Allen is a borderline RB2 with TD upside if Hall misses time with quad injury.
Allen is the clear handcuff to Breece Hall, who suffered a quad injury in Week 3 that could cost him time. Allen finished Week 3 with four carries for 14 yards and three catches; over the first two weeks, he handled 15 carries for 47 yards and a short-yardage TD. The fourth-round pick out of Wisconsin is a 6-foot-1, 235-pound bruiser who caught 19 passes on 27 targets as an NFL rookie. Dwain McFarland notes Allen's usage in the two-minute drill last week is bullish. The Jets offense is much improved with Geno Smith at the helm, and Allen would be a borderline RB2 with touchdown upside should Hall need a couple of weeks off.
