All seven receptions resulted in first downs or touchdowns; three receptions traveled over 20 yards in the air. On Sunday, four of five receptions came on third down, including two third-and-12 conversions. Wicks runs precise routes, makes difficult catches, and Hurts trusts him. Combined with DeVonta Smith (20 catches, 317 yards through two games), this duo has produced more yards in their first two games together than A.J. Brown and Smith did in any of their first two games together.
