Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveBreakout0:16

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue0:28

Saquon Barkley, whose next birthday will be 30, is not preferred over Cam Scadaboo in a dynasty startup because he's post-age apex with significant wear and tear.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection0:17

Trevor Lawrence was available late in the dynasty startup draft, suggesting he was not a priority pick in early rounds.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

0:57This is Content Kings. I'm here with Alex Dunlap from Roster Watch.
1:00And we talk about the news. What's happening with the NFL fantasy impact of those news items.
1:06There's been a lot. I mean, gotta be a record for first week of June.
1:10And impactful news from Christian Watson signing an extension.
1:13Roma Dunes, his foot's never gonna be the same.
1:16Michael Wilson is Puka Nakua. We have a lot to talk about today.
1:19Plus, Alex is back from Disneyland. I'm back or Disney World or Disney town.
1:24And I'm back from Leeds. And so we'll talk about guys trips.
1:27We'll talk about some new tools at Roster Watch.
1:30There's a lot coming at you on Content Kings.
1:33And we start where we always start recently with podcasts on the Player Profiler Network hosted by the Podfather.
1:39My fantasy teams. Yeah. I mean, you play in enough these days, man.
1:42How many of these dynasty orphans did you end up taking over by now?
1:47I took over 20 orphans in 20 days. It sounds like it sounds like you've had to have made a YouTube.
1:53Gosh, if you didn't make a YouTube video with that on the thumbnail, I took over 20 dynasty orphans in 20 days
2:00with you going like on the thumbnail. That sounds like something that would that sounds like something that would perform.
2:06It would perform very well. If I was able to do that video, I have not yet completed all of the rookie drafts.
2:13Some of them are still pending. So my plan was to make a whole series on this one unified video and then some individual clips.
2:20I should probably start this weekend. Like it's been it's been in the plans, but I just need to just, you know,
2:27kind of put my content hat on. I am a content king based on the name of the show and start the process.
2:34Yeah. 20 orphans in 20 days. But in me just soliciting, hey, I want to be in your dynasty league.
2:40A bunch of other people have come and said, hey, we have a startup.
2:44Would you like to be in our startup? And I'm really a sucker for a startup.
2:49It also helps our dynasty rankings because there's some sort of consumer demand elements of the dynasty rankings on player profile or
2:56the dynasty deluxe package where we can't put a player at a place where the demand for that player is just completely
3:02incongruent with where we have them ranked. We can't put people that use our our ranking service and our trade analyzer in
3:09a difficult position where they don't know, you know, whether they should make a deal or not, because, yes, technically it says
3:16they're winning it, but they believe they can get that player later.
3:19Right. So we don't want to be too out over our skis on any given player.
3:24And we don't want to be so far off the market with some players just in terms of whether demand is in
3:31startups that it just it becomes sort of an exercise in futility for people that are subscribing to execute trades.
3:37Right. So for that reason, we need to have our finger on the pulse of the dynasty community and the demand for players.
3:44KTC keep trade cut. They're a partner of ours at player profiler.
3:47And so when you go to a player page, you can click a link to see the KTC profile and where they
3:54have that player ranked, where the where the crowd, right, the crowd source ranking where that is set.
3:59And so we had that on player profiler and we certainly helped to leverage that.
4:04But me being in these startups helps. It has certainly helped us tweak the elements of the sort of the profile bonus
4:11that we give to players where we said they're going to outperform the projection for whatever reason or a risk quotient that
4:17we put on players where it's just sometimes you see a player going very late.
4:22And you're like, well, why is that? Oh, there's there's a risk factor that we didn't we didn't account for.
4:28We're going to make sure we bake that into our rankings.
4:31So that's been great. It's been helpful for everybody.
4:34It's been fun to talk about. And now I'm in six startups.
4:37I'm not done. Everyone email me podfather at roto wonderworld.com.
4:40And certainly I can join maybe one or two more startups.
4:44There's so much fun. I take over these orphans and we're having a great time with it, man.
4:49I just I mean, I can't I can't not to like it needs any agreement because it's just a simple fact, but
4:56like it's something I feel like it gets lost on people.
4:59Sometimes I feel like I even have to like I, you know, even Cody and trash me and get tilted at me sometimes.
5:06And I was like, what are we doing with this dynasty ranking?
5:10Like we're done talking about somebody and, you know, they haven't ranked, you know, 12 spots or something ahead of consensus between
5:16their consensus or something like that towards the top of the board.
5:20And I'm like, well, what is what does keep trade cuts say?
5:24And they're like, well, well, they haven't been at 18.
5:27I'm like, well, what is so what are they haven't been at like 31?
5:31I'm like, so what? Why do we haven't been at 18?
5:34Like, well, like, what are we talking about? And they're like, well, well, these are our rankings.
5:39I want people to I want people to know how I have somebody ranked.
5:44I'm like, what? What is what good does that do to our users to let them know how you have what you
5:50need to give them is a list of names that they're going to take at certain spots.
5:55That's it's like the whole reason for the like I was telling Cody on one of our shows and it made the
6:02show almost like I couldn't even use it on podcast because it just sounded like me yelling at them about process.
6:08Oh, no, no, that's great content. You're a content king.
6:11Use that. That's I want to listen to that podcast.
6:14Yeah, but I was just like I was like Cody because Cody's in charge of like like a roster watch.
6:21The number one thing that drives our sales, the number one thing that we sell is the ultimate draft cheat sheet that people use in their redrafts.
6:29It's like we do have diehard dynasty people. We have people that love to come to get the DFS cheat sheets and
6:35the player prop tool and all the other tools.
6:38But do there's there's so many people mad and you and you know this too well.
6:43It's like I'm sure with you guys, the number one thing is just y'all's draft kit for helping the helping the everyday
6:50guy in his fantasy football draft home. It's like that's the number one seller.
6:54It's the thing that does gets it gets everything done, right?
6:57It's like we put major, major, major focus on that and we're coming into the time of year where we do it.
7:04And I'm just like, do you get why is it any different at Dynasty?
7:08Like Cody, he does every single day but runs between 100 and 150 manual simulations of redraft leagues that pull in through
7:15our tools through every single side ADP, all the rest of this stuff.
7:19It's just like so you could just say like like you do, Matt, you say like, why is this guy going here at 48?
7:26Is there something baked in that I wasn't thinking about or like you bounce ideas and like, oh, no, he's going 48
7:32because like you've got his, you know, he's having to get his knee drained before every practice or so.
7:38You know, and like so you put two and two together and you get the ideas, these pockets, and then you understand
7:45where the leverage can be created versus ADP. Right.
7:48Right. It's so much of this stuff when I look at doing the rankings and that's why it's like in our dynasty top 250 now.
7:55It's like you got trash man's input, you got Cody's input, and then you have keep trade cut.
8:01And that gets a one that gets the one third of the pie just to make sure that we're not, you know,
8:07we can't get too far off consensus because there comes times when it's like, well, why do you take Travion Henderson there
8:14when you can take him around later? That's right.
8:17No, it's a fact. And I also sometimes just need an individual's opinion on a player.
8:21Sometimes that's what I want when I'm deciding between two players or actually in the second round of a recent dynasty startup.
8:28I'll put it up on the screen. I was in the second round.
8:32I started with Caleb Williams. And in the second round, I did not know what to do.
8:37And so I called you. I had to phone a friend.
8:40I was in the car with my daughter. I said, call Alex Dunlap.
8:44Let's get him on the phone. What to do.
8:47Bowers is here. Bowers feels right. But I really want Herbert.
8:50Herbert's here. And it's six point per passing touchdown.
8:53But it's also a half point per first down.
8:56So quarterbacks certainly get a big boost from that.
8:59But also running backs. They get more of a boost than the tight ends.
9:03And the receivers, it's not tight end premium at all.
9:06So it's like, well, geez, man. It's a pretty steep curve for Bowers to move up.
9:11And so we kind of put Bowers off to the side, even though technically, based on your consensus rankings, you had Bowers at the top listing those players.
9:19But the scoring just tilted against Bowers enough where he just couldn't quite meet the threshold to be picked there.
9:25Then it became Jordan Love versus Justin Herbert. Jeremiah Love.
9:28Jeremiah Love versus Herbert. I'm kidding. Jeremiah Love. I'm not going to spoil it.
9:32There's a reason why I had that minor misstep.
9:35A Freudian slip. It was a Freudian slip. Yes, a Freudian slip.
9:39That's what it was. Thank you. That was actually a Freudian slip.
9:42And we're going to get back to that in a minute.
9:46If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That sounds right until you actually do the math.
9:51For most businesses, shipping is that thing. What is it actually costing you?
9:54Because if nobody's questioning it, it's probably costing you way more than it should.
9:59And fortunately, ShipStation makes switching easy and savings are immediate.
10:02Because most businesses are overpaying on shipping without realizing it, ShipStation automatically compares rates across UPS, USPS, and FedEx on every order with savings up to 90%.
10:10That's why over a million businesses have leveled up their shipping game with ShipStation while cutting costs up to 30%.

10:20It is built to handle your entire shipping workflow so your team can focus on growth.
10:25And the sooner you switch, the sooner you start saving time and money with ShipStation.

10:34That's ShipStation.com, code PLAYER. ShipStation.com, code PLAYER. Taxes and fees apply.
10:37You don't wash your jersey during a win streak.
10:40You don't switch seats when your team's up big.
10:43And you definitely don't shave during the playoffs. When things are working, you don't change them.
10:47That's why when you drink Jägermeister, you drink it ice cold.
10:51Anything else? Well, that'd just be bad luck. Drink it cold or don't drink it at all.
10:56Jägermeister. Damn, that's cold. Drink responsibly. Jägermeister liqueur, 35% alcohol by volume.
10:59Imported by Mass Jägermeister. U.S. White Plains, New York.
11:02So I just wanted to, hey, Jeremiah Love, go.
11:05Like, what is your instant reaction, Jeremiah Love? You know, Word Association, go.
11:09Justin Herbert, Word Association, go. I mean, I met Justin Herbert at the Senior Bowl.
11:13It was my first Senior Bowl. And you guys showed me around, explained how it all worked.
11:18It was great. It was one of my favorite experiences in this business.
11:22Doing this was that first Senior Bowl. Hertz was there.
11:25Herbert was there. Michael Pittman. There were so many fun, great players there.
11:29There was Brandon Ayuk off to the side in a hoodie sweatshirt sulking around, you know, and he's right back to where
11:36he started with his career right now, which is interesting.
11:39I actually, Matt, I actually had to use, like, because so much of the stuff that we, like, this is kind of
11:46off the subject, but it is a content show.
11:48It's like one of the reasons that we go to those things is so we can save some money on not having
11:55to pay for the wire services for all our photos.
11:58So we go around and we creep around. We try and get photos of all these guys that we just put our
12:05own watermarks on and just use them. That's why so many of our photos are from the combine and Senior Bowl and stuff.
12:12And just today, man, I was having to decide whether or not on Cody and Trashman's pod they did yesterday, putting up
12:18the post for it, like, to put a picture up.
12:21And I was looking through there, and there was, there was the Brandon Ayuk, and he was sitting very, very sulky because
12:28Ayuk was one of the main guys who they talked about on the show.
12:32But it's so funny that you bring that up on the sidelines, sulking in a sweatshirt.
12:37I was literally looking at that photo just like hours ago.
12:40It was, it made a bit impression. A couple of things made a big impression of it.
12:46I would say three things made an impression on me.
12:49I'm not going to talk about Denzel Mims, who looked like the best receiver at that Senior Bowl, which is just crazy still to this day.
12:56It's just wild. He was so good at the Senior Bowl.
13:00It's hard to even explain to people. It wasn't just like, it wasn't like a hive mind that we had.
13:06He was the buzz of the town. Oh, yeah.
13:09Yeah. On social media, everywhere. It was, it was a Denzel, it was the Denzel Mims show.
13:14Devin Duvernay did well too. Like, it wasn't like we came in with elevated, an elevated idea of him.
13:19Like we did with like, like an Ayuk or a Pittman.
13:23No, no. We, we didn't even like the guy.
13:25No. But he was just that good. We're just like, oh, well, deny this.
13:30Trashman liked. Maybe Trashman. Trashman, the trashman did like him, which made me like him worse or less.
13:35So, yeah. So a couple of things stood out at that, at that particular Senior Bowl.
13:40Number one, Michael Pittman was an Adonis. Michael Pittman made me nervous just being around him because he made me sort of
13:47feel bad about myself and maybe question my self-esteem because a man could look and act and glide around like him.
13:53And I was like, oh, this is what it's like to be near a superstar celebrity.
13:58Right. Like, but he, it wasn't like he was surrounded by reporters or anything.
14:02It's just like the way he carried himself and the way he looked.
14:06He's 6'4". Yeah. So completely jacked at the time.
14:09And I was like, oh, okay. Okay. So men can look.
14:12Okay. This is okay. All right. Yes. I'm going to go ahead.
14:16I'm, I didn't even go up to him. Like I went up to all, you know, I'm fearless.
14:21Hey, can you do the station IDs? Like, hey, hey, you're listening to the pod father.
14:26You're listening to player profile. No, I did not.
14:29I did not dare talk to Michael Pittman, but also another commanding presence that I did muster the courage to approach was Justin Herbert.
14:36Sure. Man, that guy, the ball coming out of his hand was just different than hurts, different than Jordan love.
14:42It was, it was, it was, there was something with the physics of it, the Newtonian physics of the football, leaving his hand.
14:49There's just something about that. And then also just standing next to him and talking to him for a minute.
14:55I, I really enjoyed it. It was, it was a great experience.
14:59And I'll never forget it. And he's just was so young at the time to thinking back at how young he looked.
15:05I was just like, man, this guy's going to be making millions of dollars, leading these billion dollar franchise.
15:11Look at this guy. Like, he looks like he just graduated from high school.
15:15And so that was, no. And then of course the brand that Iuke on the sideline sitting by himself, just in a hoodie, looking at the ground.
15:23And, and, and then, and then this is exactly where Cody's coming from when he, you know, tags some players as dogs and some players as kitty cats.
15:32And I was like, Oh, that's a kitty cat.
15:34Yeah. Yeah. For sure, man. Yeah. But so you were having, you were having to decide between Herbert and Bowers and Jeremiah
15:41love, because at that point you were just thinking you, your next wide receiver up would have been CD lamb.
15:47Be interested to see where we, yeah. So we, we have CD lamb ahead of Drake London too.
15:53I find that, I find that there could be maybe a little bit of a conversation there with those two guys.
15:59Absolutely. Absolutely. I think it's a conversation. We have lamb ahead.
16:02Ultimately you said word association, Jeremiah love, get him.
16:05You should get him. You said, I want him.
16:08I want him. I want him. Get him. I want him.
16:11Get him. I want him. That was your word association.
16:14What, what, what really got me is I don't think he's even 21 yet.
16:18And he's just so in like, he's not even 21.
16:21And he was the best player in the whole entire draft this last year.
16:26That's a team that's going to be rebuilding with a, with, with a really good offensive mind.
16:31Um, they're going to have their quarterback situation settled relative relatively shortly.
16:34And it looks like you're actually on the clock back again here.
16:38So, yeah, so I'll, I'll, I'll let everybody know.
16:41I drafted Herbert again, it's six points per passing touchdown.
16:44So getting Herbert, the back of the first round is a smash.
16:47Go ahead and do it. We have Herbert ranked ahead of burrow.
16:51Just spoiler alert right there, dude. I mean, look at what he was doing last year before those two, before the two offensive tackles got hurt.
16:59Well, all played for half the season. Slater played zero games.
17:02Now they're finally going to play games together this year.
17:05And when you look at pictures, the second rated tackle per PFF two years ago was Rashawn Slater.
17:11And he looks like a guard next to Joe Walt.
17:14So I'm very, very excited. I mean, there's a reason why all these chargers are getting steamed up across all fantasy formats right now.
17:21It's legitimate. Yeah. It's like he's, I like it, but I also think that, um, I was just like, I was just,
17:28I was looking at the other guys that would be available.
17:31And I'm like, aren't you going to be able to man, like whenever this thing comes back around to be able to
17:37get like a Jackson dart or Trevor Lawrence or something like that, it looks like you wouldn't have been able to.
17:44No, I mean, I really was between Herbert and Caleb Williams.
17:47And I almost pushed the button on Herbert. And at the last minute I realized Caleb Williams was there.
17:53And that was my thing with, with Brock Bowers is I was like, dude, Caleb Williams, like people don't want to realize
18:00it because he paints his fingernails and he's like all this, but he could like, he could be, I don't want to
18:06say he could be QB one or something, but I think that he might like have the most passing yards this year.
18:13I don't think that I'm sure that there's a prop out there for most passing yards.
18:18He's not, he's not going to be too far down the list of the odds.
18:22And then I also think it's like, so if you get that guy who's just, just coming into his own, right.
18:29Just coming into his own. You could have years of that.
18:32If the Ben Johnson thing is, is, is real.
18:35And if Caleb's improvement does continue the way that people would have hoped, right.
18:39The way that you certainly hope for, for, for this league.
18:42The one thing I was thinking is if you get those two onesie positions, you get Caleb and you get Brock Bowers, right.
18:49As he's starting to ascend. It's like, you got like, you got two just, you know, queen pieces on the chessboard there at the onesie spots.
18:57But then I thought to myself, well, but I mean, I just thought to myself, but I'm trying to build a dynasty
19:04roster here where it's like, Jeremiah Love is such a sick man.
19:07He's so young. You know, even if you want to build around this kind of like in a hero kind of way,
19:14like you got your, your hero right off the bat and things are going to open up here with some of the
19:21wide receivers that we saw beginning to fall. So that's what I mean.
19:24And it's just like, you're just like, what would you do?
19:28And I'm like, dude, if I'm in your spot, I'm taking Jeremiah Love.
19:32It was just as simple as that. I mean, it's just like that that's who I wanted out of, out of those guys in that spot.
19:40Cody took Caleb Williams at the 102 in another league that we're in.
19:44And that was in my head. And I called him and I was actually hiking up the first time ever.
19:50I found myself, it was illegally, I was hiking.
19:52I illegally found myself on the top of a landfill.
19:55Has this ever happened to you? I don't, I don't, I have, I have beautiful hiking trails here, man.
20:01I don't hike on landfills. I got a, I got a whole hiking trail network that runs by this ridge right by the lake by my house.
20:09Well, once upon a time, uh, the, the brilliant people of the town of Fairfield decided to create a landfill on the oceanfront property.
20:16What? Of the town. Yes. There is a landfill on oceanfront property in the town of Fairfield.
20:22It makes no sense. It's like an Autobahn type hiking trail, but I might have like walked over a down fence and
20:28found myself on top of a landfill. When you say Autobahn, what does that mean?
20:33Is that bird related? Yes. It's protected. And they, they set up all of these bird houses.
20:38Hantavirus. What? Hantavirus. What's the hantavirus? The one that they got on that cruise ship.
20:42Cause they had to go to a landfill to see all the awesome birds.
20:47Is that what? Oh my God. Yeah. Okay. I got to get myself checked out for a hantavirus.
20:52Apparently that's a scary parallel. My goodness. But yes, they set up these platforms and these bird houses and it's protected.
20:58And people go, you know, walk. It's great. Is it still an active landfill?
21:03Or like it had been a landfill, but now it's just the bird place.
21:07Right. It's no longer a landfill. Oh, okay. Okay.
21:10Right. It's no longer a landfill, but you know, many, many, many years ago.
21:14What's interesting about these landfills is there's these little smokestacks.
21:17You seen this? Landfills have vents because there is all of this decomposing material.
21:21Yeah. Decomposing material and chemical reactions that are happening.
21:24People, especially decades ago, they're throwing away batteries. They're throwing away.
21:27So there's chemical reactions happening and it creates heat.
21:30And so there's an exhaust. Every landfill has these exhaust pipes.
21:33It's just not a good idea. Some landfills that are more active, they're actually warm.
21:38Huh? They don't keep snow on them. The snow melts off the top because they're warm because of all the chemical reactions that are happening below the surface.
21:46Anyway, I got myself out of there. So right as I'm coming up against another fence and I find my way out
21:53of there, I thought I was going to be trapped.
21:56I get out of there and I'm on the phone with Cody.
22:00He's breaking up. But he's saying some of the same thing.
22:03As soon as he comes back into service, it's like Caleb Williams could be completely epic.
22:08There is absolutely a path for him to be the QB one this year.
22:12If you're talking about six points per passing touchdown to get Caleb Williams at the 109, even though he's riskier, even though
22:19he's more of a gunslinger, I'm going in that direction.
22:22Even over Herbert. Right? So I didn't go Herbert in this.
22:25I have Herbert and a bunch of other startups.
22:28So I ended up 109, Caleb Williams, 204, Jeremiah Love, then Carnell Tate at the 309.
22:32That was fun. That's always fun. And then Chris Olave at the 404.
22:36And I risked it. It came back around. I was thinking about Cam Ward actually at the 404, but I was like, you know what?
22:44Purdy's still out there. Jordan Love's still out there.
22:47We'll roll the dice. Sure enough, Cam Ward comes back to me at the 509.
22:51So I get to stack Carnell Tate, Cam Ward.
22:54It's my first Ward Tate stack. It feels, oh God, so good.
22:58It's an interesting stack. It doesn't feel like Boardwalk and Park Place, but you know what I mean?
23:03It's like, you know, it's not like, it's one of those ones that's maybe like a Marvin Gardens type of thing, right?
23:10It's definitely Marvin Gardens. It feels like Marvin Gardens.
23:12Well, no, I mean the ultimate, I think if you went, you know, Brissette, Marvin Harrison, Trey McBride, that might be the Marvin Gardens one.
23:20That's like Continental Avenue. That's much worse, actually. That's much worse.
23:23No, this feels very good. And I might have to add, if I could add another Titan, somehow add another Titan, then
23:30I could have the three players, right? Yeah. Maybe later I could even, I could go with Gunnar Helm.
23:36Gunnar Helm. Yeah. Yeah, who knows? Who knows what we'll do?
23:39So now I have the Ward Tate stack with Olave.
23:42And what's fun about the early rounds of a Dynasty startup, and it's why I really don't draft a lot of CeeDee Lamb.
23:49I don't even find myself drafting a lot of, let's say, Lamar Jackson.
23:53It's because at this point, you can have it all.
23:56There's no compromise. Like, you can draft Ashton Gentey.
23:59You can draft Jeremiah Love. You can draft Jackson Smith and Jigba.
24:02You can draft guys that are multiple years pre-age Apex and still get elite production this year.
24:07You can absolutely eat your cake with one hand and then have it in the other hand.
24:12It's what you can do. You can do it.
24:15And so I always find myself doing this, leaning a little bit more youth pre-age Apex early in startups because why not?
24:22And then whenever I see players that are post-age Apex get drafted ahead of me, I'm like, dude, you didn't need to do that.
24:29If there was a young ascending player that's going to produce big numbers this year, you could have just had that guy.
24:36So now we're at the 604. I drafted Cam Ward at the 509.
24:40It then went Baker Mayfield, Brees Hall, Bucky Irving, wrapped back around, 601, Rashi Rice, 602, Zay Flowers.
24:45That hurt. But again, I already have two wide receivers in a format that discounts the wide receiver position because of the
24:52way there's a bonus for first downs. But there's also the six points per passing touchdown.
24:57So the premium has been assigned to running backs and quarterbacks in this league scoring.
25:01Finally, at the 603, Marvin Harrison Jr. Goes off the board, Marvin Gardens.
25:05So now we're at the 604 and there is a glaring weakness in this team.
25:10And that is I don't have an RB2. I have two quarterbacks, two wide receivers.
25:14But in a format that rewards first downs, I do not have my second running back.
25:19This is not a hero running back type build.
25:22I'm incentivized to go running back here. Hall and Irving just went off the board.
25:26And I believe there is a clear next play here.
25:29The next move. Very rarely has a pick screamed at me more loudly than this pick at this particular point, this particular player.
25:36I have teed up in the queue, as you can see up on the screen, one Cam Scadaboo.
25:42Your thoughts? I mean, I like I'm just so Cam Scadaboo just turned 24.
25:46So it's not like and he like he's going to be fine, right?
25:50Did you see him? Did you see like for as bad as Malik Neighbors looked at that?
25:55Have you seen him and Malik Neighbors at the softball game?
25:58No. Her celebrity softball. Jackson Dart was there. Malik Neighbors got a hit.
26:02And dude, he was like Cody. Cody told me this before our Sirius XM show last week.
26:07It was I guess it happened on Sunday morning and I hadn't seen it yet.
26:12And so I went and watched it just during the show, during commercial break.
26:16And Neighbors got a hit and running to first base.
26:19He looks bad. You know what I mean? Scadaboo, on the other hand, gets like I think he hit a home run
26:26and did it like a standing backflip. And then like sprinted over there.
26:30You know what I mean? Like he's not scared at all.
26:33And look, Scad's never scared about stuff. He bangs his head and everything.
26:37Does a backflip coming off of him. Like I'm just like, dude, why did I'm like with your scat?
26:43Why did you just do that? Like that's a big risk to do something like that, especially in public.
26:48What if he'd have landed wrong? He just he doesn't care.
26:52He's like he's that confident in it. They've done nothing to address the running back position.
26:57Nothing. Nothing. Like there's literally been no additions through the draft or free agency, anything like that.
27:02And even if there were, it feels like there would always be a role carved out for scat.
27:07Oh, yeah. I'm looking at our, especially as long as Jackson Dart is the, it's crazy.
27:12It shouldn't even affect him that much. But Scadaboo, I have one of our new tools at Rosterwatch.
27:17You can like look up all kinds of splits.
27:20And one of the things that I was looking up was that I don't have the exact number, but it's like Scadaboo
27:27averages like 3.5 more fantasy points per game whenever Jackson Dart's in the game.
27:31I just think Dart loves to kind of dump it off to him and loves to dial things up for scat.
27:37So with that being said, it's like, what other running backs are even available?
27:42Like who else is in the pool? Just out of curiosity, I'm fine with you taking scat, but just like what other
27:48running backs are in the pool right now? Who else is in consideration?
27:52Anyone? I can tell you right now, really none.
27:55But the other running backs are Javante Williams. Okay.
27:58Josh Jacobs. Well, that's like, you can't do that right now.
28:01Right. Kyron Williams. Technically, you can make a case.
28:04I think that probably keep trade cut has him a little bit ahead, but.
28:08I much prefer Cam Scadaboo. This is where you have to deviate from consensus.
28:12This is where we add value. Yeah, no, I get it.
28:15Right. Our subscribers know that you got to go, you got to go Scadaboo there.
28:20I'm because of my build. My build really, even though it will be a competitive team this year, it's really designed for
28:272027 to take down the championship in 2027. I think this is a good team this year.
28:32It is. It is. It is. But being a realist, there's going to be a couple teams with McCaffrey that are going to really go ham this year.
28:40There's also going to be some consolidation of talent.
28:43There's going to be some trades during the season, trades I won't be willing to make, but others that are in win
28:50now mode will be willing to make. So I need to be realistic about this because the last running back to talk
28:56about that is available is Saquon Barkley. Who's about whose next birthday will be 30.
29:01Yeah. And I just can't do it. Like, this is exactly what I'm talking about.
29:05I could get a pre-age apex, barely pre-age apex Cam Scadaboo with similar role, a similar production profile, or I go Saquon Barkley, who's five years old.
29:14And the thing about, here's the other thing about Scadaboo.
29:17Where did he come from? Was it Sacramento State before Arizona State?
29:20I forget what it was. It was some little school.
29:23Right. But it's like, if you think about it and you just think about Scadaboo from back in college, and all you
29:30think about is the Arizona State stuff, you got to think, oh, this guy's got all this tread on his tires.
29:36But he's, you know what I'm saying? That's a short part of his NFL career.
29:41And the other part was at a lower level where he wasn't getting banged up as much.
29:46And then his first year in the NFL, it's like that thing got cut.
29:50It's like he doesn't have that. People think about Scadaboo when they just think about a dude that's been rode hard and put up wet.
29:58But it's not necessarily the case. You know what I mean?
30:01Like, he doesn't have the wear and tear that you would associate with the kind of grinding style that he's had, especially
30:08that he's had his first NFL full season cut short.
30:11Now, it was due to a devastating injury because of his style of play.
30:15I do understand that much. But it's not like he's a totally worn out 24.
30:19No. Yeah, he's 24.3 years old. That's what people love about player profile.
30:23We put the decimal points in there on the ages because the difference between for a running back 24.1 and 24.9, that's a huge difference.
30:31Right. And Scadaboo, very explosive. The 128.7, 89th percentile burst score on player profiler shows you how he's able to do a backflip.
30:38And I'm just going to do it right now, man.
30:41I'm ready. We've been talking about him enough. And I am frothing.
30:44It feels cool to have Jeremiah Love and Cam Scadaboo as your running backs, man.
30:49What a cool young running back core. Let's count it down.
30:52Five, four, three, two, one. Oh, we got Scadaboo!
30:55Oh, it feels so good! Oh, man. Here you go.
30:58Oh, sweet release. This is what everyone's talking about.
31:01Everything's on the table. This is what champions come to take.
31:04This is what everyone came to see. And the slam!
31:07No do-overs. No second chances. No more Mr. Nice Guy.
31:10This is winner take all. The NBA Finals continue on ABC and the ESPN app.
31:15Where is Daredevil? A minor. Don't miss the return of Marvel Television's Daredevil Born Again.
31:19So what's next? I feel liberated. We're going to take this city back.
31:23Over-Medicated. In an all-new season now streaming only on Disney+.
31:26They're hunting us. It's time we started hunting them.
31:29I can work with them. This should be tons of fun.
31:32Marvel Television's Daredevil Born Again. Now streaming only on Disney+.
31:35Is this draft been one that's been going pretty quick?
31:38Or do you got another 12 hours before you're back up the problem?
31:42No, this has been a quick draft. Again, it's not Titan Premium.
31:46Like, if it's Titan Premium or Titan Super Premium, then this draft looks very different.
31:50I'm in other ones where I've taken three Titans and my first eight picks just because it's Titan Super Premium and the
31:57league is not fully internalized what the scoring really means for these players' production per position.
32:02So with the position scarcity, there's a lot of Titans out there, but there's not a lot of Titans that are going to produce Kyle Pitts-level numbers.
32:10So Kyle Pitts is lingering out there. You already have tight ends.
32:14You just got to push the button. As long as you have a super flex or a flex position to put him in, you got to do it.
32:22So I like to take control of the board.
32:25Generally speaking, I like to be either the first to draft a third quarterback or the first to draft a second or
32:31third tight end in Titan Super Premium and then dictate the terms to the board.
32:36So on the way back around, I will be hoping to be the first to draft a third quarterback.
32:42Yeah. Well, we'll see. I disagree a little bit with that.
32:45I would rather not be the star of the runs, but it's better to be the star of the run than it
32:52is to be at the end of it. Oh, yeah.
32:55When you're at the end of it, you're a complete prisoner.
32:58I think that the best way to do it is to make sure you get it in the middle of the run,
33:05but it's not always going to work with the way that the roster that you built has been constructed.
33:10But ideally, you want to be there in the middle because if you're at the very end, it forces your hand to
33:17say, all right, we're about to be out of an asset here.
33:21Yeah. You know what I mean? I got to take this guy, even though I'm taking on major depreciation here.
33:27It's like, I'd rather have the depreciated asset than not even have the asset at all, especially when it's like a third
33:33quarterback in something like a super flex league. It's so funny.
33:37I'm in drafts where we're not even halfway through and people are already trying to get my third quarterback from me.
33:43Like they miscalculated, many miscalculated, multiple teams in a lot of these leagues during these drafts, miscalculated quarterback demand, quarterback scarcity.
33:49Now it's like round 10, round 12. And they're coming to realize, oh, wait, all that's left is...
33:55It's Quinn Ewerd. Yeah, all that's left. I could go Geno Smith or what?
33:59And then so now I'm getting these offers like, hey, can you trade me Mendoza?
34:04And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
34:09Dude, you had your chance, man. But you just had to get that next receiver.
34:14It was just too exciting. You just couldn't, you had to, no, I'm not going to let it, no.
34:19So as soon as the draft is over, all these quarterbacks go up in value.
34:24Yeah. Because it's the same thing I've preached for years that everybody, like everybody knows, like if you play Superflex Dynasty enough,
34:31you just know this, but it's like one rule that you should just always follow in Superflex Dynasty that you should always
34:37have in your head that's up there with like, you know, that's up there in your mind in the same, like in
34:44the same part of your lizard brain is, you know, I need my head to be above water.
34:49I need to be, you know, I need to take in a breath every so often.
34:54You know, like these kinds of things, right? It needs to be like, I can't be in quarterback limbo.
35:00I just, I can't be in quarterback limbo. It's the, it's, it's, you're, you were going to lose, you know?
35:06So it just needs to be in your, in your lizard brain to say like, in all possible ways, it's like, you
35:13know, touch, touch hot stove, take hand away. Right.
35:15It's like, I can't be in quarterback limbo. And so you do what you can to make sure that you just, you just aren't ever in that spot.
35:24Here's another psychological fact is that based on your other rosters, your other leagues you're in can affect decisions you make in league after league after league.
35:32So I've taken over 20 orphans in 20 days.
35:35I can't believe you've not made a video of like, it just says just that it would do like a million views.
35:41It it it'll, it'll, it'll do well. I'm doing, I'm going to do it.
35:45Especially if it like you've had a good thumbnail of you looking real stressed out, like, you know, like, have you seen this thumbnail?
35:53No, I haven't seen ours for us. Have you seen our thumbnail?
35:56Because we haven't even, we haven't talked about it yet, but we're, we're, we're going to talk about it soon though.
36:03The thumbnail for this show, we're going to put this on.
36:06Look at the, well, that's, here it is. Desert Rams or no, is that dessert?
36:11No, no, no. So you won't, you want two desserts, but you just want one desert.
36:15That's right. This is desert Rams because of the, the, the, there's news that came out from Arizona suggesting that Devante Adams is actually Marvin Harrison Jr.
36:24And Pukan Akua is actually Michael Wilson. And so, yes, we'll, we'll have a good thumbnail.
36:28I can promise you that a camp scadaboo. I will note he is more injury prone now that he's had these lower
36:35body injuries, but guess who else has had lower body injuries and is even more likely to be injured.
36:41Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley. I mean, so all of those injuries have accrued.
36:45The, the, the, there's a lot of scar tissue in the legs of Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey, a lot more than, than cam scatter.
36:52But we actually, that's all factored in to our injury finder app.
36:56Here's a little bit more about it. You may draft a great team in fantasy football, but if those players get hurt, you're toast.
37:03So let's put my glasses on here and we're going to talk about injury probability because we have the data and now
37:10we have an app called the injury finder where you can look up if a player is more likely than another player
37:16to get hurt and miss significant time for your fantasy team this year, running backs, wide receivers, quarterbacks, tight ends.
37:23We have all of their precise injury probabilities. It is in the app store right now.
37:27It is five bucks for the 2026 injury probabilities.
37:30Check it out. It's injury finder.com app store, Google play five bucks.
37:34You're welcome. I just saw JK Dobbins on there.
37:36It looks like you put a 51% chance of injury.
37:39Is that what he said? Or is that just a placeholder kind of thing?
37:44JK Dobbins has several lower body injuries that were major and yes, and they've stacked up.
37:48And so that, that every injury you have increases the probability you get another injury, which is, it's, it's, it's a, it's just a fact.
37:56It's, it's a physiological fact of sports. I haven't back tested that or anything like that, but if you just as an
38:03observer of sports and somebody that does this, does this for a job, it sure seems like I would bet money that that's true.
38:10I'm, I'm sure you guys have done the actual study on it.
38:14We could, we could, at this point, we just ask AI, right?
38:17AI is affecting fantasy sports businesses, right? And so one of the questions that we've had for this particular show, you and
38:24I should talk about how much of a threat is AI to fantasy sports?
38:28I mean, I look, I, it's, it's a, I mean, it's a nuanced discussion, right?
38:33It's, I mean, I think that people are having to have these discussions across their industries, regardless of the industry that they're in, right?
38:40And not just like how it affects us, but gosh, like how are we going to find somebody here in this building
38:47who knows how to use this, who knows how to harness it, that is not going to let our competitors get ahead
38:53of us in some kind of way. Um, I think that in fantasy sports, I feel like to a certain degree, we're
39:00able to, I think that there are certain people, man, I just, I think that there's certain stuff that AI can start to do now.
39:07Um, that really helps AI has helped me a lot with some of my processes.
39:12One, you know, one thing that AI is, do you know what AI is really good at, man?
39:17Tell me help, helping you to manage a spreadsheet and helping you to kind of parse through a database and find specific things.
39:24If you haven't done it in a while and you just, you wonder what all the AI stuff is about.
39:30If you are big into spreadsheets, like we have to be for this job, you know, doing modeling and things like that.
39:37It can, it can, man, it takes away sometimes like four hours of busy work that I used to have, which is,
39:44you know, putting in the formulas, getting, getting things sped out, batching different tabs, all the rest of it.
39:49Right. Um, and so that kind of stuff helps.
39:52We have a new AI tool that's coming out at Rosterwatch that we'll have soon.
39:57I don't want to get too much into it.
39:59It's in beta. It's finished. It's done. It's a beautiful, beautiful tool that's going to help our users immensely.
40:05Um, and that'll be up soon. Um, but that was something that I was able to create just like through, through it's
40:12an AI tool, but I was able to create it by AI helping me code this tool.
40:17Like I, it's, it's like alchemy. It's like, um, it's, it's, you know, the tools that you have at your disposal are amazing.
40:24But yeah, I mean, to say it's not going to affect, um, I just, I don't think for fantasy sports, I don't
40:30think you can just go to Claude and say, who should I start this week between camp Scatterboo or, you know, Quinch on Judkins.
40:38I, I, I think you could, and it could probably pull some stuff from X where it's like, you know, yada, yada, yada.
40:45But I do think that there's things that we've learned about the kinds of, um, you know, the kinds of analytics and
40:51the kinds of tools and the kinds of things that we've just learned through our human experience that help us to be able to give this advice.
41:00Certainly whenever you're drafting, I don't think AI is going to be able to understand, you know, leveraging ADP or sweet spots
41:06for certain positions or like little tips like that, that are sort of human tricks of the trade.
41:12Um, they can be built into tools. And I also just, I also, I think we're a long ways off from AI
41:18being able to sit here and do this stuff, like be like, be able to sing, dance and entertain, man.
41:24Like I just, I don't think it's, I think, I think it's gonna be harder for people trying to get into the space.
41:31Right. Because it's like, if you've, if you've, if you've built an audience and you've, and thankful, we've been so lucky and
41:38so grateful to our audience, you built an audience who like you like them.
41:42They like you, they trust, you know, they trust your advice.
41:45Sometimes they'll say your advice stinks or, you know, they'll give you trouble.
41:49But for the most part, you have people who, you know, they, they want to be part of this community and they
41:56want to talk about fantasy sports and they're all up in the chat and we, and we'd love to have them.
42:02And, um, I just, I think that maybe if you're kind of new and trying to break in, it could be a
42:09little bit harder, maybe for, maybe for that. I know that you've said that you think that fantasy pros is probably somebody
42:16who's a little bit more susceptible to the actual AI just comes and, um, is, is able to do something that they've
42:22been doing and they've been monetizing is their sort of main avenues.
42:26Like our, our, our main avenues kind of been our community.
42:29I'm not sure that AI changes that much as long as we stay ahead of the curve here and we make sure
42:36it's like, all right, well, AI is able to do this.
42:39We want to make sure our community is able to leverage AI to do this.
42:44Right. Which is what we're doing. Yeah. I, I'm not saying fantasy pros specifically, but in general, if your, uh, primary objective
42:50is to aggregate information, that's what AI is doing and doing at the highest possible level.
42:55You can't replicate, uh, by hand what AI can do in terms of data aggregation.
43:00There's no way. Right. And you can't, uh, you just can't compete.
43:03If that's the, the crux of your value proposition for customers, you're not gonna be able to compete with that.
43:09Right. The way we can create something that is a unique value proposition for our audience, for our customers is to, like
43:16we talked about, marry insights, deep insights with an entertaining presentation.
43:19Mm-hmm . If you can do those things and then provide fantasy gamers with tools to do sophisticated, make sophisticated moves and
43:26make difficult decisions, then you can be not immune from the threat of AI, but you can at least, uh, be providing
43:33a service and products that, uh, that are not available just at a keystroke or a prompt in Claude or Gemini or chat GPT.
43:40And taking that a step further, particularly with tools.
43:43If you and I, for example, can master Claude, we can build tools on roster, watch.com and on player profiler.com that weren't available previously.
43:50And that's what I'm doing right now. I'm in the middle of a Claude bootcamp so that I can on my own
43:57for the first time without having to always be outsourcing the work to technologists.
44:01You can just create this thing in an HTML and send it to Frank and all Frank does is just put it up on the site.
44:09Yeah. It's like, it just integrates right. It's wild.
44:11It's wild what can be done. Yeah. And so forever, like as soon, as soon as I got into technology right out of college, right?
44:19I started working at a software company and getting questions from customers or is this possible like feature requests, enhancement requests, and
44:26always having to huddle up with the technologists because I didn't understand fundamentally.
44:30And for decades, I have not understood the fundamental inner workings of code based products.
44:34Yeah. And it has been a perpetual frustration in that I'm always having to just trust technologists that they're giving it to
44:41me straight and that they're not overcharging me, that I'm not paying for hours that are unnecessary.
44:46I have no idea. Which to you is just a death sentence.
44:49It's just like a sentence to life in hell, not having all that information available to you.
44:55Just knowing you, it's like, it's a fate worse than death.
44:58It's been, I would say, had has been my greatest frustration.
45:01That whole sort of dilemma that I've found myself in for decades has been the greatest frustration as a person running a business.
45:08But even before, even when I was just an employee and I was just sort of running a team that was constantly
45:15interfacing with the technology department, always my greatest frustration.
45:18So, the advent of AI in particular, the Claude code, the ability to code with Claude, someone who is not, it, I
45:24simply, not only do I not have the training, I just don't think I have the aptitude.
45:29Like, I don't think I have the brain for it.
45:32Like, I'm just not good enough, period. Like, I know my strengths.
45:36I know my weaknesses. I'm not good enough to code from scratch all the tools that we want on, on player profiler.
45:43But now that Claude exists, now there is a reality where I can be spearheading the initiative and I can understand all
45:49the requirements and the level of effort involved from start to the finish of the project.
45:54And if I can take a project start to finish, man, and understand every element, conceptually, conceptualize every element of it, the
46:01implementation, that allows me to sleep at night. That right there gains me 20 minutes of sleep every night.
46:07Just a better quality sleep, just knowing that. And so that to me, that's why to me, AI is, is an ex
46:13the advent of AI and the ubiquity of it is exciting for this because what people want, they want to know what
46:20I think they want to know why I'm making certain decisions.
46:23Why are we implementing this particular strategy? Why are we using these particular tactics in fantasy drafts, startups and dynasty best ball, seasonal leagues?
46:30Why are you making these pickups? It's why they tune into the shows like top 10 takeaways or waiver wired or mind
46:37of mansion or content kings and all of this, this is something that is not going to be replaced with AI, but
46:44we can continue to augment supplement and improve our player profiler tools using AI.
46:48So for us, it's a net benefit. Two, two, two things.
46:51Okay. First thing is like you, you said it perfectly as I'm beginning to start manually testing the ultimate draft cheat sheet at roster watch.
46:59There's no way I could have a AI do that for me.
47:02I couldn't, for one, I wouldn't be able to present the way that I present and talk about drafts and talk about
47:09the structure of drafts and the anatomy of drafts and how things happen in drafts and what you've seen happen in drafts
47:16and what you've noticed happening over time in drafts without just getting, just getting in there and just simulating, simulating, simulating.
47:22It's the, it's the way that I've always done it, right?
47:25Um, that's when you find the value hotspots, which when you, it's where you find leverage versus ADP.
47:31Um, and, and ways to, and ways to backfill your roster.
47:34Whenever you have leveraged ADP to a certain position, the ways to round out the roster to where you're well, well balanced, right?
47:41It's like, Hey, I can't do that yet. I don't know.
47:44Maybe one day we'll be able to. The second thing I'm going to tell you is if you're working right now with
47:51the claw code and doing all this stuff, something that I'll just, the advice that I'll give you, because you said you
47:58can see it through from beginning to end, see it through on your own.
48:02And to a certain degree you can, because you're working with the agent to help you build the code.
48:08Right. But you look at that code still, and you go to your inspect table and you put it in, and you
48:14open up the, um, the, uh, the, the visual code editor and all this stuff.
48:19And you still look at that code and you see a wall of code that you still don't, you still don't know it from a hill of beans.
48:27Right. It's like what you need to be doing that I learned that I wish I would have done from the very beginning.
48:34Anytime that you're making a tool in this thing within a chat session and kind of like vibe coding and stuff, every
48:41single update to the code that the agent makes, have him create this separate thing called a, called, called, called a, I just call it a handoff doc.
48:49Right. Because that means I did this in the code.
48:52This is why I did this in the code and just put it in the doc.
48:57And then let's come back once you put it in the doc, and then we can move on to the next task.
49:04Because this way, when I handed off either to somebody in a new, to an AI agent in the new chat, or
49:11more importantly, whenever you, whenever you hand it off to your web developer, and he looks at the code and he's like,
49:17dude, there's like some superfluous code here. What the hell is this?
49:21He can just look at the handoff doc and say, why did this AI agent put this in there?
49:27And why was it necessary? And so at a certain point in time, guys like you and I, they didn't grow up doing this coding.
49:34And that's not like, we're content guys. Right. But when you hand it off to the code guys and the website guys
49:41and stuff like that, this way, you don't have to explain for everything you did the whole time.
49:46It's like, there's a way that like a super, like, you know, just a super code nerd has talked about why, why, why they did this.
49:54Right. So just save it. It's, it saves you a lot of time to make sure that you're always having them update
50:01that handoff doc for when you got to hand it off to somebody else.
50:05It's great advice. Great advice. Now, one of the new sections of player profile, that's really been a big hit is our news section.
50:12And this was very easy to build. We didn't need AI to build this at all.
50:17It was so easy. These have been around for a minute, right?
50:21Yeah. Yeah. This, I mean, this is just straight up like a, you know, WordPress template go like no big deal.
50:27So I do want to put something up on the screen to show you right now.

51:18Okay. Okay. Footgate, I want to get your thoughts on this because this is not every day that we hear this where
51:25a player sits down and admits, this is my new normal and I'm never going to be the same athletically.
51:31I just, I think it's a poor Cody, man.
51:34It's like, I sent him this, this tweet, you know, and he's like, I'm like, not great.
51:39He's like, no, especially sitting on these, like, he's like, he's been apparently been on a Roma Dunze, uh, just drafting spree in his recent dynasty startups.
51:47He says, got him at a couple, got him like three new shares in the last week.
51:52I know I've been, yeah, he's been drafting Caleb Williams and stacking him with a Dunze.
51:57And then I felt great that I was able to get Caleb Williams for once.
52:02And no, I'm not trying to stack him with Roma Dunze.
52:05I love Roma Dunze. I think Roma Dunze is going to be just fine.
52:09Yeah. Roma Dunze happens to have elite explosiveness, but that's not what necessarily makes him an elite alpha.
52:15It helps him with get down field, have, have a higher, uh, average target distance, a dot for sure.
52:20He is still an elite separator and incredibly strong at the catch point.
52:24He's going to be able to play X for five plus years and be a go-to receiver for Caleb Williams, but he's
52:31not going to be that, you know, super explosive all world wide receiver one in his range of outcomes, wide receiver.
52:37Even if he's not that, that doesn't necessarily mean he moves below Luther burden.
52:42So my question for you is given this news, he will drop below Luther burden in startups.
52:47The ADP is going to flip, but will he flip for you?
52:50Will he flip for you in the rankings, the way you are, you know, sort of of quantifying the value of these players.
52:57I mean, in best ball, I've had burden ahead of Rome the whole time and people act, I mean, Cody acts like that's so bad.
53:05The news is as follows. Roma Dunze will never be the same.
53:08That's the headline on player profiler. The AP is reporting that Roma Dunze admits his 2025 foot injury created a different type of foot structure with these bones.
53:17And I feel like with the break, it's never going to be back to normal.
53:21It's going to be like a shoulder injury. He talked about a torn shoulder and AC joint.
53:27That's just never the same. And I've been told that, I mean, this is, I tore all my rotator cuff tendons and
53:33I'm now a year in and like, it works well, but there is a stiffness and a fatigue at the outer limits of my range of motion.
53:41And it's unclear whether that's ever going to feel like the other shoulder.
53:45As part of getting older, man. I mean, I'm like, it's like I had the same, I had, I had the same
53:52thing happen with my shoulder when I was like 20.
53:55Had to retire from playing, playing rugby. I was like 23 years old.
53:59Like, it's like, it hasn't been the same sentence.
54:02It's just, but it's like, like, you can't still do the things you do.
54:06It's just like, it feels a little different. Um, I, uh, but you know, never going to be the same.
54:12It freaks you out. What does that really mean though?
54:15That's the thing. That's what I'm trying to get at Alex.
54:18Like philosophically, what does this really mean? And what's to keep, and then like, it's like, even if he's not, even if
54:25he loses some of the explosiveness and stuff like that, like if he can still separate in the ways that Rome's big
54:32and he's pays powerful, he's really like, it's, I mean, I'd say that the very top end of his outcomes would be
54:38like, could he ever be like, um, you know, he won't ever be a Mike Evans because it's like, he started out
54:45with thousand yard seasons, but somebody that's like close to that kind of Mike Evans sort of territory.
54:50I think 85% Mike Evans would be his ultimate best case scenario for his career.
54:55Um, you know, the 100th percentile thing, I think realistically, maybe if he could be a, some kind of 55% Mike Evans would still be kind of good.
55:03Yeah. I just think, yeah. Speaker 1 A former bear 55% branded Marshall.
55:07Speaker 2 Oh yeah. Yeah. Marshall's a good, that's a good call out.
55:11Speaker 1 Yeah. Marshall never was a super speedster, but what did he do?
55:15He was able to gain separation. He was one of the best in those sideline routes.
55:20I mean, he just, he played the X receiver perfectly, which allowed Alshon Jeffrey to play the Z receiver position and be
55:27the closest thing to John Taylor we've ever seen in the NFL.
55:31Speaker 1 Oh, that's, I didn't think we'd be talking about Alshon Jeffrey and comparing it to San Francisco 49 or John Taylor.
55:37Um, the, uh, the, the, so with Luther Burton, I've, I've always had him ahead.
55:42I think with Rome, I'm going to make an update actually today to the best ball cheat sheet.
55:47I'm doing this right now live to version 3.2.
55:50I'm, I thought of where I had Rome was still pretty okay for redraft, but right now, I think certainly after Christian
55:57Watson's new deal, I'm taking Christian Watson over Roman and, and, and redraft in best ball.
56:02Right. And then the question becomes, do I want to take him over Carnell Tate?
56:06Um, I'm not sure I do right now, but I do still want to take him over to like guys like DJ Moore.
56:13I'm dude, I'm going to take, you know, what, what do you feel about D D D J Moore and some of
56:20the stuff he said about, you know, it feels like he's taking a while to acclimate to the new job and it
56:26doesn't seem like he's coming in there and he's just taking this wide receiver one role by the, you know, by the
56:33cojones and you know what I mean? Blowing into town with reckless abandon.
56:37There is a report from our chat that the bears are preparing a promotion in the fall featuring Roma duns a as the face of the franchise.
56:45That's hard to believe. That's hard to believe in light of this news and in light of the fact that they have
56:52Caleb Williams on the roster so that it's interesting.
56:55Like, would they be all in on promoting Rome as the face of the franchise?
56:59If the, if the team was concerned or was Roma duns, they just frustrated after a practice found himself on social media
57:06being way too honest because that honesty is never rewarded.
57:09Social media honesty is never rewarded. It's always exploited.
57:11All of these players are instructed not to reveal any information about injuries on social media because it does not serve them.
57:18And yet he had to learn this way that he had to learn.
57:22And now I'm sure he's never going to disclose anything on social media ever again, but he did it.
57:28And that's what we're looking for. There are so few windows into the truth as the season and the off season play
57:34out that when you do get these crumbs, you that's the thing you lock in on.
57:39That's why there's so much buzz about this revelation on social media a couple of days ago.
57:44Okay. Well still I'm moving Rome down a tiny bit.
57:47I'm going to, I'm going to moving Rome. I'm moving Rome and I'll, I'll test it, but I think this is right.
57:54I'm just going to move them down back to back with DJ Moore.
57:58So these, these guys are back to back once again, DJ more Rome, even though they're in different cities.
58:04And then I have, um, now and I think Luther burden, I'm going to keep him where I, where I, where I have him.
58:11I don't think he belongs up there, dude, dude.
58:14I'm not crazy enough. And I'm not, I'm not buying into the, the rookie year yards per route run and holding onto
58:20the priors and all the other things that, um, Cody's accused me of like, but so much to where I'm putting him
58:27up there with guys like Mike Evans or like Devante Adams or like lad who I think is in for a big
58:34year with Mike McDaniel, you know, like I'm not going to do that.
58:38Right. But I, I mean, I can, I can venture taking Luther burden ahead of guys like Jane, Jamo Jalen Waddle.
58:44That's fine. Right. Fine. Of course. Yeah. Why not, man?
58:47Yeah. It's going to be, it's going to be a pass first offense and they have their two receivers, right?
58:53It's going to be a lot of 12 personnel with commit and with Loveland Loveland in the move tight end position.
58:59And the target is going to consolidate around those three guys, Loveland and burden and a dunce.
59:04It's not like modern guy and swift are target magnets out of the backfield.
59:09So yeah, I, I love the certainty and the triumvirate consolidated target tree, uh, uh, or, or the target pecking order, those three guys at the top.
59:17And then there's a distance down to whoever else might be, might be commanding targets.
59:21I, I, I liked the, how that all sets up.
59:24It's an interesting spot there at the kind of the end of the fourth round of best ball drafts where, where I
59:31think Luther burden should be going because you do have the wide receivers like JMO and water, uh, Terry McLaurin sometimes will
59:38be around waddle, but it's also, that's where guys come into consideration.
59:41Like your Quinn, Sean Judkins is, you know, I think he's starting to come up a little bit, right?
59:47Oh yeah. Yeah. And can you explain to me the Terry McLaurin ADP?
59:51Cause I just got Terry McLaurin in another league in dynasty and his ADP is this, his ADP is the same as
59:58Devante Adams and he's three years younger and he has no target competition.
60:02Did Vante Adams has a higher ADP in best ball?
60:05No, I'm talking about dynasty here. Okay. Okay. Yeah.
60:07Because of the age difference, it doesn't make any sense.
60:10It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. And last year was a lost season.
60:14So he produced last year, even though Washington and Jaden Daniels had a lost season.
60:19So I'm in Tara McLaurin is one of these players.
60:22It's going to age. Well, I could see Tara McLaurin being out there and productive at age 35, unlike Saquon Barkley, Christian
60:29McCaffrey, he's had no lower body injuries. You talk about a guy who is the anti-Roma Dunze.
60:34There's no part of Tara McLaurin's body that he's had to miss a game.
60:38Like he's got 17 games every year. It is.
60:41I think if you look at his injury history on player profiler, we might see you know, a minor hamstring strain, a
60:47game missed here, a game missed there. But I mean, it is his, his injury track record is pretty unbelievable.
60:53He had the quad injury last year. That was the first time that he missed a game with an injury since 2020.
61:00Can you believe that? Dude, do you know what I can't believe?
61:04I misspoke earlier. It looks like Devante Adams is actually, his ADP is falling on, because I was using mainly Giraffe Kings
61:10to look at this, but it looks like on underdog Devante Adams is ADP is actually falling kind of down into this territory too.
61:17It is. Yeah. Yeah. Ladd has moved up. Oh, Ladd is a rocket ship in all formats.
61:23And it looks like Evans is Evans moved up and McLaurin's moved up a little bit too.
61:28No, McLaurin is the guy. I mean, we're talking about one major injury in his NFL career.
61:33That's the only time he's ever been hurt to the extent where he had to miss more than one game was this quad injury.
61:40Now quad injury is bad, but, and certainly it could affect his explosiveness moving forward, having some scar tissue in his quad.
61:47But this is one injury in eight years that would potentially create scar tissue where he might say, Hey, my right leg
61:53because of this quad injury is never going to be the same.
61:57Okay. Yeah. Probably not. Yeah. Not quite the same explosiveness there, but McCaffrey Barkley, none of them are the same man.
62:03I just with Devante Adams, I wonder if Devante Adams, the thing about him is that people are just thinking that the
62:10touchdown luck is going to, it's like, even if you take away some of his touchdowns from last season, he's still finished.
62:17He's still like, what? Like he goes off the board at wide receiver.
62:21So that was slotting a wide receiver 22. Where is he right now on here?
62:25Why is he wide receiver 26? Yeah. Wide receiver 26.
62:28I just, it's hard for me to get him down too much.
62:32Do people like, do you, do you, I mean, do you like burden and McLaurin both over Devante Adams this season?
62:38No, I like Devante Adams and, and, and McLaurin more than burden the season this year.
62:43All right. In dynasty. Also, I believe that Devante Adams is not a one-year rental.
62:48I think Devante Adams is going to have another year.
62:51I think he is similar to say a Larry Fitzgerald and that he's going to play out to age 35, 36.
62:57I mean, he and McLaurin, both of them have identical dynasty ADPs.
63:01And I think they're going to both play out until age 35.
63:04And so I think I've been drafting Devante Adams.
63:07We on the sonic truth show. So everyone should go check out the sonic truth podcast.
63:12It was a, it was a dropped a couple of days prior and it's up on YouTube as well.
63:17We went through a bunch of these startups and I stacked Devante Adams with Matthew Stafford in a super flex startup dynasty felt amazing.
63:25I like that. Cause I can always get out if I'm not competitive.
63:29I can always trade them before Halloween. Huh? Do you like Christian Watson more than Jamison Williams?
63:34I do now. I think I do too. I like, it's hard to believe that a contract would, would make you do that.
63:41Yeah. Well, the difference is actually Jamison Williams is two years younger.
63:44Christian Watson, because he was at the senior bowl, he came out at a relatively late age.
63:49Jamison Williams came out very early, too early. Like as soon as he was able to declare for the draft, like he was like, here's my paperwork.
63:58I'm in, I'm in, I'm in the NFL. So actually Jamison Williams is younger.
64:02I think that's one of those, that's one of those clear I'll take Watson and best ball and I'll take Jamison Williams and dynasty.
64:09I think that's right too. So that's, that's, that's where I'm at with that.
64:13Uh, so this is, uh, we're talking about injuries and we're talking about, you know, medical reviews, these teams undertake news dropped
64:20earlier that AJ Brown, actually his medicals were rejected by the Rams, but they were accepted by the Patriots.
64:26What do you make of that? Well, it was the, uh, the initial, so that was back in March.
64:32Right. And so that was the initial sort of outreach they'd done on AJ Brown's medicals that they were just like, all
64:38right, there's no re there's no reason to pursue this.
64:41Right. Um, but I mean, I think it's probably, it's probably, you know, it's somewhat worrisome.
64:46I like, I, here's the thing. I like AJ Brown this year.
64:50Cody was the one that talked me into AJ Brown when he started rattling off these 29 and 30 year old wide
64:56receivers that when they get into a Josh McDaniels offense, they come and they get fed for 150 catches and 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns.
65:04And, um, it's like, it's just, it's happened over and over and over again with these, with these vets that have come
65:10in and come, come in and done it. Yeah.
65:13But I think it's just a one-year deal with AJ Brown and the fact that, you know, he again, gets on one
65:20of these podcasts and pulls a Roma Dunze and over talks about his medical stuff saying that, you know, for the Eagles
65:27run the year before last or whatever, he was having to get his knees, his knees drained every week, every week, you
65:33know, and then there's all kinds of people are just so worried.
65:37They're like, you know, the, the hamstring flare ups and the knee stuff and everything now has to do with the scar
65:43tissue that was built up over that time. Um, but I think, so I think, yeah, I think dynasty is terrifying.
65:50He, he, he went in that fifth round of the one that you just took the one that you're in right now.
65:56And I just thought that that seemed super, super early.
65:59That must be a win now kind of team, but for redraft, I think that AJ Brown's a, a great buy right now.
66:06I think that the whole new England thing really helped.
66:09I think it helps them. I'm in some leagues where like he went shockingly early, right?
66:14Like the same round as a flowers. And I'm like, wait, Z flowers is going to produce more fantasy points than him.
66:21And he's four years younger. So this just feels weird to me, right?
66:25This feels weird to me. So if I were to put this up on the screen right now, okay, look at this
66:31in this particular startup, it's not news that AJ Brown was headed to New England.
66:36Like everyone's known this for weeks and months. And yet AJ Brown went a pick before Devante Smith, but look at the
66:43name and the avatar of the person who selected AJ Brown.
66:46Pats. Yep. That's it. Vrabel is in the avatar.
66:49The name of the, the username is T Pats.
66:51And he goes, AJ Brown over Devante Smith. And that is simply a Homer mistake.
66:56It's a bad mistake. There's no other way to say it.
66:59I love Devante Smith with no AJ Brown. Love Devante Smith.
67:03Love him. His splits without AJ Brown. Haven't really, haven't really been that good.
67:07But the fact of the matter is, it's like whenever AJ Brown has missed time, weirdly Devante Smith is missed time.
67:13And like, I think there's, there's only been four games that Devante Smith played without AJ Brown at least starting the game active.
67:20So it's too small a sample. I think that, I think that this just lines up great for him.
67:26I think it lines up great from, from a Kai lemon.
67:29I know it sucks. He hadn't been able to practice, but it's, I wish I had more Devante Smith.
67:35I really do. It bums me out, but the problem is in super flex, he goes in the rounds where I am almost always drafting quarterback.
67:43Like there's a sweet spot for quarterback there. And yet I know I can get a Christian Watson, a Parker Washington, Devante
67:49Adams, McLaurin, all the way down to Jaden Reed, Josh Downs, even, you know, I mean, I don't know.
67:55Jalen Coker. I'll say it right. I almost didn't say it.
67:59I wasn't going to say Jalen Coker because I didn't want to let my league mates know how much I love.
68:05I'll let him say it. Jalen Coker doesn't belong in that same discussion with the Parker Washington's and the McLaurins and the
68:12like JMO would, would have been a name you could have used or water.
68:16Oh no. Those guys are going much earlier. Downs goes late.
68:19Jaden Reed goes late. Yeah. If we're talking downs and stuff, that's a different area.
68:24They go late. I'm telling you, they all go in the same round.
68:28They don't want those three players, Jaden Reed, Josh Downs, and Jalen Coker.
68:31They went back to back to back in a draft.
68:34I'm in Coker. Huh? People just love him. That's crazy.
68:38As do I, as do I. And we talked about this Christian Watson contract.
68:42Okay. How does that affect how you value your boy, Matthew Golden in dynasty?
68:46Your golden boy. It's gotta help, right? Can't get worse.
68:49How does that help Matthew Golden? Oh no. I'm just saying with Dontavion Wicks and Dobbs being gone.
68:54Oh, that helps for sure. That helps Matthew Golden.
68:57It certainly consolidates things. You love to see it.
69:00Yeah. Yeah. And it's like, even if they want to, you know, even if they want to run, you know, they want
69:07to run more 12 personnel, they want to do more of that stuff.
69:10I think that that's, that's fine. And you got, you gotta remember man, that Matthew Golden, you know, he came from, he
69:17was only in Texas for one season coming out of a Dana Holgerson run and shoot, like weird air raid offense.
69:23You know what I mean? He came to Texas and he honestly, he wasn't, he didn't become the Matthew Golden that everybody
69:30remembers until right at the end of the season.
69:33And then through that, um, through, through, through that semifinal run in the playoffs, you know what I mean?
69:39He was, he was, uh, that's whenever he showed off this stuff where it was like, you know, his stats were never
69:45super awesome, but it was like the actual athletic feats that he would pull off on, on the field sometimes looked like Odell Beckham or something like that.
69:54And you would just be like, this guy just hasn't, he's incredibly skilled.
69:58And the, the NFL thought so too, the Green Bay Packers obviously thought so took a wide receiver in the first round
70:04for the first time in what 23 years. Yeah.
70:07And, um, so I think that there's organizational commitment.
70:10That's still the same organization. That's still the same administration.
70:13If you want to call it that with the head coach and the, and the GM and all the rest of it, they've, they've paid Christian Watson.
70:21They've made a huge draft capital investment in Matthew Golden.
70:24They obviously like Jaden Reed and Jaden Reed's the one that's most likely to come off the field whenever they go, they, they go to two tight ends.
70:32Maybe, maybe it's, it's, it's a battle. It's going to be a battle to see who's going to get that, that starting
70:39job in two receiver sets golden versus read because the contract now dictates that Watson's definitely going to be out there.
70:45So here we go. This is the, the exact order.
70:48It went Josh Downs, Jaden Reed, Matthew golden, Jalen Coker.
70:51That was the exact order. Which of those receivers does not belong?
70:55I'd say Coker dude. I know that he looked good towards the end of last season, but they took Chris, Chris Brazel.
71:02I mean, they have Ted Arroyo, McMillen. Who's the obvious brazzle you what's, what's next.
71:06You can tell me Lee get. Well, I mean, they get, well, I think Coker's probably there.
71:11I don't know. I mean, I guess he's the, what he said, but he's the wide receiver.
71:16He's, he's, he's maybe the wide receiver too, for the, for the Panthers.
71:20He's definitely the wide receiver too. He's going to be out there in two receiver sets and he's going to be productive.
71:27This is a team. They're going to be playing a lot of shootouts in the NFC South.
71:32You need to get on board with Jalen Coker, an undrafted wide receiver that actually pushed his way, forced his way onto
71:39the active roster and then into the lineup as an undrafted rookie that never happens.
71:43Thielen couldn't do it. Even Victor Cruz couldn't do it.
71:46Coker did it. God damn it. Okay. Yeah. I'm taking Reed.
71:50I'm taking Reed and Golden over Coker. And I like, I like, I think a dynasty, like just, I don't know.
71:56It's like Cody and I were talking about the other day and we were just like, Cody's like, Cody was using, cause
72:03it was the whole Luther Burden conversation. Cody's like disparaging him saying, well, what, what if he's just Jaden Reed?
72:09You know what I mean? I'm just in the, whenever you can use him as that kind of talking point, you say
72:15like, well, why not give me the guy that could have the upside to be more than a dude that you compare
72:22as a worst case scenario for, for a player that you do like.
72:26I want to talk about crispy crispy's in here.
72:29I like, I like the username crispy three, three, three, eight, five.
72:32He says the Panthers can run 11 personnel and Coker will be out there with Tett and Brazel.
72:38And that's true. Certainly Coker will be out there in 11 personnel.
72:41That's not up for dispute, but here's the thing.
72:44And you see this happening all the time with non first round wide receivers, like a Chris Brazel.
72:50Nobody knows, right? Jonathan Mingo. He was the last Brazel in Carolina and he couldn't get on the field because he couldn't separate.
72:57So this assumption that guys get drafted in the top 100, they're going to be in the game.
73:02Week one is a fallacy. It happens time and time and time and time and time again, this year you've got stripling
73:09to Brazel Bernard all the way down. And there's this assumption that, Hey, they're going to be out there in three receiver sets at the very least.
73:17No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
73:19We have seen this movie every single year. So I don't know why this happens, but every year it's like there's a
73:26men in black memory reset for how these rookies are handled.
73:29Even first round rookies likely get himself struggled to get on the field.
73:33And we've seen this with many rookies, even first rounders, Josh Doxon, Corey Coleman.
73:38I mean, I could go down the list of Laquan Treadwell, Rager, Kadarius, Tony, and so many, even top 10 picks, Tavon Austin.
73:45There's been so many that they couldn't capture a role in training camp and preseason where they're out there in three receiver sets to kick off the year.
73:53And no surprise, it's this guy in his fourth year who knows the system who's trusted by the quarterbacks and the coaches,
74:00and he's going to be out there and you just need to be prepared.
74:04That's just how this is going to be. It'll probably be Lee get over brazzle just because league at knows the system.
74:11Well, you could argue he doesn't actually know the system, but he, he at least has years as a professional that he
74:17can fall back on that brazzle does not probably more likely.
74:21We'll just end up seeing a lot of Tommy tremble and, uh, Jatavian Sanders and just a lot of two receiver sets
74:27because they don't want to have league at or brazzle out there.
74:31Yeah. I don't know. It's like, I think that kind of a weird spot, weird spot to be in right.
74:37Weird spot to be in with the, with Xavier Lee get.
74:40I think at this point you can write him off.
74:43Oh, it's over. Yeah. You drop him, drop him.
74:46I there's the, he's one of, we should actually, I'll do this.
74:50I'm going to create a list of hopium fueled wide receivers that you can just drop in dynasty.
74:55I'm going to, that's going to be one of my next on, on patreon.com slash pod father.
75:00Uh, this week I put up my top 10 values and in the first 10 rounds of a dynasty super flex startup
75:07based on all these startups that I'm currently participating in.
75:10And it's also up on our sub stack. And, uh, you should check out sub stack.com search for player profiler or just fantasy football.
75:17Like we're, we're, we're in the top, top, uh, we're, we're, we're, we're in the top, uh, channels for fantasy on sub stack.
75:24Let me ask you some of these guys. Can you, all right.
75:28So can, can, can you drop them in, in dynasty, just regular size dynasty, right?
75:32Tell me. Hopium. Let's just go through some, um, Brandon.
75:35Iuke. Okay. That's the hardest one. Okay. That is the hardest one that what do you think is going to happen with Brandon?
75:42Iuke man. I think he could be done. He sounds like he just doesn't want to play football anymore.
75:48And it's just over like for him to restart the engine and to get back in the mode of coming to the
75:55building every day, working out every day and dealing with all the aches and pains and all of the, the contact that
76:01you have to, you know, all the fighting and a hand fighting and the pushing and the shoving and the spitting and everything.
76:08When you're in that mode, when you're in gladiator mode, it feels normal, but that's not normal human behavior.
76:14Just like it's not normal for these guys to eat 10,000 calories a day on the offensive line.
76:19And then as soon as they stopped playing football, they immediately lose 50 pounds instantly.
76:24It's just not normal. It's not human natural behavior.
76:27Once you extract yourself from that world for multiple years, getting injected back into it, sending you back into the matrix is easier said than done.
76:34Let me ask you some more. Well, I didn't give you an answer.
76:38I didn't give you an answer. I have Iuke and I am not yet dropping him, but I'm close because he was
76:45so efficient in his final year where he played football.
76:48It was like top five in yards per route run.
76:51It's a real shame what's happened to him, but it's, it's very much a possibility.
76:56And I would actually look into this prop on Cal sheet or poly market, uh, you know, how many snaps does Brandon
77:02play for the rest of his career. And I'd be interested to know what the zero prop pays out, but I can't, I just can't.
77:10The upside's too great for me to drop him now.
77:13He's not even 30 yet. So I'm still going to wait on Brandon.
77:17I you. All right. How about Cedric Tillman? I've dropped him.
77:20Okay. So that's okay. What about Keon Coleman? Bye.
77:23So you're not, so you're not dropping him. You're actually buying.
77:26It's over. No. Oh, bye. Bye meaning, bye-bye. B-Y-E.
77:29You, so he's off your team. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
77:32Crazy, bye. Tomorrow morning is knocking. Stock your fridge now.
77:35How about a creamy mocha frappuccino drink? Or a sweet vanilla?
77:38Smooth caramel maybe. Or white chocolate mocha. Whichever you choose, delicious coffee awaits.
77:42Find Starbucks frappuccino drinks wherever you buy your groceries.
77:45You thought this was your run club era. Turns out it was more of a thinking about run club era.
77:51The good news? Someone's marathon training is about to start.
77:54Sell your workout gear on Depop. Just snap a few photos and we'll take care of the rest.
78:00They get their race day fit and you get a payout for trying.
78:04Someone on Depop wants what you've got. Start selling now.
78:07Depop. Where taste recognizes taste. What about Tyreek Hill?
78:09Well, I'm holding him so I can put him on IR.
78:13Okay. I'm trying to think of one that's like a little harder because they're younger and might still have some.
78:19How about Jack Besh? Oh, yeah. Oh, what? Oh, no.
78:22Dude, you can't be dropping Jack Besh. There's huge opportunity right now in Las Vegas.
78:26The thing's wide open. Okay. He's not that old.
78:29He wasn't in a situation where they gave him great opportunity and he just face planted like Keon Coleman or Xavier Leggett.
78:36No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Think about who's ahead of him in the depth chart.
78:41Jalen Naylor? Penciling Jack Besh to play slot right now.
78:44Trey Tucker, Jalen Naylor, Jack Besh. That's the three receiver set.
78:47That's 11 personnel. Now, he's not going to play a lot of 11 personnel because there's a lot of Michael Mayer and
78:54Brock Bowers, a lot of 12 personnel in Las Vegas this year.
78:58That's what I'm projecting. But still, I mean, it's Besh is an upside play with a young quarterback.
79:03The idea that he and Fernando Mendoza could maybe develop a rapport in camp and preseason.
79:08This is exciting. Do not drop Jack Besh. My goodness.
79:11Oh, well, that would just be a giant blunder.
79:14I'm trying to get him. I've actually found him on the waiver wire in a couple of leagues.
79:19I'm trying to gobble him up. All right. Two more.
79:22He's a second round pick, dude. How about how about Torrey Horton?
79:26Jack Besh had over a thousand receiving yards on 16.7 yards per reception, a 70% catch rate and nine receiving touchdowns.
79:32And he was active on special teams at TCU.
79:35My goodness. And Andy was and he was on an LSU, you know, managed to play on an LSU squad that had just tons of future NFL guys.
79:43You absolutely want Jack Besh in the chat. They're asking about Adonai Mitchell.
79:47You absolutely want Adonai Mitchell. Adonai Mitchell is a spike week specialist.
79:51He's the perfect guy for the end of a best ball draft or just a guy to get upside in flex.
79:57If you're desperate, there's no guarantee that Omar Cooper is going to be starting every snap full route participation week one.
80:04This is exactly what we're talking about. This is exactly the situation where we see a lot of guys drafted at the end of the first round.
80:12Jalen Rager. I mean, the list is so long.
80:14We just mentioned a couple key on Coleman, Xavier Lee get you need to wait.
80:19We need to see what Omar Cooper is before you're dropping Adonai Mitchell.
80:23There's upside there with Gino Smith. This is going to be more pass volume, more downfield pass volume, more downfield accuracy, and
80:30Adonai Mitchell will benefit from all of that. What do you think about dropping Torrey Horton?
80:34Absolutely not. What? I'm just asking. Oh my God.
80:37Don't tell Cody that Cody absolutely loves Torrey Horton.
80:40He was productive and scored a bunch of touchdowns as a rookie before Rashid Shaheed showed up.
80:45I have a ton of Torrey Horton. I love him.
80:48There was a big debate that we had of Torrey Horton versus Jalen Royals.
80:52Jalen Royals has a clear path to commanding targets this year that Torrey Horton really doesn't with Rashid Shaheed now in Seattle,
80:59but you know, Torrey Horton's an injury away from having a major role.
81:03You got to make sure you keep Torrey Horton stashed.
81:06Okay. And finally, can you drop Rashad Bateman? Yeah.
81:09Yeah. Rashad Bateman's over. Sadly, I mean that you're talking about a massive Rashad Bateman truther, but enough years have gone by
81:15where it's just he, his role is perimeter possession receiver with a run first quarterback.
81:20And that guy has very little upside and a zero point floor.
81:23There's gotta be another guy. There's gotta be another guy.
81:26I could just, I want to say for players that I have criticized that I'm still keeping, I'm still holding on to Quinton Johnston.
81:34It's actually been consistently productive, not productive at a high level, but consistent in a way that the other players we've talked about.
81:41Was I giving you one guys that were too easy?
81:44What about Isaiah Bond? Like I think Cedric Tillman's too easy.
81:47That's he's an easy drop, but Isaiah Bond is interesting.
81:50I'd be fine dropping Isaiah Bond. Okay. How about Kyle Williams?
81:53Especially with, I mean, they got, they got Denzel Boston.
81:56Now they got, they have Casey Concepcion. Kyle Williams.
81:59No, I'm not dropping him yet. No, we're holding on to Kyle Williams.
82:03Yeah. I'm not going to drop Kyle Williams. A drop I've made in recent weeks is Roman Wilson.
82:08I think it's fine. What, what, what are you gaining?
82:11Okay. So, okay. So if there's an injury, okay.
82:14DK Metcalf goes down, then what? Michael Pittman goes down.
82:17Then what Alex? It will. The whole thing was if, if, if, if Aaron Rogers was going to adopt him here for
82:24a little bit of a rental is his kind of super smart, little crafty gadgety Randall Cobb type.
82:29He would have already done that. We have not seen any inclination.
82:33What are you, the Cody's joke is he changed, he changed his number to number 14 and hopes that, that Rogers will think he's gaining well.
82:41Oh yeah. Yeah. That's funny. That's right. He should introduce himself as Kenny.
82:45Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It just comes back. Hey, did you, uh, did you happen to go on any family trips recently because
82:51I'm wearing a leads Jersey and I just got back from leads.
82:55I was in England and I had a guy's trip.
82:58Uh, we went to go see leads United leads United.
83:01Uh, it was tied. So it was a nil nil draw 95th minute.
83:05Dominic Calvert Lewin scores the winning goal. The place went berserk.
83:08It was, it was, it was a magical day to be on the pitch.
83:12And it was, it was a great time. We basically played poker and this cool Airbnb that we had in the countryside.
83:19Uh, and we're able to experience England as the English experience it without a lot of tourists.
83:24The only time we really were, you know, interacting with anyone that wasn't English was when we went on the Liverpool taxi tour.
83:31Uh, you know, just going around all the Beatles sites, strawberry fields and the barber shop on Penny lane.
83:37And we did get to see all that. It was very interesting.
83:41It's very cool. It just to kind of see what life was like back then for John, Paul, Ringo and George.
83:47And, and we, it was, it was cool. It was in our, our tour guide was amazing.
83:52So we really enjoyed that. So we saw some tourists, right?
83:55We did a tourist thing, but that was it.
83:58And so that was my, my recommendation, mansion lifestyle hack for anyone that is going to be doing one of these guys
84:05trips is, is don't pack too much. Don't pack too many activities into the agenda and try to go somewhere, find an
84:11Airbnb that is not a tourist destination. Yeah. I like it.
84:15It's kind of the, kind of the hack for the, um, player profile draft house, right?
84:20Kind of get out of town a little bit and get to see some of the, get to see some of the way that the locals live.
84:28That's right. Yeah. That's what we do with it, with a draft house.
84:32We could pay some exorbitant fee to stay very close to the stadium, or you could get out away from the stadium.
84:38The nice thing is in a lot of these towns and cities, the stadium is already not in the downtown area.
84:45So you can find, you can either be close to the airport or close to the stadium or, you know, some relative
84:51proximity where it's very reasonable, and still be in a, in a rural place where the Airbnb is super cost-effective and, and
84:58just, it has a ton of amenities. And that's what we always, we've gone for with the, the player profiler draft house.
85:05Or get some, get one that's like when we're super lucky and we get one that's on a body of water where, where we can fish.
85:12You know what I mean? Like that's the, that's the best.
85:16Two years in a row, we had Michigan and we were in Tampa.
85:20We were on the water and caught a bunch, you caught a bunch of fish.
85:24We didn't catch a lot of, you caught a lot of fish.
85:28We, we, we all caught fish. We all caught fish.
85:31So we did. Caught, caught, caught a bunch of fish this last week, man.
85:35Um, my son did too. It was a great time.
85:38The best part of that, we, we took a family trip.
85:41My daughter, she had a, um, so it's her first year with this whole thing, doing like the travel sports and she's
85:48playing basketball with AAU for a fifth grade team.
85:51And so, wow, nice. They have to, they had to travel to Orlando for the ESPN Wide World of Sports Memorial Day Classic that they played in.
85:59And, um, dude, her first game, they played against this E, this EYBL team from Atlanta.
86:04I stood as a fifth grade team. And one of the girls on the team had a, had a tattoo sleeve.
86:10I think it happened in state. Our girls do.
86:13They couldn't get past half court versus these girls, but they ended up, um, making the bronze division championship to where they
86:20ended up winning medals and stuff like that. They ran through their division.
86:23It was bronze division. They got bounced out of the gold division with that first matchup.
86:28But so that was fun. But so we got a couple of days in Orlando before we were going to head to
86:35Longboat Key where Byron lives, um, and go fishing with Byron and go hang out there more of a laid back time.
86:42And so we had some days in Orlando and I'll tell you what, dude, not, I don't know how people can, I
86:48don't know how normal families can afford to go to this place.
86:52It's crazy. Everything's so expensive. Even when it's like, even my family, right?
86:56They didn't even want to go to Disney world.
86:59They didn't want to go to the new universal park or anything.
87:02They wanted to go to this thing. Like universal's got like a water park there, right?
87:07Oh yes. Yes. Volcano Bay. Volcano Bay with the, with the, with the, the super steep slide from the mountain, from the top of the mountain.
87:15Yeah. Me and my son did that slide over and over.
87:18They got the aqua coaster. That's just super sick.
87:21But, um, it's like at least that way you can get like, it's so hot down there, man.
87:26At least that way you can get in the water between rides, but I'll tell you this, just something to keep an eye out for there, man.
87:34Everything's so expensive for two. If you pay like, like so many people do with like credit card rewards points for these
87:41hotels, you get out of there and you realize like you've only paid for half your hotel because you get this invoice
87:48for like, you know, what would be the cost of the hotel?
87:51Cause they charge you like $90 a night resort fees and $25 a night, this fee and all the rest.
87:57Um, and then the most messed up thing is after you've given them an arm and a leg to enter into this park, right?
88:05You realize your kids aren't gonna get to ride a single ride unless you fork out like 130 bucks each to get
88:11this stupid fast pass where they get to cut his mind.
88:15You have to get the fast pass. No, no.
88:17They, they, they get you, man. They get you every which way.
88:21It's like, I just get done paying this tip for, I got, I literally just got done cutting off my pinky finger and giving it to these people.
88:29And like, now you're telling me, now you're telling me if my kids are going to ride any rides, I got to
88:36pay 130 bucks each for them to have a pass where they can go cut and do where they can go cut
88:43in line and act like little creeps. You know what I mean?
88:46And it's like, yeah, yeah, that's what we're going to need.
88:50And, and, and, and your water, your bottle of water is going to be 12 bucks too.
88:55Well, the best, my favorite part of volcano Bay is that they have the watch and you just program where you want to go and it'll alert you.
89:03And then if you go at a time, it'll stagger everybody.
89:07So you don't have to wait in line. You just show up and you take the ride.
89:12So that's, that's such a cool thing that they have there at volcano Bay.
89:16I love that. They've discontinued that technology as of like last March.
89:20Oh yeah. So yeah, they used to, it was amazing when they had it.
89:24I don't know why they would, I definitely read about that, but it was discontinued.
89:28So I do have one, a personal preference that whenever we go to a water park, I need to be in a cabana.
89:35I absolutely need to be in a cabana. I cannot be out on the sand.
89:40I despise trying to like maneuver these umbrellas to try to get a place.
89:44And then I have like sand all over me and I'm trying to like get comfortable and I'm always uncomfortable and I'm, I'm just miserable.
89:52And so my wife's like, if we're going to any water park, we need to get a cabana.
89:57Cause you know how dad gets right. So, cause they know I'm going to be super cranky.
90:02You know, if I'm schlepping umbrellas and I'm trying to do all that and I'm just going to be miserable, got sand in your towel.
90:10I'm going to be so mad. I'm going to be, so I was like, I was like, listen, it's gotta be, I'm sorry.
90:17It, this seems a super high maintenance and I get it, but I gotta, I gotta be in one of these cabanas
90:23or I don't want to go like, I'll go.
90:26There's so many other parks. There's so many other activities we can do.
90:30Just please don't put me in that position where I'm going to be a misery.
90:35I don't want to be a misery. I want to be fun.
90:38I want to be jovial. I want it to be a great time, but you know, that just, I don't like hot sand on my body.
90:46I don't like it. I hate it. And I'm not, I don't like the beach for that reason, but these parks are really fun, right?
90:54The rides are killer, dude. They're really fun. They're really fun.
90:57And I'm like, if we can somehow, if I can get there and I can go down the slide with you or
91:04the aqua coaster, and then I can be in the shade and I'm not Sandy, I'm not covered in hot sand, then it's fine.
91:11Right. But then that adds a whole expense. And it's like, well, do you know, just the cabana is, you know, the
91:18one thing though, they do have like a, a butler or whatever for the, but it's just, you add that expense.
91:24And that's just because of my own, you know, uh, preclusions, whatever it is.
91:28We ended up for a similar length trip. It's like expensive is going to Europe or something.
91:33We did two weeks in Japan and the year before the similar, you know, during my daughter's school break the year before
91:40we had gone to universal for a week. So on a per week basis, Florida is more expensive than Japan.
91:46If you include the flights, because the flight is the big expense.
91:50Now, when we went to Japan, we did stay with friends for a period of time, but that's the point, man.
91:56We don't have any friends in Orlando. Okay. I don't think anybody does.
92:00Right. It's just all tourists. That's the whole point is like, you can do creative Airbnb stays and stay with friends.
92:06And if you go to Europe or you go to Asia or you go wherever you could do, or you go somewhere in the United States.
92:14Like if I were to travel to Texas or something, we could stay with the Dunlaps.
92:19Right. And there's all these ways you can have a great time and not spend so much money that it ends up
92:26like becoming this weight on you, this debt that you have to pay back.
92:30So that when I'm trying there, there's, there's talk right now of going back next year.
92:35And I am actively trying to figure out if there's a way we can do literally anything else.
92:40My only problem is this new universal epic, epic park.
92:43It does look fun. Right. So I, it's hard.
92:46Like there's this debate and I'm like, and it's not hard to get me.
92:50Like you could start talking about the things with this new epic park.
92:54And it's like, well, that does sound good. That would be cool.
92:58Yeah. That does sound fun. Damn it. Do you know, do you know my best bit of advice, Matt?
93:03If you go do it, just make sure that one thing happens and make sure you get this thing completely straight.
93:10Okay. All right. This is my biggest advice that I'm, that I'm going to give you.
93:14Do not come home to a broken air conditioner.
93:17That's what you're doing yesterday, man. Working on the air conditioner.
93:21It's what I've been doing for like, ever since you got back.
93:24I mean, just, just don't do it. Just make sure not to come home to a broken AC.
93:30My dad said they used to, these things used to last 25 years.
93:34Not anymore. Not anymore. Sadly, not anymore. And, but we're not going to leave the people here with air conditioner talk.
93:40Okay. I want to ask you about Dion Sanders.
93:43He wants to meet with Todd Munkin and Todd Munkin has reportedly said that he's excited to meet with him.
93:49He can't wait that you Todd Munkin. I think one of his first priorities as coach was to meet with fellow coach Dion Sanders.
93:56He said, he can't wait. He's, he's very, he's very Alex.
93:59He's very excited about this. This is why Colorado has got the, this is why Colorado's got the longest odds of any
94:06team in the big 12 to win this year.
94:09Cause Dion's more focused on talking, I guess. Um, the, uh, so what do you think is going to happen in Cleveland?
94:15What do you think, how do you think it's going to play out this quarterback competition?
94:20You know, when you're projecting games played for Watson versus Sanders, you know, how are you thinking about this?
94:26I think it's impossible. It's really impossible. The Cleveland, we, we, we, we know that the Cleveland media will keep us informed of what's going on.
94:34The fact that the one problem is that the most cockamamie beat that there is, and they all have their own ideas that they inserted everything.
94:42There is a lot of conflicting reports from like the, the Akron beacon, the Cleveland planes dealer.
94:47Yeah. But you just, you don't ever know. Like, I mean, we're talking about the Mary Kay Cabotts and the Tony grossies of the world.
94:54It's like, it's, I mean, it's a Zach Jackson.
94:57It's, it's a, it's a, um, it's an eclectic crew and I just, right.
95:01Yeah. I think about it. Like I, my, my initial thought was that it felt like Deshaun Watson kind of had a
95:08little bit of a lead with it, but then more recently you're hearing that it's tightened up and it feels like it's
95:14a real battle between the two guys. I haven't had to go and project it just yet, but I, I think if
95:21you had to right now, it would just have to be a placeholder projection until we get more information.
95:27Right. I think the placeholder projection I would give would be maybe give one guy, one guy, eight games, one guy, nine
95:34games, probably Deshaun Watson to start the season. And then Shadur wants that thing blows to smithereens.
95:39It's eight and nine, man. It's just eight. And that's all you can do is just, just, just eight and nine.
95:45And I wish there was a, but the problem is that Sanders held the ball longer than any other quarterback in the league last year.
95:53And he had more interceptions than touchdowns. These are bad, bad stats, bad metrics, bad stats.
95:57Now Deshaun Watson has his own problems. You know, the, the league bottom yards per attempt and no air yards.
96:03He has no arm strength left. He has no lower body, fast twitch muscle fiber left.
96:08He can no longer escape. Are you with me and Cody, did you're more worried about the shoulder stuff in any of the leg or knee stuff?
96:16I think there, well, I mean, he already was lacking arm strength before.
96:20So it, we may, we may find ourselves in a situation where it's week two, week three, and everyone's come to Jesus
96:27and realized, Oh wait, Deshaun Watson can't even throw.
96:30Like he doesn't even have the, he doesn't have the requisite arm strength to be a starting quarterback and to manage a team.
96:37And that's not going to become apparent until as the summer starts to play out.
96:41And they might just be forced to go with Shadur for that reason.
96:45And just, you know, because they're trying to lose games anyway.
96:48This is Miami and Cleveland are two of the, the, the few teams that are openly tanking.
96:54So again, Shadur Sanders is a way to lose games.
96:57If he's going to throw all these interceptions, right?
96:59It's just, what do you want? Do you want the low a dot and tons of sacks or do you want less
97:06sacks, but more interceptions and a higher target depth?
97:09I mean, again, to me, you're tanking anyway, find a way, right?
97:12Fake injury, get this guy out of here, get Deshaun Watson out of here.
97:17I mean, there's never been a better time for a fake injury to befall a player than just to get Deshaun Watson out of there.
97:24Then you can finalize the depth chart. If Sanders on top, then Gabriel, and then they, they just drafted a quarterback as well.
97:31So then, then you get that. And then, then you can actually get some more reps for everybody on all the quarterbacks
97:38on the depth chart before you go into 20, 27 and just take a new one all over again.
97:43Exactly. So you know what you have, who is Taylor green?
97:47Like when you look at Taylor green, Taylor green, six, six, I can tell you exactly who Taylor green is.
97:53We know exactly like he is interesting. I mean, they, they drafted him in round six is a sixth round pick.
97:59He's unlikely to ever do anything, but he's big and strong and interesting at the very, I mean, he has the physical sort of the physical presence.
98:07He has the stature of a starting quarterback in the league.
98:11And, and for that reason in, in some deep super flex and two QB leagues, I actually have him stashed.
98:17Right. So, so, so you could have the next Logan Thomas.
98:20That's what he, yeah, that's probably what he is.
98:23Right. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. But I mean, again, I'm in these deep dynasty leagues where I have George Helani, right?
98:29It's, it's, it's not like it's not a big trade-off between him and Tyler Goodson.
98:33You see? Well, I would, I would say you could probably add Tyler Goodson to your safe to drop list.
98:39We were talking about for wide receivers earlier. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
98:43Have you seen the Atlanta depth chart? I don't care.
98:46I don't care. There's no, I mean, it doesn't matter.
98:49Okay. All right. Well, Tyler Goodson is the locked in RB three.
98:53He's going to make the active roster and he is a better receiver out of the backfield.
98:58He has more dynamism than Brian Robinson. Okay. So in deep dynasty leagues, super deep dynasty leagues, I actually have a bunch of Tyler Goodson.
99:05You really do? Oh yeah. Man, you're all right.
99:08I guess you're just kind of thinking about things and I just, but I'm in these leagues where there's like 40 roster spots.
99:15If you're in a dynasty league with 40 roster spots, then you have the luxury of picking up pretty much every RB three that exists.
99:23Yeah. Well, some, some luxury that is. Some luxury that is.
99:26Hey, stranger things have happened than Tyler Goodson having some fantasy relevant seasons this year.
99:30I mean, this is, this is precisely the type of player age 25, athletic and hanging around the league the last couple of years.
99:38He's only 25. Are you kidding me? Well, he's technically 25.5.
99:41Okay. Well, I guess, I guess he's a little younger than I was giving him credit for.
99:46Yeah. So he's actually, I think I would rather have Tyler Goodson than Keon Coleman.
99:51There's actually more upside in the event of an injury to Bijan, which we do not want to happen.
99:56There's more upside for Goodson. There's more contingent value there than there is with Keon Coleman, who is a definitive zero forever.
100:03And I just saw Cody trade for Keon Coleman.
100:06So I know that Cody and I disagree on that and you can bring that to his attention.
100:11You did mention the Makai Lemon, injury earlier. And we should circle back to this because this is interesting.
100:17This could potentially affect him, right? In terms of his ability to produce early in the season.
100:22I think this is, this is a footnote that is worth exploring.
100:26It's not something just to dismiss. And he has been sliding.
100:29I've noticed he has been sliding in startup drafts in particular.
100:32He's been going several rounds after Jordan Tyson. You've seen him going several, several rounds in startups, two to three rounds after Jordan Tyson.
100:40Yes. This injury, it affects people. It shouldn't. It's just a hamstring strain.
100:44Remember Odell Beckham Jr. started his career with a hamstring strain in the spring and summer.
100:48And they put up some pretty good fantasy seasons and some pretty good performances.
100:53So I think Makai Lemon is going to be just fine.
100:56But the idea that he's missing camp and missing the installation of these plays, it is a concern.
101:01No, of course it's a concern. I mean, you could tell like what they say, he's out there getting mental reps.
101:08I mean, that's what they always say. He's like, it's okay.
101:11He's out there getting mental reps. I mean, they got to be moving around.
101:15They got to see the way they're, what they're actually learning and what's going in between their ears and stuff like that,
101:22how it translates to the way their body actually moves, right?
101:25The actual locomotion of what's being asked of them.
101:28So it's very important. I mean, you're transitioning levels of football, right?
101:32So it's more important for a rookie than anybody else.
101:35With that said, it feels to me like almost out of all these rookies, just given the actual skillset that Makai Lemon has, I'm less worried.
101:43I'm less worried about him having to miss time right now than I would be about Jordan Tyson or Carnell Tate having
101:49to miss time right now, because I feel like they're a little, I feel like that their skillsets are a little bit
101:56more conducive to being more productive whenever they're on this, you know, really on the same page of their quarterbacks with, you
102:02know, timing, touch route, stuff like that. Whereas Makai Lemon just brings this juice to the table where he's, you know, he
102:09just, he's one of these guys that's just a small area separator that can just, you know, get it done in those
102:16kinds of ways and not necessarily have to have his quarterback throw him open.
102:20Not that Tate or Tyson have to have their quarterback throw them open, but you did see that, you know, with, with,
102:27with, um, with, uh, Sam Levitt and Jordan Tyson and with Julian San and Carnell Tate, so much of that stuff had
102:33to do with that connection that, that they had and their quarterback knowing right, right where to put it.
102:39Um, so I'm not as worried about it with Makai Lemon.
102:42I think it's fair that Jordan Tyson goes ahead of Makai Lemon as far as whether there should be a multi-round discount
102:49for the guy that I'm certainly taking right now, for sure.
102:52Drafting Makai Lemon is the right move. I've wanted him.
102:55I've been a pick away or two picks away from getting Makai Lemon in several drafts.
103:00It's heartbreaking. I keep thinking he's going to slip to me.
103:04I'm like, Oh my God, Makai Lemon's falling. Oh, not quite there.
103:07Not quite there, but week one, given that he's missed all this time, you got to be prepared for the starting lineup
103:14to be Devante Smith at Z, Dontavian Wicks at X and Marquise Brown at Y.
103:18That is going to be the starting lineup for the Eagles week one.
103:22Now week two could be Lemon taking over for Wicks or Lemon moving into the slot, taking over for Marquise Brown.
103:29I don't know exactly how it's going to shake out, but I, I sense, you know, basically Lemon not being used much
103:35in the first week or two before he starts to get integrated into the offense, which is exactly what happened with Odell Beckham Jr.
103:43in his rookie season. So you have, so you, you get to week one, how are we going to have them ranked?
103:49Because you'll have, uh, Philadelphia, which will have a 26 point implied team total in that first game.
103:55You'll have Tennessee for Carnell Tate, which will only have a 21.25 point against two total.
103:59So for Tennessee, that is versus, um, got to go different to that's versus the jets.
104:04Oh, what? Only a 21 point. Oh God. That's a, that's a bet.
104:08I'll take right there. Just bet on the Titans in week one.
104:12And then you get new Orleans is playing, playing Detroit.
104:15Oh boy. That one is new Orleans implied team total.
104:18And that one's only a 20.75 though. What you get Philadelphia playing at home versus Washington with a 27, 26 point implied team total.
104:25It's like by the first week of the season, we could be like, we could be saying that Makai Lemon's actually ranked higher as a week.
104:33You, sometimes you look and you say like, what am I going to do in week one?
104:38When you're making these decisions about your redraft teams, it's like in week one, I don't think it's too far out of
104:45the, but lemon might not play much in week one at all.
104:48He could barely play in week. He could be a game day inactive week one, or, or he could, or he could
104:55go off for nine receptions for one 32 and two it's very, either one are very possible.
105:00Either one are very possible. But I mean, they traded multiple picks to bring in wicks.
105:05They signed Marquise Brown promising him that he'd get slot snaps.
105:08So we'll see. And you know, Devante Smith's not coming off the field.
105:12Jordan Tyson against the lions feels like the play there.
105:15It's probably, it probably, it probably is. I mean, that is the play.
105:19I mean, the, the two bets that I love, I just love it from, from what I just heard, they were both
105:26well, New Orleans and Detroit, both playing domes. So the, the bets that I heard that I like are just, just straight
105:33up, take the Titans against the spread. But also I like the saints lions over.
105:37Yeah. Fair enough. Go, go. Yeah. That's what, that's what I'm, that's what I'm gleaning from that.
105:42Come, come, come for the, come for the, um, come for the Arizona Cardinals talk, stay for the, stay for the Disney
105:49tips and then get out of here on your, on the, on the, on the hot gambling tips for week one.
105:55Now that we're 82 days away. Well, we'll give them one more hot tip because we, we tease this at the beginning
106:02and it is the thumbnail of the show. And that is what's happening with this Arizona passing game, because I keep trying to get Michael Wilson.
106:10I keep getting sniped on Michael Wilson. I keep pushing it an extra round.
106:14I know I should be picking Michael Wilson at a particular slot based on ADP.
106:18And then I feel like, well, people don't like Michael Wilson because they feel like he hit all of his stats last
106:25year were super inflated by the high pass rate.
106:28And the fact that Marvin Harrison jr. Didn't play.
106:31So you bring Marvin Harrison jr. Back. You now have uncertainty at the quarterback position and they add a running back in
106:37the top five of the NFL draft. What does that tell you?
106:41Well, the pass rate's going to get turned down.
106:44There's going to be more handing the ball off.
106:46There's not going to be as efficient quarterback play with Kobe Brissett, not even participating.
106:51So where does Michael Wilson stack up in that scenario as the wide receiver three for that particular team?
106:57You know, he's at the age apex already. He's, you know, 26 and a half years old.
107:02So he's not like a 24 year old. He's not like Parker Washington.
107:06That's why I have Parker Washington ranked ahead of him.
107:09Parker Washington's in a similar situation actually, but a couple of years younger.
107:13So I've been wanting desperately wanting some more Michael Wilson because I do love him.
107:17I do love him. And I felt a little bit of that, that aura around him that I felt with Michael Pittman at a previous senior bowl.
107:25So I really want Michael Wilson. And then we hear the news, the news comes out.
107:30Oh, actually the Cardinals are implementing the Rams offensive scheme and lo and behold, they have Michael Wilson locked in as the Z playing the Puka Nakua role.
107:39Yeah. I mean, it's very interesting. It's like, we talked to this.
107:42Like, does that mean that does, does that mean that Carson Beck is the, is the, is in the Matthew Stafford role.
107:49It doesn't mean that these Matthew Stafford, right. Um, quarterback situation still unsettled, but it does.
107:54I mean, if you're talking about roles and if you're talking about MHJ and you're talking about Michael Wilson, I, it's not
108:00that Devante Adams is a fantasy guy that you don't want, or is a complete dud or anything like that.
108:06But if you're asking me the profile, that's been better for fantasy has been better for volume.
108:11It's been better just overall. It's been the Puka Nakua role.
108:15So we've talked about this on many shows and it was, I credit Lord Reeves, Rich Rebar for bringing this to my attention.
108:22Basically he laid out a, and drew a line in the sand and said, actually the NFL is not the NFL of 10 years ago, right?
108:30It's it, the Brandon Marshalls are largely disappeared. Like they've, they've gone extinct.
108:34Like there's, they're trying to keep Mike Evans, right.
108:36They're trying to make sure he survives, his species survives under any circumstances.
108:40Like there's, there's a, uh, uh, a, a, a, a cadre of biologists surrounding Mike Evans at all times, just to make sure they're studying him.
108:48He's wearing like one of those, he's wearing one of those, uh, anklets.
108:52Yeah. One of those anklet monitors that has a radio beacon and a satellite beacon.
108:57And, and, and, and they're always measuring him and seeing where he's at, seeing what he's eating.
109:02They're always examining his feces. They have to make sure that he, that he has proper migration corridors from different, different biosphere to different biosphere.
109:09Right. Right. Right. Because the, the, the, the invasive species is the new NFL Z receiver that it's, it's I'm on Ross St.
109:16Brown. I mean, they're taking over. Yeah. They're eating all the targets that Jamison Williams thought he was going to get coming into the league.
109:24Right. And that's what's happening. And if that happens this year, dude, if that happens, I'm telling you, man, if that happens
109:30this year with Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr., I mean, look out.
109:34I mean, do you, you, you, you, Alex, you will never.
109:38And I repeat never. If they both play 17 games and Michael Wilson outscores Marvin Harrison Jr.
109:43This year, you will never, ever wipe the smile off my face, Alex, you will never.
109:48And I repeat, never. If they both play 17 games and Michael Wilson outscores Marvin Harrison Jr.
109:53This year, you will never, ever wipe the smile off my face.
109:56Yeah. No, that was a, that was a, that was a, that was a, that was a, what was the, those like a, what do you call that?
110:05An unconscious mistake? A Freudian slip. Hantavirus. What? Hantavirus.
110:08What? Hantavirus. They don't keep snow on them. I am frothing.
110:11These have been around for a minute. Right. From the best ball cheat sheet.
110:15Where, where is the best ball cheat sheet? I have so many to rank.
110:19I have so many tabs open right now. So for best ball, do you like Christian Watson more than Jamison Williams?
110:26I do now. I think I do too. I like, it's hard to believe that a contract would, would, would make you do that.
110:33Kind of a weird spot, weird spot to be in.
110:36Was I giving you what guys that were too easy?
