Yahoo Sports NFL on Case Keenum

Keenum's 247-yard, 3-TD performance likely secures starting role vs. Jets next week.

Keenum completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards, two passing touchdowns and a QB sneak score with no interceptions and no sacks in his first start since 2023, stepping in for injured Caleb Williams and Tyler Bagent. The source notes he "had confidence from his first snap and never lost it" and will "likely take the starting spot again next week when Chicago hosts the 1-2 New York Jets," with another sturdy performance needed as Williams remains out and Bagent is unproven.
