Mike Evans suffered a rib strain during the 49ers' Week 3 game against Arizona and was ruled out for the remainder of the game in the third quarter. Ian Rapoport reported Evans has a rib strain and will receive a full evaluation on Monday. The injury occurred after Evans executed an 80-yard hook-and-ladder touchdown with Deebo Samuel; he was sandwiched by two Cardinals defenders on the previous play but stayed in the game before going down on his next route. Evans required assistance getting off the field and was carted to the locker room, appearing to be in significant pain.
