Signing announced; comments note he's not traditional WR, has most drops on team, works best as gadget player when schemed open

STACKED’s take

Negative signalNews

49ers sign Pettis as depth WR amid injuries; community treats signing as meme/nostalgia play with minimal fantasy upside. Pettis described as gadget player with most drops on team; lacks crisp route-running and contested-catch consistency; schemed-open value only. No clear path to meaningful targets in 49ers offense.
