Tom Brady endorses Brock Purdy as elite QB in tier-one discussions after 3-0 start
Tom Brady, speaking for Fox Sports, declared Brock Purdy should be considered in tier-one QB discussions following his red-hot 3-0 start in 2026, stating "Brock Purdy is playing as well as anybody" and "should be considered in the tier-one QB discussions; at least, he is in my eyes." Brady further endorsed Purdy as elite, praising his accuracy, lack of negative plays, and game management: "It sure looks like it. [He's] playing within the system, throwing the ball accurately, no negative plays, getting his team in and out of the right plays. I love the way that he's managing every single game." Brady's assessment carries weight as the greatest QB to play the game, though it may face scrutiny depending on Purdy's performance against Denver's vaunted defense and Seattle's fearsome defensive front in the coming weeks.
