Bhayshul Tuten is in a split backfield, but just like Kyren Williams and D'Andre Swift, it usually doesn't matter. Through the first three weeks, Tuten had 43 carries (RB17), 4.74 yards per carry (RB14), 2.56 rushing yards after contact per attempt (RB14), and ranked RB8 in designed targets.

Positive signalValue

Tuten's lead-back role and efficient metrics offer value despite split backfield and Week 4 bad luck.

Tuten is a reasonable value target for running back-needy teams despite operating in a split backfield. Through the first three weeks, he had 43 carries (RB17), 4.74 yards per carry (RB14), 2.56 rushing yards after contact per attempt (RB14), and ranked RB8 in designed targets. In Week 4 against Cincinnati, he finished with 19 opportunities and 91 all-purpose yards for 10.1 points, but the stat sheet didn't reflect how close he was to a much bigger day: a 44-yard touchdown run was called back due to a holding penalty, and he left the game to rest before Chris Rodriguez scored on the next play. The Jacksonville Jaguars have been one of the most productive offenses since Week 10 of 2025, and Tuten comes with a reasonable price tag and upside if his role grows.
