NegativeRoleOct 9, 2026
Otton is not providing the explosive playmaking the Buccaneers offense needs; the source notes he can get to his spots and make decent plays moving the chains but lacks the pop required.NegativeMatchupSep 29, 2026
Cade Otten was eaten alive by Vikings linebacker Ivan Pace in Week 3. Pace had multiple plays where he blew up Otten early in the third quarter, swiped past him (allowing Otten to squirt out of the backfield but still resulting in an incredible pass rush), and later exploded Otten to get a sack. Otten could not handle Pace's blitz assignments.NegativeUsageSep 25, 2026
The source notes that Cade Otton has been frequently schemed into blocking assignments against high-end pass rushers like Dallas Turner, which is a negative usage pattern for his fantasy outlook as he is being used as a blocker rather than a receiver.
