Yahoo Sports NFL on Jameis Winston

Winston's Rams relief appearance (37.7 rating) marred by pressure and timing issues; full prep expected to help.

Winston's performance off the bench against the Rams was poor, posting a 37.7 QB rating while skipping and sailing passes. He was pressured 17 times on 29 dropbacks, and Nagy noted that Winston was thrown into the game with limited practice reps (only seven plays in) while running plays the team hadn't executed timing-wise all week, which seemed to confuse other skill players. However, Nagy expects improvement with a full week of preparation allowing Winston to get throws on time.
