the Rams went away from lining up Stafford under center, not sure if this was just part of Bronco game plan or if they want to move that way. Getting away from that and the play action game allows opposing defenses to stay in umbrella zone and crash the run game.

Stafford's under-center usage declining; impacts play-action effectiveness

The Rams have moved away from lining up Stafford under center, a shift that may be part of the Broncos game plan or a broader offensive direction change. Moving away from under-center looks and play-action reduces Stafford's ability to attack defenses vertically, as opposing defenses can stay in umbrella coverage and crash the run game more effectively.
