Winston takes over as Giants starter with Dart out for season; playbook shift underway.

Winston is now the Giants' starting quarterback after Jaxson Dart was sidelined for the season with a knee injury requiring surgery. Matt Nagy is revising the playbook to accommodate Winston's strengths, moving away from Dart's RPOs and play-extending scrambling toward Winston's strong arm and deeper throws. Nagy emphasized that Winston has been present for all OTAs and training camp, understands the play-calling rationale, and knows where the offense's eyes go on each play.
