Drake Maye and the Patriots take on the Jaguars and are still going to be without their top wide receiver in A.J. Brown. It's been a bad first two weeks for Maye; I mean, the Patriots haven't even scored more than 20 points in either game. According to The Athletic, last season Maye completed 57.7% of his passes under pressure, but now Maye is completing 44.4% and 33.3% of his passes under pressure. Maye has been downgraded in my rankings, but he's still my QB12.

Drake Maye has been downgraded in Kendall Valenzuela's rankings to QB12 after a brutal first two weeks; the Patriots haven't scored more than 20 points in either game. Under pressure, Maye's completion percentage has collapsed from 57.7% last season to 44.4% and 33.3% this season. Despite the poor performance, Valenzuela advises starting him this week against Jacksonville unless pivoting to Tyler Shough or Bryce Young, as the downgrade is real but benching him is still difficult.
