Daniels won the starting job unexpectedly during training camp and delivered an impressive performance in his second career start on prime-time short week against the Cowboys; he went 8-for-8 to start the game and is the first undrafted rookie to do so in the Super Bowl era. His success rate ranks 10th among quarterbacks with at least 40 attempts, above Joe Burrow and Josh Allen, though the source notes the context and defenses are different. He had a 2.92 time to throw per Next Gen Stats against a 20% pressure rate.PositiveRoleOct 9, 2026
