Ekeler returns from torn Achilles to Commanders' deep RB room; 2024 production was solid.

Ekeler is returning from a torn Achilles suffered in Week 2 against the Packers, where he amassed just 52 yards of scrimmage on 19 total touches; he returns to a Commanders organization stockpiling depth at running back alongside Bill Croskey-Merritt and Kaytron Allen. In his first season with the team in 2024, Ekeler ran for 367 yards and four touchdowns on 77 carries and added 35 catches for 366 yards. Whether Ekeler takes Rachaad White's spot on the 53-man roster remains to be seen.
