Calvin Ridley

NegativeBust0:21

Ridley was drafted as WR3 in a bottom-five offense and ended up unusable; the source's model successfully avoided him. This exemplifies the core thesis: WRs in bottom-five offenses have historically finished as top-24 options only 27% of the time (30 of 110 WR1s over 22 years) and zero have ever finished as top-six.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeValue12:20

Chris Bell has an ADP of 142 in ESPN leagues. Flock Fantasy explicitly recommends avoiding him, though notes it's not catastrophic if drafted.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeBreakout0:30

Olave was one of the rare exceptions to the bottom-five offense WR rule; despite the model flagging him as avoid, he ended up absolutely smashing. The source attributes this success primarily to health—he stayed healthy and didn't deal with concussions. The source characterizes this as an outlier and notes that hitting on him was somewhat lucky, as historical data shows zero WRs in bottom-five offenses have finished as top-six options.

Insight page

Cordarrelle Patterson

PositiveValue22:22

Going at WR29. Flock Fantasy is comfortable drafting Patterson at that ADP. While the Titans technically project as the sixth-worst offense, they represent a significant tier jump above the bottom five offenses in scoring projection, making Patterson's draft cost reasonable relative to his opportunity.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveValue0:18

Wilson has WR18 ADP across platforms and is going at pick 31 in ESPN drafts (middle of third round). The source argues third-round pricing is "absolutely brutal" given the Jets project as second-to-worst offense in the league and Wilson faces target competition from Omar Cooper and Kinyon Seddiq (both round-one pass catchers). Wilson's NFL history shows he has never cracked 15 PPG in bad offenses. The source identifies the more appropriate price as middle of fourth round (Yahoo pricing). At fourth-round cost, the source likes Wilson if the Jets become an average offense, which could yield top-10 WR upside; but third-round selection is strongly discouraged. The source especially recommends avoiding Wilson in the third round and would need him to wait until the very end of the fourth in leagues with only two WR and one flex starter.

Insight page

Jakobi Meyers

NegativeBust0:29

Meyers was flagged by the source's model as a WR to avoid in a bottom-five offense. The model's historical analysis shows that WRs in bottom-five offenses have less than 30% chance of finishing as top-24 options and zero chance of being top-six.

Insight page

Jalen Nailor

NegativeValue13:08

Raiders' first WR off the board at WR62. Flock Fantasy frames him as a waiver-wire pickup with conditional upside if Fernando Mendoza takes over at QB midseason. Raiders wide receivers are appropriately not being overdrafted and should only be considered in Underdog best-ball formats.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

NegativeBust0:12

Jeudy was drafted as WR3 in 2024 but finished meaningless. The source's predictive model based on 20+ years of data successfully flagged him as undraftable due to playing in a bottom-five offense. Historical data shows only 30% of WR1s in bottom-five offenses finish as top-24 options, and zero finish as top-six.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeBust0:17

Nabers was a round-one pick WR in 2024 but played in a bottom-five offense; the source's model flagged him as avoid. Despite arguments that he had a record-setting rookie year with the worst possible QB room, the source counters that the model's data-driven approach correctly identified the floor risk and red flags. Historical data shows WRs in bottom-five offenses have less than 30% chance of finishing as top-24 options and zero chance of being top-six.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveValue4:18

Marvin Harrison Jr. finished as WR4 in back-to-back seasons (WR42 PPG in 2024, WR41 PPG in 2025) but is being drafted at pick 59 on ESPN (round 5), which the source calls "ludicrous" given he's projected to be in the worst offense in the NFL with no WR1 upside and has never finished as a top-36 player. However, he's a "completely fine pick" at pick 75 on Sleeper or pick 72 on Yahoo (round 7), where consensus ADP is pick 66 (WR31). The source recommends avoiding round 5 on ESPN but allows him in round 7 of Yahoo and Sleeper drafts.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveValue6:25

Michael Wilson finished as a top-2 WR in weeks 11–18 and top-3 WR in the second half of 2025, yet has an ADP of WR40 consensus. He's going at pick 96 on ESPN, pick 94 on Yahoo, and pick 100 on Underdog, which the source describes as surprisingly smart drafting. The source is "more excited" about Wilson in Best Ball formats and leagues with multiple flex spots, where the high ceiling matters more than in standard redraft leagues with limited WR slots.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveValue10:19

Round-one pass catcher competing for targets on Jets. Flock Fantasy recommends avoiding Omar Cooper in Yahoo, ESPN, and Sleeper drafts entirely, but identifies Underdog as a platform exception: taken as WR6 in Underdog, if he emerges as WR3, represents significant value. Treat him as a watch-list/waiver-wire option rather than a draft pick in major platforms.

Insight page

Terrace Marshall

PositiveValue22:48

Flock Fantasy is comfortable drafting Terrace Marshall, citing the same tier-gap logic as Cordarrelle Patterson: while the Panthers project as the seventh-worst offense, they represent a meaningful step up from the bottom five offenses, justifying his draft cost.

0:00I've done the research so you don't have
0:01to. Over 20 years of fantasy football
0:05finishes to easily come away with the
0:07list of five or six guys that are not
0:10draftable. This same data last year had
0:12us avoiding Jerry Jeudy who was drafted
0:15as a wide receiver three. He was
0:17meaningless. Malik Neighbors who was a
0:18round one pick, Garrett Wilson who was
0:21going in the third. It avoided Calvin
0:23Ridley who was getting drafted as a wide
0:25receiver three and obviously he was
0:27unusable. Jakobi Meyers and then Chris
0:30Olave was one wide receiver that the
0:32data said to avoid that ended up
0:34absolutely smashing mainly because
0:37obviously he stayed healthy and didn't
0:38deal with the concussions. But if you go
0:40back and look at the video in which I
0:42told y'all not to draft these guys like
0:44Garrett Wilson, Jerry Jeudy, or Calvin
0:47Ridley, the overwhelming sentiment in
0:49the comment section was sports books
0:52don't know what they are doing. They
0:53don't know how to project out offenses
0:56that are going to finish at the top of
0:57the league first the bottom of the
0:59league. We have I think you are
1:01underestimating how big of an upgrade
1:03Russell Wilson is over Daniel Jones.
1:05Well, that top comment didn't age well.
1:07A Malik had a record-setting rookie year
1:09with the worst possible quarterback
1:11room. It could never be worse than it
1:12was last year. No way I'm fading him.
1:14Raiders projecting to be the sixth worst
1:16offense is completely ignoring all the
1:18moves they made. They won't be elite
1:20necessarily, but they'll be closer to a
1:21top 15 team than a bottom five. Then of
1:24course the Raiders are the worst offense
1:25in the league and if you would have
1:27listened to me and sports books, you
1:29would have realized that the floor was
1:30incredibly low and there were red flags
1:32all over the place. I want to go through
1:34and explain my thought process here and
1:36explain all the data. So if we go back
1:39since 2004
1:41and track every offense that has
1:43finished as a bottom five offense in the
1:46NFL in points per game and track where
1:48that wide receiver finished in fantasy
1:51football that was their top name, we
1:53will come away with some striking
1:54results because we can look at 110 wide
1:58receiver ones during this sample. And
2:00out of those 110, keep in mind, that's
2:0322 years, we've only had 58 of them be
2:07wide receiver threes or better. That's
2:09the top 36 name. We've only had 30 of
2:11them be top 24 wide receivers or better,
2:14and we've only had four of them managed
2:17to be a top 12 option. Of course, one of
2:19those guys was Chris Olave this past
2:21season. Congrats if you hit on him. In
2:23reality, my opinion, it was an outlier
2:26and you maybe got lucky. But the most
2:27striking data that we can take away here
2:30is zero wide receivers from this data
2:33set finished as a top six option. So, if
2:37you are going to be a wide receiver in a
2:39bottom-five offense in the NFL, you have
2:42no chance at being an elite wide
2:44receiver in fantasy, and more likely
2:46than not, you're not even going to be a
2:48top 24 guy. You have less than a 30%
2:51chance of that happening. So, what I do
2:53every year is I go and look at what
2:55sportsbooks are telling us are going to
2:58be the worst offenses in the league, and
3:01I want to make sure that I am avoiding
3:03those wide receivers. Again, every year
3:05in the comment section, we have people
3:07saying like, "Oh, I mean, how often are
3:09sportsbooks actually right?" Last year,
3:11the offenses they projected to be in the
3:13bottom five, the Raiders were there, we
3:15fly that, the Browns were there, the
3:17Titans were there, the Jets were there,
3:18and the Saints were there. So, every
3:20offense sportsbooks said was going to be
3:22a bottom-six offense last season, they
3:24finished as a bottom-five offense in the
3:26league. Duh, sportsbooks know what they
3:28are doing. They have all the
3:29information, all the data at their
3:30disposal, and we should be taking their
3:32data, and we should be using it in our
3:34fantasy drafts. So, let's go through and
3:36let's look at who they project to be the
3:37worst offenses in the NFL this season,
3:40and talk about their wide receiver
3:42rooms. Full transparency, some of these
3:44guys are very cheap, and some of them I
3:45think you are completely fine to draft.
3:47Now, the worst offensive projection that
3:49we have currently this season, which you
3:51can see all these projections on
3:53flockfantasy.com, just go to the post
3:54page, is going to be the Arizona
3:56Cardinals. Now, this was a surprise to
3:58me, and I'll be honest, when we first
4:00tracked this data a couple months ago,
4:02the worst projection offense was
4:03actually the Cleveland Browns, but since
4:05then you've had the holdout with Jacoby
4:07Brissett, now you have some
4:08off-the-field stuff with investigation
4:10in the Arizona, and I guess sportsbooks
4:12are lower on the Cardinals than they've
4:13ever been. The Cardinals projected only
4:15score 18 and 1/2 points per game this
4:18next season. Which if we go through and
4:20if we look at where this was in
4:22comparison to the Arizona Cardinals last
4:23season, this is about 2 and 1/2 points
4:25per game fewer. So obviously,
4:27sportsbooks are projecting that they get
4:29worse. And let's go through and let's
4:30look at where their wide receivers are
4:32getting drafted because the big concern
4:34I always have with these garbage
4:35projections will be are their wide
4:38receivers getting drafted as a top 24
4:42name, right? Because sometimes they're
4:44cheap, you can go through, take the
4:45shot, and if the offense is better than
4:47people expect it to be, then obviously
4:49you have room to go to the upside
4:51because these sports book calls, while
4:52they were 100% accurate last season,
4:55that's not going to be the case every
4:56year. And right now with Marvin Harrison
4:58Jr. specifically, he's coming off
5:00back-to-back seasons finishing as a wide
5:02receiver four in fantasy, the wide
5:04receiver 42 in points per game his
5:06rookie year, the wide receiver 41 in
5:08points per game in 2025. If you're using
5:10flockfantasy.com and looking at the
5:12consensus ADP sheet, you'll see that he
5:14has an ADP of pick 66 off the board as
5:17wide receiver 31. I mean, if we're
5:19looking at different platforms,
5:21obviously it's more expensive on some,
5:22cheaper on others. Like right now in
5:24your ESPN draft, he's going at pick 59.
5:27In my opinion, taking a wide receiver
5:29that's never finished as a top 36 guy
5:31that is projected out to be in the worst
5:33offense in the NFL, which we've seen
5:35that data say they don't have wide
5:37receiver one upside, taking him in round
5:39five seems ludicrous. I know the name
5:41appeal, I understand the talent, but
5:43round five is just damn expensive.
5:45However, if you're going through and if
5:47you're looking at other platforms like
5:48Sleeper, he's going in the seventh
5:50round. He has an ADP of pick 75 there.
5:53And on Yahoo, he's also going at 72. So,
5:56for me, I think Marvin Harrison is a
5:58completely fine pick if we are talking
6:01Sleeper Yahoo drafts where you're able
6:03to get him in the seventh round. But, if
6:05you had to take him in the fifth, I
6:06wouldn't do that. If you're looking at
6:08us flockfantasy.com average ranking,
6:11there he has an average ranking of pick
6:1266. So, again, if you're using our draft
6:15sheets, it would recommend that you're
6:16taking him in the seventh if you wanted
6:19to get a decent value on him in those
6:21Sleeper and Yahoo drafts. Now, there is
6:23another wide receiver that we need to
6:25talk about in Arizona. Somebody that I
6:26actually drafted a ton last year. And
6:29last year we actually profited about
6:3027,000 in drafts. A big reason why it
6:33was Michael Wilson. Now, in your regular
6:35redraft league, Michael Wilson was a
6:37wide receiver that just came randomly
6:39off the waiver wire that you could start
6:40at the end of the season. But, I had
6:42actually drafted him in a ton of
6:43Underdog Best Ball drafts. really
6:45excited to get that breakout in the
6:46second half of the year. However, if
6:48we're looking at where Michael Wilson's
6:49currently getting drafted after
6:51finishing as a top two wide receiver in
6:53fantasy in weeks 11 through 18. Go to
6:56the player comparison on
6:57flockfantasy.com. Look at his weeks 1
6:59through 10 versus weeks 11 through 18.
7:01He was a top three wide receiver in
7:03fantasy football in the second half of
7:05the season. I am surprised to see how
7:07smart fantasy drafters are at the
7:09moment. Because instead of Michael
7:11Wilson being drafted anywhere close to a
7:13top 20 guy, he has an ADP right now wide
7:16receiver 40. I mean, in Sleeper drafts,
7:19he's pretty expensive. He's going in the
7:21seventh round there. But, in ESPN
7:23drafts, he has an ADP at 96. And Yahoo
7:25drafts, he has an ADP of 94. Hell, in
7:28Underdog drafts, he has an ADP of pick
7:30100. And keep in mind, in my opinion,
7:32he's like the perfect wide receiver for
7:34Best Ball. Now, I'll be honest, if
7:36you're in your regular Yahoo league and
7:38you only start two wide receivers and
7:39one flex, when we get down here to like
7:42wide receiver 40, 41, 42 in drafts, it's
7:45probably not going to make a difference,
7:46right? Just because it's a such a high
7:49threshold for a player to actually hit
7:50your starting lineup, that this is a
7:52player that I'm more excited about in a
7:54league in which you start multiple flex
7:55spots, or maybe you start three wide
7:57receivers. Now, of course, if you just
7:59want to make sure that you are making
8:00all the correct adjustments to your
8:02exact league settings and your exact
8:04draft platform, we have over 50 draft
8:07sheets posted on flockfantasy.com.
8:09You put in your exact league settings,
8:11the exact draft platform you're on, and
8:13you are going to get those tailor-made
8:14adjustments to those rankings set for
8:17you to dominate your drafts this year.
8:19On top of that, if you're a member of
8:20flockfantasy.com, you're going to get
8:22those real-time draft assistance for
8:24your sleeper, your ESPN, your Yahoo
8:26drafts as well. If you're not already a
8:28member of the flock, you can find the
8:29link in the description as well as the
8:31comment section. The season pass is
8:33still available for only $34 right now,
8:36and if you sign up with code flock,
8:37you're going to get free starts set and
8:39trade questions that you can ask me
8:40during the season as well. Now, let's
8:42move over to the New York Jets. So, the
8:44Jets project to be the second-to-worst
8:46offense in the league. Now, yes, I
8:48understand people are going to go down
8:49in the comment section, and they're
8:50going to say, "Oh, no, Geno Smith's
8:52really good. Don't you know?" Just like
8:54they made an argument for the Raiders to
8:55be good last year, even though sports
8:57books know more than you do, they know
8:59more than I do, and they're telling us
9:00that the Jets are going to be the
9:01second-to-worst offense in the league.
9:03And this is where I get scared. Because
9:05again, going back to the data that we
9:07have already showed y'all, if you're a
9:10wide receiver that's in a bottom-five
9:12offense, you have a 27% chance of
9:15finishing as a top-24 wide receiver, and
9:18only a 3% chance as finishing as a
9:21top-12 option. So, effectively, you're
9:24in a bottom-five offense at the wide
9:25receiver position, GG's, you're not
9:27going to be a top-12 player, and also,
9:30you're not even guaranteed to be a
9:32top-24 name. And we go over and look at
9:34Garrett Wilson. Right now, his average
9:36ADP across all platforms is the wide
9:38receiver 18. He's going in the middle of
9:40the third round in ESPN drafts with an
9:42ADP of pick 31. I think taking Garrett
9:45Wilson in an offense that's going to be
9:46this bad with the additional target
9:48competition of Omar Cooper, as well as
9:50the additional target competition of
9:52Kinyon Seddiq, both round one pass
9:54catchers, it's brutal. I I can't imagine
9:56taking Garrett Wilson in this offensive
9:58environment in the third. We've seen
10:00Garrett Wilson for a large stretch of
10:02his NFL career be in a really bad
10:04offense, and he's never cracked 15
10:06points per game. And we go over and we
10:08look at other draft platforms. I think
10:10the more appropriate price for Garrett
10:12Wilson is the middle of the fourth
10:13round. At least that's where he's
10:15currently going in Yahoo drafts, right?
10:16If you take him in the middle of the
10:17fourth, especially the end of the
10:19fourth, I like that because from a
10:20talent perspective, if the Jets somehow
10:24manage to be an average offense this
10:26season, which that's not what the
10:27projections are saying, then I could see
10:29Garrett Wilson finishing as a top 10
10:31wide receiver, and that's in the range
10:32of outcomes. But, again, round three for
10:35Wilson would just be absolutely brutal.
10:37And then, as we go over and look at Omar
10:39Cooper, while I do think that he is
10:40going to have a role here for the New
10:42York Jets, I wouldn't draft Omar Cooper
10:44at all in your Yahoo draft, in your ESPN
10:47draft, in your Sleeper draft. I think
10:49he's an incredible pick in like an
10:50Underdog draft cuz you take him as a
10:51wide receiver six. If he turns out to be
10:53a wide receiver three, then that's a
10:55pretty big hit. But, this is going to be
10:57somebody that you throw on your watch
10:58list if you like, and you would go
10:59through and you would pick him up off
11:01the waiver wire if anything. Now, let's
11:03move over to our next offense that we
11:05need to discuss, and we're going to be
11:06pretty short here because the Cleveland
11:08Browns don't have anybody being drafted
11:10highly at all. Ka'Cey Concepcion is the
11:13number one wide receiver for the
11:14Cleveland Browns, and he is going off
11:16the board as wide receiver 52. In
11:19Sleeper drafts at the moment, he has an
11:20ADP of pick 144. So, very similar to
11:23Omar Cooper, people are looking at this
11:25Brown situation, and they're going,
11:27"Well, yeah, Ka'Cey Concepcion has the
11:29talent profile. They aren't drafting
11:31him. He's a waiver wire player or he's
11:34somebody that you take in the
11:35double-digit rounds. I'll say in ESPN,
11:37you actually have to make a real
11:39investment into him where there he's
11:40going at pick 98. But even though the
11:42data says that the wide receivers from
11:44these bottom offenses are screwed,
11:46again, it all comes down to cost. If you
11:48can draft K.C. Conception in the last
11:51round of your draft, second-to-last
11:52round of your draft, somehow, some way,
11:54the quarterback play ends up being okay
11:56in Cleveland and the Browns are a
11:58middle-of-the-road offense, I could see
11:59Conception being a low-end wide receiver
12:01too. So, I'm fine with you grabbing him
12:03at the very end of your draft. I'm not
12:04really too concerned based on this data
12:06because it seems like the market, they
12:08already understand this with the Browns
12:10and he is being heavily discounted. Now,
12:12going over to the Miami Dolphins, it's
12:13the same exact scenario here. I'm not
12:15going to be able to sit here and tell
12:17you, like, "Oh my gosh, Miami's going to
12:19be really bad. So, you know what you
12:20should do?" You should avoid every Miami
12:23Dolphins wide receiver. Well, the first
12:25Miami Dolphins wide receiver off the
12:27board in fantasy drafts at the moment
12:29goes at wide receiver 79. You're not
12:31going to see a single wide receiver get
12:33selected in your fantasy draft from
12:35Miami, which I think probably should be
12:38the case. Obviously, in an underdog best
12:40ball draft, cool, call your shot at the
12:42end, take somebody in round 18. But in
12:44your regular ESPN, Sleeper, Yahoo
12:46league, don't take any of these Miami
12:48players. I guess Chris Bell has an ADP
12:49of 142 in ESPN leagues. Don't take Chris
12:52Bell, but I don't think it's the end of
12:54the world if you do. Now, going over to
12:56the Raiders, very similar to what we
12:58have with the Cleveland Browns and the
13:01Miami Dolphins. Like the Raiders at the
13:03moment obviously have some top names
13:05like Bowers as well as Gentry, but their
13:07first wide receiver off the board is
13:09Jaylen Nailor, wide receiver 62. So,
13:11people are going, "Okay, he's a waiver
13:13wire pick. If he pops off early and
13:15maybe Fernando Mendoza uh really takes
13:18over halfway through the season and then
13:19all of a sudden he looks great, you
13:21could pick him up for the second half
13:22stretch." But none of these Raiders wide
13:24receivers are getting drafted anyway,
13:26which I do think is the appropriate
13:27action by the market, and you would only
13:29ever consider them in an underdog best
13:31ball draft. So, the Browns, Dolphins,
13:32Raiders, while technically they're on
13:34this list, it's not like their wide
13:35receivers are being over drafted. Now,
13:37something that does scare me a bit would
13:39be the Tennessee Titans technically
13:41coming in here as the sixth worst
13:42projection, as well as the Carolina
13:44Panthers. They're currently tied with a
13:46projection of 20.7
13:49points per game this next year, but if
13:51you really look at these projections
13:54stacked up, the Tennessee Titans project
13:57to score a point and a half more per
13:58game than what you have with the Raiders
14:01for the difference between the fifth
14:02worst offense and the sixth worst
14:03offense of the projections. And if we
14:05actually carry that point and a half
14:07over for the Tennessee Titans, I mean,
14:09you have to go up to like the 21st
14:12projected offense with the Denver
14:13Broncos. So, there's a pretty big tier
14:16gap between the bottom five offenses
14:18with projections this year, and then all
14:20the other teams. So, I'm actually fine
14:22drafting Cordarrelle Tate with where he
14:24goes. Like at the moment, Cordarrelle
14:26Tate's off the board wide receiver 29.
14:28I'm actually okay with drafting Terrace
14:30Marshall and McMillan. I actually love
14:31the Tate pick. He's going at wide
14:33receiver 17. And because, while
14:35technically these project to be the
14:36sixth and seventh worst offenses in the
14:38league, they're a pretty large step up
14:40from the bottom five teams. So, all in
14:42all, I know we just threw a ton of data
14:44at y'all. The main thing I want you to
14:46be worrisome of is in your ESPN leagues,
14:48don't take Marvin Harrison in the fifth
14:50round. You're fine to take him in round
14:52seven in your Yahoo drafts. You're fine
14:54to take him in round seven of your
14:55sleeper drafts. And I would especially
14:58avoid Garrett Wilson in the third round
15:00of your fantasy drafts this year. I
15:02would need him to wait until the very
15:04end of the fourth if you're playing in
15:05those leagues where you only start two
15:06wide receiver one flex. If you're
15:08playing in a league where you have
15:09multiple flex spots or you start three
15:11wide receivers, then I'm okay with you
15:13pushing him up to the beginning of the
15:14fourth round. Of course, I want to
15:15remind you, please, for the love of God,
15:17make sure you understand how the small
15:19changes with your starting lineup
