0:00What is going on everybody? Welcome to the first episode of the season of the Futurecast.
0:05We are no longer talking about the present. We got our focus on the future and we're already on to the 2027 Rookie Class.
0:13I am your host, the authentic one, Mr. Raddy Kiwoom, joined by the one of one, the best in the biz, my man Cody Carpenter.
0:21Cody, two weeks in or three weeks in, I guess, we got number zero, whatever that goofy thing is.
0:27Four weeks in, if you count that. I don't know.
0:30We got a bunch of games in the college season.
0:33It feels like we're just getting started, though. What's changed?
0:36What do we know? Give us your just meta 10,000 foot view on this 2027 class that has had hype since we were wee kids.
0:44First off, I want to say I like the authentic one.
0:47I like that. I can already foresee the Wikipedia page in six years coming out.
0:52It's going to say Matty Kiwoom, but then it's going to say Matty Kiwoom, the roses, and then it's going to say the authentic.
1:00It's just going to have a whole crap load of text.
1:03And underneath, it's going to say the authentic one.
1:06And then, yeah. You know, Howard Stern dubbed himself King of Radio.
1:10You know, you got to put these wrestling monikers on yourself because then they stick.
1:15But I don't know. I think it's also hilarious that I'm the authentic one.
1:19I don't even use my real name. So I think that's the whole fuck.
1:23I think that's the whole bit. So I'm trying to lose this monetization in the first two minutes by just dropping an F-bomb there.
1:31But no, I think the first couple, three weeks, I don't count week zero.
1:35I mean, week zero next year, we'll have a different conversation because they're going to they've altered the whole schedule for 2027.
1:42But we are in the year of our Lord, 2026.
1:46And so we've got three complete weeks under our belt, which means we have begun to get some data under our belt.
1:52And I think the biggest piece of data here is just what happens every year is certain quarterback, either regression or lack of development.
2:00Question marks enter the conversation. You know, there's you know, I think the two biggest names in the sport right now at
2:07the quarterback position have been one, Trinidad Chambliss, who we saw down at the Manning Passing Academy.
2:12You know, he had the fan base behind him down there and now he goes to Ole Miss massive win against LSU last week.
2:20And the other name in the state of Mississippi actually is Camario Taylor, who we also saw down there at the Manning Passing Academy.
2:28You talk about strongest arms in the sport. He's up there in that top five list.
2:33I'd say right now the athleticism is there. People have floored the idea of him departing.
2:38I think that's completely maniacal cockamamie and diabolical and despicable of you to entertain the thought that he would leave Mississippi State.
2:45If you don't know now, you know, go look it up.
2:48That's all I'm going to say on that topic.
2:51He's a 2028 quarterback, by the way. That's what this is.
2:54The point of this is the conversation is about a 511 quarterback and a 2028 quarterback.
2:59It's not about Arch. It's not about Lenoris. It's not about Dante in a positive fashion.
3:05Dante's got an L to Oklahoma State. Arch is still, you know, he's progressed and developed, but he still has this glaring hole in the pocket.
3:13Right. I think you look at Lenora Sellers. They just took an L last week.
3:17He still has developmental needs. The athleticism is there, but you're starting to entertain the idea of Lenora Sellers returning to school in 2027.
3:25So that's where we're at with the quarterbacks. I think that's the biggest jumping off point because at the other positions, everything's kind of going as planned.
3:34Yeah. I mean, we could see six, seven first round receivers, two first round running backs, one or two first round tight ends.
3:41There's going to be a lot of fantasy pickings in our rookie class in 2027, which is why, ladies and gentlemen, we
3:48are already doing a 2027 rookie mock draft. This is one round and it is super flex because to Cody's point here,
3:55we could see six quarterbacks taken in the first 15, kind of like we saw a couple of years ago.
4:01But, you know, there's some question marks still surrounding Arch Manning, Darian Menza, who really hasn't played anybody yet, but has looked
4:08absolutely lights out CJ Carr and Julian Sand. I mean, these could be a lot of names taken in round one, but
4:15we are going to jump right on in to a 12 pick one round super flex mock to get you guys dialed
4:22in focused and just remind you, go get those 2027 firsts, go get those 2027 seconds.
4:27Heck, go get those 2028 first and second because Cody and I had this conversation the other day.
4:33I said, Hey, look at this trade. What do you think?
4:36And he said, can you get a 2027 2028 second?
4:39And I said, do you think that that class is good?
4:43He said, brother, every single class will be good from now on because of NIL.
4:48Well, they'll just keep stacking and stacking and stacking the years of just depleted classes that may have ended with this past one.
4:55We are looking at loaded 2027 and beyond. So without further ado, we are going to get into this one round super flex 2027 mock.
5:03So you're going to want to stick around for it.
5:06As you can see here, the board has been laid out.
5:09Cody's going to take number one. So he's got the odds.
5:13I'll have the evens and we're about to dive in.
5:16But if you want our full rookie rankings for the 2027 class, head over to rosterwatch.com to get Cody's and my 1.0
5:23rookie ranks will be out on the website. Maybe by the time you're checking out this episode, so check that out at playaprofile.com.
5:30Cody, you are on the clock. Give me Jerry Smith.
5:33I mean, there is none other. Next. That's how this is going to go.
5:38This is our Julio. This is our Kelvin. You know, I went back and like if you look at the draft classes
5:45since 2007 when Kelvin was drafted, you know, you can go one by one.
5:49And I'm looking at receivers with 8,000 or more career receiving yards.
5:53And these classes, it's funny. Like the ones you look at and you're like, well, there's no real, there's no real alpha here.
6:00Like if you, you know, this is all hindsight, the last 15 years.
6:04Right. So like after Kelvin came out in 2007, he was the only one with, you know, that has ended up with 8,000 or more yards.
6:13The next year was Jordy Nelson, Deshaun Jackson. The next year was Mike Wallace.
6:17You know, the next year you had AB, but he was obviously not a first round pick.
6:22Golden Tate, Demarius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders. Think about these names, right?
6:26They're really good receivers. None of the names I just listed outside of AB, who wasn't the first round pick are elite.
6:33And then you had Julio and AJ Green. That was, you know, four years later.
6:38And then you've had years where it's like T.Y.
6:40Hilton, you know, you got Tyler Lockett, Adam Thielen, Brennan Cooks of the guy like this class right here starts and stops with Jeremiah Smith.
6:48There's a lot more guys in this class, but this is so easily your kingmaker.
6:53This is your Jefferson. This is your chase. This is your.
6:56You know, you're Mike Evans. This is your Julio.
6:59This is your Kelvin. And there's no question, not even an inkling, not even if there's a fire, not even if there's
7:06an injury, not even if there's a significant injury.
7:09Yeah. I mean, this could be the first time we see a 101 NFL receiver.
7:14This is he's that generational. He's that good. And also, as a whole, this class could be schematically forever changing, you know,
7:21the next decade of the NFL, because these aren't shifty route runners.
7:25These are big route running X receivers. Go get them receivers.
7:28This is a big class highlighted by the big dog, Jeremiah Smith going from Ohio State.
7:33So now I'm up with the 102. Cam Coleman is a popular pick here.
7:38Jane Ball, number one running back in the class.
7:40Definitely a popular pick here, but it is super flex.
7:44And I'm starting to I'm starting to look at this kid as a top five NFL draft pick.
7:49Maybe the first quarterback off the board. I'm looking at this kid as a winner.
7:54I don't care about his age. The size is going to be a little bit of a factor.
8:00But yesterday we were talking off camera about a player comp for this guy.
8:04And that player has now in year three gone into a, you know, gone on to become what is supposed to be a fantasy monster.
8:12So in this super flex, I'm taking Trinidad Chambliss with the 102.
8:16I love the intangibles. I love the awareness. I love the mechanics.
8:20I love the athleticism. And this is the type of kid that comes in the NFL might take a year to marinate.
8:27That's just how this position goes, but maybe not because he is going to be 24.
8:32He's going to have a little bit of maturity under that belt and maybe Heisman, maybe a national championship.
8:38We'll see what he does at Ole Miss, but I love the trajectory that Trinidad is on.
8:43Plus think of the team names you can make with Trinidad on your roster.
8:47I really, I really was hoping you were going to take ball here so I could take Trinidad.
8:53Trinidad. So you got me. Going on in my chain.
8:56What? Was that Trinidad Chambliss? Oh, dude. The rapper?
8:59Trinidad James, baby. Trinidad Chambliss, baby. Going on in my watch.
9:03Can't believe me. Don't believe me. Just watch. Dude.
9:05Yeah, baby. All right. Trinidad. Oh, my God. You got me on one this morning already.
9:10That was hyped. I was pissed. I really want to take Trinidad.
9:14All right. The 103 best running back in the class.
9:17Give me Jaden Ball from Florida. So him and Kiwon Lacy are the 1A1B in this thing.
9:23And I like Ball just a little bit more as an overall package.
9:27225 pound back from Florida. Six foot two. I mean, these are two different types of backs than what the NFL is used to right now.
9:35He's not Bijon. You know, he's not Gibbs. Like, he's a bigger back.
9:39And I think he's going to dominate touches in a backfield.
9:43You know, rarely do we get these 20, 25 plus touch guys on a consistent basis.
9:48Nowadays, this is one of them. Right. Right. Yeah.
9:51We're not seeing that type of touch share from these guys until they get that second contract.
9:56So it is good knowing that Jaden Ball could get that type of volume right out the gate and not completely collapse
10:03underneath the weight of that NFL touch load. So Jaden Ball right now is the clear running back one for me as well.
10:10With the fourth pick, I'm going to go back to the quarterback position.
10:14And I'm going to take Arch Manning. I understand the questions about Arch.
10:18But a lot of the questions surrounding his game, to me, feels like the most solvable, given the kid's DNA, given the
10:25kid's background, and given who he has in his corner.
10:29And to me, it just seems like in a super flex mock for fantasy, you could be sitting there in a couple
10:35years and just be like, why did I overthink it?
10:39We have known that Arch was on the come up.
10:42We know that Arch has all the intangibles, the size, the athleticism, the arm strength, the decision making.
10:47He has the name on the back of the jersey.
10:51I just don't want to make him fall much longer because I think the trendy pick is going to see him fall
10:58because people want to get too cool for school.
11:00I'm not going to overthink it. I'm going to take Arch here because the athleticism, the running, the rushing floor, he comes
11:07across as a Drake May floor type player with a ton of upside, just like Drake May has.
11:13Interesting. Yeah. I think Arch is – there's going to be a big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big,
11:20big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big conversation.
11:25That's going to be had all the way until draft day and even through that about Arch Manning because he hasn't quite
11:32developed to where he needs to be. But I do obviously see the tools, see the traits, and I do think that
11:39somebody in the NFL might use him different than how Sark.
11:43Sark doesn't want to create a dual-threat quarterback, and I believe after watching every single snap and every single game that Arch
11:50has ever played, he'd be best utilized in like a Jalen Hurts type of a role.
11:55I think he's Jalen Hurts plus. People have comped Trevor Lawrence and Josh Allen.
11:59I think he's Jalen Hurts, run the ball, put 5, 10 pounds more on him, and then he's also got a bazooka on that shoulder.
12:07So I like Arch Manning. I'll go with the other running back though.
12:11I know Super Flex, but give me Key1 Lacey, the running back out of Ole Miss.
12:16I love Key1. They got a Heisman Trophy campaign in Ole Miss right now with him and Trinidad, and he's a big part of it.
12:24He's a big part of the success of this football team.
12:28He could have jumped in the portal and went to LSU, but he didn't.
12:32I respect that. I love that, and I think Key1 Lacey is going to be a top 20 pick in April.
12:39With the sixth pick, I'm not going to let this guy slide any longer.
12:43I'm going to get Arch Manning's teammate, even though this is technically two different teams.
12:48We're not building one solid roster, but I'm going to take Cam Coleman.
12:52I think there are some massive games ahead. He wasn't really utilized.
12:56He had that big mistake against Ohio State, and that's kind of been the stink on his profile right now, but there's
13:03a lot of SEC games to come, a lot of big matchups, and he still has the size, the speed, the athletic
13:10background, the pedigree, the prospect profile, and I think with a little bit more refining throughout the season, Cam Coleman is going
13:17to be a first-round pick, probably the second receiver off the board, and at this rate, getting him at six is just
13:24we're really starting to conceptualize how nasty this class is going to be.
13:28Yeah, I think Cam Coleman's a superstar, and I'm not sure we're going to quite get the whole thing this year.
13:34We might get a game or two at Texas where he goes nuclear, 150, 160, or something like we've seen from Jerry,
13:41but we're not going to get the apex Cam Coleman until the NFL.
13:45There's a reason he's compared to A.J. Green. He'll be a top-20 pick for sure, maybe top-10.
13:51It just depends on the depth. I mean, there's a lot of pieces, not just quarterback, receiver, running back in this draft.
13:58You know, there's a tight end that could be fun.
14:01There's tackles. There's edge. There's corners that are all elite.
14:04So he might fall to, you know, 14, 15, and it wouldn't shock me, but he's a superstar in himself, a wide receiver one in most classes.
14:13All right, at seven here, this is a tough spot right now.
14:16This is a little bit of a tear snap for me.
14:20I'm going to go Mark Fletcher, Miami running back as well.
14:23I think it's Ball. I think it's Lacey. I think Fletcher's three right now.
14:28Before the season, I would have probably said Ahmad Hardy goes here or maybe with the pick before year, the running back
14:35from Missouri, but he's got a gunshot wound that he suffered this summer at a concert.
14:40He hasn't played football yet this year. Mark Fletcher, another one, 6'2", 225 pounds, just a horse.
14:45You know, and maybe he runs a 4'6", but I won't know that until February, January, late, what would it be?
14:52Yeah, late February. And at that point, I'll alter this thought, but right now, Mark Fletcher, last year had a phenomenal run
14:59through the playoffs, and he's had this strong start to the season with this Miami football team.
15:04So I'm going to go Mark Fletcher Jr. A little bit of projection here, but I love the player, the size.
15:11I mean, he could – I don't think he's going to regret it because of how this team is built this year,
15:18but last year he would have been, you know, kind of a breath of fresh air for a rookie class that really
15:25didn't have a whole lot of running back love other than they got two guys who went in the first round.
15:31He could have easily been the third guy off the board last year.
15:35He's the third guy off the board this year, just again, speaking to the ridiculousness of the class.
15:41The next guy I'm going to pick here is one of my biggest risers through this first month of the college football
15:48season, Charlie Becker, wide receiver from Indiana. I know this is going to be a lazy comp, but I'm okay with it
15:55because I think the play style is there wholeheartedly.
15:58He looks like Eric Decker, and I loved Eric Decker in the NFL.
16:02A guy who can catch the ball over the middle, a guy who can maw somebody.
16:07He's got the wide frame. He's got the toughness in his game that allows athleticism to shine a little bit more.
16:14That sneaky athleticism, I'm not going to go there and do all the cliches, but he reminds me so much of Eric
16:21Decker, and I love Eric Decker in fantasy football.
16:23Is this a raising? I'll raise you Christian Watson?
16:26Christian Watson, how he's developing in the NFL, I love.
16:29But Christian Watson coming out was such a hard – he's actually – Christian Watson reminds me a little bit more of
16:36some of the other guys that maybe we'll get to coming out.
16:40Today. Today, yes. Today was. Yes, he does have some Christian Watson in him today.
16:45Yeah, yes. Just – I mean, Christian Watson, I don't know what he came in weighing as as a rookie, but, I
16:52mean, he's put on some – he's bricked up a little bit.
16:56And I think Becker – I mean, Becker already has some of that.
17:00Watson was 208. Yeah, I think Becker's bigger, but I'm just stylistically brain-melding it.
17:04I think that's good. I think that's a great comp.
17:07Number nine, I kind of want to get a quarterback here.
17:11I think C.J. Carr is going to be a phenomenal pro.
17:14You know, he doesn't – he's not going to need to press the button at Notre Dame.
17:20And so I think there's – he's not going to be some kind of seventh-round pick like Brock Purdy was, but he's
17:27going to get this depression, I think, because he's not going to have to get nasty.
17:32And he also doesn't have the weaponry to really get nasty and have a 350-yard, four-touchdown game.
17:37And if it happens, it'll be in the playoffs, which will obviously help the draft stock.
17:42But I like C.J. Carr here at nine, the quarterback for Notre Dame.
17:46I think he's a baller. I think he commands.
17:49I think he's the best vocal quarterback in this class, the best leading quarterback in this class.
17:54And that's from an in-person perspective, from seeing him at the Manning Passing Academy, coach kids, talk about offense, just break down – just do stuff in person.
18:03It's just different than all these other guys. So I'm going to go C.J.
18:08Carr at nine. Real quick, break down why Carr with Dante Moore and Lenora Sellers still on the board.
18:14Because Dante Moore – I mean, I'm not buying this Portland State 84-nugget game.
18:18Right. Dante Moore looks good. It wouldn't shock me if Dante Moore went back to school.
18:23And Lenora Sellers is starting to creep into that category and conversation.
18:27And Lenora Sellers, to me, is a little bit more one-quarterback value.
18:31Like I said, C.J. Carr, to me, is a safe bet here.
18:35He might not be a first-round pick, but he'll definitely be a top 45 pick.
18:39And I think that that leaves room for him to land somewhere that will benefit him.
18:44So I think he deserves to be in this conversation, and that's why I'm doing it, because I think he's at a better season to this point.
18:53He's more developmentally, physically. You know, those two guys you brought up, Dante Moore, is the best thrower of the football in the sport.
19:00Is he the best processor? Is he the best developer or deliverer of the football right now?
19:06He's got the best weaponry next to Arch and Julian San, but he's not doing the most with it.
19:12He's also got the best run game. And Lenora, I wanted to see what Camario's doing out of Lenora.
19:18I want to see Cam Newton out of Lenora.
19:21I want to see Anthony Richardson out of Lenora.
19:24We haven't even gotten that yet from a running perspective.
19:27So I have questions that are starting to irritate me with those two.
19:31Actually, we're going to keep this conversation going, because I'm going to go quarterback as well.
19:36I'm going to Darian Menza here. I love what I'm seeing out of Menza.
19:40I think there's still that upside, and the thing that pops off for me when it comes to Menza is, and I'm
19:47excited to see the competition, the step up in competition throughout the season, is because I think what this kid has above
19:54the shoulders, the IQ, the football IQ is there.
19:57Remember, this guy went to Duke. Duke does not accept guys who aren't smart.
20:01And now we're seeing the physicality, the physical traits, the efficiency, and you can't help who you play, but when you play
20:08the guys you can't help on the schedule, it's awesome to almost be perfect, if you know what I mean.
20:15And Darian Menza's been perfect. And the reason for me that I'm okay with Carr here, the reason why I'm okay with
20:22Menza over Moore and over Sellers is this, and I'm putting some projectability here.
20:26I am projecting a little bit. After seeing what I'm seeing from Dante Moore, he kind of looks like a kid who
20:33will struggle in a bad situation, and if he's going to go in the top eight in the NFL, there's a high
20:40likelihood that he's not in a good situation. And I don't know how good he'll be early on going to a bad situation.
20:47And again, at the top of the draft, there's always some bad situations, some redos, some teardowns.
20:53I don't love it there. And for me, with Sellers, I just feel like we've just now seen this play out over
21:00the last five years way more than it does it.
21:03All the tools under the sun, all the athleticism you could ever ask for at the QB position, and it just doesn't come together.
21:10I mean, you had that one season on Anthony Richardson.
21:13He's not rosterable in fantasy. He's barely even rosterable in the Superflex dynasty right now.
21:18He's tough to hold on to. And I just see that same path for Sellers.
21:23And if we're going to get Chambliss, if we get Arch and we get Carr and Menza and Moore and Sayin, do NFL teams go, you know what?
21:32I'll take him. But it's going to be on late day two, maybe even early day three.
21:37I don't want the project. He's not coming out then.
21:40Right, right. The rumor this year was he'll transfer to Miami, and he said, no, I'm staying home because he's from Florence.
21:47He's from down the road from Columbia. And the thing is, if the year keeps going south of South Carolina, Beamer will be gone.
21:55And that means de facto Sellers will depart. And Sellers will go to Miami, make $8 million, and he'll stay.
22:01I don't think he goes $8 million. I don't think he goes to Miami.
22:06I think he goes more of the kid from Florida route.
22:09Don't get it twisted. No. Don't get it twisted.
22:12I see him more on a Baylor than I see Miami taking a chance on him.
22:17I wouldn't get it twisted there. There's a lot there.
22:20And Miami has – I mean, let's not act like Darian Menza was some kind of world beater.
22:26He was good, but he wasn't a world beater.
22:29Right, but he wasn't a – He wasn't an underachiever.
22:32Beck was a failure. Beck was a failure. Maybe, but those – Cam Ward wasn't a world beater.
22:38Ward, Beck, Menza, they are all better passers than Sellers.
22:41Sellers is the thing that – As of right now, as of right now, and things can change.
22:46Developments do happen. Coaching changes, all that things can happen.
22:50Sellers is weighing down a good roster with his play.
22:53The Miami Hurricanes have grabbed what we thought could be a game manager and have elevated that passing status.
22:59I just don't see the fit. Now, could he go to another big-time program?
23:03Sure. But the way he's on and the way he's underachieving, this seems to me like a downgrade in the transfer portal
23:10in terms of program than an upgrade. I'm going to make a bet.
23:14I'm not going to pick him here at 11, but I am going to go with Trey Desgreen, the LSU tight end.
23:21The best tight end in the class. Trey Desgreen, 6'6", 6'7", great human being.
23:26He is a superstar. He's a superstar. He's Pitts-level.
23:28Maybe not quite as athletic, but he's a Kyle Pitts-level stud.
23:32And I want him. He's going to be a top 20 pick.
23:36Like I said before, some of these other guys, he's going to be jammed in here.
23:41I don't know where he's going to go, but he's going to land.
23:45And I think Trey Desgreen is going to be a star in the NFL.
23:49Holy cannoli. This class is redone, dude. Because I don't know where to go.
23:54There's like eight more names I want. Right. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to make a pick, and
24:01then we're just going to kind of go quickly.
24:03Some of the names, I do have a question that I want to ask, because there's an itch that I want to scratch.
24:11And I'm not going to make it the pick here because it's early, but I do want to talk about the players.
24:18So at 12, I'm going to go KJ Duff.
24:21You brought up a really cool stat on X the other day that he could be in one of the most prolific
24:27bad team seasons, going all the way back to Brandon Cooks, I think it was.
24:32That was the comp there, guy who went over 1,200 on a terrible team.
24:37And Cooks did it on an Oregon State that was 500.
24:40He's doing it on a team that lost to UMass I am ours.
24:44I'm from Massachusetts. I know how bad the Minutemen are at football.
24:48I mean, this year they're pretty good. But historically they've been bad.
24:52And this Rutgers team stinks. Yet KJ Duff, size, speed, everything.
24:55For me, I cannot believe he did not transfer.
24:58If I saw him in the SEC stomping around, I mean, this guy's draft stock goes through the roof.
25:04Even so, I have a first-round tag on him so far this season.
25:08I think KJ Duff is the exact player that makes you salivate winning your fantasy championship and then getting to pick this
25:15kid at the end of your rookie first round.
25:18Yeah, I mean, this is the – he might break the damn record.
25:22He might go for 1,800. I think right now he's on pace for about 1,750, which would outproduce Brandon Cooks who had 1,670 yards.
25:30Like you said, you brought up Brandon Cooks. Like that's – for being a team that's under 500, like it's just – it sucks.
25:37His buddy Ian Strong went to California. He's playing with JKS right now at a Cal.
25:42And like Rutgers still spent $20 million in this roster, dog.
25:46And they suck. So, I mean, KJ Duff's a stud.
25:49So, I like Duff here. I thought about Duff.
25:52Man, I've thought about a bunch of these guys for the last like three picks.
25:57So, I think Duff's deserving as well. So, here's the first round.
26:00The 2027 rookie mock draft super flex. Jeremiah – are we going with Jerry?
26:05I'm going Jerry. They call him JJ. But, I mean, how can you not be Jerry Smith, dog?
26:11Jeremiah Smith, wide receiver from Ohio State, goes number one.
26:14Trinidad James Chambliss goes number two. Quarterback from Ole Miss.
26:17Jaden Ball running back from Florida goes number three.
26:20Quarterback from Texas. Arch Manning goes number four. Ke'Juan Lacy running back from Ole Miss goes number five.
26:25Cam Coleman receiver from Texas goes six. Mark Fletcher Jr.
26:29Miami Hurricanes running back goes seven. Charlie Becker, wide receiver from Indiana, goes eight.
26:33CJ Carr, another quarterback from Notre Dame, goes nine.
26:36Darian Menza, quarterback for the Hurricanes, goes ten. Trey Des Green, only tight end selected from LSU.
26:41Basketball power forward, former five-star stud prospect. Love that pick.
26:44And then KJ Duff rounds out round one. Wide receiver from Rutgers.
26:48This class looks so good early on because they're like, like you said, there are still four, five, six, seven guys that
26:55I would be more than excited to select in my rookie drafts.
26:59But give us a couple, Cody, that are still there that you think can get into this top 12 as we do more of these.
27:07Someone that could kind of catapult through the ranks.
27:10I mean, Matty, we're going to be here for an hour if we do this.
27:14But Dante Moore, easy. This is just the quarterbacks.
27:17We talked about him, though. We talked about him.
27:20The quarterbacks that are easy to just roll in here and say, yes, in the next six weeks you could be talking
27:27about Dante Moore from Oregon, South Carolina's quarterback in Lenore.
27:30So they turned it around. Drew Mestemaker at Oklahoma State.
27:33Never started a high school football game at quarterback.
27:36Went to North Texas last year and was just sick.
27:396'5", 225. I think you look at Jamari Johnson, the tight end from Oregon.
27:44I don't think Ryan Wingo gets up there from Texas.
27:47I like Deuce Robinson as a Duff type, a Charlie Becker type from Florida State to declare and come out.
27:53Ryan Coleman-Williams is the other one from Alabama who's had drop issues, but he's a dynamic superstar with a ball in his hands.
28:00I mean, it was Jerry Smith and Ryan Williams.
28:03Jerry Smith, Ryan Williams just two years ago, and here we don't even have him in the top 12, and I ain't even mad about it.
28:12I ain't even mad. I'm not even mad about seeing what is happening here.
28:16Now, could he be there in a 1QB? I don't know.
28:19You got to stick around for when we do one of those.
28:23The guy I want to talk about because when I watch this player, I don't know how anyone could not see an NFL producer in this thing.
28:32But before I reveal this, do you have anything else?
28:35Anything else you want to say? Nah. I think that's it.
28:38I think those are just the guys. Those are the – I mean, there's running backs that interest me, but I think that's about it.
28:46The guy I wanted to bring up is Raleigh Brown.
28:49When I watch him play, he just looks good.
28:52But that's it. We'll talk more about this. I don't want to get into it with half hour.
28:58That was our target. We're going to get you guys out of here.
29:02This is the Futurecast. He's Cody Karp here. I'm Matty Q.
29:06We'll see you next time in the next iteration of a mock draft, maybe.
