0:00We're going to be diving into our quarterback rankings and tiers.
0:02Obviously, we'll be talking strategy in this video as well because it will be very dependent on your league settings and I want to cover those different
0:09outcomes. But, it doesn't matter what your league settings are, 4-point, 6-point passing touchdown league, Josh Allen's going to be the QB1 and he is by
0:16himself. I mean, yes, you can come through and you can say, "Oh, okay, we'll change with the coaching staff."
0:21Not really. I mean, you just have the offensive coordinator going to be the head coach here. So, realistically, the offense should be about the same and
0:29Josh Allen in set offense or even through the years with changing coaches, he's been a top-three quarterback in points per game every single season
0:37since 2020. The QB3, the QB1, the QB3, the QB1, the QB2, the QB1. And if we change this to total fantasy points,
0:44this actually goes to the QB1, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1. And why is that? It's because he plays legitimately every single game.
0:54This man has played at least 16 games a season since 2019. That's '19, '20, '21, '22, '23, '24, '25. That is seven
1:05straight years. So, you know Josh Allen's going to be a top-three quarterback in points per game. You know that Josh Allen's going to play every
1:13single game. And the overall situation, he still has a top offensive line in the league and they add DJ Moore who's a
1:20much better wide receiver than anything he played with last year. So, Josh Allen was my QB in the Flock League. He was
1:26one of the reasons why I finished with the second-best record and earned a buy into the playoffs. And where I would be
1:33targeting Josh Allen in drafts this year, again, will be a little bit dependent on your league settings. If you are looking at our draft sheets, if
1:40you are playing in a format where depth matters a little bit more, the leagues in which depth matters more is if you
1:47have additional flex spots, maybe you start three wide receivers instead of two, 12-team leagues obviously in comparison to eight-team formats, you
1:55will notice that Josh Allen's going to be a little bit lower for us than in those shallow leagues. So, a league like
2:01the Flock League, as an example, where it's a 12-team double flex format, there I'm going to have Josh Allen ranked down
2:08here as a late third round pick at like QB 34. Now, our league is changing to six-point passing touchdown, so I'd
2:15probably move him up closer to about 30, but regardless, he'd be a mid to late third. But, if you were playing in a
2:21shallower format, like let's change these draft sheets to look at a 10-team league with only one flex spot, here you'll see that we would actually jump
2:28Josh Allen up to pick 25. So, he'd be a lot more important in a league like this where running back and wide receiver
2:33depth isn't as important. And also, these quarterbacks are going to be more valuable if you were playing in a non-PPR league. If we look at a non-PPR
2:42format, we're going to be jumping Josh Allen up to 21 because in a non-PPR league, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, they're all going to score
2:50fewer points, but quarterbacks are going to score the same amount. So, non-PPR, you move him higher. Fewer flex spots, you move him higher. And fewer teams in
2:58your league, you move him higher. And then obviously, if you're looking at our superflex draft sheets, you would go ahead and jump him all the way up to
3:05being in an S-tier player like Gibbs and Bijan. But, let's move over to our next tier, leading off with Lamar Jackson.
3:13Lamar was horrendous this past year, right? Both from a real-life perspective and a fantasy perspective, but he started off the year very good. Before
3:21he gets injured in week four, he scored 29, 26, and 27 fantasy points, and he looked like he was replicating what he
3:28did in 2024, when he averaged over 25 points per game, a mark that Josh Allen's never hit, and he was the QB1 in
3:36points per game. But, then he gets injured, he misses this stretch of time, when he comes back from the injury, he
3:42doesn't look right. Now, there's a lot of moving pieces. Coaching staff's going to be different this next season. But, what I always rely upon is I'm always
3:51relying upon what we have from Sportsbook data and right now they are projecting the Baltimore Ravens to be a top five offense in the league. Derrick
3:59Henry is the oldest starting running back in the league, so I think they're probably going to lean on the pass more
4:04than what we've seen in recent years and Lamar is going to bounce back in a big time way.
4:09Now, if y'all been paying attention to our rankings on the site, our draft sheets on the site, you will have noticed that Jayden Daniels did move up
4:16into this tier with Lamar Jackson. Big reason being, you finally have a competent wide receiver two for Daniels.
4:22Now, of course, if we look at this past season, it was injury-riddled. We can't really take much away from it in the
4:28same way that we look at Lamar Jackson's year. But if we go back to his rookie season in these final five weeks that he
4:36fully started, he scored at least 23 points in every single game and he scored over 30 points in three of them.
4:43He had averaged 20.9 fantasy points per game as a rookie. Not only do you have Terry McLaurin, but now you actually
4:50have some wide receiver depth with Stefon Diggs coming in as well. So, I think Daniels could be a QB3 here. Now,
4:57I will say, if you're playing in a six-point passing touchdown format, you're going to move up the quarterbacks that throw the ball more than run,
5:04obviously. For a four-point passing touchdown league, rushing is king as you'll see with these ranks. But regardless, if you need help making the

6:01We're going to have Drake May here at four. With Drake May, it's tough to rank him this low because he was the QB2 in
6:08fantasy this past season. And on top of this, now you have A.J. Brown. You have Romeo Dobbs. You have a better wide receiver
6:16room this year than you did last. But again, I am a sucker for sports book data.
6:23And right now, if you look at sports books, they have two offenses regressing in a big-time way year over year. You
6:31have the New England Patriots projected to regress and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
6:37So, if I'm looking at those two offenses, I do think I need to be baking in um somewhat of a discount with these
6:43names. And I think mainly with the Patriots, the reason being is going to be their schedule this season is significantly tougher than what we've
6:51seen in the past. Now, in terms of where I'd be looking to draft these quarterbacks here in the A and B tier, I
6:57think these guys like Drake May, Lamar, Daniels um Lamar and Daniels in your shallower leagues, I'd be taking them in round five. The B tier quarterbacks I'd
7:04be looking at in round six. Now, this is very dependent on your league settings.
7:09For four-point passing touchdown leagues, I think I'm going to prefer Jalen Hurts over Joe Burrow. Now, that is not to say that Jalen Hurts is a
7:16better quarterback than Joe Burrow. I know a lot of people absolutely hate Jalen Hurts. And I'm not here whether to weigh in on if he's a good real-life
7:23quarterback, bad real-life quarterback, blah blah blah. Cuz frankly, I don't think it matters. Because for me, fantasy football perspective, this dude
7:31is a crusher. He plays at least 15 games every year ever since he's been the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, he's been at the
7:39very minimum like a mid QB1 in fantasy.
7:42and we've seen the ceiling of him averaging 25 points per game, 21 points per game. This past year was a significant step backwards for Jalen
7:51Hurts and I think a lot of it had to do with the offensive coordinator. But now you have the change with the offensive
7:56coordinator, sports books are projecting the Philadelphia Eagles to be a better offense this year than they were last.
8:02So, I'm going to buy the bounce back with Jalen Hurts now. If I was in a six-point passing touchdown league, which the Flock league is this year,
8:10then in that style format, I'm going to prefer Joe Burrow over Jalen Hurts because Burrow's just simply going to have way more passing touchdowns. Like
8:17you're going to get a ton of passing volume here. The rushing upside doesn't exist though. Like Joe Burrow over the past three seasons has had a total of
8:25two rushing touchdowns and this past season he averaged five rushing yards per game. The offensive line's pretty bad in Cincinnati, but it doesn't
8:33matter. Burrow's dealt with that for years and he's still been a top quarterback in fantasy. Again, I will probably be moving Joe Burrow for those
8:40six-point touchdown leagues, like the Flock league is this year, probably as high as an A-tier quarterback and definitely ahead of Jalen Hurts and
8:48Drake May. It's just for your four-point passing touchdown formats, the rushing upside and the rushing touchdowns May and Hurts give you do vault them over
8:57Joe Burrow, but it's more of a scoring gimmick than anything. Caleb Williams is going to be our next quarterback. I think you could make an argument to put
9:04Caleb in a tier below. He's going to be missing out on DJ Moore year over year, but with that in mind, you do have the
9:11ascension of Luther Burden going into year two, hopefully healthy Rome Odunze in year three, and you have Colson Loveland going into year two as well.
9:19The Chicago Bears offense does project to be primarily flat year over year according to sports books. If we look at the rushing upside of Caleb Williams, it
9:28hasn't been anything crazy so far as in his NFL career. Like he's had a total of three rushing touchdowns through two
9:35seasons. I believe though he had double-digit rushing touchdowns at USC.
9:39So, the hope that you would have for Caleb Williams to vault himself up to being like an S-tier or an A-tier level
9:46quarterback would be if he can unlock some of the rushing that he had back in college. But, he looks like a super
9:52dynamic passer, especially with the big plays. Now, all of these quarterbacks in the B-tier and above would be QBs that if I draft them, I'm not taking a
10:02second. If I draft Jayden Daniels, if I draft Lamar Jackson, I mean, obviously if you're in superflex, it's different.
10:08Or if you're in a super deep league and you know your league mates are all going to take two, by all means you can. But,
10:13I probably wouldn't if I had a top seven guy. Starting with Dak Prescott though, I think this is where I'd begin to look
10:20at two quarterback builds where I can play the matchups between both of them.
10:24Dak Prescott, very consistent passer in terms of volume. This is very similar to the Joe Burrow instance. The rushing upside, not really going to be existent
10:34over the past what, five seasons? The dude has a total of seven rushing touchdowns. So, you're getting about one rushing touchdown a year from Dak
10:42Prescott, one and a half rushing touchdowns a season. But, very easily he could lead the NFL in both passing yards and passing touchdowns with a
10:51combination of CD Lamb, George Pickens.
10:53This offense projects to be one of the best offenses in the league. So, Dak Prescott in your 6-point passing touchdown formats will vault some of
11:02these other guys like Jalen Hurts, Caleb Williams.
11:05But, similar to Burrow that in your 4-point passing touchdown leagues, he's just not going to run the ball. Justin Herbert should be a much better fantasy
11:12quarterback this year than what we had last. Last year, Justin Herbert was the QB 11 in points per game. The year
11:18prior, he was the QB 13. The year before that, QB 12. The year before that, QB 15. So, for four straight seasons now,
11:26Justin Herbert's just been a matchup-based quarterback. You would want to roster like Herbert and Brock Purdy and play whoever had the better
11:34match-up between the two.
11:36However, with the change with the coaching staff, with McDaniel coming in being a much better offensive coordinator than what we have seen
11:43previously for Justin Herbert in Los Angeles, I do think this is going to unlock the next level for Herbert in fantasy on top of the offensive line
11:53being significantly improved with both tackles coming back, the investments they made into the interior side of the offensive line, and even if they don't
12:00have Keenan Allen, honestly, I don't think that matters for Herbert's production year over year. Now, at QB 10, we are going to have Patrick
12:06Mahomes. Last season, he was the quarterback four in points per game. He has finished lower than the QB 10 only twice in his NFL career, and obviously,
12:16years back, we saw the ceiling for Patrick Mahomes to run away as the QB 1 in fantasy, and nobody else was remotely
12:23close.
12:24Now, this season in particular, though, for Mahomes, couple different things working against him. One, he finally has a competent running back with Kenneth
12:33Walker in KC. This probably does skew the Kansas City Chiefs to be a little bit more run-heavy. And two, while Patrick Mahomes was a phenomenal
12:42quarterback in fantasy last season, a lot of that did come based on him having 30 rushing yards per game.
12:49Is the expectation for him to have 30 rushing yards per game this year? No, he's coming off a torn ACL. He's
12:55actually already said that he's probably going to be a little bit little limited running the football. So, here with Mahomes, I think we have to bake in the
13:03fact that we are going to have some regression, but still, I think it would be silly to not rank him as a top 10 QB.
13:10Now, these guys eight through 10, I wouldn't fault you for drafting only one of them and then playing the waiver wire
13:17if you needed to for a bye week or maybe if like Mahomes is a horrible match-up against Denver and you want to start a
13:23quarterback for a single week as a streamer, but QBs in the D tier and below, for me personally, I do think
13:31that you need to draft two of them. Like Trevor Lawrence was a league winner in the second half of the year. Week 15,
13:37this dude dropped 44 fantasy points.
13:39Week 16, he dropped 31. And then, I mean, over this, like, what, final six game stretch, he didn't have a week with
13:46lower than 19.4.
13:48Like, Trevor Lawrence was incredible.
13:51But, with Lawrence, we do need to acknowledge the fact that the Jacksonville Jaguars project to be a much worse offense this year, according
14:00to sportsbooks, than they did last. I've looked at a lot of offensive line stuff as well. Offensive line data providers are telling us that the Jags O-line will
14:09be slightly worse as well. I think Lawrence still a top 12 quarterback, still somebody I'd be excited to take, but I would need to take him late, and I
14:17would want to draft two and avoid him in the tough matchups like the Houston Texans, and play him in the positive
14:23matchups. Now, Jackson Dart, we're going to have here at 12. Um, Dart in the weeks that he started, he was really
14:29good, but a lot of it came with him running recklessly, to be honest. Like, I'm afraid the new coaching staff coming
14:37in's going to ask Jackson Dart to run the ball a little bit less than what we saw his rookie season. But, to be fair
14:44to Dart, he's going to have a much better weapon with Malik Nabers than he had previously. Brock Purdy is going to
14:50be our next quarterback at 13. Um, with San Francisco, I the substations taking out every single one of their guys.
14:57At this point, um, Brock Purdy may be throwing the ball to Nathan Schmidt by the time we get to week three if the
15:04Niners can't stay healthy, but realistically, Brock Purdy, when he was healthy himself last year, he was like a league-winning quarterback in the final
15:11three weeks. I mean, in the playoff weeks, he averaged over 30 fantasy points per game. He was at 19.7 points per game this past season. He's been a
15:19top 10 quarterback in fantasy every year. He may not have the same ceiling as what you're going to get with like a
15:24Hurts, Mahomes, a Burrow, Caleb Williams, but from a consistency perspective, he's like a great guy to have to play with the matchups. Again,
15:33like if you were to draft Purdy and Kyler, Kyler Murray, if we ignore this past season whenever obviously only played five games, was injured, blah
15:41blah blah.
15:432019 through 2024, that was a six-season stretch where he was a top-12 quarterback in fantasy every single year of his NFL career.
15:51And now you get Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson, a really good coaching staff in Minnesota. So, it's a phenomenal situation for Kyler Murray.
16:01Like these D-tier quarterbacks, I know it seems like we're ranking them very low, but I'm excited about all of these guys. Going over to Bo Nix, he gets to
16:09play behind the best offensive line in the league. The reports coming off the ankle surgery make it seem like he's good to go with zero limitations. And
16:17you get Jaylen Waddle going over to Denver. Matthew Stafford's coming off an MVP season where he was the QB3 in points per game. Now, I'll say the year
16:26prior he averaged 13 points per game.
16:28That's the risk that you have with these quarterbacks that aren't going to run the ball, but still Stafford, really high-upside player with Puka and Davante
16:35Adams. And then we have Jared Goff who's just super consistent. Like I would say Goff is maybe one of these quarterbacks
16:43that's great for your superflex league.
16:45Like if you can take him as your QB2 in superflex, but I don't know if he has the ceiling to be a top-five quarterback
16:50in a regular one-QB format. I mean, Stafford and Goff, they're much more exciting in a six-point passing touchdown league than a four-point
16:57passing touchdown one cuz obviously they're not going to run the ball at all. Like Stafford in a six-point passing touchdown format would be up
17:03here as a borderline top-10 QB for me, which is where I'd expect him to go in the Flock league. Now, moving down to
17:09the E-tier, we have Jordan Love. I would be worried if Jordan Love was my QB1.
17:13Like I would say that anybody in E-tier beyond with love, Baker, Tyler Shough, Malik Willis. These guys have upside, don't get me wrong, but they have severe
17:23downside as well. I would only want one of these quarterbacks if I like, say, took Patrick Mahomes at the end of my
17:29draft and then I also grabbed Jordan Love in the second to last round to play in case Mahomes started off slow or in
17:36the horrible Mahomes matchups. Then going over to our next tier with Cam Newton, Sam Darnold, C.J. Stroud, Daniel Jones, Bryce Young. These are only
17:44quarterbacks that should be relevant in superflex leagues, in 14-team plus leagues, and best ball formats. But in your regular 10-team or 12-team fantasy
17:55league, these will be waiver wire quarterbacks. And the same exact thing with the bottom tier of guys that we have with Mendoza, Rodgers, Geno,
18:03Brissett, Tua, as well as Shaddur. I mean, hell, we don't even know if Tua and Shaddur are going to be starters in
18:08their own offense.
