RJ [Harvey] was out, and then J.K. [Dobbins] got nicked up and wasn't able to finish. I think all three of those players we're discussing can be bell cow, handle a majority of the carries.

Dobbins remains lead back despite injury; Payton backs his bell cow capability.

J.K. Dobbins remains the lead back on Denver's depth chart ahead of Jonah Coleman, though he was nicked up and unable to finish the Jacksonville game. Sean Payton confirmed Dobbins is one of three backs capable of functioning as a 'bell cow' type back, but barring injury, he and RJ Harvey should retain their depth chart positioning over Coleman in 2026.
