Mahomes looked much more settled in Week 2 than he did in Week 1. He appeared to trust both his knee and the pass protection more... His confidence in the knee is clearly growing. I think we will continue to see more of the old Mahomes as the season progresses.

Mahomes is trending toward prime form as he gains confidence in his repaired ACL. In Week 2, he appeared much more settled than Week 1, trusting both his knee and pass protection. While not completely back yet, his confidence in the knee is clearly growing and he is expected to improve every week as the knee strengthens. Some plays remain where old Mahomes might have extended action, but he is currently protecting himself and avoiding unnecessary hits; continued progression is anticipated as the season advances.
