32BeatWriters on Baker Mayfield

Mayfield will have an MRI today. If there is no ligament damage, he could return in a few weeks. But he’s going to likely miss time. Poor pass protection and holding onto the football too long caught up to him. It was a desperation throw on the final down. But as Tom Brady would say, he’d rather lose several games than become injured and not be there each week for his team. Tough line to walk.
