Logged another limited session but is still at risk of splitting early work with Bam Knight, creating uncertainty in his workload.PositiveInjuryOct 29, 2026
Love (ankle) returned as a limited participant Wednesday after missing two straight games, a real step toward Arizona getting its 3rd overall pick back on the field; the source leans toward a Week 8 or 9 return with data favoring Week 9 as the more likely date. The source notes 'it's hard not to be optimistic about what Love could do in this unexpectedly competent offense,' though still concerned with load management.NegativeInjuryOct 27, 2026

Love's emergence is the real story in Arizona; he had 21 carries to Allgeier's 2 and also had 5 receptions for 19 yards and a TD. If this usage continues, combined with the offense's overall competency, he could emerge as a league winner.NegativeInjurySep 22, 2026
Still limited by a high-ankle sprain; Tyler Allgeier out-snapped him and has flex value with more upside if Love misses time.NegativeRoleSep 14, 2026
Jeremiyah Love received 11 carries to Allgeier's 17 in Week 1; the ultimate role split is TBD, and most rookie RBs take approximately 3 games to ramp up touches, suggesting patience may be warranted before assessing his workload ceiling.NegativeRoleSep 14, 2026

Rookie Jeremiyah Love scored his first NFL TD in Week 1 for the Cardinals in their upset win over the Rams.NegativeInjurySep 11, 2026
Limited again Thursday with ankle lingering through camp; seen warming up beforehand and trending toward playing in opener. Round-3 back (ADP 31, RB15) with data favoring playing but with dip in touches and efficiency that typically lasts ~4 weeks post-return. Start as flex with tempered expectations.NegativeInjurySep 10, 2026
Dr. Deepak Chona leans toward Love playing but data favors elevated re-injury risk and a dip in touches; being listed as the No. 2 RB strengthens that suspicion of reduced workload.NegativeDepth ChartSep 9, 2026
Love is now officially listed as the No. 2 back behind Tyler Allgeier on Arizona's depth chart, confirming time-share concerns as he manages an ankle injury, though he's still tracking as probable for Sunday; the source expects this depth chart arrangement not to last much into the season.PositiveInjurySep 8, 2026
Jeremiyah Love got the update his drafters wanted, with coach Mike LaFleur calling himself 'optimistic' the rookie plays Sunday against the Chargers after working back from a preseason ankle sprain; if he does play, expect him to still be in a time share with Tyler Allgeier to start the season.PositiveInjurySep 1, 2026
Progressing well from ankle sprain and trending toward Week 1 availability per Arizona's Monday report. Futures Bets expects gradual role increase over first few weeks but views his Week 1 availability as positive; has been one of his most common round 3 picks in recent weeks.PositiveRoleAug 31, 2026

Dr. Deepak Chona: comments imply he passed the first phase of recovery; if true, would imply lower severity than suggested; Week 1 TBD but more promising.NegativeInjuryAug 20, 2026
Jeremiyah Love (ARI, RB) is projected to miss 3-5 weeks. Data favors a dip in efficiency and touches in the first 6 weeks post-return, with re-injury risk around 20% (high) during that window, suggesting a cautious approach to his early-season production.PositiveInjuryAug 18, 2026
High ankle sprain suffered in camp; unlikely to play in preseason with Arizona hoping he's ready for Sept. 13 opener at Chargers. High ankle sprains have a history of sapping efficiency even once a back is active again. The source is taking more round 3 WRs ahead of Love while waiting for a better discount, indicating a downgrade in draft priority despite not dropping him below the next tier of RBs.NegativeInjuryAug 17, 2026
Will miss at least a week with a high ankle sprain after Arizona ran the No. 3 overall pick out there for 14 touches in his preseason debut. High ankle sprains have a history of causing efficiency declines even once back active. Daniel Jones not great on this for a rookie and concerned it's another reason for the Cardinals to slowly ease him in; currently thinking late 3rd round but will test if he falls to 4th.
