STACKED’s take
Keenum's 247-yard, 3-TD masterclass at 38 joins elite all-time QB company.
38-year-old Keenum completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in a 27-7 win over Philadelphia, converting a QB sneak for an additional score. The source notes this was a high-level and steady showing from a quarterback whose last start was in 2023, and he was not sacked. Keenum's performance qualifies him among elite all-time company: he is only the second QB in NFL history (alongside Ryan Fitzpatrick) to win a game as starting QB for 7 different teams (Bears, Browns, Commanders, Broncos, Vikings, Rams, Texans). At 38+ years old with 240+ pass yards, 2+ pass TDs, and 1+ rush TD in a single game, Keenum joins Tom Brady, Drew Brees, John Elway, Doug Flutie, and Fran Tarkenton in an exclusive historical cohort.
