Yahoo Sports NFL on Treylon Burks

Burks' TD catch shows designed role in Commanders' game plan.

Burks caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Marcus Mariota with 6:47 left in the first half against Seattle. Mariota noted the play was part of the game plan: 'That was something through the week that we thought we would maybe get a chance at, and Trey did a good job. It's not an easy route. He's got to cross the face with the safety.' The source characterizes this as an 'unbelievable play' by Burks.
