Yahoo Fantasy Football on Brenton Strange

Limited targets and crowded receiver room make Strange too touchdown-dependent to trust.

Strange lacks sufficient confidence for lineups in leagues up to 16 teams. While he connected with Trevor Lawrence on 2 of 3 targets for 23 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, he has generated minimal volume since. New England has allowed just 52 yards and zero scores to opposing tight ends through two weeks. Lawrence has multiple mouths to feed with wide receivers Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and Brian Thomas Jr., pushing Strange further down the pecking order. He had just 2 targets for 17 yards in Week 2 and is too touchdown-dependent for reliable fantasy production.
