Yahoo Sports NFL on Terrance Ferguson

Ferguson placed on IR with ankle injury; was third on team in targets.

Rams placed tight end Terrance Ferguson on injured reserve Friday due to an ankle injury suffered in Week 3's loss to Denver. Ferguson was third on the team with 12 targets through three weeks, catching seven passes for 63 yards and a touchdown. The 2025 second-round pick had 11 catches for 231 yards as a rookie but now faces a prolonged absence that delays the realization of his top-50 draft pedigree.
