Pittman's complementary role and route versatility provide Steelers a different passing-game element.

Pittman was acquired by Pittsburgh during the offseason with the expectation that he would provide a reliable complementary option alongside DK Metcalf. His ability to work underneath and on intermediate routes, while also making himself available when quarterback Aaron Rodgers is forced to improvise, gives the Steelers a different element in the passing game. He made an immediate impact in his Steelers debut against Atlanta, catching all three of his targets for 58 yards in the season-opening 20-13 victory.
