A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection85:13

Joe Pisapia projects the next two years of A.J. Brown with Drake May to be very good, making him a valuable trade target for teams looking to win now; he would trade Malik Nabors for A.J. Brown's next two years paired with another established veteran with a shorter window.

Insight page

Aaron Jones

NegativeRole21:06

Aaron Jones is aging and unlikely to carry a heavy workload in Minnesota's run game, which is described as a quagmire; this weakness in the backfield could force the Vikings to throw more, benefiting pass catchers.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

NegativeValue85:44

Antonio Williams was mentioned as part of a hypothetical trade package (alongside Deshaun Stribbling) in a discussion about what Joe Pisapia would accept for Malik Nabors, though Pisapia did not explicitly endorse or reject this specific trade.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

NegativeValue27:03

Baker Mayfield is mentioned as part of the quarterback value discussion, ranked ahead of Bo Nix on CBS ADP (Nix is QB 21), alongside Kyler Murray and Jordan Love. The comparison suggests Mayfield is being drafted earlier than Nix despite similar value considerations.

Insight page

Bo Nix

PositiveValue26:07

Joe Pisapia views Bo Nix as tremendous value in late-round quarterback strategy and super flex leagues. Nix is QB 21 on CBS ADP, which Pisapia considers not crazy given the depth at the position. Pisapia emphasizes that Nix's mobility, Sean Payton's bullish recovery outlook, and the Broncos' elite defense (178 sacks in last three years, 30 more than second-place Ravens) creating short-field opportunities and turnovers support more scoring upside than his draft position reflects. Pisapia rejects the "copy and paste job" narrative, arguing the addition of a new weapon and short fields provide room for more production.

Insight page
NegativeInjury26:29

Sean Payton is very bullish about Bo Nix's recovery from injury, with week one not expected to be a problem. Pisapia notes some concern about the injury exists but emphasizes Payton's confidence in Nix's readiness.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup28:08

Bo Nix faces a challenging early schedule in his first six games: at Chiefs (home), vs. Jaguars, at Rams, at 49ers, at Chargers, and vs. Seahawks. These are tough defensive matchups that could result in low-scoring games, though the Jaguars' defense was solid last year and the Chiefs lost starting cornerbacks but added a top-10 drafted cornerback.

Insight page
PositiveProjection29:16

Joe Pisapia prefers Bo Nix over Jared Goff as a backup quarterback option because Nix offers higher upside if he hits with Jalen Hurts, whereas Goff is a safe 20-23 point per game floor; Pisapia frames this as a choice between ceiling (Nix) and floor (Goff) depending on draft strategy.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper40:29

Joe Pisapia identifies Bo Nix as a sleeper quarterback, noting he is QB 15 on Fantasy Pros going 111th in ADP. Pisapia highlights that Bo Nix's 2025 stats and 2026 projections are nearly identical at around 300 fantasy points despite being in his third year and adding Jalen Waddle to the offense. Pisapia emphasizes that Nix made halftime adjustments and won games last season, and the addition of Waddle—a serious draft capital investment—should matter to his projection. As the 15th QB off the board, Nix fits a late-round QB strategy with upside.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

NegativeRole7:36

Braylon Allen is the Jets' passing-downs running back. If Breece Hall were to miss time, Allen and Isaiah Davis could split carries close to 50-50, though Frank Reich's system typically designates one RB for running downs and another for passing downs.

Insight page

Brandon Aiyuk

PositiveProjection44:02

Brandon Aiyuk finished 2023 as wide receiver 16 per game in the San Francisco 49ers offense, which threw only 29 passes per game; the 49ers' exceptional efficiency at converting targets to fantasy points supported Aiyuk's production despite the team's low pass volume.

Insight page
PositiveRole70:30

Aiyuk is fighting for the third receiver spot in San Francisco's offense behind Mike Evans and George Kittle; with Christian McCaffrey also in the mix and Purdy expected to lean heavily on Evans and Kittle, Aiyuk's target share and role are constrained despite his talent.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeRole7:36

Breece Hall is the Jets' lead running back, with Isaiah Davis competing for the backup role. The host suggests that if Hall were to miss a game, Davis and Braylon Allen could split carries close to 50-50, though Frank Reich's system typically designates one RB for running downs and another for passing downs.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection44:02

Brock Purdy finished 2023 as QB six per game in the San Francisco 49ers offense, which threw only 29 passes per game but has become more pass-heavy under Purdy's tenure; the 49ers' exceptional efficiency at converting targets to fantasy points supports Purdy's elite production despite low pass volume.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveBreakout62:45

Joe Pisapia cites Chris Olave as an example of a player whose elite talent justifies continued investment and chasing in drafts, though he notes that neither Olave nor Wilson are at the level of Malik Neighbors in terms of athletic profile.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

PositiveRole70:23

Kirk is a veteran depth addition to the Eagles who will impact target distribution; the speaker dislikes bringing in boring veterans for depth when seeking breakout fantasy candidates, as coaches often lean on veterans early in the season before giving younger players opportunities, which constrains Kirk's role but more importantly limits upside for other Eagles receivers.

Insight page
NegativeValue85:57

Christian Kirk was mentioned as a potential veteran receiver component in a hypothetical trade discussion involving Malik Nabors, though the exact trade details were unclear in the conversation.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection44:02

Christian McCaffrey finished 2023 as RB one per game in the San Francisco 49ers offense, which threw only 29 passes per game; the 49ers' exceptional efficiency at converting targets to fantasy points supports McCaffrey's elite production despite the team's low pass volume.

Insight page
NegativeRole70:42

McCaffrey is part of the 49ers' receiving mix alongside Mike Evans, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk; his presence in the offense further constrains target distribution for other receivers.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeRole47:44

Christian Watson is noted as the primary target competition for Tucker Kraft in Green Bay's passing attack. While Watson is described as 'very spectacular in his playmaking ability,' he has durability concerns and is 'less spectacular in his ability to stay on the field,' which reduces his threat to Kraft's target share.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeProjection10:10

DJ Moore is noted as being 29 years old and thus not yet eligible for the 30+ year-old WR top-12 finisher discussion, though he is close to turning 30 this season.

Insight page
NegativeProjection61:45

Joe Pisapia argues that DJ Moore is moving to a situation where he could become the next version of what Stefon Diggs was with Josh Allen, implying elite target volume and efficiency upside in the Chicago Bears offense. Pisapia explicitly notes there is no health risk with Moore, distinguishing him from other high-upside receivers.

Insight page
NegativeValue84:03

In a value comparison, Malik Nabors is preferred over DJ Moore for 2026, suggesting Moore is viewed as less attractive relative to Nabors' dynasty upside despite Nabors' current injury concerns.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue75:00

Joe Pisapia indicates he has D'Andre Swift ranked higher than the previous discussion suggested, implying Swift has more value than some may perceive in the running back versus wide receiver comparisons.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveValue75:00

In a former Lion versus current Lion comparison, Joe Pisapia selects David Montgomery (former Lion, now with Chicago) over Jameson Williams (current Lion), indicating preference for Montgomery's value in the running back versus wide receiver matchup.

Insight page

De'Zhaun Stribling

NegativeValue85:44

Deshaun Stribbling was mentioned as part of a hypothetical trade package (alongside Antonio Williams) in a discussion about what Joe Pisapia would accept for Malik Nabors, though Pisapia did not explicitly endorse or reject this specific trade.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeProjection44:02

Deebo Samuel finished 2023 as wide receiver 14 per game in the San Francisco 49ers offense, but if you remove his rushing statistics, he would have been approximately wide receiver 36 per game; this highlights his heavy reliance on rushing volume for fantasy production despite the team throwing only 29 passes per game.

Insight page

Demond Claiborne

NegativeRole21:45

DeMond Claiborne is described as fun but unlikely to have a big role in Minnesota's offense.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeRole70:15

Watson was drafted by the 49ers and initially received criticism for being drafted too soon; the speaker questions how much of a fantasy factor Watson will be in the 49ers offense.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection72:36

Joe Pisapia expresses concern about Drake London's efficiency if Tua Tagovailoa is the quarterback, suggesting that London's production could be limited by the passing game situation in Miami. Despite selecting Drake London in full PPR over Saquon Barkley, Pisapia still prefers Barkley in half PPR, indicating reservations about London's overall value.

Insight page

Elijah Moore

NegativeRole67:39

Moore is a competing receiver in the Eagles offense alongside Jalin Hyatt; the concern is whether Moore and other veterans will impact Hyatt's early-season opportunity, though Hyatt is viewed as more talented than Moore at this point in his career.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveBreakout62:45

Joe Pisapia explains that Garrett Wilson has been chased for the last couple of years because of his elite talent and demonstrated capability, similar to the reasoning behind chasing Chris Olave. The implication is that Wilson's talent justifies continued investment despite any current ADP or production concerns.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveValue33:58

Joe Pisapia suggests waiting on a healthy George Kittle return as a discount opportunity with strong return on investment, positioning him as a preferable alternative to drafting Harold Fannin early. The strategy involves waiting longer and using interim tight ends like Goddard or Isaiah Likely early on.

Insight page
PositiveProjection44:02

George Kittle finished 2023 as tight end six or seven per game, averaging 12.7 fantasy points per game in the San Francisco 49ers offense; despite the team throwing only 29 passes per game, the 49ers' exceptional efficiency at converting targets to fantasy points supported Kittle's elite production.

Insight page
PositiveProjection68:51

Kittle appears likely to practice and play for the 49ers; Purdy is expected to lean on Kittle as a primary target option in the offense, positioning him as a key receiving weapon.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

NegativeBust47:00

Joe Pisapia flags Fannin as a bust not due to lack of talent, but because of uncertainty in the Browns' 2026 setup: a muddy Watson-Shador Sanders quarterback situation with no clarity even into August, a new coach and offensive coordinator, and a crowded wide receiver room from recent drafting. Pisapia prefers Tucker Kraft (who was the focal point of Green Bay's passing attack with minimal target competition beyond Christian Watson), Tyler Warren, Sam Laporta, or waiting on a healthy George Kittle with a discount return on investment. The core concern is that Fannin's current draft capital and projections don't reflect the organizational chaos and role uncertainty, making him a risky pick despite his talent.

Insight page
PositiveValue67:12

Joe Pisapia identifies Harold Fanning as a tight end with significant value, noting that Monken's track record with tight ends and the lack of established tight end options in Cleveland make Fanning a worthwhile target around tight end 5 off the board. Deshaun Watson's historical success with tight ends further supports the case, as the two rookie tight ends in Cleveland will be much better than the poor options Watson had last year.

Insight page

Isaiah Davis

PositiveRole7:03

Zach Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports that Isaiah Davis is the early favorite to be the Jets' backup running back. Davis had two games last year with 7-9 carries, averaging 9.3 yards per carry with the Bengals (including a 50-yard run) and 6.4 yards per carry with the Jaguars (including a 24-yard TD run). The host notes Davis has been effective when given opportunities and could be a real handcuff to Breece Hall, particularly on passing downs, though Frank Reich's system typically uses one RB for running downs and another for passing downs.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveValue48:06

Joe Pisapia suggests Isaiah Likely as a viable early-season tight end option to pair with a wait-and-see strategy on George Kittle, positioning him as a better value play than drafting Harold Fannin early.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeRole28:48

JK Dobbins' health is a key question mark for the Broncos' run game committee. Pisapia identifies Dobbins' durability as one of several uncertainties affecting the backfield's overall volume and role distribution.

Insight page

Jalin Hyatt

NegativeProjection67:32

Hyatt is walking into a wide-open target situation with approximately 120 targets available after Devante Smith; the concern is whether competing receivers like Marquise Brown, Dontavian Wicks, and Elijah Moore will limit his early-season opportunity, but the speaker expects Hyatt to emerge as a factor for Jalen Hurts sooner rather than later if he proves more talented than those veterans.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeDepth Chart75:00

Joe Pisapia notes that a Jane Slater report regarding Jameson Williams and leverage situations has been refuted by the person who was supposedly reporting it. Pisapia clarifies that the coaching staff did not love Witty Marks in leverage situations last year and doubts that will change after acquiring Montgomery, suggesting Williams may see reduced role in certain situations.

Insight page

Jared Goff

NegativeProjection29:16

Jared Goff is characterized as a safe, floor-based quarterback option projecting 20-23 points per game; Joe Pisapia would target Goff over Bo Nix if seeking consistency rather than upside, though Goff is noted as undervalued in draft discussions.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveBreakout73:30

In a running back versus wide receiver comparison, Joe Pisapia frames Jeremiah Love as an upside play, positioning him against T. Higgins in an upside versus safety matchup. The framing suggests Love has significant breakout potential as an Arizona rookie running back.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeRole26:23

Jonah Coleman is an interesting option later in the season for the Broncos, though it remains to be seen if he will emerge. Pisapia identifies Coleman as one of several backfield options whose ability to fill a role is uncertain.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveValue12:42

Joe Pisapia views Addison as undervalued at consensus WR45 ADP despite a track record of WR20-21 finishes in 2023-2024 (19 TDs across both seasons, 875+ yards each year). Last year's decline to WR6-10 was inflated by missed time; had he played two additional games in 2024, he would have approached 1,000 yards. Pisapia argues Addison's career is on the line in a contract year with Kyler Murray and Kevin O'Connell, and when great athletes face reputational pressure, they tend to elevate. He's buying Addison as a cheap late-round investment at a discount to his historical ceiling.

Insight page
NegativeRole18:18

Jamie Eisenberg notes that Addison played in four of the five games where Justin Jefferson played with Carson Wentz last year, and those were Addison's best games of the season. However, Eisenberg expresses concern about Jawan Jennings' arrival (nine TDs in his previous year) and Kyler Murray's historical inability to consistently support multiple fantasy-relevant targets. The question is whether the Vikings offense becomes a clear one-two dynamic (Jefferson and Addison) or reverts to a clear-one-and-mess-underneath structure, which has been the pattern since Addison arrived.

Insight page
PositiveProjection19:54

Addison averaged 11.6 PPR points per game minimum with Carson Wentz last year and drew 7.5 targets in those games (above his usual 6.0 average), supporting a floor-focused case for him as a bench contingency play with upside if Jetta gets injured; Joe Pisapia prefers shooting for upside elsewhere but acknowledges the talent and the Minnesota run game's weakness (Aaron Jones aging, Jordan Mason unproven, DeMond Claiborne limited) could force more passing volume.

Insight page
NegativeRole19:57

Kyler Murray has a poor track record of helping multiple wide receivers achieve strong fantasy production, and his weaknesses as a thrower could sink upside for everyone in Minnesota's offense; Joe Pisapia worries about the quarterback situation limiting Addison's ceiling despite his talent.

Insight page
PositiveProjection20:00

Dave Richard notes that in the four games Addison played with Carson Wentz, he averaged 11.6 PPR points per game and 7.5 targets per game—well above his season average of around six targets. Richard views this as a floor-level contingency upside if something happens to Justin Jefferson, and would like to have Addison on his bench as a high-upside reserve.

Insight page
PositiveProjection22:00

Kevin O'Connell's offensive coaching acumen could unlock Kyler Murray's raw talent in ways Arizona's organization never did; Joe Pisapia notes Murray has never worked with an offensive coach of O'Connell's caliber and that elite coaching can dramatically improve young quarterback decision-making and field progression, potentially elevating Addison's upside.

Insight page
NegativeValue38:21

Joe Pisapia argues Addison deserves to go higher than his current ADP around 100th overall. In four games with Carson Wentz, Addison averaged 11.6 fantasy points and commanded a 20.5% target share; if that target share holds with Kyler Murray, Pisapia would confidently take him around 100th overall. Addison is cheap enough that being wrong on him won't kill your draft, making him a low-risk sleeper with upside.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeValue27:03

Jordan Love is mentioned as part of the quarterback value discussion, ranked ahead of Bo Nix on CBS ADP (Nix is QB 21), alongside Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray. The comparison suggests Love is being drafted earlier than Nix despite similar value considerations.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeRole21:18

Jordan Mason will get a good opportunity in Minnesota's run game, but Joe Pisapia is not buying him as a strong fantasy option despite the opportunity.

Insight page

Joshua Kelley

NegativeBust43:29

Joe Pisapia ranks Kelley third among his bust picks, citing concern that he's a boring veteran brought in for depth rather than a true breakout candidate; this dynamic is especially problematic early in the season when teams may lean on veterans before committing to younger options.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeRole21:00

Joe Pisapia worries about Kyler Murray's limitations as a thrower potentially sinking upside for Jefferson as well, given Murray's weak track record supporting multiple receivers in fantasy production.

Insight page

Kenny McIntosh

NegativeInjury6:26

Kenny McIntosh is on the PUP list to start training camp for Seattle. The host mentioned discussing this the previous day.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection22:00

Kyler Murray has never worked with an offensive coach of Kevin O'Connell's caliber; O'Connell's expertise in developing young quarterbacks and improving their field vision and progressions could significantly elevate Murray's play in Minnesota, similar to how elite coaching unlocks raw talent in college athletes transitioning to the NFL.

Insight page
NegativeValue27:03

Kyler Murray is mentioned as part of the quarterback value discussion, ranked ahead of Bo Nix on CBS ADP (Nix is QB 21), alongside Baker Mayfield and Jordan Love. The comparison suggests Murray is being drafted earlier than Nix despite similar value considerations.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeBust49:08

Joe Pisapia flags Malik Nabers as a bust due to overvaluation in draft capital as a top-10 wide receiver. Pisapia argues that Nabers' current draft positioning is 'absurd' given his injury recovery timeline uncertainty (potentially missing 6-10 weeks) and the unknown state of the Giants offense by the time he returns. Pisapia expects sharper drafts to correct this overvaluation as the recovery timeline becomes clearer and the Giants' identity solidifies.

Insight page
NegativeValue83:00

Joe Pisapia views Malik Nabors as an intriguing dynasty buy right now due to a current market downturn; he notes the recovery timeline from injury is uncertain (potentially 6-10 weeks), which is depressing his redraft value in 2026, but Pisapia suggests waiting until in-season frustration drives the discount even deeper. He would not sell Nabors cheaply, preferring to trade him only for established veterans with shorter windows like the next two years of A.J. Brown paired with Drake May upside.

Insight page

Marquise Brown

NegativeRole67:39

Brown is one of several competing receivers in the Eagles offense alongside Jalin Hyatt; as a veteran who has been on multiple offenses, Brown can adjust quickly, but the question is whether he will impact Hyatt's early-season opportunity enough to prevent Hyatt from shining.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeValue86:52

Michael Wilson was traded away (along with picks 11 and 12 in the first round) for Malik Nabors in a rookie draft trade that Adam Azer now regrets; the trade looks like it will be a bad one in hindsight, as the draft class turned out to be poor and the picks were too late in the first round.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveProjection11:30

Joe Pisapia groups Mike Evans with Devontae Adams as proven 30+ year-old WRs who should not be counted out, citing their QB situations and offensive context as reasons to expect continued scoring. He contrasts this with unproven consensus breakout candidates in the same age range, arguing he'd rather invest in proven veterans than speculative emerging players.

Insight page
PositiveRole70:30

Evans is expected to be a primary target for Brock Purdy in San Francisco's offense; Purdy will lean on Evans because of his pedigree and the team's expectations for him, positioning him as a top receiving option.

Insight page

Nick Chubb

PositiveProjection27:57

Nick Chubb has been 10th and 13th in points per game in his first two seasons in six-point passing touchdown leagues, and performs even better in four-point passing touchdown leagues. Pisapia notes Chubb has consistently been good despite some flaws and gets no respect despite receiving weapons.

Insight page
NegativeRole28:48

Pisapia questions whether Nick Chubb's past volume will remain given the Broncos' run game committee situation. The backfield includes questions around JK Dobbins' health, Jonah Coleman's ability to fill the role, and RJ Harvey's between-the-tackles running. However, Sean Payton's offensive philosophy suggests he wants a balanced attack rather than a top-five passing offense, which could support Chubb's role.

Insight page

Ricky Pearsall

PositiveBreakout31:50

Ricky Pearsall is identified as a breakout candidate being drafted on the fringe of WR3/WR4; Joe Pisapia targets this range for shot-taking in draft strategy, positioning Pearsall as a player with emergence potential in his range.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeRole29:13

RJ Harvey's ability to run between the tackles is a question mark for the Broncos' run game committee. Pisapia identifies Harvey's between-the-tackles running as one of several uncertainties affecting the backfield's overall role distribution.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveValue47:54

Joe Pisapia includes Sam Laporta as a viable tight end alternative to Harold Fannin, suggesting he can be taken ahead of Fannin as part of a more strategic tight end selection approach.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue72:36

Joe Pisapia selects Saquon Barkley over Drake London in a full PPR comparison, and maintains the preference even in half PPR scoring. The choice reflects confidence in Barkley's value across different scoring formats.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveProjection10:10

Joe Pisapia identifies Terry McLaurin as his top candidate to be the 30+ year-old WR to finish top-12 this season (per Ryan McDowell's tweet noting that 38 of the past 40 seasons have had such a receiver). Pisapia emphasizes McLaurin's proven track record of productivity even with poor QB play, and highlights the dramatic upgrade to Jaden Daniels. He criticizes the fantasy community's short-term memory of McLaurin's past success and long-term obsession with one-off performers like Josh Gordon. Pisapia prefers proven veterans over unproven breakout candidates in the same age range.

Insight page
PositiveProjection60:45

Joe Pisapia identifies Terry McLaurin as being in an excellent spot this year, contingent on Jaden Daniels staying healthy. The implication is that McLaurin's situation has improved significantly, likely due to the arrival of a healthy, talented quarterback in Daniels.

Insight page
NegativeValue83:37

In a direct comparison posed by Joe Pisapia, Terry McLaurin is preferred over Malik Nabors for 2026 redraft, indicating McLaurin is viewed as the safer, more immediate value play relative to Nabors' injury risk and recovery uncertainty.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveValue74:03

In a three-way comparison between Travis Etienne, Travis Henry, and Ladd McConkey, Joe Pisapia selects Ladd McConkey, indicating that while Etienne is in consideration, McConkey is the preferred option.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveValue47:35

Joe Pisapia highlights Tucker Kraft as the tight end archetype that Harold Fannin aspires to be. Kraft was the focal point of Green Bay's passing attack with minimal target competition beyond Christian Watson (who has durability concerns). Pisapia suggests Kraft can be taken ahead of Fannin or after him depending on draft strategy, positioning him as a more reliable option than Fannin given the clarity of his role and the lack of competing tight end targets in the Packers offense.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveValue47:48

Joe Pisapia lists Tyler Warren as a preferable tight end option to Harold Fannin, suggesting Warren can be taken ahead of Fannin in draft strategy due to clearer role definition and organizational stability compared to the Browns' uncertainty.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

NegativeInjury6:12

Tyreek Hill released a workout video but stated he has no power in his left leg, indicating he is not ready to make an NFL comeback at this time.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeInjury6:26

Zach Charbonnet is officially on the PUP list to start training camp. Per the rules, if a player starts training camp on the PUP list, they can come off at any time without missing regular season games; however, if they start camp off the PUP list and then go on it, they must miss regular season time.

3:04Is everybody clear? It is not the Ravens. I've been told I'm no longer the coach of the Ravens.
3:10It is the New York Giants. Was his worse?
3:13Was Nagy's worse? Oh, I didn't see Nagy's. I didn't see Mads either.
3:17Was it worse? It's not worse because he's not the head coach.
3:20The head coach has got to be a little better.
3:23You know what? Let's not forget, too. Bill Belichick, not exactly the big rah-rah guy.
3:28Pretty good football coach. You don't have to be great at making speeches to be a good football coach, I think, at the end of the day.
3:36But it doesn't make it less hilarious. Completely non-story, though.

3:45You are the host of the Fandom NFL YouTube channel.
3:48You also got the black book that people can get.
3:51So, quick plug, and then we'll get to the show.
3:54Well, first of all, I already see people in the comments plugging stuff for me, which is beautiful.
3:59I love the people. So, yeah, I've gone ahead and perhaps crazily by the encouragement of all of the people out there who said, don't go away.
4:08Don't fade away. We want you to be back during football season.
4:11And the overwhelming, crazy amount of messages and the kindness, which I'm sure Adam Azer has never experienced his entire life.
4:18Like, all of that towards that new endeavor, which is the Fandom NFL channel.
4:22And I'm going to do things a little differently there.
4:25I'm trying to bring something a little different spin on fantasy.
4:28It's not just fantasy football. We're going to talk some wagering stuff, too.
4:32But it's a lot of football talk. And how NFL football and the stories that are going on and everything kind of
4:39also affect you in your fantasy investments. And I think that's very important.
4:43We're going to have beat writers on. We're going to have interviews.
4:46An amazing interview with Tony Farmer from Last Man Standing podcast about the Matt Miller fiasco.
4:51Because I feel like we're in a Twitter football bubble.
4:54And I talked to some of my friends last week at a barbecue who are big football fans.
5:00I'm like, what do you think of that story?
5:02And they're like, what are you talking about? And we're kind of in our own little bubble sometimes.
5:08And we start to, I think, bring some of these really interesting stories out there for the general public.
5:14I think it's really interesting. And that one, especially since all the layers of the fantasy stuff and the dynasty charity leagues
5:20that he was involved in and not paying people out.
5:23It's the craziest story. So it's going to have stuff like that.
5:27But it's going to have a ton of fantasy content, too.
5:30So something that's going to run just all the time for NFL.
5:34And, of course, a black book out there on Amazon, too, with the digital cheat sheets that get updated, too.
5:40That's all available. So if you're looking to support, go subscribe to the new fandom NFL channel.
5:45Check it out. New video dropping today at 11.
5:48Try to do it after I'm here because I don't want to, you know, I don't want to conflict here in the
5:54ratings of this show, which are much, much larger.
5:57Well, someone already said in our chat, maybe we have Adam's replacement now.
6:01No. No, no, no. No. Adam Azer. I didn't hear what Jamie said.
6:05Who could replace you, Adam? I didn't want to know.
6:08Who could do that? All right. Let's get to our news and notes.
6:12Tyreek Hill, a video of him working out. But he said that there's no he has no power in his left leg.
6:19So it doesn't seem like Tyreek Hill is quite ready to make an NFL comeback.
6:23Seattle running backs. I already told you yesterday about Kenny McIntosh.
6:27But Zach Charbonnet is officially on the pup list as well.
6:30And right now the pup list, you can come off the pup list at any time.
6:35Just they're starting training camp on the pup list.
6:37If you start training camp, not on the pup list, and then you go on pup, then you have to miss some regular season times.
6:45But if you're on pup list to start training camp, you can come off whenever.
6:50Nick Imanwari, their star young safety, is also on the pup list.
6:53He had arthroscopic ankle surgery. He is expected to be ready for week one.
6:57Zach Rosenblatt of The Athletic thinks that Isaiah Davis is the early favorite to be the Jets' backup running back.
7:03Davis had two games last year with seven to nine carries.
7:07He averaged 9.3 yards per carry at the Bengals, 6.4 yards per carry at the Jaguars.
7:12In both of those games, he had a long run, 50-yard run at the Bengals, 24-yard touchdown run at the Jaguars.
7:18So maybe Isaiah Davis is the name to know as the backup running back to Brees Hall.
7:23We'll see how that—it was an early guess. It wasn't a definitive statement.
7:27We'll see how that battle plays out in training camp.
7:30Wouldn't he be best suited to continue doing what he was doing last year, which is playing on passing downs?
7:36Yeah, but he has just been a pretty effective rush.
7:39I think the point was that he's been good when he's played.
7:43So maybe that's a real handcuff then because Braylon Allen, we know, is not going to be a passing downs guy.
7:49No, but if Brees Hall were to take a flight to Tahiti and accidentally miss a game, then I think we'd see
7:56a pretty steady split, maybe even close to 50-50 between Braylon and Isaiah Davis.
8:00I think Davis has that role locked up, and Frank Reich uses multiple running backs.
8:05One is the running downs guy, and one is the passing downs guy.
8:09That's his whole history. And I don't think he's going to vary from that very much.
8:13And that means that Isaiah Davis will play a lot.
8:16I just don't know if it means that he's the guy to have on your fantasy team who will for sure take
8:23off and be a top-15 fantasy running back for those Tahiti weeks for Brees.
8:27There are a couple of Twitter accounts that are pretty good to follow right now.
8:32One of us at Adam, no, just kidding. Of CoachSpeak Index is pretty good.
8:36And 32 Beatwriters, what is it? At 32 Beatwriters.
8:39Yeah, there you go. You'll get some good information there.
8:42I'm not going to say everything that every beat reporter is saying right now about players looking good or whatever.
8:48It's too early, I think, but you can get some buzz there.
8:52But Liam Cohen on the CoachSpeak Index, Liam Cohen did an interview on the Schrager Hour, and he talked a lot about
8:58Bejal Tootin and how they're expecting big things from Bejal Tootin.
9:02And last year, I thought it was interesting what he said to me was last year, Bejal Tootin was really focused on ball security.
9:09And now he can sort of free his mind and focus on other things now as a rusher.
9:14But he said, quote, we're definitely expecting Tootin to have a big year for us.
9:19So again, we'll see how it plays out. And that's just one thing that kind of caught my eye yesterday.
9:25Okay, we've got CBS Sports Network today. We're on noon Eastern on CBS Sports Network.
9:29The audio of that show will be made available in this podcast channel.
9:33And the video will be in the YouTube channel as well, youtube.com slash fantasy football today.
9:38We're talking about most undervalued and most overvalued players, bounce back players for 2026.
9:42And I've got a fun segment. I hope it's fun.
9:45Are they the same guy? I'm going to compare two wide receivers with very similar profiles and see if their ADPs are
9:52different and what that means for value. Joe, I'm going to throw this at you.
9:57A tweet of the day from Ryan McDowell of Dynasty League Football.
10:00And Ryan says, There has been a 30-plus-year-old fantasy football wide receiver who has finished top 12.
10:0538 of the past 40 seasons. That is wild.
10:08So we pretty much always have a top 12 wide receiver that's 30 years old or older.
10:13Who will it be this year? Ryan McDowell of Dynasty League Football asks.
10:17What do you think? Who's your best bet for a top 12 receiver that's 30 or older?
10:22Well, when does DJ Moore turn 30? I think he's 29 still.
10:26He's 29, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, so he doesn't work there.
10:29You know, I mean, why can't it be Terry McLaurin?
10:32Let's just get back to business here with Terry McLaurin.
10:35It's amazing to me the short-term memory of good work that people have and the long-term memory of one-offs that people have
10:42where they chased Josh Gordon for years and years off one great season, but they can't seem to recall a time and
10:48space where Terry McLaurin was actually productive. Well, I do.
10:51I'm old enough to remember it, and I'm old enough to remember it with very bad quarterback play.
10:57And then Jaden Daniels comes to town, and it's spectacular.
11:00And last year, as that holdout went longer and longer, it was one of the things I preached about on all my
11:07shows too, which is the longer you hold out, we see the same thing happen over and over again.
11:12These guys come into camp late. They're behind. No matter what their private workout situation is, it's not the same.
11:18And then they get to camp late. They end up inevitably having soft tissue injuries and all kinds of problems.
11:24And next thing you know, they end up missing time.
11:27Jane Daniels missed time. The whole thing was a nightmare.
11:30So I think that's the easy answer. Probably looking at that same realm of if we're going to count out Mike Evans
11:37and we're going to count out Devontae Adams, considering the quarterbacks they play with and the offenses they're in and how much scoring is going to be there.
11:46I think we're crazy. And that's one of the weird things I talked about on today's show at Fandom too, which is
11:52I'm looking at some of these consensus breakout guys who are in that same range, and I'd just rather turn my attention
11:59to the guys who have done it time and time again, despite the fact that the age is a factor.
12:05I get that. As opposed to the guys who have just never done it at all.
12:10So that's where I'm at. But Terry McLaurin to be the first one that I would circle.
12:15Yeah. Evans, Adams, those guys will get some votes too.
12:18But McLaurin and then I don't think DJ Moore quite turns 30 this season, but he just missed.
12:23All right. Let's get to Joe's sleepers, breakouts and busts.
12:26Sleepers, Jordan Addison and Bo Nix. All right. Jordan Addison.
12:30Start with him. Joe, what do you have to say about the, what, fourth year wide out now, I believe for Minnesota?
12:36Yeah. I'm looking to get paid too. I mean, let's not forget that when money's on the table for these guys.
12:43And this is another scenario too, where everything that could have possibly gone wrong for the Vikings last year went wrong.
12:49But if we dial back just all the way to 2024, boys and girls, it's wide receiver 20.
12:54His rookie season wide receiver 21. Now, a lot of that was from touchdowns, right?
12:5919 touchdowns in those two years. And that's perfectly fine.
13:02He also scratched over, you know, 875 yards in both of those seasons.
13:06Last year, it was just at six to 10.
13:09He missed some time. He even missed some time in 2024, which people forget.
13:13Had he played the extra two games, there's a good chance he would have been closer to a thousand yards.
13:19And I do have a certain amount of faith in a scenario where you have a former number one, overall quarterback selection
13:26in Kyler Murray, who sure has his deficits and sure has had his issues is going to play football with the best wide receiver on the planet.
13:34We're the best offensive minds in the planet, Kevin O'Connell.
13:37And you're dropping into a scenario where it's basically S or get off the pot, where you've got to figure out if
13:43you are still a starter in this league and you're going to have a career or you're going to be one of these guys.
13:51It's now just a competition guy that they bring in.
13:54So your career is on the line. And I feel like when you have great athletes and their careers are on the
14:00line or their reputations are on the line, and to a certain extent, Kevin O'Connell's in kind of a tricky spot too,
14:07because of how disappointing last year was and how good that division is.
14:11To me, I look at this scenario and I say, Jordan Addison's a piece that's pretty cheap that I want.
14:17He's the consensus wide receiver 45. That's worse than he finished last year.
14:21And I don't understand that because this is a guy at his best is a top 20 ish wide receiver and you're
14:28going to get him so much later. So for me, Addison's a guy that I'm buying right back into.
14:33And I understand why the, the, the price is what it is.
14:37I just think typically it's wrong. And I would rather take an investment late on somebody list.
14:42So this is a sleeper that's actually performed before, but I think this year because of his ADP is basically being drafted as such.
14:49Okay. That's Jordan Addison. We're going to get thoughts on Addison from Dave and Jamie in a moment.
14:55And I think it's an interesting way to phrase it, a sleeper that's actually performed before, because he's in the same range
15:01as Ricky Pierce, all who we'll talk about a little bit later.
15:05Um, Josh downs. These guys have never done it really, certainly not over a full season.
15:10They haven't ever been a top 25 receiver per game, I think twice for Jordan Addison.
15:15So I think that's a interesting angle on that.
15:18So we'll be right back. We're going to take a break and we'll get Dave and Jamie's thoughts on the sleeper call of Jordan Addison after this.
15:26This past summer, my wife and I took my parents, our son and our granddaughter on vacation to Tennessee.
15:31We wanted to get out into nature. So we found the perfect cabin on Airbnb where all four generations could stay together.
15:38The amenities really made the trip special. We had our own hot tub with a mountain view, a fire pit for late night s'mores and a full kitchen.
15:47When you're traveling with four generations, eating every meal out gets expensive.
15:50So it was great to make bacon and eggs for breakfast one morning and grill steaks for dinner.
15:56Another night booking a stay like this gives you the flexibility to vacation, how you want, where you want with the people who matter most.
16:03But it got me thinking Airbnb isn't just great for finding places to stay.
16:07You can also list your own home when you're away.
16:10It's nice that the same platform I use to book family vacations can also help me earn a little extra money during

16:21Honestly, listing my house feels like a smart thing to do because it's just so incredibly practical.
16:26I'm already going to be traveling anyway. So why not earn a little extra money to put toward an upcoming vacation, help
16:33offset the cost of my flights or upgrade my travel gear turns an empty house into an easy opportunity while you enjoy your own time off.
16:40Your home might be worth more than you think.

18:15Get started today. Okay, Jamie, what do you think about the sleeper call on Jordan Addison?
18:20Love it. Love it. You know, I think you, you know, we talk a lot about, hey, Justin Jefferson and what he
18:26did with Carson Wentz in those, you know, four games last year, five games last year with Wentz.
18:32Addison played in four of those games and it was his best stretch of games as well.
18:37So, you know, how much of this is just really a JJ McCarthy thing versus what this team's going to look like,
18:44what Kyler Murray's going to do, Kevin O'Connell's history.
18:46The one concern with Addison, and I love everything Joe said, and I agree with everything Joe said, but the one concern
18:53would be is, what does Jawan Jennings do to everybody there?
18:56Just because he obviously has a better resume than Jalen Naylor.
19:00He obviously is coming into a situation with a nine touchdown season in the previous year.
19:05And does he just create a little bit more of a problem?
19:08Because we've never seen Kyler consistently support multiple targets.
19:11And so, you know, Jefferson's going to get fed.
19:14I'm hoping, counting on expecting, sounds like Joe is as well, Jordan Addison to be two.
19:18He should be based on talent, but is it going to be, there's a clear one, there's a clear two, and then
19:25there's a clear everybody else, which is kind of what has been since Addison's been there.
19:30And now is it a clear one? And then a mess underneath Justin Jefferson.
19:34And I hope that's not the case. So I think that's baked into Addison's price.
19:39I think that's what you're looking at here. And if he does get the contract year bump of, Hey, I got to
19:45get my life right because we know he says, no off field stuff.
19:49And I got to get my game right. And I think the quarterback upgrade will help.
19:54Then you get a great player at Addison's cost.
19:57Okay. I'm, I'm skittish on Kyler and Jamie, Jamie mentioned it there.
20:01There is not a good track record of Kyler Murray helping multiple wide receivers get good fantasy production.
20:06But if we're looking for, you want to call it 11.6 PPR points.
20:10That's what he had at minimum. Every game with Carson Wentz last year, he also had 7.5 targets in those games, which is very high for him.
20:18Usually he's right around six. If we're looking for 11.6, okay, this is a receiver that I would like to have on my bench.
20:25The contingency upside is pretty good. If something were to happen to Jetta, but otherwise I, I feel like I want to
20:32shoot for upside on a bunch of other wide receivers before I go back for Addison.
20:37Totally agree about the talent. I've loved him since his days at, at, at Southern Cal and pit.
20:42And he was awesome, but I, I do worry about the quarterback situation.
20:46I worry about a little bit for Jefferson too, to be perfectly honest, Kyler has not been an amazing thrower.
20:52He's got his weaknesses. You mentioned that Joe, and that's the type of thing that could absolutely sink the upside for everybody involved in Minnesota.
21:00One last thing though, and this is just something that might help you feel more confident about Addison getting to 11.6.
21:06Their run game is a, it looks like a quagmire to me.
21:10Yes, because Aaron Jones is so old Jordan Mason.
21:13I know he's going to get a good opportunity.
21:15I don't know if I'm really buying him to be great for fantasy.
21:19And DeMond Claiborne is, is, is fun, but I don't know if he's going to have a big role.
21:25This team could end up throwing a lot. And that makes me a little bit more encouraged, but that's just, that makes
21:32me feel better about the floor more than the ceiling.
21:35For what it's worth. I have the, my concerns are the two that these two gentlemen laid out there.
21:40It is the Juwan Jennings presence. I think, well, you know, it's different offense.
21:45I'm hoping that like Juwan Jennings popping off those times was really just a matter of, there was nobody left at the end of throw to.
21:53And those are the games where he really started to shine.
21:56And then the Kyler Murray questions you have, I think are completely legitimate.
22:00The thing that I keep telling myself to help me sleep at night.
22:04When I make these sorts of statements about Jordan Addison is that.
22:07Kyler Murray has also never worked with an offensive coach.
22:10So what Kevin O'Connell is. And as somebody who coaches young quarterbacks, I can tell you the, the confidence that you get
22:17when you work with people that, you know, have raw talent, and then you have all of a sudden this acumen to make them understand the field better.
22:26You can, you can take that talent and really explain the position to them better.
22:30And even when you get to the NFL level, it's so much faster and everything is so much better at that level than it is in college.
22:38It's easier for the great athletes to dominate in college.
22:41It's something you saw Caleb Williams do, right? But he struggles when he gets to the NFL because of the reads and
22:48the progressions and all this stuff that he's got to figure out of playing the position at the highest level.
22:54I don't think Kyler has ever been challenged enough and appropriately by the right kind of offensive minds all of his time
23:01in Arizona in an organization that frankly still makes you pay for your own lunch, which is a crazy thing, right?
23:07Like that place is still not great. And I want to see what he can do in an environment that is just far better.
23:14But to the point these guys make, those are the two things I think would stunt the sleeper status potentially, which is good because he's cheap enough.
23:22If you're wrong on Addison, it's still not going to kill you in drafts.
23:27Sure. Yeah. Okay. By the way, 11.6 fantasy points is what Dave said is the lowest in the four games that he played with Carson Wentz, Jordan Addison.
23:35Just want to point out a few things. One, Carson Wentz threw a lot of passes.
23:40He threw 46, 34, 42, and then 27 passes in that game of 27 passes.
23:45Max Brosmer had four pass attempts. So Kyler's not going to do that, but it was a 20.5% target share for Addison.
23:51And if you told me he was going to get a 20.5% target share, I would definitely take him around a hundredth overall, which is where he's going.
24:00But no, I think he deserves to go higher than that.
24:03Yeah, fine. Sure. But no one mentioned TJ Hawkinson.
24:06I don't think he was completely an afterthought last year.
24:09I don't know what that was all about. If his target per run rate bounces back, then that could complicate things.
24:15And then final thing, 11.6, again, 11.6 PBR fantasy points.
24:18Guess who averaged 11.6 PBR fantasy points per game last year?
24:21Jefferson. Jawan Jennings. Oh. It felt like Justin. What a troll.
24:25What a troll. Look at you. Very random. All right, let's go to Bo Nix.
24:29And I love, I mean, we've mentioned that how underappreciated Bo Nix seems this year, but yeah, you're, he's a sleeper for you.
24:36Bo Nix and on fantasy pros, Bo Nix is QB 15 going 111th in ADP.
24:41Oh, oh, there. Oh, okay. Um, so, so here, here's what I've come to with, with Bo Nix, um, is that when
24:48you're in super flex this year or even deeper QB leagues, I understand when you watch Bo Nix, it gets a little maddening.
24:54Sometimes I understand the first halves were not great.
24:57I made this appeal on the first show that I don't fandom when I'm talking about the guys that I'm looking and
25:04targeting and I think are good values are going to return at higher levels.
25:08And I come back to Bo Nix. And what's so interesting about Bo Nix is when you look at the projections year
25:15over year for him, you're looking at basically a copy and paste job, which I always find interesting when projections tell you
25:21that, especially when you add a wide receiver, like a Jalen Waddle, who was not there last year.
25:27You're also talking about a quarterback in his third year.
25:30So I expect most quarterbacks to have some struggles and some ups and downs in their sophomore season, because when there's more
25:37tape on you, everybody in the league has more time to study you, adjust you, find your weaknesses.
25:42What was good is that Bo Nix at a lot of halftimes was making adjustments and coming back in games and finding ways to win football games.
25:50And that's good. That's going to keep your job.
25:53But it's funny because you look at the 2025 stats and the 2026 projections, and they are basically identical.
25:59And you're talking about a quarterback is going to get you around 300 fantasy points.
26:03And he's going right now as what the 15th quarterback off the board.
26:07And if you're talking about late round quarterback strategy, Bo Nix fits into it.
26:11If you're talking about adding another weapon in the off season that the Broncos paid some serious draft capital for, that matters to me.
26:19I still think that run game is kind of a weird committee here.
26:23Coleman's an interesting guy later in the season. We'll see if he pops off a little bit, but Bo Nix can run.
26:29Bo Nix is mobile. I understand some of this is also concern about the injury, but it seems like Sean Payton is
26:36very bullish about him and that recovery. It seems like week one is not a problem.
26:41We're going to go right after it. But I think when you have your third year in the league, you've had success.
26:47You're on a very good team. The defense is going to continue to put them in some short yardage situations with the
26:54turnovers they create and the amount of pressure. I mean, nobody's got more sacks than the Denver Broncos last three years, right?
27:01178. That's almost 30 more than the second team, which is the Ravens.
27:05And now you're talking about a scenario where you give Bo Nix short fields.
27:09There's more scoring. You give him another weapon. There's more scoring.
27:12So I don't buy this whole copy and paste job.
27:15I think there's room for more. And the fact that he is a three 99 single quarterback league guy is great.
27:22And in super flex, he's right in that, what I have to call the soft middle, I think is tremendous value as well.
27:29And I would use CBS ADP on Bo Nix, but he's QB 21.
27:33Adam Mazur, it's your show. You can use the ADP from wherever you want.
27:37Go draft sharks. Now we'll, we'll use different ones, but he QB 21 on CBS, which is honestly, it's not that crazy.
27:43He was behind Baker Mayfield, Jordan love Kyler Murray.
27:46It just shows you how deep the position is.
27:49All these guys could be good picks. One thing that, so I don't know if we have to get too much into Nick's because we completely agree.
27:57I mean, he's been 10th, I think in 13th per game in his first two seasons in six point for passing touchdown leagues.
28:04And he's even better in four point. So I just look at his schedule.
28:08Now, do we think the chiefs are going to be a tough matchup?
28:12They lost their starting cornerbacks. So it's, well, I mean, they got the guy you've loved forever.
28:17Who's that? Well, Jerry's needs back. Oh yeah. And they drafted a cornerback in top 10, but their early schedule is at the chiefs home against the Jaguars.
28:26They're actually pretty solid defense last year. The Rams at the Niners at the chargers and then Seattle.
28:31That's their first six games. It's just something. It sounds like they're going to need Bo next.
28:36It sounds like he might struggle though. I mean, those are tough matchups, but it'd be some low scoring games.
28:42Yeah. Yeah. All right. I think the thing about the thing about Nick's is that he's, he's like the one guy for
28:49the last, I don't know how many years where he gets the weapon and gets no respect.
28:54Right. Like he's been, he's been so good despite some of the flaws.
28:58I, I do question if the vault, the past volume will still be there because yes, the run game is a little suspect, but it's a big hope.
29:07It's, you know, it's hoping JK Dobbins stays healthy.
29:09It's hoping Jonah Coleman can, you know, sort of fill that role.
29:13It's hoping RJ Harvey can run better between the tackles.
29:16It's a lot of questions. So that makes sense.
29:19But like, you still know what Sean Payton wants to do.
29:22It's like, he doesn't want to have, I think a top five passing attack.
29:26I think it wants to, I think it wants to be a little bit more balanced in terms of what the numbers are.
29:33So I'll ask you guys, Bo Nix or Bo Nix or Kyler Murray.
29:37I'll take Bo Nix. Two Nixes and a Kyler.
29:40I think I heard Bo Nix or Daniel Jones.
29:43Bo Nix. Nix. Jared Goff. I'll take off. Goff never gets enough respect.
29:47I'll take off too, but it's, it's close for me.
29:50It's definitely close. I think since both are backups, it depends on what you're looking for, because if you're looking for high upside, it's Bo Nix.
29:58Cause I think we see what Jared Goff is.
30:00He's just kind of that 20 to 23 point type of guy.
30:04I think Bo Nix, if he hits with Jalen model, we'll be better.
30:08So if I need a safe quarterback, I'm going to take Jared Goff.
30:12I need a little bit more. Hey, let's swing for the fence.
30:15It's the Bo Nix. All right. Nick's Bo Nix, Stevie Nix, Hakeem Nix, and the New York Nix.
30:21Oh, well, Stevie Nix is number one. I look, I'm sorry.
30:24Nick's man. Stevie Nix is still number one. No, no, no, no, no.
30:28Silver Springs, Silver Springs live all time. Great performance there.
30:31You could sing a breakup song to the guy you broke up with in front of millions of people to make a
30:38ton of money on that's baller stuff. Nick's all great this year.
30:41Tremendous. All, all time run. Somebody in my family are still crying and enjoy about it.
30:46And it's a beautiful thing, but let's not also forget all the pain that was there too.
30:51I forgot about all the pain. It's close second.
30:54And then Hakeem Nix, I think is that, that's my personal ranking, but I will put Bo behind the New York Nix just because they've won.
31:02So he's three. Hakeem is four. Okay. Uh, where's Jack Black's singing Stevie Nix in that list?
31:07Yes. Great call. So good. From a school of rock.
31:10There's a great poll, Frank. Okay. Let's talk about breakouts here.
31:13I'm going to, I'm going to lump the two breakouts together.
31:17Ricky Pearsall and Makai Lemon, and just doing a little bit of, uh, let's see if I have it here.
31:23Devante Smith notes and what his target share was.
31:26The last four regular seasons, Devante Smith's target share in games where both AJ Brown and Dallas Goddard played, stayed on the
31:32field, stayed healthy, didn't leave with an injury. It's not bad.
31:36It's pretty encouraging. I think 26.9%, 21.2%, 21.4% and 24.2%.
31:39So at least 21.2% target share for Devante Smith.
31:41When both Goddard and Brown were healthy last four years.
31:44Now that's not amazing when you have the low pass volume, but anyway, I'll throw it over to Joe.
31:50Now, Ricky Pearsall and Makai Lemon are your two, two breakouts.
31:53You wanted to talk about today. Go for it.
31:56Well, these are two guys that are being drafted on the fringe of wide receiver three slash four.
32:02Right. And I love this range because depending on what your draft strategy is, you're looking to kind of take some shots.
32:08I think when you start to get into this range of player.
32:12Now what Makai Lemon is to me is a player that I think can hit the ground running in this offense.
32:18I, I think there's a weird negativity around Jalen hurts that is not deserved considering he gets a new offensive coordinator every single year.
32:26That's a lot on a quarterback that lack of consistency.
32:29And the fact that he can overcome it every year is good.
32:32People say, well, he's not that great over the middle.
32:35It's not that he's not good over the middle.
32:38The problem is that's never been the focal point of the offense and how they want to attack it.
32:44They're going to have to change that now because of the personnel they have and any offensive coordinator worth their salt is
32:50going to make those adjustments and start to attack the middle of the field a little bit more.
32:56When you have a guy who can play in the slot, like a Makai Lemon, you have, or the lack thereof now
33:02big body wide receiver, like an AJ Brown. So you're going to have to change what you do and the way you
33:09approach it with the personnel you have. And I do believe this regime will be smart enough to do that.
33:15And Makai Lemon, you know, he's a mercurial personality.
33:18There's no doubt about that. He is definitely not your average dude, but I do think when you watch his tape, you know, I think Amon Ross St.
33:26Brown comparisons are very lofty. I don't want to put anybody up against the work ethic of Amon Ross St.
33:32Brown because he's in a different planet than everybody else, but the skillset stuff is there.
33:37And I do believe this is a player that you don't have to wait till week 10 to see returns on, which is also important.
33:45And then when it comes to Ricky Pearsall, same kind of deal where Ricky Pearsall has actually shown you some flashes of this.
33:52And it's very difficult in the 49ers offense. And where I always struggle with Pearsall is, well, okay, it's, it's Christian McCaffrey.
33:58Then it's a healthy George Kittle. Now it's a Mike Evans in there.
34:02So at best, he's the fourth guy, right? And, and that's frustrating sometimes, but I think what he has going in his
34:09favor is the fact that all three of those guys all have injury concerns.
34:13There's all path at some point where their ability to stay on the field and play every single game is in question.
34:20Ricky Pearsall has had the similar problem. Some of those obviously beyond his control.
34:24We know about that in his first year, but there were some flashes last year where you saw him operate in this field.
34:31And it does feel like that draft capital is not dead for this organization.
34:35It feels like Kyle Shanahan still does believe in this player very much and, and, and stripling, I don't think is a
34:42guy that can compete with what Pearsall has been able to do so far.
34:46So I do think these are two guys that are right on that fringe that if you want to double up in
34:53the wide receiver group, there in that pool with that range, right?
34:57You have back-to-back picks or you're close there and you need some wide receiver help.
35:01I think at least one of these guys can deliver those kinds of moments where you draft them as wide receiver three
35:08slash fours, and they perform more like twos and threes.
35:11And that to me is how you win fantasy leagues.
35:14When you identify those guys that have the upside to jump a tier at wide receiver, and eventually you can draft guys
35:21that twos who have number one performances, half a dozen times a year.
35:24To me, that's the big difference. And I think these two guys in their respective offenses with good quarterback play can do that.
35:31Who, who, how would you rank Addison, Lemon, Pearsall?
35:34Interesting. Um, because we're talking about that cluster there, right?
35:37Um, it's a tough question. It is, it is.
35:40I would still go Addison because when you've given me 20 wide receiver, 20 twice, okay, I'm not throwing that out the window.
35:47So still Addison for me, I would take Lemon next because I do think Lemon is a need more than anything.
35:53Pearsall feels like a little bit more of a luxury item in that.
35:57Forte and her offense potentially. Whereas I don't see that being an option with the Eagles.
36:02I think they need Makai Lemon to go be that guy.
36:05And if you're going to start jump and I know how he doesn't have the greatest track record or draft and wide receiver.
36:12Sometimes that's that we know that sometimes it's hit and miss, but when you leapfrog the Steelers in that draft in order
36:19to make that pick, I think you're there to use that guy and utilize him in the offense.
36:24Okay. Dave, how do you rank those three Addison Lemon?
36:27Pearsall. It's very close between Pearsall and Addison, but I like the ceiling of Pearsall more.
36:32That'll change. If we get to mid August and George Kittle's practicing, Mike Evans is in the best shape of his life.
36:39CMC is still out there doing his thing. There's definitely going to be a target crunch.
36:44If all those guys are healthy in San Francisco and it makes it really hard to buy into Pearsall, that's on top
36:50of the fact that Pearsall has had injury concerns.
36:53I do love the flashes. Joe mentioned the flashes.
36:56I love the flashes from Pearsall. Every time he had at least seven targets last year, he was over 13 PPR points.
37:03With Lemon, I'm wondering if it's going to take a year because the college game isn't the same as the pro game.
37:09We all know this and the things that he was great at in college.
37:13Yeah, it fits what Philadelphia's offense is looking for now.
37:16They need somebody who can beat zone, somebody who's going to cross the field, sit in soft spots, make a play after
37:23the catch, have that yards after catch. I'm not sure the targets will be there for him.
37:28I'm not as optimistic about it as Joe is.
37:31Let's put it that way, especially with Philadelphia consistently being a bastion of running and not putting the ball in the air a ton.
37:38And if we're expecting this big leap for Devontae Smith, he's the one who's going to get the targets.
37:44I think Dallas Goddard will have a say in things, particularly in the red zone.
37:49And I feel like Lemon will be a little too boom or bust.
37:52So give me Pearsall first, Addison second, Lemon significantly after those two.
37:56Adam, can I ask Dave a question real quick?
37:59No. All right. It was a good try. Thanks everybody.
38:02Appreciate it. Appreciate the time. If you're a defensive coordinator, what's the first thing you do when you're going against the Eagles?
38:09What are you game planning to stop? You got to stop the run.
38:12No question. You got to stop the cycle. And to me, that's that notion of like, there's, that's where the opportunity lies
38:19because I know now you can't beat me over the top anymore with AJ Brown.
38:24You can't throw these jump balls there. You don't have that kind of crew that's going to be able to, to handle
38:30that kind of a workload or that kind of style.
38:33So now you become easier. In my opinion, as a D coordinator that I can go out there and I get to,
38:40all right, I'm going to eliminate Saquon. Okay. Jalen hurts.
38:43You're going to beat me the passing game through all this stuff.
38:47And I think that to me is where the, at least the opportunity for lemon lives.
38:51But to Dave's point, yeah, that's still going to, they're going to still try to dictate their best situation, which is to run the football.
38:59So that's going to be a fascinating thing to watch it play out, especially in that East.
39:04That's gotten a little bit better. The, the tricky part about that for defensive coordinators is that you've got to stop the
39:11run and you've got to play zone coverage at the same time, because if you play man, you really give a huge advantage to Jalen hurts.
39:19If your pass rush can't get to him. So I think a lemon is a good fit for them.
39:24Maybe like we'll, we'll see him in September, not be great.
39:28And by the time we get to Thanksgiving, then he could be somebody that we're considering as a wide receiver three.
39:34That wouldn't surprise me either, but I've got my eye on 2027 for lemon.
39:38I loved him coming. I was my favorite receiver coming out.
39:42I just think it's going to take a little bit of time for, and it's not just him.
39:47It's everybody in Philadelphia is going to have to adjust.
39:50This is a West coast offense. It's a lot different than what they've been playing.
39:55And I think there's going to be some, they're going to ask some things of Jalen hurts that he's not necessarily, he hasn't done a lot of.
40:03And it's, it's remains to be seen if he's going to be as good doing those things right away, or if it's
40:10going to take a little bit of time, but the hallmark of that West coast offense is letting it rip.
40:16I just hope he throws more. I mean, the last two years they've been so low in past volume.
40:21Jamie, Corey says, Pierce all Addison lemon. Sounds like a hoity toity drink.
40:25Adam would get at his high end New York.
40:28I have been at a bar where you've ordered that with.
40:31Oh yeah. I don't think so. Not me. Pierce all Addison.
40:35I hate lemon. And I don't drink. It would have been a twist of lemon.
40:39Like that was, that's right. And the drink comes in six months because it's on the shelf too long.
40:45Lemon and drinks is no good. Jamie, your ranking of Pierce all Addison lemon.
40:49It's Addison. Then Pierce all on lemon closer together.
40:52I think the, the, the concern with Pierce all versus lemon is lemons walking into a situation that is so wide open
40:59that the targets should be there for him. The question becomes is the Marquise Brown, Dontavian Wicks, Elijah Moores of the world.
41:05Are they going to impact lemon early on in the season enough where he doesn't shine because he's clearly a much more
41:12talented player than those guys at this point in his career.
41:15It's just a matter of does Marquise Brown, for example, do the right things because he's a veteran has been on a
41:22few different offenses can adjust a little bit quicker.
41:25So that's really the concern there. Pierce all is walking into a situation where there's a hall of famer joining him.
41:31Uh, they said, if Kittle is going to practice, it seems like he's almost certainly going to practice at this point based on what we're seeing from him.
41:39The thing that I hate about Pierce all right now is the health concerns.
41:44There's a video that's been circulating of him running in shorts and no shirt on with a knee brace on still.
41:50Like, what are we doing here? If he can't stay healthy with this guy, it's just so unfortunate because there, there's so much talent.
41:57Uh, but they bring in Evans. They bring in Christian Kirk, who I think is one of these guys that's always going to be an underrated veteran.
42:06That will impact almost everybody. And you know, we hate that coaches love that.
42:10Uh, and then I do think, you know, again, we're, we're, we're begging for news items.
42:15The, the latest one from the 49ers is, Oh, the Rams were in on Deshaun's dribbling.
42:19Everybody thought he was this great wide receiver. At the time he was drafted, everybody just pooped all over it because it was too soon.
42:27So we'll see how much dribbling is a factor here.
42:30But I think just in the case of Pierce all like, you know, Purdy's going to lean on Evans because of who
42:37he is and what they're expecting from him. You know, he's going to lean on Kittle.
42:42And then I think Pierce all's fighting for that third spot, which he should get, but you know, we have that guy, Christian McCaffrey as well.
42:49Lemon just has such a wide open canvas. You know, we, we, we are anointing Devante Smith, understandably.
42:55So there's 120 targets that are available. If lemon's not better than Marquise Brown and those guys, at least at some point
43:02early in the season, I don't think it's going to take as long as Dave thinks.
43:06I think it's going to happen sooner. I think lemon's going to be a factor for Jalen hurts.
43:12And if he's not better than, you know, Joe made a great point.
43:16Then it's another failure from how he Roseman just in drafting that position.
43:20Once again, I will say this too. It's Christian Kirk.
43:23That has me having Pierce all third in that list because to Jamie's point, there's nothing I hate more than a boring
43:29veteran that gets brought in for depth. When you're trying to get a breakout in fantasy, because that, especially in the early
43:36going in the first six weeks, some guys are going to want to lean on the veteran and then, you know, see
43:43if he can contribute because he's a veteran and you trust him and all that stuff.
43:48And that, that to me is why Pierce all third in that list, but they're all tight in ADP for a reason.
43:54Okay. So just want to give people a little hope for San Francisco, the 2023 San Francisco 49ers, they threw only 29 passes per game.
44:02They have become more pass heavy, more of Brock Purdy's team.
44:05Since then, Brock Purdy was QB eight per game.
44:08Christian McCaffrey was RB one per game. George Kittle was tight end seven per game, almost tight end six per game in
44:14a pretty good year for tight ends. He averaged 12.7 fantasy points per game.
44:19Brandon. And Iuke was wide receiver 16 per game.
44:21And Debo Samuel was actually wide receiver 14 per game.
44:24But that, if you take away a lot of his rushing, you take away his rushing stats, he would have been about wide receiver 36 per game.
44:33So that is the, I think I said QB eight for Purdy, but I forgot there were two quarterbacks ahead of him that played one in five games.
44:41So that's QB six, RB one, tight end six or seven, wide receiver 14, and wide receiver 36, all on the same
44:48team with them only throwing 29 passes per game.
44:51They are the offense that can be so efficient that they turn their targets into fantasy points, basically better than any team in the NFL.
44:58All right. We're going to take a break and get into Joe's busts, Harold Fannin Jr.
45:03and Malik neighbors of the New York Giants when we come back.

46:53Harold Fannin Jr., Malik Mabers, on the bus list for Joe Pisapia.
46:57Let's talk about Harold Fannin Jr. Look, I like Harold Fannin Jr.
47:00as a talent. So this is not a knock on Harold Fannin.
47:04This is a knock more on the relationship of Harold Fannin to the tight end room that we're looking at in the
47:11pool this year, and then on top of which the quarterbacks he's going to play with at some point in time.
47:17So Harold Fannin, I think there were some flashes there where people going, okay, this is going to be the main guy in the offense.
47:25And it very well still might be. But here's kind of the struggle bus for me.
47:29You're still dealing with a Watson-Shador Sanders mix there that we still have no real clarity on.
47:35I mean, we can all take our guesses, but at the end of the day, it's still going to be weird in
47:41August, and it could even be weird all year.
47:44Then you have a situation where he's going ahead of somebody like Tucker Kraft.
47:48Now, Tucker Kraft is exactly the guy that you want Harold Fannin to be that he was last year, right?
47:54Because Tucker Kraft was the guy that was the focal point, basically, of that passing attack.
47:59They did not bring in anybody else. The biggest target competition that a guy like Tucker Kraft has is Christian Watson, who,
48:06God bless him, is very spectacular in his playmaking ability, but less spectacular in his ability to stay on the field.
48:12And when I look at Harold Fannin and I look at, I could take Tyler Warren ahead of him, I could take
48:19Tucker Kraft after him, I could even throw the dice on Sam Laporta or even wait longer if I think that I'm,
48:25you know, going to get a great discount and return on investment on a George Kittle return eventually healthy, and I'll make
48:32do with some other tight end like a Goddard or even Isaiah Likely early on.
48:37Fannin to me is the guy that sticks out, not because of his lack of ability, but because I just don't know
48:43if you can look at these projections and be honest that this is where we're going to go with this player within this team.
48:51It's a new coach. It's a new OC. It's a muddy quarterback situation.
48:54They drafted a bunch of wide receivers. I don't know a damn thing about who the Browns are going to be in
49:012026, and I think anybody who thinks that they do is wrong, and that's my concern is where he's going, not necessarily
49:08the player, so that's my take on Fannin, and then for the other bust too that I was discussing too, I think
49:14the neighbors one still to me, I think this is one that's going to fall off a map eventually.
49:20I think we're just giant nerds who are here early to the game and things haven't caught up yet, but you just
49:27can't possibly keep thinking of Malik Nabors as a top 10 wide receiver, not in talent, but in draft capital.
49:33I mean, it's just absurd, right? And I think the smarter drafts, the sharper drafts you're in, you're going to see this
49:40fall off because the recovery time is going to be there, and then what does he look like when he does get on the field?
49:47Is he going to miss the full six weeks?
49:50Is he going to miss 10 weeks? We don't know, and we don't know what the Giants are going to look like
49:57by the time that happens, so Malik Nabors is an intriguing dynasty buy right now because of the downturn, and you can
50:03even wait for it when it gets in season and people get more frustrated.
50:07You might even get a better take on him and a better discount, but I think in 2026 in redraft, it's just
50:14a really tough investment until you get far beyond the range.
50:17I mean, I'll ask Dave. I mean, Dave, would you rather have Tara McLaurin or Malik Nabors going into this year?
50:24Tara McLaurin. Wait, why do you keep asking Dave?
50:27Because Jamie seems busy. But I was the one who brought you on.
50:30No, I asked Dave because it was Terry McLaurin and he was the guy that originally said McLaurin.
50:36That's why I said it. But Jamie, would you rather have DJ Moore this year or would you rather have Malik Nabors?
50:43Malik Nabors. DJ Moore? See, even if I ask Jamie, Dave answers.
50:46Yeah, I wouldn't have that. No, no, no. I was just telling you who you were trying to compare to DJ Moore.
50:53I actually have a question for you, Joe. You said that Malik Nabors is a great dynasty buy right now.
50:59If you were selling Malik Nabors, what would you be looking to get for Malik Nabors?
51:04That's a great question. I don't want to sell him.
51:07That's the deep answer. It's not a good question.
51:10It's a terrible question. Don't answer it. It's a terrible market.
51:13I'll tell you what. Look, if I'm a team that could win now, I would take the next two years of A.J.
51:19Brown because I think the next two years of A.J.
51:23Brown with Drake May are going to be very good where somebody might be looking for the next five or more of Malik Nabors.
51:30I think that's a deal you could pull off.
51:33It's got to be somebody with a little bit of age, with a shorter window of success, but still one that's going to make an impact.
51:40That would be the kind of trade I'd be looking for.
51:44So if you were selling Malik Nabors, would you sell it for, let's say, Deshaun Stribbling and Antonio Williams?
51:49This feels very close to home, Jamie. By Adam's reaction.
51:52There was a veteran receiver thrown in there. I don't remember what his name was.
51:57Christian Kirk? If we keep revisiting this trade, I'm going to need a few Addison Pearsall lemons to get through the day.
52:04Is this an Adam Azer trade here? I'll go ahead and look up the trade.
52:08I mean, I made a trade. It was two first round picks.
52:12They were picks 11 and 12 and Michael Wilson.
52:15Yeah, this year. But when I made the trade, I didn't know how horrible the draft class was going to be and whatnot.
52:22So I was getting too late. The last two picks of the first round, Michael Wilson and maybe a future second or something like that for Nabors.
52:30And obviously, it looks like it's going to be a pretty bad trade.
52:34You never know. Yeah, you probably know. We haven't done the draft yet because Adam, Joe, you know when rookie drafts mostly happen?
52:41Yes, I do. Usually right after. You know when Adam's rookie drafts happen?
52:45No. When do they happen? Before the draft? No.
52:47We'll do it Monday. It's starting on Monday. That's an interesting choice.
52:51And honestly, I wish I was going to be even later because I really want to see where Stefan digs.
52:57Maybe you could push it until October. I would love to.
53:00I think so. I think we should see these guys in action before we put them on our teams.
53:06I just think, you know. You know why he's doing this, Joe?
53:10Because last year he drafted RJ Harvey before they signed JK Dobbins and he's pissed.
53:14Yeah. I can understand being pissed about that. That's exactly right.
53:18I think the neighbors or McLaurin, neighbors or DJ Moore questions are tough.
53:21I don't think you can really answer that kind of question.
53:25You shouldn't be drafting it because we don't know anything about Malik Nabors' health.
53:29John Harbaugh's been very vague about it. Well, we know he's not healthy though.
53:33That's the thing. But they haven't ruled him out for week one.
53:37They have not ruled him out for week one.
53:40They haven't ruled him in for week one either.
53:42They're playing by week seven. That's where we are.
53:45So, again, it comes down to what you're looking for, what your expectations are.
53:49It's just hard to buy into him right now, especially as we continue to find out, hey, they want to run the ball.
53:56Hey, they want to be a little bit more of this, a little bit more of that.
54:01Like, it doesn't seem like, hey, let's feature Malik Nabors.
54:04I would take him over both DJ Moore and Terry McLaurin.
54:08Jamie, you might know this because, you know, you've got that beautiful mind thing.
54:12How many big-time wide receiver one performances and hardball offenses have we had in 18 years?
54:17Not many. I'm trying to think of one. Did we get a Torrey Smith back in the day?
54:22Did we get one of those? I don't think so.
54:25I mean, he had Bolden and Torrey Smith. You know, we've been chasing the Zay Flowers breakout.
54:31Steve Smith. Okay, Steve Smith probably, right? In the later.
54:34But even then, like, Steve Smith wasn't the Steve Smith that he was.
54:37Right, the best version of him. I'm just saying, like, to Jamie's point, like, it's hardball is a, you know, old-school kind
54:44of coach and, you know, it's a new-school NFL and that's kind of what cost him, I think, the last couple years.
54:51I mean, I'd still give him the benefit of the doubt that if Malik Nabors were healthy, he'd find ways to get Malik Nabors to football.
54:59Oh, absolutely. Because I don't think he had a receiver quite like Malik Nabors, but now you've got me thinking about when
55:05there might have been any wide receiver under, I think there might have been like two under John Harbaugh.
55:11Hold on, hold on. That averaged over 15 PPR points per game.
55:15You got two straight seasons of basically 120 targets for Zay Flowers.
55:18If Malik Nabors, two questions, just answer yes or no.
55:21If Malik Nabors plays more, 17 games, does he get 120 targets?
55:25North of them. Yeah. Yeah. Do you think Terry McLaurin and DJ Moore are getting 120 targets?
55:30Because it is, I mean, I just don't think Malik Nabors is playing a lot of games this year.
55:36I think this year you're getting over 120 targets for both those guys, yes.
55:40All right. Because you almost never get 130 from McLaurin in his career.
55:44120 is usually... True, but again, we have a situation for this year McLaurin and the four of us as the receiving core for the Washington Panthers.
55:52But if they're going to have similar targets, again...
55:55I fully stretched out before the show, Jamie, so I'm ready.
55:58If the targets are going to be similar, I'm going to take Nabors over McLaurin.
56:03I think if it was a healthy Malik Nabors, everybody would, but it's not a healthy Malik Nabors.
56:08So let's just go targets per game and you're saying, let's just say seven and a half per game for each guy.
56:15Then Nabors is healthy, clearly, but... An unhealthy Malik Nabors doesn't create target opportunity at that level.
56:20I have been anti-Nabors. Nor does he separate like we're used to seeing him separate.
56:25And that's the difference is you can't create that separation.
56:28I don't know. I've been anti-Nabors since January, okay?
56:30But if you're drafting Malik Nabors at this point, you're drafting him for what probably his mid-to-late season performance.
56:36Right. I don't necessarily agree. His entire season is.
56:39I mean... Yeah, but it ain't top 10 overall wide receiver.
56:42I mean, you know... No. Miss me with that.
56:45I think there have been... Again, I've been anti-Nabors.
56:48Remember I said somebody drafted him in the first round.
56:51I said, what did I call it? You were very...
56:54Yes, you were the first person I heard to say why are we drafting Malik Nabors?
56:59But I think he's gone a little bit too far.
57:02And there have been enough examples of players who have come back from torn ACLs.
57:06I don't know about ACL plus meniscus. And been really good like Jordy Nelson.
57:10Christian Watson is a great example. What if we get a Christian Watson year from Malik Nabors?
57:15You'll be happy with it if you have Nabors but only if you're drafting him in the right spot.
57:21No, but you're getting... If you get a Malik...
57:24Okay. Christian Watson basically came back and was himself.
57:27Malik Nabors is better than Christian Watson. I know.
57:29If he comes back and is himself then you're going to be so happy to get Malik Nabors in the third or
57:36the fourth round even if you have to miss a few weeks.
57:40I guess... I just think maybe we're going a little bit too far but I also think he's probably the player that
57:46we cannot speak intelligently about more so than any other player.
57:50So we just don't know what his health is what his status is.
57:54To answer Joe's question the only receiver in the John Harbaugh era in Baltimore that averaged more than 15 PPR points per
58:00game was Steve Don't Call Me Torrey Smith 7 games 2015 18.7 PPR points The next highest...
58:05The next... I know he doesn't even qualify The next highest is Zay Flowers last year last year 14.3 Because you just
58:12can't you can't ignore where the league is now Like it's just that's the nature of this beast of the NFL That...
58:19Look man of course you have Malik neighbors you get Malik neighbors the ball My big concern is you don't see healthy
58:25Malik neighbors or enough of healthy Malik neighbors to justify anywhere close to the draft capital it takes to get him right
58:32now I think it's just absurd and I do think that will change because shows like this we're going to yell and
58:39scream about it and I'm going to yell and scream on Fandom NFL about it and eventually people will go oh yeah
58:45you know what that is a little too risky why would I do that and I can take all these other guys
58:52that are going to contribute from week one theoretically and you know my good friend Scott Bachman always says you know football
58:59is hard enough everyone's going to get hurt why the hell are you taking guys that are hurt before we start and
59:05you know what it's a good point it's not it's a good point it's not a great point because sometimes it's not
59:12and you know sometimes they just fall to the right spot and Rasheed Rice look Rasheed Rice was suspended but he was
59:19also coming off season ending knee injury which happened in week four Malik Nabors coming off season ending knee injury which happened
59:25in week four Rice's injury wasn't as bad and he again he was suspended he had even more time to rest but
59:32when he came back he was an absolute league winner so I think if you reach for him then it's terrible you
59:39have to feel great about it I think in a shallower league it's easier to get away with right because you can
59:45find players to plug in more easily while you wait for Malik Nabors to be himself to be great or even to
59:52come back and play but I think I've been a I have been pretty much don't draft guys coming off injuries but
59:59you know how it's you know how like the industry just sort of adapts and adjusts but maybe overcorrects sometimes and I
60:05think that might be happening with we fall in love with talent and forget to we always want to when we see
60:12extraordinary talent I think it's the fan in all of us that wants to automatically think that things are going to be
60:19okay and I think more often than not they're not and I think sometimes that's a hard truth that we just don't
60:25want to you know have that moment where we have that realization of it and it is to me it's all about
60:32the investment you have to make look if he's the 50th wide receiver off the board yeah sure I'll take a flyer
60:39three four turn three four turn in a 12 team league would you take like neighbors there oh no I'm not touching
60:45him on the first 36 guys because there's 36 guys that I can find they're going to play more than him this
60:52year and that's where I'm starting that's my starting point I'm around later with him me too see I understand being around
60:59later with him but if you're picking late you're not getting him at the five six turn right so that's your chance
61:05and this might sound this might sound this is going to sound really bad I'm going to say it anyway I'm sure
61:12you guys play in different types of leagues where you're playing against like great fantasy players and you play in some leagues
61:19where you know you're going to do pretty well because you're playing against casual fantasy players I think if you're playing one
61:25of those casual leagues I think you can be a little riskier with guys like Malik Neighbors take them a little bit
61:32earlier well sure I mean that's why we always say know your league and know what happens you know if there's a
61:39history there and obviously who you're playing with matters but at the same time you know when you're talking about you know
61:45just the two guys that Joe mentioned Terry McLaurin's in such a great spot this year if nobody else is at it
61:52if Jaden Daniel stays healthy but that's not worrying about his knees right now DJ Moore is going to a situation where
61:59he could be the next version of what Stefan Diggs was with Josh Allen and there's no health risk like obviously if
62:05Malik Neighbors is healthy nobody's questioning it even with John Harbaugh's history and maybe Neighbors didn't finish last year like we would
62:12have hoped because he only had really one good game of the three healthy ones that he played Jackson Dart they're going
62:19to run the ball all these things all these questions but like the talent would clearly put him in a spot where
62:25you're like I'm willing to gamble this it's why we've chased Garrett Wilson for the last couple of years because of the
62:32talent you see what he's capable of doing it's why we chase Chris Olave they ain't Malik Neighbors they're not Malik Neighbors
62:38but at the same time when you're talking health that has to be considered clearly we are screaming uphill upstream whatever you
62:45want to say because nobody is paying attention to it based on the early ADP that we're seeing you know Joe's seeing
62:52wide receiver 10 I haven't seen really anything later than wide receiver 15 and still going in round 3 no matter what
62:58we're telling people right now they're still seeing that name and drafting that player we'll see what happens when pup list non-pup
63:05list health non-health wherever he comes out you know if he had that softball video show up again this week nobody would
63:12be drafting that is absolutely in people's minds the people who are low on neighbors are absolutely thinking about that right but
63:18that's also video from a month ago and this is a video happening in late July by late August we don't know
63:25what he's going to be doing if he's full go in practice two weeks before the season and every report says it
63:32looks like the old Malik neighbors you're not even going to get him at the 3-4 turn somebody in every draft will
63:38reach for him that is knowing what he's capable of doing because before this knee injury he was already established as one
63:45of the best athletic talents in the National Football League at wide receiver and certainly would be in a position no matter
63:52who the offensive coordinator is to get a bunch of targets because of just how damn good he is so I think
63:58it's great that we're having this conversation now this is the situation now I don't even think it stays this way no
64:05matter what if he's not practicing a month from now he's going to fall even farther in drafts yeah and yeah if
64:12he starts moving back up I'll be back out on the league neighbors so the fun dance will continue okay I wanted
64:18to do a running back versus wide receiver segment we got about five minutes for it so we'll go quickly here if
64:25I can find it in my notes sorry here we go running back versus wide receivers oh by the way Joe I
64:32have not and probably won't draft Harold Fanning in any leagues right running backs versus wide receivers yeah we ignored the whole
64:38Harold Fanning conversation yeah but it's a great call he shouldn't be good tight end five off the board okay well there
64:45you go no I don't mind him being around there monken's track record with tight ends and the lack of established guys
64:52in Cleveland is too big to ignore yeah so Deshaun Watson's history with tight ends and the two rookies are going to
64:58be much better than the crap that he had last year with running backs running backs both of them running backs versus
65:05wide receivers do you have a Harold Fanning run at him a Harold Fanning what we're about to play one of your
65:12games and is Harold Fanning a player that we're going to talk about well the game is running back versus wide receivers
65:18so I'll let you probably not it's a hard no Dave it's a hard no B.
65:23John Robinson versus Jabbar Chase you each have at most 20 seconds to make your case who you take in Jamie B.
65:30John or Chase B. John taking B. John too but it's like Chase is third for me so yeah exact same boat
65:36as Joe does it change in a three receiver league no no no okay Saquon Barkley versus Drake London I'll take I'll
65:43take Drake I'll take Drake London we're talking full PPR obviously because it's no brainer otherwise it's a no brainer Barkley and
65:50you're saying half PPR it's Barkley half not it's definitely Saquon Barkley over Drake London half PPR I'll still take London I
65:56think I'm I think I'm gonna take Barkley over London even in full PPR okay sounds sounds crazy but I'm a little
66:03worried about London's efficiency if Tua's the quarterback and next we have Arizona Arizona Arizona Arizona rookie running back Jeremiah love Jeremiah
66:10love or if people watching you what you know happened before the show and the controversy over that little sound drop they'd
66:16be just shocked I think I'm gonna play it again but instead everybody's wondering what the they're rewinding to try and hear
66:23what they just heard because they've never heard it before I'm gonna make it louder here we go if you could tell
66:30me in the chat what the love is from then I'd love to never hear that again you win a prize Jeremiah
66:36love versus t higgins this upside versus safety I'll take t i have a safe way to go but i'll tell you
66:43with with love and Travis etn or travis hn versus lad mckonkey who you taking is this like a three person battle
66:50etn versus hn versus mckonkey it's lad for me lad for me too yeah three for three another sweep on that one
66:56it's close though how about former lion versus current lion david montgomery or jameson williams it's already been refuted by the person
67:03who was supposedly reporting it okay that's great because the coaching staff clearly did not love witty marks in i leverage situations
67:10last year and i doubt that's changing after they acquired my it was you're referring to the jane slater report that somebody
67:16i think misquoted so it was like something aggregated from something she said and she i got swift a little higher no
67:23look at you yeah look at me very important i don't know if he's still in the chat but we got this
