Worthy benefited from the Chiefs' improved play-action scheme against the Colts. On one early play, the Colts' WILL linebacker bit on the play fake and got completely out of position, leaving Worthy wide open on a backside dig route. The Chiefs also used motion concepts with Worthy to create leverage advantages; on a critical third-down play in overtime, Worthy motioned across the formation on a quick boot to the flat for Walker, with the motion forcing the defense to react and vacate coverage.
