Yahoo Sports NFL on Daniel Jones

Jones' pocket drift creates confusion for his O-line and leads to sacks.

Jones has been drifting backwards in the pocket and getting himself into trouble before he even throws the ball. This mechanical issue forces his tackles to lose track of his launch point, leading them to ride defensive ends directly to the QB instead of around the hump. The source notes that even elite arm strength like Patrick Mahomes' can't consistently overcome this problem.
