Yahoo Sports NFL on Case Keenum

Keenum's 247-yard, 3-TD performance in first start since 2023 likely secures next week's start.

Keenum completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards, two passing touchdowns and a QB sneak score with no interceptions and no sacks in his first start since 2023, stepping in for injured Caleb Williams and Tyler Bagent. The source notes he "developed a strong connection with tight end Colston Loveland early before getting in rhythm with wideouts Kalif Raymond and Luther Burden III in the second half." Keenum will likely take the starting spot again the following week when Chicago hosts the 1-2 New York Jets.
