Yahoo Sports NFL on Derrick Henry
From the article
"It's going to be a crazy moment to be playing against the team that I came in the league playing for," Henry said. "But I ain't trying to make too much of it, though. . . . It's still like family there. So it's always love, but it ain't going to be much love on Sunday."
STACKED’s take
Henry faces Titans for first time with 3,817 yards and 40 TDs in Ravens tenure.
Henry faces the Titans for the first time in his career this weekend, a matchup with added emotional weight as he returns to the team that drafted him in 2016 and where he won the 2020 offensive player of the year award over eight seasons. Henry acknowledged the moment will be "a crazy moment" but emphasized he won't overstate it, noting "It's still like family there. So it's always love, but it ain't going to be much love on Sunday." His departure from Tennessee was "bittersweet" because the Titans didn't make an effort to retain him—a decision they may regret given his production for Baltimore: 3,817 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns in his first two seasons with the Ravens.
