Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury0:02

Alec Pierce is likely to start the season on the PUP list due to major ankle surgery in spring with a four-to-six month recovery timeline, making coach Shane Steichen's claims about him being ready for the second half of camp 'absurd.'

Insight page
PositiveInjury48:32

Staring at a lost season, opening up target volume for Josh Downs as the primary receiver option for the Giants.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

NegativeValue0:23

Antonio Williams is deprioritized in dynasty rookie drafts compared to other running back options like Singleton and Emmett Johnson.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveRole0:16

Brian Thomas Jr. had a completely different offseason after dealing with minor injuries all of 2025; he's been relishing practice and gym work, positioning him a year ahead of Marvin Harrison Jr. in development.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveValue0:22

Carnell Tate was acquired via trade (the Podfather traded Lamar Jackson and pick 103 for future first rounders) and the Podfather has significant exposure to him across multiple leagues.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveBreakout0:23

Chris Bell was drafted at pick 202 in the Kings Classic dynasty rookie draft; the Podfather believes Chris Bell 2028 will be his breakout season with a new sophomore quarterback in Miami.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveProjection50:32

Bold prediction: will be a top 25 running back in fantasy this year alongside Jonathan Brooks on the Panthers.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

NegativeValue0:20

Cyrus Allen is a wide receiver that the Podfather talks himself out of drafting in dynasty rookie drafts due to low probability of success outside round two.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

NegativeDepth Chart0:08

Emmanuel Wilson, despite his $1.5 million contract, is behind George Halani in Seattle's backfield depth chart and is not the primary back.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

PositiveValue0:23

Emmett Johnson is preferred over Antonio Williams in dynasty rookie drafts and is a running back option the Podfather would consider in round two.

Insight page

George Holani

PositiveDepth Chart0:02

George Halani is the guy ahead of Emmanuel Wilson in Seattle's backfield and is penciled in as the primary back until Zach Charbonnet returns, making him a key dynasty target.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

PositiveBreakout48:48

Could be coming around as an athletic tight end option, not dead yet in terms of upside potential.

Insight page

Isiah Pacheco

PositiveSleeper44:02

Interesting player but doesn't quite fit the bell cow RB3 archetype being targeted, suggesting limited upside compared to other options.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeRole0:13

Janarian Price is a finesse running back who will be used in a rotational role and is not an option as a primary back in year one; he's comparable to Clyde Edwards-Helaire and will be behind George Halani and Emmanuel Wilson.

Insight page
NegativeBust0:17

Jadarian Price is a strong fade in dynasty rookie drafts; he's a carbon copy of Miles Sanders who doesn't profile as a workhorse back and will be rolled out slowly, similar to Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Insight page

Jarquez Hunter

PositiveBreakout37:19

Confident he is a good running back with tough-as-nails profile, percolating with 1500+ all-purpose yard college seasons in the SEC, representing the type of RB3 with bell cow upside to target.

Insight page

Jeff Janis

PositiveProjection45:57

Only wide receiver in NFL history to catch back-to-back Hail Marys; was a seventh-round pick drafted everywhere by the analyst, making his performance a memorable dynasty moment.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveSleeper0:18

Jeremiah Love is the preferred running back from the Notre Dame class and should be drafted in dynasty rookie drafts (mentioned as being taken at pick 101).

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveBreakout50:32

Beat reporters are touting him; bold prediction that he will be a top 25 running back this year after tearing his knee multiple times and showing grit and determination to return, with awesome college pedigree from Texas.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveRole0:10

With Alec Pierce likely on the PUP list to start the season, Josh Downs would be top five in targets or target share in the NFL for the first few weeks.

Insight page
PositiveProjection48:32

Bold prediction: top five in targets this year, potentially leading the NFL in targets through the first few weeks without Pierce, and could finish top five in receptions given he's the perfect WR archetype fit with Daniel Jones.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

PositiveValue41:21

Size-speed specimen proven to be efficient in the NFL system; should be targeted as he's already demonstrated productivity in the Chargers offense with Marion Hampton taking premium touches.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveValue0:22

Lamar Jackson was traded away (along with pick 103) for future first rounders in a rebuilding effort for the Kings Classic dynasty team.

Insight page

LeQuint Allen

PositiveRole45:08

Loved as a satellite back plus but doesn't profile as a workhorse; teams will always need someone between the tackles, so he doesn't qualify as a bell cow RB3.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveValue0:20

Makai Lemon is a preferred wide receiver target in dynasty rookie drafts and should be prioritized over running backs like Jadarian Price.

Insight page

Malik Davis

NegativeDepth Chart0:12

Malik Davis had a lock on the RB2 share in Dallas, but the situation is now completely fluid with Phil Maffa getting early camp reps ahead of him.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeInjury0:15

Marvin Harrison Jr. is still dealing with multiple lower body injuries months from the season and seems to be picking up new injuries regularly, trending toward a Brian Thomas Jr. 2025-like season this year.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveRole0:15

Michael Wilson is the healthiest, strongest, best-conditioned wide receiver in the NFC and is positioned well for the season while Marvin Harrison Jr. deals with injuries.

Insight page

Nicholas Singleton

PositiveSleeper40:08

This year's Ollie Gordon comp—a player with disappointing final college year but strong prior profile who should be drafted as an RB3 with bell cow upside given backfield injury risk.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon

PositiveBreakout38:39

Coaches love him despite Jalen Wright getting touches ahead of him last year; was a true phenomenon in college and could see significant volume if Devontae Henry or Jalen Wright suffer injury.

Insight page
NegativeProjection46:23

On a bad Dolphins team with limited scoring potential and questions about whether he's even number two in the depth chart based on end-of-season usage, creating uncertainty about his role.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

PositiveProjection41:21

Will be an absolute machine this year with the Chargers' offensive line, offense, and system, representing a premium player with elite opportunity.

Insight page

Ray Davis

NegativeSleeper42:19

Not preferred over Will Shipley as a potential James Cook replacement, suggesting limited bell cow upside despite being on the Bills.

Insight page

Tahj Brooks

PositiveSleeper38:39

Not quite at Jarquez Hunter level but represents the type of RB3 with all-purpose profile and college production that should be targeted in dynasty for high upside.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

PositiveValue0:20

Ted Hurst is the only tight end you can realistically draft with confidence in round two of dynasty rookie drafts.

Insight page

Ty Simpson

PositiveValue0:23

Ty Simpson was drafted at pick 109 in the Kings Classic dynasty rookie draft as a quarterback option for a rebuilding team circling 2028 as their competitive window.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveRole0:10

Tyler Warren is set to play as the tight end one for the Colts with Alec Pierce sidelined to start the season.

Insight page
PositiveRole48:32

Only other player that commands targets on the Giants alongside Josh Downs, limiting the target share available to other receivers.

Insight page

Will Shipley

PositiveSleeper42:19

Late RB3 with all-purpose profile; would rather have him in a workhorse role than Ray Davis if Buffalo lost James Cook, indicating strong bell cow upside.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeInjury0:09

Zach Charbonnet's coach claims he could be ready for week one, but this is dismissed as coach speak; the timeline for ACL recovery (stretching and strengthening a cadaver ligament) takes many months and he won't be ready early in the season.

0:48As for the frozen taquitos and mystery leftovers, we'll keep that between us.

1:04Ah, yes. Welcome to the Dynasty Deep Dive. I have the man, the myth, the legend, the CEO, player profiler, CEO of
1:13Fast Draft, the one and only, the podfather. What's up, big dog?
1:17Just trying to consume this fire hose that is NFL news.
1:22When camp opens, we learn a lot. We learn a lot.
1:26And we got to be careful. The coaches know this.
1:30They don't want too much information getting out, so they're going to throw smoke screens.
1:35So you've got to know what news matters and what news is a smoke screen.
1:41I put it up on Patreon, patreon.com slash podfather.
1:44My top 10 most relevant revelations in the last 48 hours to a week, mostly 48 hours.
1:51Like, it's just been rat-a-tat, tat, tat, tat, tat.
1:54Who's the first guy through all the 11-11 drills with the Cowboys right now?
2:00It's Phil Maffa. Who's the first guy through all the 11-11 drills in the backfield in Seattle?
2:06It's George Polanyi. So there's names. There's new names to talk about, and there's some existing names which are now skull and crossboned on the draft board.
2:17So, right, you've got Alec Pierce, skull and crossbone.
2:20Should be at a skull and crossbone to Tet McMillan.
2:24There's a lot to talk about today. Dude, a lot to talk about.
2:29Before we get too deep into that, man, I just want to give you your flowers.
2:35You're such a legend. I love working with you.
2:38And I just got to let you know, every time I bring on someone on the show, they have an awesome story
2:47to tell me about how you're not a doucher.
2:50And you're a guy who's given them opportunities. Dave Kluge mentioned you were one of the first people to bring him on a show.
3:00I've heard everybody I bring on the show, I'm just blown away by the things they have to say about you.
3:08So I got to correct that. Just make sure everybody knows how good of a guy you are.
3:14Because you kind of come off like a villain sometimes in these.
3:19You've got a zest to you. But I just need the people to know, the podfather is the man.
3:26Thank you for joining the show. And first time on the Dynasty Deep Dive.
3:32And yeah, man, you've been doing a lot of really good work on our playerprofiler.com backslash news page.
3:39Man, like at least 10 fantasy relevant blurbs up there in the past 24 hours.
3:44Let's kick it off. What do you think is the single most underreported piece of news this season with the biggest Dynasty implications that people aren't talking about?
3:55Wow. So there's a lot there, man. So thank you, by the way, for that.
4:01Even last night, I was discussing with one of our great content creators on Team Player Profiler about coming on the show.
4:09And didn't have the right equipment yet. So I'm even getting out ahead and planning for people to be on the show
4:18even before they're ready to be on the show.
4:21I'm like, we've got to get you on the show.
4:25What is it going to take? Okay, need a microphone.
4:29Let's sit down. Let's talk about how we get you set up to be ready for prime time with your presentation.
4:37Because we know reading these articles by people like, you know, Wolf and so many of the great writers we have on playerprofiler.com.
4:46It's like writing is a great way to wire your brain to make strong arguments in favor of certain strategies and certain players.
4:54And that typically ends up translating well into the show, actually doing a podcast.
5:00So that's why I really like having writers on.
5:03Just got to make sure they get the right equipment set up and then we're ready to go.
5:10And yeah, I mean, Kluge is great. I mean, there's so many.
5:15I haven't been much of a heel on the podcast or social media in like five years.
5:21It's been a long time. This reputation really has carried over and I'm fine with it.
5:27I'm fine. There's a whole bunch of people out there that think I'm more bark than bite.
5:34And that's perfectly fine. And there's a whole bunch of other people out there that are like, oh, no, he does a
5:42lot more behind the scenes to help people than he does out in front.
5:48And so and that doesn't need to be broadcast.
5:51I don't really much care if people know that or not.
5:55But when I hear that it is getting back to you.
5:59And so that does make me feel good. I have to admit, dude.
6:04Yeah, no, you're not one to tout this stuff.
6:08So I had to clear I had to set the record straight for the people.
6:14Amen. I like doing this. Like, I clearly have an enthusiasm.
6:18The creation of player profiler dot com was born out of that enthusiasm for, you know, just better understanding these players, their
6:26performances and predicting, you know, who you should be drafting for your fantasy team, who you should be picking up for your fantasy team.
6:35But this is what it's been all about from the beginning.
6:40And I'm just as excited and enthusiastic, if not more so, because I have been working closely with the news team talking
6:48about what news matters and how that translates into the rankings.
6:52And then you see the dynasty rankings are being updated every day because of this.
6:58And then we're currently working on the draft kit, the world famous draft kit coach and I and Sam quarterbacking the draft
7:06kit with John and many others that, you know, on the team.
7:11That's going to be coming out very soon. We're hoping in the next week.
7:16So that's been a big investment of time updating the seasonal rankings, the tight end premium rankings, the best ball ranking.
7:24That's all coming very soon. As soon as we process these first couple of days of mandatory camp, there's so much information
7:33that's coming in and some of it really does matter.
7:37You know, Ted McMillan's foot still sore five months later.
7:40I don't like that at all. And I think that that matters.
7:45I think the thing that has actually reaped the most value in the last couple of weeks has been just knowing that
7:53George Halani is the guy until Zach Charbonnet comes back.
7:57That has been the least reported, most under the radar fact.
8:01And so when I look at it, I see that the player with the highest exposures, like I have more running backs
8:10per capita per fantasy team than any other position.
8:13And so the players that I had the highest ownership on are probably going to be running backs.
8:20And I think the two are Taj Brooks and George Halani.
8:24And very quickly, Phil Maffa, who I'm trying to scoop up and vacuum up everywhere I can right now.
8:32I just got him in another startup at the end of the at the very end of the draft.
8:39But for a few weeks, I knew that Halani was running ahead and penciled in ahead of Emmanuel Wilson.
8:46I mean, Emmanuel Wilson had like a one point five million dollar contract.
8:51Like when you're plugged into the news every day, you know, the contract values and how much sort of incumbent juice these players have.
9:00And actually, I think the fact that Halani's been with the team and the coaches and his teammates trust him is more
9:09important than the one point five million that Emmanuel Wilson commanded.
9:13And Halani is a little bit more explosive. So to me, there's absolutely no reason why Halani would run behind Wilson.
9:21And sure enough, official mandatory camp opens. And who's in the backfield behind Sam Darnold?
9:27George Halani. And then immediately, no coincidence, the next day, the coach comes out and says, oh, but Zach Charbonnet, he's ahead of schedule.
9:36He could be ready for week one. And at that point, you just see the nose grow like the nose.
9:44Just it almost is off the screen at this point.
9:48I mean, he's he's right there. He and Shane Steichen on the, you know, the coach speak index there.
9:55They I think they're dropping in the coach speak index because Shane Steichen tried to convince us.
10:01That Alec Pierce coming off a major ankle surgery in the spring with a four to six month recovery timeline.
10:09That somehow Alec Pierce would be ready for the second half of camp.
10:14And that is just blatantly not true. And so we use words like absurd with the news desk.
10:21If you go to player profile dot com slash news, you know, the analysis of what Shane Steichen said was it's absurd because we know the timeline.
10:31So that's that's the most recent revelation. That's the most impactful is that Alec Pierce likely to start the year on the pop.
10:40And that means Josh Downs would be top five in targets or at least top five in target share in the NFL.
10:48The first few weeks of the season. Tyler Warren and play to be the tight end one.
10:55That's what that means. That's really impactful. Yeah, but for me for my dynasty teams, I would say the George Halani news
11:03being out ahead of that was most helpful because I have him in all these leagues and now everyone's trying to go pick him up.
11:13And I can you can see him being drafted in all these startups now.
11:18You know where I'm like, I have been like 80 percent of leagues.
11:23So you would take you're taking this news and you're buying it.
11:28And if you're in a startup right now, you're taking.
11:32George Halani over Emmanuel Wilson. Yes, Johnny, I hear you.
11:35Just this is a hot take. Like the roster ships would not.
11:40You know what I mean? It hasn't corrected out there yet, right?
11:45No, this is why we're having this conversation now.
11:48Yeah, I mean, it came out yesterday. Reports came out yesterday.
11:52A mandatory camp just opened. And Emmanuel Wilson nowhere to be found.
11:57There's George Halani with the ones. That's all you need to know, man.
12:02I know that you think maybe the Cowboys love Malik Davis, but they can't lie when there's a camera on the sideline
12:10filming the first rep of 11 on 11 drill.
12:14And the guy in the backfield in the 11 on 11 drill, the first one of the season of the offseason is Phil Maffa.
12:23Then we have no choice but to put Maffa ahead of Malik Davis.
12:28Like Malik Davis had a had a had a lock on the RB to share anything.
12:34But completely fluid situation there in Dallas with the running back room behind Javante Williams.
12:40So now you're seeing Maffa starting to go many rounds ahead of where he was going just a couple days ago.
12:48Same thing. George Halani. Now everyone suddenly is wondering where he is.
12:52Is he available in my league? Oh, yeah, man.
12:56This is a Super Bowl winning team with a top 10 offensive line.
13:01Run first offense. And they are proudly run first, defense first, run first.
13:06Yeah. And George Halani fits their culture and their play style perfectly.
13:10Like he's a punch you in the mouth running back.
13:14Whereas Janarian Price is more of a finesse running back.
13:18And there's plenty of room for a rotational finesse running back to come in and get some carries, be a breather back,
13:26you know, be the main primary back for an entire drive.
13:31Come in and in a second and long situation.
13:34You're going to see some Janarian Price. But most of these running backs, most of them take a time.
13:41They take time to get fully integrated into these offenses.
13:45It's great to see that Janarian Price is getting some run with the ones.
13:51He's taking some snaps. They're calling some plays for him.
13:54They certainly have packages they want to see him in the packages they think they're going to be rolling out during the season.
14:03But Janarian Price is not an option as a primary back in year one.
14:09He wasn't a primary back in college. He's not going to be a primary back in year one at the NFL level.
14:17It's going to be Helani. And if Helani gets an injury, it'll be Wilson.
14:22And then when Zach Charbonnet returns, it's going to be him.
14:27And then the coach comes out and says, hey, Charbonnet could be ready for week one.
14:33No, we're going to call that out in the news desk as blatantly untrue.
14:38And don't believe that for a second. Look at the timeline.
14:42And you need to stretch out and strengthen a cadaver ligament in your knee.
14:48And it takes many, many months to do that.
14:51You can't just say, oh, well, it's healed. I'm back.
14:55No, you've got to stretch it out. You've got to strengthen it.
14:59You've got to get your whole body back into football shape.
15:04That's a weeks-long process. Alec Pierce. That's a weeks-long process.
15:07Zach Charbonnet. That's a weeks-long process. Malik Neighbors. And so just to be realistic about it and wonder, hey, when is Marvin Harrison Jr.
15:17going to see the field? When is he going to say that he's finally comfortable and enthusiastic about practice and pain-free?
15:25It's very strange to me. It's very strange to me that we're this many months from the season and Marvin Harrison Jr.
15:33is still talking about how he's working his way through a variety of lower body injuries.
15:39This guy seems to have picked up a new injury.
15:43I've learned about a new injury that he picked up last year every other day.
15:49It's wild. Meanwhile, Michael Wilson is just the healthiest, strongest, best-conditioned wide receiver in the NFC, or one of them.
15:56He's also one of the best-looking. And then you hear Brian Thomas Jr.
16:01talk about, last year, I was dealing with all these minor injuries, and I couldn't work on my strength and conditioning in the offseason.
16:11I couldn't integrate myself into the offense the way I wanted to because I was always dealing with problems that were sending me to the training table.
16:21That was my entire 2025 was spent in one way or another in the training room when I wasn't playing games.
16:29That's what Brian Thomas is saying. He says this offseason has been completely different.
16:34He's been relishing being out there and then going straight from the practice field to the gym.
16:41Right? So this is what he's loving doing. He thinks he's Dennis Rodman, right?
16:46Dennis Rodman would play in a game, and then he would go work out for two hours.
16:53That's how you become Dennis Rodman. So now we have these two wide receivers, similar age, similar production profiles, similar game styles.
17:01One seems to be a year ahead of the other.
17:05Right? Brian Thomas Jr., it seems like he's a year ahead of Marvin Harrison Jr., where Marvin Harrison Jr.
17:12seems to be trending toward having a Brian Thomas 2025-like season this year.
17:17Man, you touched on a lot there. We're going to get into almost every one of those position groups later in the show.
17:26I want to stick on that Seattle backfield for a second.
17:30You think about dynasty drafts, and there was a lot of people taking Jadarian Price ahead of guys like Tyson and Lemon.
17:39And I thought that was a malpractice, right? But you're a guy who's like, you just said it.
17:46You're running back first. You want to roster a lot of running backs on your dynasty league.
17:52But that's too rich for you, right? Especially when you're saying early reports at camp is he's not even the 1A.
18:00Do you know what this is? That's how much exposure to Jadarian Price you have?
18:06Zero. 0.0. He's best comparable to Miles Sanders. He is Miles Sanders.
18:10He is exactly Miles Sanders. He's a carbon copy of Miles Sanders.
18:15And I don't want Miles Sanders. Miles Sanders at least gave us one year at Penn State where he proved that he
18:23could be a primary back in the league. Jadarian Price hasn't even done that.
18:29He was only a first-round pick because the running back class was so shallow and pathetic behind his teammate.
18:36Two running backs from Notre Dame went in the first round.
18:40Why do you think that is? Because every other school wasn't producing running backs this year except Penn State.
18:48And that's where the value is. It's not with the Notre Dame running backs.
18:53Certainly not with Jadarian Price. Of course, I'm drafting Jeremiah Love with the 101 in Dynasty rookie drafts.
19:00But Jadarian Price is a fade. He is a strong fade.
19:04And the reason why is like this is very much a Clyde Edwards-Hilaire corollary.
19:09He's a more athletic version of Clyde Edwards-Hilaire where these players, they get steamed up in rookie drafts based on the situation they landed in.
19:19Not talent. Instead of like the fundamental player profile.
19:22He does not profile as a workhorse back in the league.
19:27Typically, first-round picks do. That's why it's so automatic to draft them.
19:31Because they almost all do. And so just draft them.
19:35Like Jameer Gibbs. Yeah, he's undersized. He's about 200 pounds.
19:39Yeah, but just draft him. Because yeah, he's that dynamic.
19:43He's that good. Jadarian Price is nowhere close to that.
19:46He's nowhere close. He is very much a faster Clyde Edwards-Hilaire.
19:51And no thank you. Like, no. No. He's going to be rolled out slowly.
19:56And then he's going to have a glaring Zach Charbonnet problem.
20:00He's not better than Zach Charbonnet in any way.
20:04Maybe he has like a pure slasher. Like I said, on second and 20, he's the guy you want back there.
20:12But that's a situational breather back. That's what he is.
20:16We're not even sure he can be a satellite back yet.
20:20And so that level of uncertainty, I'm going to light out.
20:24Pick 104. Pick 105. Pick 106 on fire. No.
20:27Give me those wide receivers. Give me Lemon. Give me Tyson.
20:32Give me Concepcion. Because if you don't put your wide receivers in round one, you have one guy you can realistically draft with confidence in round two.
20:42That's Ted Hurst. And then after that, you're just going to be drafting running backs, or in this case, tight ends this
20:50year, just because as much as you talk yourself into Cyrus Allen, there are so many of you.
20:57Hell yeah. There's such a low probability that the math never makes sense on receivers drafted outside round two.
21:05And often the round two wide receivers flame out as well.
21:09So you have an opportunity to get a Concepcion, to get a Makai Lemon, and you pass?
21:15That's a mistake. Yeah. No sitting on the fence with you, man.
21:20I think that's what your viewers love. Just clear, actionable advice for these guys.
21:25So that's fantastic. You were talking before the show.
21:29I'm going to pull this up. You were doing a recent Dynasty rookie draft.
21:34We're going to show that on the screen here.
21:37Talk to me a little bit about what's going on.
21:41This team is abysmal. This is a total teardown team in the Kings Classic.
21:47Some heavy hitters here. Lord Reeves, Cody, Ray G, Dynasty Rich, Ryan McDowell, Alan Soslowski, Pat Fitzmaurice.
21:53Oh! The who's who. Daniel. Chris Allen's in there.
21:57How do you get invited to something like this?
22:00I don't know. But Cody is someone. Maybe Allen.
22:04I think it might have been Allen. Allen's a mover and a shaker, really.
22:09So this team was totally dead. It did have Lamar.
22:13It had some pieces. And on the Trade God Show with Coach, we've been talking about this league and some of the trades I've been making.
22:23Huge blockbuster deals where I dealt Tootin and Jordan Love for future first rounders.
22:28I traded Lamar. Right? Lamar and the 103, which became Carnell Tate.
22:33The giant trade for future first rounders and players.
22:36So you traded that pick. Yeah. I mean, it was tough.
22:40It was tough to trade Carnell Tate. I don't want to trade Carnell Tate.
22:46I just drafted Carnell Tate in another rookie draft.
22:49I have a lot of Carnell Tate and a lot of Mendoza.
22:54And so I felt like, okay, I've got plenty of exposure to Carnell Tate.
22:59And I can't just win this league eventually with Carnell Tate.
23:03I need lots of pieces. So I kept the 102, traded the 103, drafted Mendoza at the 102.
23:10And then in that deal, I also got the 109.
23:14So I use that on Ty Simpson because I have very little quarterback play left after I traded Lamar Jackson.
23:22Uh, so, uh, the, the cupboard is Barrett quarterback for this team.
23:26Then at the 102 or 202, 102 was Mendoza.
23:30109 was Ty Simpson. 202 was Chris Bell. I want to, you took Chris Bell over Ted Hurst there, which is interesting.
23:38Cause you mentioned third round wide receivers. You can get excited about.
23:43Yeah. But I mean, Chris Bell is never going to make it to the third round.
23:49I was talking about, there are two, two and a half really Antonio Williams in certain situations and certainly when now builds,
23:57I would draft him in round two, but I am almost always going with a Singleton or even an Emmett Johnson over an Antonio Williams.
24:07Chris Bell is on Singleton at two Oh two.
24:10Actually, you're a big Singleton guy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
24:14Well, the reason why is this is a, whenever you are sitting down and strategizing a dynasty league, you have to ask the question.
24:23One of the first questions, which year do I think I can compete?
24:28Now in a startup, you generally want to ask, you want to ask that question after round two, pretty much after you've
24:36completed round two, you want to look at your team and say, okay, which direction am I leaning with my next, say three or four picks?
24:46My leaning 2026 or my leaning 2027. And then it may be the case that the players available in the third, fourth
24:55and fifth rounds force you to go in now or force you to go and, and do, do a youth takeover for
25:03the first year, you know, youth onslaught. But generally after a few rounds of a startup, you need to make that decision.
25:11And when I'm taking over these orphans, it took over 20 orphans in 20 days.
25:17As you know, I had to decide, okay, what am I going to do with two of the orphans?
25:24I can compete because they were abandoned for a reason.
25:28Most of them I'm circling either 2027 or 2028.
25:32In some cases, this was one of those teams that was so bad.
25:37And there's like four super teams at the top of the league that it wasn't realistic for me to compete even next year.
25:46So I had to circle 2028, which made it so that I, I highly valued Ty Simpson.
25:52And I, I very much valued Chris Bell because I think Chris Bell 2028 is going to be his breakout season, right?
26:00The new quarterback in Miami will be a sophomore in 2028.
26:05And Chris Bell will be years past years removed from his knee injury and recovery.
26:10So if you have a long-term outlook for your team, Chris Bell is perfect.
26:16And, you know, I would end up losing those couple seasons, those early, you know, year one, year two for a running
26:24back like Nick Singleton is very valuable, but it really wouldn't be valuable for this roster.
26:30Right. So I have plenty of Singleton across all my teams.
26:34So I, I was like, I think this is, this is a great opportunity for me to go Chris Bell.
26:42And I didn't go Ted Hearst because in another trade that I did with Ryan McDowell, where I traded Jordan Love and
26:51Basial Tootin among others, it was a blockbuster deal.
26:54I did get the 211 in that deal. And I wanted to give myself a chance to get Ted Hearst at the 211.
27:03I thought there was a 25% chance he would make it.
27:07And then in the, in the second half of this draft, in the second round, it went Surratt Beck, Emmett Johnson, the 209, Katron Allen at the 210.
27:18And then I got Ted Hearst at the 211.
27:21So I was considering Hearst at the 202, but for game theory reasons, I thought there was a possibility I could get him at the 211.
27:31So I got to, I got to roll the dice.
27:35Stribbling didn't even enter your mind, huh? Ah! No.
27:38Swindling? No, no, no. Ted Hearst, I think on our dynasty rankings, Ted Hearst has doubled the lifetime value of Stribbling.
27:46Yeah. Yeah. Well, I love it, man. As we saw, as we just talked about, Jadarian Price at the 104 in this format, ahead of Tyson and Lemon.
27:57We don't agree with it, right? No, no shade to the drafter there, but...
28:03Ahead of Concepcion as well. Yeah. Ahead of Sadiq and Titan Premium.
28:07I wouldn't do that either. Oh, it's Titan Premium.
28:11Yeah, man, that's rich. It's just so rich. I get it.
28:15You need to hit on running backs. There's positional scarcity, all of that stuff.
28:20Go figure it out outside of your draft, in my opinion, right?
28:25Okay. You're on the clock next here, but I see in the fourth round, you took Justin Jolie and total stud, right?
28:33Is it Jolie or Jolly? People will call it Jolly, but it's Jolie.
28:38Oh, it's Jolie. Yeah, Justin Jolie. Oh, man. I just did the sign of truth with Cody, and there's always a handful
28:47of players who are like, what is the pronunciation?
28:50What is it again? Is it HN? Is it ETN?
28:54What is it? Yeah, I can get you caught up in the third round.
28:59After I took Ted Hirsch at the 211, I ended up taking Kalen Black at the 309.
29:06That's where my next pick was. Oh, you took Black?
29:10Yep. Got Kalen Black, the last running back that really, I think, has a chance to produce anytime soon.
29:17With Kalen Black at the 309, he's, you know, day two pick.
29:21No interest in Adam Randall there being handpicked by the Ravens owner.
29:26No, Black was a day two pick. Oh, I know.
29:30And he's behind. So is DeZon Swindling. Well, it matters much more for running back to be a day two pick.
29:38No, I agree. And with Kalen Black, you know, he's behind one of the most injury-prone running backs that's ever existed.
29:46Okay, she'll stop. And then the RB2 there, Jordan James, is not proven.
29:51So he's an unproven Jordan James behind the most injury-prone running back of our times.
29:57So I thought that was a slam dunk to go Kalen Black there.
30:02And then you're right. In round four, I went Justin Jolie at the 402, and then Tanner Kosial at the 403.
30:10So in back-to-back tight ends, Jolie Kosial, the news on Jolie has been incredible.
30:15Every other day, you're seeing something written coming out of Denver about Jolie is impressing.
30:21Jolie looks like a better, younger, faster version of Evan Ingram.
30:25There's injuries to other tight ends. They had a seventh round that they drafted last year, and he's been out recently, and
30:33he's going to be out for the next couple weeks.
30:37He had to have a procedure in his lower body.
30:41So that, again, moves Jolie up, gives him yet more reps with the ones and the twos.
30:47So there's momentum really building for Jolie to be that move tight end, that joker in Denver.
30:54And then Kosial, man, he's the second-best receiving tight end they have in Jacksonville, and he's going to slot in right behind Brenton Strange.
31:03And I love that positioning for him. And then at the 409, Seth McGowan.
31:09Just because if you were a running back and you were drafted at that point, I need to be drafting you.
31:17I need to be putting you on my fantasy team.
31:20The only other running back that is available that was drafted is Jam Miller.
31:26Gross. So gross. Eli Heidenreich, right? He's getting some early steam out of camp.
31:31Mike McCarthy's saying he's loving what he's seeing there.
31:35Oh, Heidenreich's gone. Oh, he was gone before. Heidenreich went to 405, and actually Jam Miller went in that same area.
31:43Yeah, you're out of. So, yeah, it was actually, I totally overlooked Jam Miller.
31:48I thought he was in my queue. I thought he was up next.
31:53And he's already drafted. This is a very savvy group.
31:57So my decision is going to come down to Matt Hibner versus Dion Burks.
32:02So, again, the big, big news is that Alec Pierce is looking at a four- to six-month recovery, a likely pup stint,
32:11even though the coaches continue to lie about it and pretend that he's going to be back in camp, right?
32:18He's going to be. We're going to see him in camp.
32:22Don't worry. Wrong. Wrong. You have one new message.
32:26Translating. Disney and Pixar's Hoppers is now available on Disney+.
32:30You could say that again. Critics are calling it Pixar's funniest movie ever and a wildly entertaining ride.
32:37Blizzard Potato. It's certified fresh and verified hot. Now we party.
32:41This is incredible! Wow. I am clear in the rest of the day.
32:46Disney and Pixar's Hoppers, now available on Disney+. Rated PG.

33:27So, investing in Josh Downs is the best thing you could possibly do.
33:32150 target Josh Downs. That's the world we're going to live in this year.
33:37Just wait for it. And top three tight end Tyler Warren.
33:42Those are the big, big winners from this news about Alec Pierce.
33:46Ashton Doolin is going to get some run. Ashton Doolin could have a spike week or two.
33:53And then that also means that Deion Burks has a chance to be a guy behind a guy.
34:00Now, would you rather have that or would you rather have Matt Hibner, who I believe is the best receiving tight end beyond Mark Andrews in Baltimore?
34:10And so, with Isaiah Likely now gone, they vacated tight end targets in Baltimore.
34:15They trade up with a purpose to get Matt Hibner.
34:19In tight end premium, I have Hibner over Deion Burks.
34:23Even though Deion Burks was drafted, he was a super athlete when he worked out.
34:29And he is on the right depth chart, wide open depth chart in Indianapolis.
34:34But Burks was not productive enough for me to give him credit for being an NFL breakout, where Matt Hibner absolutely could
34:42just slot right into that Andrews role if Andrews misses time.
34:47Yeah. No, all really good points. And, you know, let's stick on tight ends for a little bit, because one of the
34:55guys I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on is Kyle Pitts, man.
35:00We talked about, you know, I got the playerprofiler.com backslash news up.
35:05Again, a lot of really good news on here from our team.
35:09And this talks about him running an expanded route tree, right?
35:13A lot of, you know, crossers and underneath routes.
35:17He's been playing the past few seasons and running that more expanded route tree.
35:22Super interesting for a guy as athletic as him.
35:26I think he's a slept on guy in Dynasty because so many people were burned by him for so long.
35:33That I'm seeing him as a screaming value this offseason.
35:37I'm curious where you see Pitts in the grand scheme of, like, tight end landscape.
35:43Is he a value at his current ADP in startups and Dynasty?
35:48Or are you still kind of skeptic? I am way out in front.
35:53I am way out in front. You're all in.
35:56Kyle Pitts. Oh, yes. I'm all in too, man.
35:59I'm right there with you. Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
36:04Kyle Pitts in tight end premium. And I'm in multiple tight end super premium leagues.
36:09I am just all over Kyle Pitts. Like I would I can put this up on the screen.
36:16I'm sharing my screen right now. Look at a recent startup that I just completed.
36:22Okay. Look at this. You know the super flex.
36:25I started at the 110. This is six points per passing touchdown.
36:30I went Justin Herbert. It's also tight end super premium.
36:34So I went Brock Bowers, the 203. That's found a bunny, man.
36:38That's found money. Came back to me. I got sniped on Carnell Tate.
36:43I wanted Carnell Tate bad at the 310. I ended up getting sniped on him.
36:49Great pick by Deuce NFL there. So I ended up with Fannin just based on the scoring system.
36:56Fannin was the most valuable piece on the board.
37:00And then Olave. And then I drafted Olave. And then at the 510, having two tight ends already on the roster, my friend.
37:08Who do you think I selected at the 510?
37:12It goes Kenneth Walker. It goes Kyron Williams. It goes Jordan Love in super flex.
37:18Tight end super premium. Barkley, Scadaboo, Goff, Irving still on the board.
37:22Who did I select? Kyle Pitts, baby. Kyle Pitts.
37:26Young. Young. Kyle Pitts. Worst days behind him, man.
37:29Tyler Shook right after. I love it, man. I'm actually just did a Dynasty startup with a couple other content creators.
37:37And those were my... I took them in the 6-7 and 6-8.
37:42I had back-to-back picks. I traded back because I saw a lot of value in that sixth round in that area.
37:50I think I traded like a fourth to get those two different picks.
37:55So, man, I'm rooting for this team. I love Jalen Coker on there, too.
38:00We just talked about the Ted Arone-McMillan issues, the injury issues.
38:04I've got some bold predictions out there that Jalen Coker could outproduce Garrett Wilson this year.
38:10That just entered my head. And I was like, that's wild, but I'm kind of standing on business with it.
38:18Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I could see Michael Wilson and Jalen Coker just holding hands.
38:24They're the same guy. The exact same player, profile-wise.
38:28You look at him, size, athleticism, everything. Jalen Coker's a small school Michael Wilson.
38:33And I did happen to draft in two other leagues when this draft, because I was drafting five startups all concurrently.
38:41I had just drafted Scadaboo in two teams. And I had Scadaboo and a bunch of other orphans.
38:48So, it was really, I think, 51-49, I go Scadaboo there.
38:52I would really want Scadaboo. But this is also a best ball, best ball format.
38:58Oh, okay. And these tight ends with tight end super premium, where they're getting two points per reception, when they put up
39:06a huge performance, then all three of them can slot into the starting lineup.
39:12Because we have two flex positions. So, there's going to be a reality, probably several weeks, where Bowers, Fannin, and Pitts all enter my lineup.
39:21But it would be nice. It would be nice to have an anchor RB for a best ball team, for Dynasty.
39:29It was very close. But the value on Kyle Pitts at age 25, where they're going to basically put him at X a lot this year.
39:39He's going to be playing X receiver. He's one of the tight ends that's played the most X receiver in the NFL.
39:48And they're only talking about expanding his route tree.
39:51And he's in a contract year. He's betting on himself.
39:55I mean, this is a screaming Kyle Pitts in every league year.
39:59And so, for me, I was like, because it's tight end super premium, because of the situation that he's in, and it's
40:08best ball, I just need to make sure that Kyle Pitts is always a threat to enter my lineup.
40:15And I also already have a bunch of Scadaboo, who would be my other option.
40:21And with the next pick, I was able to stack Chuck with Olave in best ball.
40:27I also stacked Mayfield with Ted Hurst in this league.
40:31And I stacked Justin Herbert with Trey Harris. So I have backdoor stacks and front door stacks up and down this roster.
40:39I am curious how you landed the plane at running back, though.
40:44I see Hubbard and Samson as your top two.
40:47Let's go a little further. Right, right. So, again, this was a very big decision.
40:53And I went Pitts just because he shouldn't be there.
40:57And it was best player available. And it was not based on need.
41:02It was based on best player available. And if I'm going to preach that...
41:07You got to do it. If I'm going to preach that method, well, then I need to eat at my own restaurant, don't I?
41:16Yeah. If this is the advice I'm serving, then I should be the first one to sit down and take a bite.
41:25Okay? So, I mean, Chuck Mayfield, I had to get Mayfield.
41:29I mean, I rarely wait that long in my QB3.
41:33And he was just hanging around, hanging around. Stroud, gone.
41:37Murray, gone. Goff, gone. Somehow Mayfield. A few picks within Bryce Young.
41:41Like, that's when you know you are hitting. Right?
41:45Like, that's the value. Can you believe somebody in a super flex league drafted Jadarian Price over Baker Mayfield?
41:52I mean, I just can't believe it. Like, that's so shocking to me.
41:57And then the other receivers I drafted after Mayfield, Christian Watson, he accrued value immediately because he got the big contract.
42:05Terry McLaurin. So, this team happens to be a team featuring multiple receivers who are running expanded featured route trees this year.
42:13See, the Terry McLaurin route tree is interesting. Usually, they post them up on the left.
42:19They say, hey, you're our full-time X and you're running the X receiver route tree.
42:25And that is it and that is all. Even though Terry McLaurin is like a sports car.
42:32He handles great. He can run any route. And so, instead of just posting him up on the left, they're saying, no,
42:40no, we want to get him the ball. We don't just want him to play the best X receiver that he can play.
42:49Our offense revolves around getting the ball to Terry McLaurin.
42:53He's by far and away our best weapon on offense other than our quarterback.
42:58So, what are we going to do? We're going to turn him into a queen chess piece.
43:05And there's a news item on playerprofile.com slash news.
43:08It says Terry McLaurin in queen chess piece role.
43:12That's a similar role that they're putting Kyle Pitts.
43:15They're going to be putting Kyle Pitts in motion, trying to find the matchup to exploit.
43:21That's how they're going to use Kyle Pitts this year.
43:25And that's how Washington is going to use McLaurin.
43:28That's why I love McLaurin. He's only 30. He and Godwin are 30 years old.
43:34They have three good years left. And they are smashes in Dynasty.
43:39Couldn't agree more. Love it. Let's talk about Watson a little bit, man.
43:44Because to your point, you draft him there. His value has gone up after getting that huge contract.
43:51I almost feel like it's time to sell though, man.
43:54A guy has never been over like 800 receiving yards as a pro.
43:59Never been over 800 receiving yards in college, I don't think.
44:04I mean, this is a guy who you could potentially turn into a Cam Scadaboo maybe.
44:10And you could trade him for a couple rounds of accrued value, right?
44:15And fill that running back hole that you have a little bit there.
44:20So I'm just talking out loud. Because for me, Christian Watson becomes an interesting sell candidate with this recent contract extension.
44:28Are you looking at it like that at all?
44:31Or are you all in on him? I mean, look at the McLaurin pick.
44:37Look at the players that went prior to McLaurin.
44:40RJ Harvey. Brenton Strange. Again, tight end super premium.
44:43Parker Washington. Good pick. Also about to get a contract and will accrue value.
44:49Malik Willis. Bridge quarterback. Dalton Kincaid playing on one PCL.
44:53Matthew Golden. Who does not profile as a thousand yard receiver in the NFL in any way, shape or form.
45:00Based on his college production. And Omar Cooper Jr.
45:04Who is redundant with Garrett Wilson and running as the clear wide receiver three at best.
45:10In Jets camp. So that's just to put the Terry McLaurin pick in context.
45:15After McLaurin, I finally did go running back. I went Chuba Hubbard.
45:20He Chuba Hubbard and Jonathan Brooks are awesome best ball running backs because you're not going to know which weeks to start which guy.
45:29I think they're both going to play a lot, but it's a run first team.
45:35And so just let the computer decide when Chuba Hubbard enters your lineup.
45:40Same thing with Dylan Sampson. That's a best ball pick.
45:43Emmitt Johnson. That's my next running back. Best ball pick.
45:47Braylon Allen. Ollie Gordon. I am going to load up on running back.
45:52I'm going to have probably eight receivers and 12 running backs on this roster.
45:58So when you decide to go zero RB, you need to go zero RB, which is what I did.
46:05I went full zero RB, but that means also not being able to draft some of the value plays at the end of the at the end.
46:15When, you know, a Rashid Shaheed falls to me in in another build, I'm able to I'm able to go ahead and push the button on him.
46:26But when you go zero RB, you fill up your wide receiver room, your wide receiver group faster.
46:32And then you can't take advantage of some of the value that falls your way.
46:38So there is some there is some shortcomings to the.
46:42Zero RB structure. But this this zero RB structure was not necessarily done with a purpose from the beginning.
46:49It was just based on the fact that this league was steaming up running backs.
46:55And everywhere I turned, the running backs available were not good value until we got to Chuba Hubbard, until we got to
47:03Dylan Sampson, until we got to Emmitt Johnson. Now I'm soaking up all this running back value.
47:10And because it's best ball, we're going to have George Helani.
47:14We're going to have like these placeholder starters, guys that can score touchdowns, guys that can catch some passes any given week.
47:23And we will piece together because it's so deep.
47:26This particular league, 29 rounds. We're going to piece together some running back production just with lineups, sheer volume, just throwing bodies at the problem.
47:36So that's what I wanted to do. I wanted to find a draft.
47:41And a league with that with the teams were very deep.
47:4528 to 30 rounds. Go zero RB and see what happens if I pile into like 12 running backs.
47:52Can we get two of them to hit every week?
47:56Yeah. In best ball, I absolutely love this strategy that you're pursuing.
48:01And I think it's super fun that we were able to talk through this with the viewers.
48:07I think you dodged the Watson question a little bit.
48:11I did. Well, I am not in a hurry to trade Christian Watson.
48:16But I understand the logic. My problem is someone has to catch passes in Green Bay.
48:22And that someone is very unlikely to be Matthew Golden.
48:26And Tucker Craft is not going to be 100% until like November at the earliest.
48:32So you're going to have a limited Tucker Craft for the first half of the season.
48:38He might be out there. Now he says he's 100%.
48:41And he says he's not limited. I understand that.
48:45We posted that news item. He claims that. It's just not realistic.
48:49That's just not how human anatomy works. So his flexibility and strength will not be where it was until November.
48:57That's just a fact. So now what does that mean?
49:01That means that when Jordan Love, who has a huge arm, steps back to throw, I think the two receivers he's going
49:09to be most interested in throwing the ball to each and every play is going to be Jaden Reed and Christian Watson.
49:18That's why my projections and our projections on player profiler for Christian Watson and Jaden Reed are ahead of consensus.
49:25They don't profile as target hog receivers. But in the context of this offense with a run first running back, right?
49:34A grinder back in Josh Jacobs. There's very few good options for where you can allocate the target share.
49:41It's going to have to go to Christian Watson.
49:44And the routes he runs are deep. So you're dialing up targets.
49:49Best ball to that guy with one of the deepest target depths on average in the league.
49:55And he's very efficient. And he came back and performed at a high level from a torn ACL faster than most people.
50:04Yeah. So he was one of those exceptions where there was not a downtick in the efficiency in his first year back.
50:12There almost always is. So now all of a sudden I'm like, wow, man.
50:18Christian Watson's built different. He's not quite the same as every running back or every receiver that goes through this ACL recovery.
50:26And he finally is being put in a position where instead of giving us one huge month, he could give us one huge year.
50:35So there's no way I'm trading him right now.
50:39I love it, man. Stick to your guns, man.
50:42What an insight. Jaden Reed, same thing. I actually have just as much Jaden Reed as I do Christian Watson.
50:50Yeah. I mean, Jaden Reed is almost a carbon copy of the analysis.
50:55Yeah. A hundred percent. High upside players shown us enough to get excited.
51:00Haven't seen him string it together for a full season.
51:03Right. But they haven't commanded the big target shares yet, but one of those two could.
51:10They're certainly capable. Yeah, man. Great. First half of the show.
51:14I'm super excited for the second half. We're going to get into some of the pod fathers, historical.
51:21My guys where they are today. We're going to talk through other new.
51:26My guys on your radar. Some of the funniest pod father moments in the show's history.
51:32So do not go anywhere. What does player profiler do best?
51:36Dynasty. We have the best dynasty rankings there are.
51:39Oh, they have Titan premium. Oh, it's super flex.
51:43Oh, but also win now mode versus rebuild mode.
51:46The most sophisticated best rankings using player profiler data that exist in the world are available on playerprofiler.com.
51:53Big surprise. That's right. There's a trade analyzer to know, should I make this trade or not?
52:00And then there's a trade finder. There's dynasty league sync.
52:04There's an ADP tracker, all the tools dynasty league players need.
52:08So get it now. It's $45, not per month, per year.
52:12So let's go start building super teams. Tomorrow morning is knocking.
52:16Stock your fridge now. How about a creamy mocha frappuccino drink?
52:20Or a sweet vanilla. Smooth caramel, maybe. Or white chocolate mocha.
52:25Whichever you choose, delicious coffee awaits. Find Starbucks frappuccino drinks wherever you buy your groceries.

52:58Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. I'm an absolute whore for Player Profilers Dynasty Deluxe Package.
53:05I'm playing with the different functionality in there every day.
53:09Shout out to the Podfather for the legendary ads.
53:12Rest in peace, my guy Memphis Young, man. Every time we would play an ad during one of our shows together, he'd
53:20give you 15, 20 seconds of just telling that you're the best in the business at that, man.
53:27And so great to have you on the show.
53:31Like I said, let's get into some of this stuff.
53:35I want to drill straight into the Matt's my guys, right?
53:39The Podfather's my guys historically. Starting off, I got to go with Brock Bowers.
53:44Like I don't know if I've heard you explicitly say that you're hooking your hat to him, but like I see a
53:53lot of quotes from you saying we're taking him in the first round.
53:58I just saw a startup where you're taking him as soon as you can.
54:03Talk to me about what Brock Bowers means to you.
54:07Brock Bowers is just the rarest of the rare.
54:10He went at the 102 in a startup I'm in.
54:14I've taken him as early as the 104. So if I put this up on the screen, 104.
54:21I took Brock Bowers. It went Josh Allen, B.
54:24John Robinson, Drake May, Brock Bowers. So, yeah, I'm very bullish on Brock Bowers.
54:30He's very young. He's been commanding Justin Jefferson-like targets.
54:33And he's only 23 years old and there's no target competition.
54:37And this is a tight end super premium draft.
54:41So many of these startups, they're tight end super premium where it's two points for a tight end reception.
54:48Some of these leagues, they give tight ends points for first downs.
54:53And they're the only ones. They give them an extra first down bonus, whatever it is.
54:59Because Bowers is going to compete with all of the NFL's top receivers, regardless of position.
55:05And then that he has this incredible tight end designation where someone else has to roll out Jake Ferguson every week.
55:13Brenton Strange every week. That guy's first tight end, yeah.
55:17Dalton Kincaid every week. I mean, I feel bad.
55:20And what I absolutely love doing is what I did in this draft, which was to take control of the board.
55:28I like to take control of the board with either a second or third tight end drafted in super premium.
55:36Tight end super premium. Or by being the first to draft a third quarterback.
55:41In one draft, I was the first to do both.
55:45So I took Kyle Pitts in that draft we had up earlier as my third tight end.
55:52But then I also was the first to get a third quarterback in Baker Mayfield.
55:57So I took control of the board in a big, big way.
56:02And I've had a stranglehold on that draft doing whatever I want ever since.
56:07It's true. It's true. Because now again, because now everyone's panicking about tight end and quarterback.
56:13What am I doing? Taking all the running backs.
56:17That's what. And that's that's that was the setup with this zero RB bill that I think is going to work out.
56:25As we talked about. We have a Brock Bowers.
56:29I'm very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very bullish on him.
56:34What more would you want? I mean, my daughter and my wife are going to see no doubt at the sphere.
56:42And and I was like, I was like, we shouldn't have to pay for these tickets.
56:48Because I own sphere stock. I was I invested in it last year.
56:53Just just everybody that goes to Vegas is their favorite thing about it is going to the sphere.
57:00And then now they're opening up spheres and franchising them around the world.
57:05And I'm like, OK, it seems like a pretty good thing to to invest in.
57:11I I'm not a financial advisor, so I'm not here to make any kind of financial advice or give advice about any stocks.
57:20That's 100 percent your decision. I'm not an expert in that area in any way.
57:25I'm not a licensed broker. Don't do what I do or say at all.
57:31But I just have to, you know, with full disclosure, let you know that I am a shareholder there.
57:38My family's going and they're going to see no doubt.
57:42And they're looking at merch and hey, dad, we want to buy you something.
57:47And I'm like, I got an idea. Why don't you guys buy me a Brock Bowers jersey?
57:54That's what you're doing in Vegas. Full stop. Brock Bowers jersey.
57:58Sphere is up 284 percent in the last year, man.
58:02Full stop. I've done well. It's good. It's good.
58:05It's good. It was just no Carvana, right? But it's good.
58:09It's good. It's good. Well, yeah. So the Brock Bowers love is real for sure.
58:15And I also really love Tyler Warren, though. I mean, I love them both equally now based on value.
58:22Tyler Warren's even better value because of this Alec Pierce injury and the law of the conservation of targets.
58:30Another guy that you would have to say is my guy.
58:34I'm getting in multiple startups. The guy that I've drafted so often.
58:39I've traded for multiple trades on trade gods with coach.
58:42We've talked about it. And now things are just breaking my way.
58:47This has been a great week for the Pod Fathers Dynasty teams is Josh.
58:52Josh Downs. And I'm so proud of Josh Downs because he's not big.
58:57Typically, if you're 5'8", I would say you're such an outlier that there's so few 5'8 receivers that have ever broken out
59:06that just on the math, I would fade that player.
59:10I remember there was a player named Andrew Hawkins.
59:13And I faded him based on the fact that there was never a player that small who had ever put up a breakout season in the NFL.
59:23And another reason why I wasn't into Tavon Austin.
59:27I was just like, these guys are too small.
59:30I know they're joysticks. I know the NFL is fascinated by these human joystick players.
59:36But sometimes a player is just too small. And I was tempted to tag Josh Downs with that label.
59:43And then I looked at his production, his age-adjusted production in college.
59:48It was so stunning. And to know that he has the NCAA record for receptions as a sophomore.
59:55I didn't know that. Wow. Okay, if you're that level of record-breaking target earner and you are very athletic, it is absolutely possible for you to break through.
60:05And actually, Tank Dell taught me that. Because I saw Tank Dell at the Senior Bowl.
60:12I looked at him and I said, no fucking way.
60:15Too tiny. I looked at him. I was like, look at him.
60:20He's like a stool. He's a piece of furniture.
60:23This guy's so tiny. You know? And I'm like, what is...
60:28There's no way. And then sure enough, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing.
60:32He's like a pinball. He's all over the place.
60:36The guy's on another level putting guys on skates at the Senior Bowl.
60:41And then he was really productive. One of the most productive rookie receivers a couple years ago was CJ Stroud.
60:48And I was like, okay. Okay. It's possible. I've seen it with my own eyes.
60:54I've seen it. I have seen the lot. And so I was like, okay.
60:59I'm not going to let it. I'm not going to let that happen again.
61:05I'm not going to be behind on Tank Dell or the next Tank Dell ever again.
61:11I'm not going to let the fact that a player is an unprecedented outlier in terms of size or body configuration, athleticism, whatever.
61:20I'm not going to fall for that. I'm certainly going to factor it in.
61:25But I'm not going to put them on a do not draft list.
61:30And then if they continue to earn targets and they continue to produce.
61:35And then you have to eventually come to the decision that this is the player I like.
61:41And then so there's like this multi-year process where I'm just falling in love with Josh Downs.
61:48And then I'm seeing all the target competition fall away.
61:52And I'm like, oh my, I need this player.
61:55No one like you, man, can weave, right? Like I talk about Brock Bowers.
62:01You're like, yeah, I like Brock Bowers. But how about Josh Downs, right?
62:06So we got another brand new entry on Matt's My Guys.
62:10Josh Downs. Let's pull up his profile. Let's see what you got for us here.
62:16Best comparable player, Emmanuel Sanders. I like that. Emmanuel Sanders, very athletic, also small.
62:21But had multiple thousand yard seasons. He is dynamic.
62:24He gets tagged as a slot receiver. Right? There's all this Josh Downs propaganda that he's not, doesn't, he doesn't possess the
62:33upside to really give a shit about him in fantasy.
62:37And just wait. Just wait. Just imagine Wandale Robinson, but with more downfield playmaking ability and touchdown scoring ability.
62:44That's actually a very, very valuable asset in fantasy football.
62:48If you had Wandale Robinson with more downfield dynamism and touchdown scoring opportunities.
62:53We love it. We love Josh Downs. Another guy you mentioned earlier.
62:57I believe you called him handsome. I know you saw this guy at the senior bowl.
63:03I don't know if there's a bigger fan or person advocating for Michael Wilson than Matt Kelly, the podfather.
63:11Talk to me a little bit about, I mean, this isn't just, oh, this happened last night for you or even last year.
63:19I'm pretty sure you've been a longtime believer in this guy.
63:24Can you just share a little more light as to why he's a my guy for you?
63:30Well, we talked about how certain analysts come along in the industry and we click and or I provide them with a solid.
63:39They do us a favor, whatever it is. Great relationship.
63:43R.C. Fisher is one of those guys. Right. And there are just a handful of people out there that I have on every year, like clockwork, Lord Reeves.
63:54I trust them. When Lord Reeves says. Deshaun Watson's dust, that Deshaun Watson is a throwback player and that for various reasons,
64:02he's just not going to be able to produce fantasy points because he doesn't have the arm strength.
64:09He doesn't have the legs and he's not even able to run an offense the way that modern NFL offensive coordinators demand
64:17their offenses be run with the timing patterns that are required.
64:21That's just not a strength of Deshaun Watson, that all of his previous strengths have been nullified and only has left or weaknesses.
64:30So for that reason, you're simply burning a hole in your roster, even in Superflex by even rostering this guy.
64:38So when I hear that, I'm like, OK, if you feel that strongly and you're one of our sort of sharpest content
64:46partners and colleagues of all time, a guy like Rich Rebar, then that's just the truth.
64:52I'm just penciling it, penciling it in as here's what's true, actually putting it in ink.
64:59OK, because you can't erase it. That's like a George Bushism.
65:03Why do we use it? Can't erase it. So with Michael Wilson.
65:07Who loved Michael Wilson the most? Not me. R.C.
65:11Fisher. R.C. Fisher. R.C. Fisher predicted that Michael Wilson would end up with a more productive career in the NFL than Marvin Harrison Jr.
65:20When Marvin Harrison Jr. Was Marvin Harrison Jr. Coming out of Ohio State top five pick Marvin Harrison Jr.
65:27Hottest take probably you've ever had on your show.
65:31I remember. I got a thousand retweets. Like people were like, this is the hottest shit.
65:37But it was all negative. It was all quote tweets where.
65:41Yeah, so it's funny how Twitter just counts quote tweets and retweets the same.
65:46But they're not the same. You know, there's a big difference between reposting something just because you agree with it and reposting
65:55something because you disagree with it or you want to make fun of it.
66:00So most of the reposts were quote tweets. Mocking the take.
66:04Yes. Yes. And yet he has had the last laugh.
66:08And at the Senior Bowl, a Senior Bowl that was packed with talent.
66:13We're talking about Pukunakua, Tank Dell, Jaden Reed, many others.
66:17It was widely agreed by everyone I talked to from Faraz to the roster watch guys, Ray Garvin, many others that the
66:25guy with the best feet at the Senior Bowl was clearly Michael Wilson.
66:30Fastest, best feet. And this is a guy that's 6'3".
66:34Right. He's 215. And I'm like, this guy, this is Michael Pittman 2.0.
66:39This is a faster, quicker Michael Pittman. That's pretty good.
66:43For fantasy, that's 150 targets, like 1,200 yards and seven touchdowns.
66:47That's what that is. And so I'm like, I'm very bullish on this guy.
66:53Then there's, you have Marvin Harrison Jr. on the other side saying, I'm going to, at every point, underperform my profile.
67:01Everything that he's done to this point suggests he wants to be that guy, but he can't be.
67:08Right. This is a class. This seems like a classic case of the prodigal son just wasn't quite up for it.
67:16Right. Where everyone's thinking, hey, this guy's going to take over the company.
67:21From the dad. And then they, they put him in that chair and he just melts.
67:27That seems to be what's happening with Marvin Harrison Jr.
67:31Where now he has three different maladies that he's talking about having to recover from and continue to rehab in the summer.
67:39And just saying, hey, I'm always in pain and all this.
67:43And I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
67:47Why are we not hearing anything from Michael Wilson?
67:51This guy hasn't missed a game. This guy hasn't missed a snap of practice since he entered the NFL.
67:58And the irony there is that he missed most of his college career with injury.
68:04He could have been a first round pick if he wasn't hurt constantly in college.
68:10But at some point, if you're a true grinder, you find a way to lean into your strength and conditioning.
68:17Focus on the right details, hydration, stretching, all these things.
68:21Right diet, right workout regimen. And get to a point where your body is impervious to injury.
68:28And somehow Marvin Harrison Jr., again, I think that he talks big, right?
68:33He knows what to say. He's been memorizing the talking points that his dad has been giving the media for many years.
68:41So he's very impressive talking about what he's going to do and about his mindset and about how all he thinks about his football.
68:50And that he doesn't even want to have a conversation with you because all he's thinking about is football.
68:57And he can't even have a real conversation because everything in his head is just football, football, football.
69:04But that's rhetoric. That's rhetoric. It's like an actor.
69:08It's kind of like you said, Daniel Day McVay for Sean McVay.
69:12Now we've got Marvin Harrison Ford. I mean, I went back and I listened to the interview that he had with the
69:21Giants coaching staff during the pre-draft process. And they said they wanted to draft him because they're suckers.
69:28They happened to draft really well this year. They had the best first round.
69:33I mean, stellar first round by the Giants. Fantastic.
69:36Just best player available. Boom, boom. Marvin Harrison Jr.
69:40is like just saying, all I'm thinking about is football all the time.
69:45And see, that's what you would say if you were Marvin Harrison Jr.'s son.
69:50But also, if you're Marvin Harrison Jr.'s son and it's been a very comfortable life thus far, right?
69:57No adversity. Then it's going to be a little bit more difficult for you to get up early in the morning and go to the gym.
70:07And that is a telltale sign of a player that's not putting the time in with their strength and conditioning is these nagging lower body injuries.
70:17That is the Sammy Watkins corollary. Sammy Watkins was drafted ahead of Mike Evans and Odell Beckham and many other elite wide
70:25receivers in that 2014 wide receiver class. And he underperformed all of them.
70:30And it wasn't because of talent. Everyone saw it at Clemson.
70:35It was because he was playing video games. He was on the DK Metcalf diet post-practice plan, which is candy and video games.
70:43And the best athletes fade into their late 20s.
70:47Meanwhile, you have the players that have incredible strength and conditioning, like Chris Godwin and Terry McLaurin, just locomotive right past them.
70:55Right? Where they couldn't compete with them at the combine.
70:59But at age 28, there's no comparison. Right? And I think that's the career path, right, of a Michael Wilson.
71:07He's on that Chris Godwin, Terry McLaurin career path.
71:10What do they all have in common? Third round picks.
71:14Something to prove. What does Sammy Watkins have in common with Marvin Harrison Jr.?
71:19Elite talents in their class. Stockpiled with talent. And they were drafted ahead of players that had better work ethics and equal
71:28skill sets, like Malik Neighbors, who are eventually going to just motor past them in career production.
71:34So, yes, I agree with R.C. Fisher. Michael Wilson will finish his career with more fantasy points than Marvin Harrison Jr.
71:42And we have had Michael Wilson consistently ahead of consensus in all of our rankings because there's this bias against Michael Wilson
71:51that when he produced, it was in the best possible situation.
71:55No Marvin Harrison Jr. And the run first offense was out the window because they were losing games.
72:02They had a bad record. And they decided just to open up the offense for Jacoby Brissett.
72:08He's leading the league in pass attempts per game.
72:12So let me get this straight. The only time you produced big numbers is when your team was leading the NFL in pass attempts per game.
72:22And the alpha receiver was out. So, of course, the public seeing those two facts in front of them is going to heavily discount this Michael Wilson.
72:32But my response is, well, what if he's just good anyway?
72:36Like, so what? Right. Like, yeah, he was handed a very fortunate hand.
72:41And he was dealt a very fortunate hand in the second half of 2025.
72:47Did he produce at a level that's impressive but not great?
72:51No. He was the wide receiver one for several weeks.
72:55He was a monster putting up bigger numbers than Marvin Harrison Jr.
72:59ever did. Demonstrating a ceiling that Marvin Harrison Jr.
73:03cannot touch. In terms of historic weekly production. There's nothing more he could have done with those opportunities.
73:10And now the coaching staff is coming out and saying, this guy is going to be our Puka Nakua.
73:17And I know it's hyperbole and it's silly. But for me, that's the element of that that I'm actually internalizing is that he was one-two in the conversation.
73:28No matter how hyperbolic it was, he was one-two right there with Marvin Harrison Jr.
73:33It's not like the coaches put Marvin Harrison Jr.
73:37over here and talked about him and then had another conversation over here about Michael Wilson, the clear second option.
73:44They talked about them together as a duo, as a dynamic duo together.
73:49And most of the rankings and most of the analysis you're seeing is that you have Marvin Harrison Jr.
73:57as the clear alpha and Michael Wilson as this pretender beta receiver.
74:01That's the perception. And it's only based on the fact that he just happened to be in a great situation and deliver.
74:10Chills. Chills down my spine, man. Listening to you talk about your guys, man.
74:15I want to close it out with one more guy I think is maybe the biggest victory lap.
74:22And that's Kenny Gainwell for you, man. You've been a long-time Kenny Gainwell fan.
74:27You got a Kenny Gainwell shirt. You were wearing it last offseason.
74:32You were talking about going and rostering this guy.
74:35I'll be honest. I was kind of laughing when I was watching the show.
74:41I'm like, come on, man. We got Caleb Johnson.
74:44We got Jalen Warren. What are we doing? Right?
74:48Kenny G, reign supreme, man. Now we've got all this terrible offseason news about Bucky Irving not being fully recovered.
74:55The steam is gaining on Kenny Gainwell. Huge, huge edge for fast draft drafters.
75:01The ADP for Kenny Gainwell in fast draft has not fully corrected yet.
75:06He's still in the 130s on ADP. And this is a guy that's going into hundreds in almost every other best ball format, early 100.
75:15I think he's a great option this year. Total target.
75:19Let's just talk to me about why you've been in on Gainwell before his great season last year.
75:26If we knew more about our sleep, what would we do differently?
75:31Would we go to bed at a consistent time or take steps to reduce interruptions to our sleep?
75:37With Sleep Score, Apple Watch measures your bedtime consistency, interruptions, and sleep duration.
75:42Then, every morning it combines these factors into an easy-to-understand score from 1 to 100.
75:48So you'll know how to take the quality of your sleep from okay to very high.
75:54Know your sleep score with Apple Watch. iPhone 11 or later required.
75:59You thought this was your run club era. Turns out, it was more of a thinking about run club era.
76:06The good news? Someone's marathon training is about to start.
76:10Sell your workout gear on Depop. Just snap a few photos and we'll take care of the rest.
76:17They get their race day fit and you get a payout for trying.
76:22Someone on Depop wants what you've got. Start selling now.
76:26Depop. Where taste recognizes taste. The profile is the profile.
76:30That's it. Right? There's no need to give up on a player if the NFL likes him.
76:36Don't give up. That's it. That's why you have to pay attention to the news.
76:42We have playerprofile.com slash news and we will put coach sentiment in there.
76:47Now, a lot of it's hyperbole. Like we talked about.
76:51No, Marvin Harrison Jr. is not Devante Adams any more than Michael Wilson is Bukunakua.
76:57But the framing of the response is interesting. Right?
77:00And so in some of these ways, it's interesting.
77:04And whenever coaches were asked about Kenny Gainwell, they always gushed about him.
77:08They always talk about him as a consummate professional.
77:12How he deserves more touches. This was year in, year out when he wasn't producing.
77:18And I'm like, when I pull up the profile, I see a lightly used race car.
77:24And last time I checked, there are several teams every year, several Johnny that have multiple injuries, concurrent injuries to their backfield.
77:32Isn't this like one of the more obvious observations in the history of fantasy podcasting that every year, multiple NFL teams suffer concurrent injuries to their backfield.
77:43It's like, yeah, duh. Welcome to the NFL. That's every season.
77:47That's week one. It's like, okay. So if that's the case, why so dismissive about running back threes that if given opportunity
77:55could deliver running back one fantasy performances, top 12 fantasy performances.
77:59And if you're a guy that can catch 40 passes in college, you're 200 plus pounds and you're explosive and you have
78:08a 1600 yard rushing season on your resume in college that checks all the boxes.
78:14If coaches like you, then it just might be that the general manager drafted a running back in the early second round.
78:22And then the coaches were forced to give him touches and he delivered and the year ran out on you and you didn't really get an opportunity.
78:32Does that mean you're bad? No, no. No. So there's no reason to give up on a guy like that.
78:40It, it, it, there's all the more reason just to scoop him whenever you see him dropped, just scoop whenever you see him dropped.
78:49Right. So there's just certain profiles like that where I'm just like, I will just grab like, I'm confident that Jarquez Hunter is a good running back.
78:59This is a guy that likes going out on like duck hunts and Turkey hunts.
79:05Wears no gloves when he plays, right? We got to give them a bump in the ranks for that.
79:12Super just tough as nails. One of these guys that's just in the bird blind.
79:18You're chewing tobacco. No. And it's like, this is a, this is a tough as nails, hardworking, lunch pail type running back.
79:27You love to see that. You love to see that a guy that's just percolating there with like these 1500 all purpose
79:35yard college seasons in the sec, you know, major conference program.
79:39Taj Brooks, not quite at that Jarquez Hunter level, but these are players that, you know, Ollie Gordon.
79:46Right. And I hear, Oh, uh, Jalen Wright. We actually got touches ahead of Ollie Gordon last year.
79:53Yeah. But everything we've heard from the dolphins coaches is they love all the Gordon.
79:59Maybe Ollie Gordon was, was dinged up and only the coaches knew about it.
80:04Ollie Gordon was a true phenomenon in college. And then he had a down final year.
80:10Okay. Get a disappointing final year. Just like Nicholas Singleton.
80:14Like Nicholas Singleton is this year's Ollie Gordon. So if I'm drafting Nicholas Singleton, you're goddamn right.
80:21I'm drafting Ollie Gordon. Because. Again, there's multiple teams that will have multiple injuries to running backs in their backfield.
80:28If I told you that. Devon HN. Suffered a broken wrist.
80:32And, you know, he's going to be in a cast and it is, he's not going to be able to, to, you know, handle the ball.
80:42For a couple of weeks. And Jalen Wright has a high ankle sprain.
80:47Right. Or. HN. Breaks his collarbone. Like all these things could happen.
80:52And you're suddenly, you're looking up and it's. 25 touches a game for Ollie Gordon.
80:58And he's awesome in that role. He's an all purpose back.
81:02Same thing could happen to the running backs in Los Angeles.
81:06And then it's the Jarquez Hunter show. The same thing could happen that better not, better not happen.
81:13The Chargers. Better not. My man. A Marion Hampton is going to be an absolute machine this year of the premium players.
81:21Oh my God. Hampton this year. Oh my God.
81:25Oh my God. With that offensive line. That offense.
81:28That system. Oh my God. Hampton. But then necessarily, doesn't that mean that you want Vidal?
81:34He's already been proven to be productive in that system.
81:38And so you absolutely want all the Vidal you can get.
81:43Right. So why? Because he's a size speed specimen who's proven himself to be efficient in the NFL.
81:49And so there's probably five, six, seven, eight RB threes around the league that have bell cow profiles.
81:56And I'm just vacuuming up all of them at all times.
82:01My head's always on a swivel, like looking, where are they?
82:05Where's Jarquez Hunter? Where's Taj Brooks? Where are these players?
82:09Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme. Right. I want them all.
82:12Like, even I was just having this conversation super late RB three with an all purpose profile.
82:19Will Shipley. Will Shipley's that guy. Right. If, if it were me and let's say I was the Buffalo bills and I
82:27lost James cook, I would rather have will Shipley out there in the James cook role than Ray Davis.
82:35Right. Right. I mean, if, if, if I'm, if I'm the lions, I'd rather have Shipley than, than Pacheco.
82:42Though I do think Pacheco is interesting. I just wouldn't quite put him in that category.
82:48Right. Right. Just like you can't put LaQuint Allen in that category.
82:53I love a Quint Allen as a, as a satellite back plus, but he doesn't profile as a workhorse.
83:00They're always going to need someone between the tackles.
83:03On a LaQuint Allen team. So he doesn't necessarily qualify, but Ollie Gordon.
83:08Absolutely, man. Absolutely. But that's one of those teams where it's a bad team.
83:14There's not going to be a lot of scoring on this offense.
83:18There's questions about whether or not he's even number two in the depth chart.
83:24Based on some end of season usage, which is not necessarily an indicator of old coaching staff, the coach's affinity for either running back.
83:33Yeah. I'm going back to the profile. So that's a perfect example.
83:37I think Ollie Gordon would be the best comp.
83:41If you're saying, Hey, congratulations on Kenneth Gainwell. I would say the next Kenneth Gainwell is probably Ollie Gordon.
83:48I just took him in another startup. Dude, I love that I brought this to the table and talking through some of
83:56your historic my guys, because to your point, you're just doling out for a game.
84:02Who's the next Kenneth Gainwell? Right? It's not about what have you done for me lately?
84:08My problem is now it's gotten to the point where I have to say I've actually already dealt him.
84:16Like I've started dealing away my Gainwell. I have so much Gainwell, and now he has gained so much value so well.
84:24But that I'm now going around to all the Bucky Irving teams around the league and trying to get rid of my
84:32Gainwell, trying to bank a second rounder plus. Right.
84:36For Kenneth Gainwell in 2027. So that's how you play the game.
84:41You don't necessarily say, Hey, this is my guy forever.
84:44It's my guy until the market corrects. And then he's your guy.
84:49Yeah. Dude, I love it, man. I love it.
84:52Jarquez Hunter getting some love in there. Kamani Vidal.
84:56For you deep dynasty sickos, we just hit the gamut of RB3s that you should be thinking about with high upside.
85:04Fantastic, man. I want to kind of close the lap around the track, man.
85:09Again, you've had some awesome shows over the years.
85:13We did a post for you last year for your birthday and asked some of the people to call out their favorite podfather moments.
85:22And someone mentioned a Jeff Janis dance party. I don't know if I ever saw that episode, but that's hilarious.
85:29Just the concept of you having a moment to dance about Jeff Janis, right?
85:35Well, do you know what happened? Remember who that is?
85:39Are you aware of what happened? I think Jordi Nelson was flaming out or something.
85:44What? No, you have no idea. No, I have no idea.
85:49Child, please. You need to be educated. I do.
85:52I tried to find this before the show. I just, it's like...
85:57No, forget me and the dance party. Do you understand that Jeff Janis is the only wide receiver in NFL history to catch back-to-back Hail Marys?
86:07Okay. Yeah. What do you mean, okay? Yes, okay.
86:10Okay. Do you realize you said that? Like, okay, yes.
86:14Be dismissive of back-to-back Hail Marys. What else can I say that you wouldn't dismiss?
86:20Okay, the Knicks are going to come back from down 25 points in the second half.
86:26Okay. Yeah, okay. Yeah, cool. Yeah, against one of the best teams in NBA history.
86:31The 2026 San Antonio Spurs. With the Defensive Player of the Year, they're going to do this.
86:38That's what they're going to do it against. Okay.
86:41Okay, cool. Back-to-back Hail Marys. He converted back-to-back Hail Marys.
86:45You don't... Can I... So, that's why the dance party was required.
86:50Okay. Because he was a seventh-round pick, and I had him in every league.
86:55And then he scored back-to-back Hail Marys. So, if that happens, if I have a seventh-rounder, and I've drafted him literally everywhere,
87:04then when he has back-to-back Hail Marys, we will always and forever do a dance party.
87:10Fair enough. Fair enough. Is... So, the question there is, is that the funniest player you remember touting, or was there anything
87:18anything sillier than that that you can recall in your podcasting history?
87:23It's tough to beat. Puke Nakua was pretty good, too, man.
87:27What? Why do you mention this? Why are you...
87:30No. Why are you mentioning this? No, there's... You know, the profile that has burned me the most...
87:37And I know we've got to wrap up. We've got to wrap up.
87:42The profile that's burned me the most is the tweener tight end.
87:47There have been a lot of athletic tight ends.
87:50That's the one thing that worries me about Justin Jolie.
87:54Yeah. Is that I've been so burned by the tweener tight end archetype over the years, chasing the next Jordan Reed that never comes.
88:03It's been tough. It's been a tough scene. We're hoping.
88:07Maybe. A good player knows their faults, right? And their blind spots.
88:12And it sounds like you're a sucker for an athletic tight end, aren't we all?
88:18Greg Dolcich, right? But hey, to your point, Greg Dolcich could be coming around.
88:23Not dead yet. All right, man. You've been... You're a legend, bro.
88:27Close it out. Give us one bold prediction for the 2026 season.
88:32Oh, yes. Well, I gave one bold prediction earlier, which was Josh Downs, top five in targets this year.
88:39I think that's pretty good, right? I thought you were saying like the first few weeks of the season without Pierce, but you think it could be an...
88:50Well, he could be the leader. He could be the NFL leader in targets through the first few weeks.
88:57But I think he still finishes out the year.
89:01Given that he is literally the most perfect wide receiver archetype fit with Daniel Jones.
89:07And that Alec Pierce is staring at a lost season.
89:10And the only other player that commands targets on this team is Tyler Warren.
89:16Then yeah, I mean, Josh Downs, top five in receptions this year is very possible.
89:21That is very possible. But I would like to...
89:25I would like to think about something. I think I'm loving what I'm hearing around the Carolina Panthers.
89:32I'm loving how we now have several of these beat reporters that keep touting Jonathan Brooks.
89:38And I just want, just for myself, selfishly, I just want to enjoy that story of a guy tearing his knee up multiple times.
89:47And then just with sheer grit and determination and medical technology, coming back again and again and being awesome.
89:54Because he was awesome at Texas. So I will predict that both Jonathan Brooks and Chuba Hubbard are top 25 running backs in fantasy this year.
