Nico Collins

PositiveRole0:47

Nico Collins is the clear alpha wide receiver on the Texans and commands a high target share, making him the team's best receiver.

Tank Dell

PositiveSleeper0:00

Tank Dell is a 70th-ranked wide receiver who goes around pick 200 and is free on some platforms, making him a league-winner sleeper with massive upside despite coming off a severe knee injury (ACL, MCL, LCL tear, dislocated kneecap) that required multiple surgeries.

Insight page
PositiveInjury0:29

The injury occurred in December 2024, giving Tank Dell 21 months to recover by Week 1; he was present at the last day of OTAs and is expected to be good to go to start training camp.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:47

Tank Dell's upside is likely limited by Nico Collins commanding a high target share, and the Texans' strong defense and run game mean volume probably won't be sufficient for consistent production.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:54

Before his injury as a rookie, Tank Dell was on pace for 80 receptions, 1,200 yards, and 12 touchdowns, demonstrating elite production potential that shouldn't be completely free.

Insight page
PositiveBust1:25

The worst-case scenario for Tank Dell is that he mixes in as a deep play role, occasionally spikes on DFS, or ends up doing nothing if drafted as a last pick in redraft leagues.

0:00final wide receiver today, easily the
0:02riskiest on this list and the one that
0:03could literally do absolutely nothing
0:05this season, but is a 70th wide receiver
0:07up boards, never going to get drafted in
0:09reddraft, even deeper leagues. Uh,
0:11Tanktel. Now, I know he's coming off
0:14just a terrifying knee injury, right? He
0:15tore his ACL, MCL, LCL, he dislocated
0:18his kneecap, he did other damage around
0:20that. I mean, this was one of the worst
0:22injuries you could possibly have,
0:24required multiple surgeries, easily
0:26could just never come back to what he
0:27once was. fully acknowledge that. But
0:29the injury did happen in December of
0:312024, so by week one, he'll have had 21
0:34months to recover. He'll need that much
0:37time. He was there in the last day of
0:38OTAAS. He's expected to be good to go to
0:40start training camp. So, he's good to
0:43go. Again, obviously a very risky
0:45player. Um, obviously a low confidence
0:47bet. And obviously, Nico's the alpha. I
0:49want to make that very clear. Nico
0:51Collins the best wide receiver in this
0:52team. He'll be the one. But the kid was
0:54on pace for 80 receptions, 1,200 yards,
0:57and 12 touchdowns before getting hurt as
0:59a rookie. Someone capable of doing that
1:02should not be completely free. Even on
1:05underdog, he's free. The kid goes around
1:07pick like 200. You can take him as your
1:10last pick. I mean, the upside's
1:12obviously there. Um, I think it's
1:13probably going to take an injury. I
1:14think it probably takes an injury to
1:16Nico Collins. I think Nico just commands
1:18too high of a target share and the team
1:20has good enough of a defense um has good
1:21enough a run game that um the likely
1:24outcome is that the volume just isn't
1:25there enough. The worst case here is
1:27that he kind of mixes in in like a deep
1:29play role and you occasionally get some
1:30spiked tweaks on underdog or you draft
1:33your last pick in reddraft. He ends up
1:34doing nothing and you cut him. It's your
1:36last pick in reddraft league. It's not
1:37going to be a pick you're probably
1:38relying on anyways. So why not take a
1:41player who's capable of that sort of
1:44production? Unlikely, sure. But
1:46impossible that he produces like that?
