From the article

Wide receivers Greg Dortch, Stephen Gosnell, Ja'Mori Maclin, and Trent Sherfield Sr. are all on the team's practice squad. Dortch has one more call-up in the regular season before he'd need to be signed to the 53-man roster. Of important note is that Dortch cannot be released and later signed back to the practice squad with a renewed set of call-ups in the current regular season.

NeutralRole

Dortch has one final practice-squad call-up available before permanent roster commitment.

Dortch is on the Bills practice squad and could be called up to fill a wide receiver void if Coleman and Moore are sidelined. He has one more call-up remaining in the regular season before requiring a 53-man roster signing; importantly, he cannot be released and re-signed to the practice squad with renewed call-ups in the current regular season—call-ups reset only in the playoffs.
