Yahoo Sports NFL on Kyler Murray
From the article
What we still don't know is how effective this offense can truly be with Kyler Murray behind center... I think Kevin O'Connell is the coach to bring the best out of him, as growth is a major aspect of his coaching philosophy. We could see a rebirth for Kyler Murray, but it won't happen in one or a few games.
STACKED’s take
Murray's prove-it year shows reinvention potential under O'Connell's growth-focused coaching.
Kyler Murray is entering a prove-it year on a vet minimum salary with the Vikings after his tenure in Arizona ended on a mixed note. Kyler Murray interprets Murray's situation through rune reading as one of reinvention and rebirth, with the challenge being to navigate obstacles with a growth mindset under coach Kevin O'Connell, whose philosophy emphasizes growth. Kyler Murray foresees a destruction of the current negative narrative surrounding Murray (a player who had a great start but fizzled out in Arizona) and believes Murray's willingness to play for minimal money demonstrates his commitment to prove himself. Kyler Murray is leaving the reading feeling positively about Murray's season, contingent on the defense maintaining its level and Murray protecting the football.
