Bowers' Week 1 rug pull was amongst the most painful in recent memory. Somewhat shockingly, the damage was contained. The optimistic return timeline held. And the return actually went according to plan. A man amongst boys vs. the Saints, Bowers was also a wide receiver amongst tight ends.

Bowers delivers monster statlines in return; Kubiak feeding him targets.

Bowers' Week 1 rug pull was contained, and his return in Week 3 went according to plan. Against the Saints, Bowers was dominant, described as 'a man amongst boys' and 'a wide receiver amongst tight ends.' New coach Klint Kubiak is not pretending Bowers is something he's not and is not griping about his run blocking; instead, he is simply feeding him targets and Bowers is obliging with monster statlines. The source suggests Bowers is living up to his pre-draft expectations.
