George Holani had eight carries for 29 yards but outside of his first carry, the drives were dying with his touches. He had three 'successful runs' and none in the second half. Byron Murphy II notes Holani doesn't have that extra burst or strength to barrel over first-team caliber defenders and isn't very fast. At 40 career NFL carries, he still doesn't have an explosive run. When Jadarian Price is more up to a heavier workload and Zach Charbonnet comes back, Holani's touches should be reduced.

Third-year Seahawks running back George Holani is expected to feature more in the offense, with one of the primary reasons being his elite pass protection skills. GM John Schneider raved about Holani's pass protection after the Super Bowl, calling it 'elite.' Holani demonstrated his pass protection chops in a blitz pickup drill during the first padded practice, and was also featured in pass pro 1-on-1s against Ernest Jones, showcasing the skill that will earn him increased offensive role.

Third-year running back George Holani is expected to feature more prominently in the Seahawks offense. His elite pass protection is a primary reason for the expanded role; GM John Schneider called his playoff pass protection performance 'elite' after the Super Bowl. Holani demonstrated his pass protection skills in Thursday's blitz pickup drill and 1-on-1 pass pro drills. Quarterback Sam Darnold also highlighted Holani's value as a receiving threat: 'especially with a guy like [Jadarian Price] or George [Holani]. We've got a ton of backs in the backfield this year that can make linebackers and safeties miss.'
