Montgomery starts for the Texans but is in a drive-rotation with Woody Marks, who will play many snaps in a row. The Texans view this tandem as capable in all situations rather than rotating by situation, meaning Montgomery is not guaranteed goal-line carries if Marks' drive ends near the end zone. Last week, Montgomery had one carry in the second half while in negative script. Beyond the role uncertainty, the Texans' ground game is broken; both RBs are bottom-three in yards per carry among RBs with 10+ carries per game (not their fault—the OL is untalented and the QB being a statue doesn't help). The Texans are one of five offenses under 33% RB success rate (20%). The Colts defense is equally broken, but Montgomery is a low-end, TD-or-bust RB2 with 59.5 projected total yards.
