Ron Stewart on Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes is a clear pick; Chiefs stack preferred over Bengals, but avoid doubling up due to roster concentration.

Ron Stewart selected Patrick Mahomes as a clear choice at his draft position (3783-3822), calling it 'Mahomes without a doubt.' Stewart repeatedly emphasized conviction in stacking Kansas City players, stating 'I promise you'll never go broke spamming Chiefs, man,' and would swap Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Joe Burrow for Kenneth Walker, Rashee Rice, and Mahomes. However, Stewart later declined to double-tap Mahomes at quarterback due to heavy Chiefs exposure elsewhere on the roster (Kenneth Walker, Rashee Rice), indicating caution about concentration risk despite strong preference for the Chiefs stack.
