Probably that means Wilson won't see a glut of air yards in any sort of game script, the way he did in 2025. He'll be a little more dependent on game script.

Wilson's air yards upside is limited by Arizona's balanced offense approach.

Michael Wilson posted 154 air yards (51 percent air yards share) in Week 3 against the Niners when Arizona finally posted a respectable air yards total (306, seventh on the week). However, Arizona is 12th in pass rate over expected this season, a far cry from their league-leading PROE a year ago, suggesting the Cardinals are interested in a balanced offense. This means Wilson won't see a glut of air yards in any sort of game script the way he did in 2025 and will be more dependent on game script. Week 4 against the listless Giants doesn't profile as an explosive, air yards-laden spot for Jacoby Brissett's primary downfield guy, though Wilson should still be started in most fantasy formats.
