Yahoo Sports NFL on Rashid Shaheed

Shaheed's tailback role in Week 4 was temporary fill-in; Seahawks added RB depth.

Shaheed added tailback duties in Week 4 against the Chargers with two carries for 33 yards including a 28-yard touchdown, filling in due to rookie RB Jadarian Price on the reserve/injured list and RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) recovering from a torn ACL. Coach Mike Macdonald noted the role gave the team "some speed," but this opportunity appears temporary as the Seahawks signed veteran Joe Mixon and Robert Henry Jr. to the practice squad, making Shaheed best deployed only in deepest fantasy leagues and specialty leagues rewarding return yardage.
