Bowers' 10 catches and 116 yards in debut position him as TE1 contender.

Bowers' 2026 debut was exceptional; the All-Pro tight end caught 10 of 13 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown while recording 106 air yards (14th in NFL). Klint Kubiak deployed him across multiple formations: 12 routes wide, 16 from the slot, one from the backfield, and seven in tight. He dominated the Saints' defense on go, out, and in-breaking routes. Bowers is the only candidate to dethrone Trey McBride as fantasy's TE1.
