BTJ's Week 2 drops threaten his usage and trade value if routine plays don't improve.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. must stack good performances immediately; he drew heavy scrutiny last season for persistent drops, and that problem reared its ugly head again in Week 2 when he dropped routine balls and missed chances to make game-changing plays. If he can't make routine plays look routine and occasionally bring in tough contested catches, his usage in the offense could plummet and he could become a trade candidate before the deadline, especially with a certain former Heisman winner (Shedeur Sanders) who would probably love to eat into his targets.
