FantasyPros Articles on Chase Brown
From the article
Chase Brown might be the best buy candidate at the running back position because he hasn't been scoring touchdowns. Through three weeks, Brown has finished top-10 in snap share, backfield opportunity share, routes run, route participation, and designed RB targets. I will be targeting Brown heavily this week in all my leagues.
STACKED’s take
Brown's elite usage metrics and touchdown drought make him a heavy buy target across all leagues.
Brown is the best buy candidate at running back because his usage metrics far exceed his fantasy production. Over the last three weeks, he's averaged just 10.4 points per game and hasn't scored a touchdown since Sept. 13, but he's finished top-10 in snap share, backfield opportunity share, routes run, route participation, and designed RB targets. In Week 4 against Jacksonville, Brown had 11 receptions and 20 opportunities for only 81 all-purpose yards. The source notes that if Tee Higgins or Ja'Marr Chase miss time due to injuries, Brown could see even more involvement in the passing game. His real value is as a workhorse in the Joe Burrow-led offense, and the lack of touchdowns will not last.
