commanders in routes run but ranks 73rd in yards per route run (0.93). His new target competition—Stefon Diggs and rookie Antonio Williams—rank 32nd (2.17) and 18th (2.56) in yards per route run, respectively, outperforming McLaurin significantly. Diggs has historically been the leading target everywhere he's played, and McLaurin hasn't earned greater than a 23% target share since 2021 despite minimal target competition. While he's shown good chemistry with Marcus Mariota in the past, he's never had to compete with two efficient target-earners like this before. Panic Meter: 3/5.
