Downs disappears with three catches, 16 yards in ideal matchup.

Josh Downs had an ideal Week 4 setup in London against Washington with Alec Pierce and Keenan Allen sidelined, facing a soft Commanders defense that had been shredded by wide receivers, yet responded with only three catches for 16 yards on four targets—fewer than Laquon Treadwell, Ashton Dulin, and tight end Tyler Warren. While quarterback Daniel Jones's poor performance (55.9% completion rate, 4.2 yards per attempt, no TD, one INT) bears some blame, Jones's season averages of 188.5 passing yards per game and three total touchdown passes make it difficult to support multiple pass-catchers. Downs should remain benched until showing meaningful, consistent production.
