Alec Pierce

PositiveRole0:13

Pierce is expected to grow into a much bigger role on the Colts offense and has been the best deep threat in the league for two years with strong play-making ability.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:41

Alec Pierce was acquired for $1 in a startup auction, demonstrating the value of buying late-round/low-cost players who can provide upside.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveProjection0:22

St. Brown is mentioned favorably in the context of top dynasty startup picks, indicating strong regard for his value.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:30

Amon-Ra St. Brown is a locked-in asset with predictable production: 140-160 targets, 100-120 catches, 1200-1500 yards, and 10-15 touchdowns annually, making him a 'book it' player that should not be traded away for Pickens, Wandale, and a 2028 first.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:33

St. Brown had the most inside-the-five targets of any receiver last season and is a go-to target in the red zone, providing stability and floor that far exceeds the volatility of alternatives like Pickens.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

PositiveUsage0:15

Jenty is expected to receive around 100 targets on the Raiders, representing the only significant target competition for Brock Bowers.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection0:08

Bowers is placed in 'Holy Grail territory' and compared to peak Travis Kelce, with expectation of 100+ catches and potential for 110 catches, 13-14 yards per catch, and 10 touchdowns.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection0:23

Williams is a strong believer conviction pick who could fall to mid-first round in dynasty startups (around picks 110-112), with hosts expressing real conviction about his potential.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:24

Caleb Williams has been mocked as late as picks 110-112 in dynasty startups, suggesting he may offer value if taken later in the first round rather than mid-first, though the speaker is a 'real Caleb believer' and would not trade him away for a tear-down offer.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:26

The Bears offense has shown impressive forward momentum with Caleb Williams, and the speaker expects the team to be 'must watch TV' with everything in place for continued development in the offseason and training camp.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:28

Caleb Williams makes electrifying plays that few other quarterbacks in the league can replicate, including a 50-yard fourth-down throw to the back of the end zone while running backwards against the Rams, demonstrating he is 'one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league' and the team is 'not watching the best version of this.'

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveBreakout0:01

Hosts express optimism about Carnell Tate's connection with newly acquired Cam Ward, noting the pairing showed promise at OTAs and early practice.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

NegativeRole0:48

Christian Kirk has been a disappointing depth piece in dynasty startups and trades over the last two years, with the speaker noting 'Christian Kirk has given us nothing' despite being drafted as a depth piece.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:48

Christian Kirk has historically struggled to stay healthy and on the field for long stretches, making him an unreliable option in the 49ers offense despite the potential for 'beautiful magic with Brock Purdy.'

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue0:41

Christian Watson was acquired for $1 in a startup auction last year and paid off significantly, serving as an example of finding value in late-round/low-cost picks like Keon Coleman this year.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection0:08

Loveland is ranked highly in tight end premium leagues and could easily finish not far behind Brock Bowers this year, providing good value when paired with Tyler Warren in a trade down from Bowers.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveRole0:37

The Bills recently added DJ Moore to their receiving corps, which has contributed to burying Keon Coleman's value and target share in the offense.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveRole0:45

The speaker is 'a Dalton Kincaid guy' on the Bills, suggesting he views the tight end as a key target in the offense despite the additions of DJ Moore and other receivers.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection0:24

May is referenced as being in a higher tier of conviction than Caleb Williams among dynasty believers, suggesting strong early-round demand.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeRole0:31

George Pickens is described as unstable and unpredictable—'he could show up anywhere on that motherfucker at any given time you don't know'—making him a risky alternative to the consistent production of Amon-Ra St. Brown despite his elite physical gifts.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:35

If George Pickens ever received 160 targets and was 'clocked in for them,' he could potentially outscore Amon-Ra St. Brown, but his downside risk is significantly higher than St. Brown's floor.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveValue0:23

Daniels fell into the second round of a dynasty startup (pick 26), representing significant value that warranted trading up to secure him alongside Jeremiah Love.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue0:23

Love was targeted in a dynasty startup where the host traded up to secure him in the second round alongside Jaden Daniels.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveRole0:45

Josh Allen is the quarterback for the Bills, where Keon Coleman plays and has draft capital to remain a featured receiver despite recent struggles.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveValue0:36

Keon Coleman has fallen dramatically in ADP from a 10th-round pick last year to around pick 270 (wide receiver 112) this year, making him an extreme value buy-the-dip candidate for dynasty startups at 18th-20th round prices.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:36

Keon Coleman demonstrated accountability and maturity in a recent interview, stating he was benched for three games last year which was 'unacceptable,' and showed genuine commitment to improvement, suggesting potential for a bounce-back if he matures and stops the 'goofy shit.'

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:37

Keon Coleman is a 6'3" stud athlete with 'magnificent God given talent' and could easily be a 10-touchdown guy if he rebounds, though the addition of DJ Moore has buried his value this offseason.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper0:46

At wide receiver 112 in expert rankings and 307 in crowdsourced rankings, Keon Coleman is a steal on the clearance rack; his value has fallen so far that it can only rebound if he matures and becomes a primary target in the Bills offense.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveValue0:41

Michael Mayer was acquired for $1 in a startup auction, exemplifying the strategy of finding value in late-round/low-cost picks.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveRole0:48

Mike Evans has historically struggled to stay on the field and play football for long stretches, making him an unreliable target alongside Ricky Pierce All in the 49ers offense.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveProjection0:17

McBride's recent breakout season is cited as a comparable outcome that could easily happen with Brock Bowers this year, with expectation of triple-digit catches.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveUsage0:09

Warren had significant early-season usage in the first 15 scripted plays but tailed off as games progressed, a pattern that should be monitored and potentially corrected.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:10

Warren is viewed as a big piece of the Colts offense and could be the target leader for the team in 2026, potentially serving as the focal point similar to his role at Penn State.

0:44Hey, hey, hey. You know how I get down.
0:47And you know how we get down with EFF Dynasty.
0:51It's me, Shev. Unfortunately, you don't get the what is good.
0:55I'm not gonna do that. Casey's not here. So, that's me, Big Co.
0:59How we doing? Doing well, sir. Happy to be here.
1:03Appreciate you letting me grace your presence tonight. Hey, listen.
1:07If I had both of your hands, I would cut mine off.
1:11Nice. Well played, sir. Well played. So, we're here tonight.
1:15I've got, we're gonna go over some, go over some Dynasty trades, some stuff that you guys put in the Discord.
1:22Appreciate you, Henry Muto. What is good? Sorry we're late, by the way.
1:27We have some, like I said, technical difficulties. Casey's.
1:30Casey had some, you know, his computer went full Smurf, blue screen.
1:35He's trying to figure it out. Thoughts and prayers.
1:38Thoughts and prayers. All that. But he's probably not gonna be with us tonight.
1:43So, it's gonna be me and Big Co. And you're gonna get an hour and a half of the most logical, reasonable,
1:51Carnell Tate discussion that you could do. Yeah. That's right.
1:55That's right. In one of our Dynasty Leagues, Shev snuck in a nice little Cam Ward trade this week.
2:02And I was like, stock up Cam Ward, stock up Carnell Tate.
2:06Right away, connection was there. OTAs. One little practice.
2:09Carnell Tate. It's gonna be a good time. I can't wait to see it, bro.
2:15I've got microphone issues over here. If you don't, I'm just vice gripping this thing, trying to make it work.
2:22Fighting for dear life. Look, what's going on in Charleston that y'all, y'all's tech, y'all's, see, Skynet has taken over in Charleston.
2:30That's what's going on here. Y'all boys, y'all boys are having all kinds of technical difficulties.
2:36Meanwhile, you know, I got people using wagon wheels to get where they're going.
2:41So, no, but in all seriousness, we're gonna go over some, we're gonna go over some Dynasty trades, some stuff that you guys put in the Discord.
2:51And try to just look at your team and provide context that we talk about because that's the biggest difference between us and just about everybody else.
3:01You want to make sure that you are consistently doing things that align with the direction of where you're trying to take your team.
3:09Are you a rebuilder? Doesn't make sense to trade for Stefan Diggs.
3:14Like, but people, I mean, that's a real thing.
3:17Like, if you're new to Dynasty, you don't really understand, like, hey, this guy, this player doesn't fit what I'm trying to do.
3:25I mean, Cole, you, I've learned so much from you as far as just how to move around the board and, like,
3:33capturing different values at different points in time. So, like, I'll let you, I'll cede the floor to you to talk some
3:41theory before I pull up this trade from Hennethon or his roster, rather.
3:46Okay. You work on his roster, pull it up.
3:49Yeah, we could just, I think we do a really good job on this show.
3:55I've talked to you and Casey a ton about remembering that the Dynasty, you know, let's talk about the pond, the fish in the pond, right?
4:04The Dynasty niche, the Dynasty community is growing every day, every season, right?
4:09Fantasy football has been around a long time. And the amount of water cooler talk for fantasy football is outrageous.
4:16And that little tiny chirp in the background of Dynasty is growing and getting louder and louder and louder.
4:23So, we've tried to do really well. I think that, I think we've struck a really good balance of, hey, there's new
4:31people that don't really know how to do this yet, but you can't, they don't know that.
4:37Most of them, you know, hey, when you get one season of Dynasty and you're ready to roll, I get it.
4:45I've been there too. That was 15 years ago, but I get it.
4:50So, we try to go real high level sometimes and just, you know, get knee deep in that thing.
4:57And then we try to pump the brakes for a second and then back up and zoom out and say, all right,
5:05well, if you're brand new to this or you just got a couple seasons in, this is why this might make sense
5:13to, you know, might not make sense right in a second, but it will when you get a little bit more, you
5:21know, get more seasons under your belt. And, man, Dynasty is so much fun, dude.
5:26It just gives you something to think about. You can't sleep late at night.
5:31You're laying in the bed. You're like, should I trade that second round pick?
5:36Like, you know, should I just go ahead and move some chips at the table?
5:42I got two, I got Jonathan Taylor and I got Josh Jacobs, which was a lot more fun to have on my Dynasty team two days ago.
5:52So, but that's all I got and I'm studded out.
5:55So, should I go trade for DeAndre Swift and put him on my bench before the season starts?
6:02You know, just, man, all kind of stuff. You're driving down the road, get stuck in a red light.
6:09Now you're talking, you're thinking to yourself, talking out loud, just you and the steering wheel.
6:15Do I really like Caleb Williams as much as pretty much every other quarterback in the league?
6:21Not Dean, Josh Allen, you know? Yeah. So, it's Dynasty is where it's at, bro.
6:26And you got, you got the draft picks, everything.
6:29Draft picks is, it's the currency, you know? It's a $100 bill.
6:34You know, if you're going out on town, you got a $100 bill, you feel like you can do some damage.
6:41Not anymore. Not anymore. It's $80 for a bag of groceries now.
6:46But back in the day, $100 bill used to do some damage.
6:50Draft picks, draft picks in Dynasty do damage because they're just straight up liquid.
6:55You can try, you can just move them anytime.
6:59It just makes everything a little bit better. You move around, you're able to move around the board.
7:05Like, I'm trying to, Hennethon, if you're in the chat, I'm about to pull yours up.
7:11In Curse24, my apologies. I can't get the sleeper thing to pull your league ID.
7:16So, we're going to go straight to, we're going to go straight to Hennethon here.
7:22And we're going to look at his Death by Dynasty league.
7:26And his question was, do I down tier off of Bowers and pick, and pick for Loveland and Warren?
7:33And we can pull up the league settings here.
7:36We pull up the league settings here. Let's see.
7:39Go ahead, Biko. Go down from Bowers and get Loveland and Warren?
7:44That's what he's asking. He says, down tier off of Bowers and pick for Loveland and Warren.
7:50Does Bowers, does Bowers and pick, does that and pick, does that mean that Bowers and a draft pick?
7:57Yes. Is that what just... Okay, obviously I need to know what the draft pick is.
8:03I'm leaning towards Loveland and Warren over Bowers. Obviously, Bowers, if you've been listening to this show, I put Bowers in the Holy Grail territory.
8:12Never wavered. Got drafted by the Raiders. Never wavered.
8:15Won't waver. He's in the Holy Grail territory. But Colson Loveland and Tyler Warren combined, we put our powers combined, a little Captain Planet action.
8:24And, you know, if you've got an old school bench, an old school league where you only start two running backs, two
8:32wide receivers, a tight end, and maybe a flex, and it's just super tight, maybe Bowers is your guy.
8:39But most of the time nowadays, we've got multiple flexes and all that kind of stuff.
8:45So, the more roster spots, starting roster spots every week that you've got to have, the more important it is to have,
8:53you know, more than just two studs, right? Yeah.
8:56So, the... I mean, you know, like, you can't just be top heavy for the first two or three guys.
9:03You've got to be able to get... If you can't have a huge hole in your starting lineup, if you, you know,
9:11if you've got multiple starting lineup, start 10, start 11, start 12 these days, we're getting crazy with it.
9:18And Bowers is a monster, but I could definitely trade Bowers and get Colson Loveland and Tyler Warren.
9:25I think we talked about it a little bit last week, Shev.
9:29Like, Tyler Warren started out, and it was like he was in that first 15 plays, that scripted coach's 15 plays.
9:37Right. Tyler Warren... I don't think there was a bigger, you know, difference between...
9:42I don't think there was another play in her league that had more, like, first quarter action and then tailed off as
9:50the game went on than Tyler Warren. Yeah. And I think that that should be ironed out and looked at more.
9:58And the Colts, you know, I think Tyler Warren is obviously a big piece of what they got going on.
10:05And I said it last week, I'm tasting... I'm not...
10:09We got at the very end of the show last night, last week, it was Colson Loveland over...
10:15The running back for the Dolphins, where we got to last week.
10:20H-H-H-H-H-H. You know, so right now, that's where I was.
10:23And that's... I mean, obviously, that's tight end premium.
10:26Straight up, no premium. I gotta... I'll go H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H.
10:30But in tight end premium, I have Colson Loveland way up there.
10:34Warren started out so hot last year. Things got a little crazy on his value.
10:40but it's settled in. He still hasn't fallen very far.
10:43If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That sounds right until you actually do the math.
10:49For most businesses, shipping is that thing. What is it actually costing you?
10:54Because if nobody's questioning it, it's probably costing you way more than it should.
10:59And fortunately, ShipStation makes switching easy and savings are immediate.
11:02Because most businesses are overpaying on shipping without realizing it, ShipStation automatically compares rates across UPS, USPS, and FedEx on every order with savings up to 90%.
11:12That's why over a million businesses have leveled up their shipping game with ShipStation while cutting cost up to 30%.
11:20Everything from order management to inventory and returns is centralized in one platform.
11:24It is built to handle your entire shipping workflow so your team can focus on growth.

11:45Our yoga instructor challenged us to find inner peace.
11:48I found it faster than anyone. After four seconds, I stood up and screamed, I found Nirvana!
11:55I win! They asked me to leave. I guess they don't respect winning.
11:59Bet365 does though. New customers get $365 in bonus bets just for betting $10.
12:04Huh, namaste losers. Bet365. Winning is everything. Gambling problem?
12:08Call 1-800-GAMBLER. 21 plus only. Must be physically located in Virginia.
12:12TNCs apply. In-app only. So anyway, that was a long way to say I'm not mad at you for trading Brock Bowers,
12:20turning Brock Bowers into Colston, Loveland, and Tyler Warren.
12:23I mean, Loveland could easily end up this year not too far behind Brock Bowers.
12:28Right. But I think from a utility standpoint, this is start 10.
12:33So, you know, Superflex, Titan Premium, start 10. Three wide receiver, two flex.
12:37Yeah. Three wide receivers, two flexes, one Superflex. So, moving, you know, this trade basically gives you, you get an extra high-end flex.
12:46Right? Instead of, you know, just being, just having Brock Bowers as the sole, like, the sole driving force.
12:53Now, you get to diversify, you get to down tier a little bit.
12:57And like Big Coe said, it's not as much of a, there's not as much of a, a hit if Colson Loveland
13:05comes out and he just repeats what he was doing the back half of the year.
13:11And then, if we can just time it up right and you get what Tyler Warren was doing the first half of the year.
13:20Now you're talking. Now you got a monster. Mm-hmm.
13:23Now you really got a monster. I want to ask you a question though.
13:28Do you think, do you think that Tyler Warren is the, is the target leader for the Colts in 2026?
13:36Oh man, that's a fantastic question. Um, I, I mean, I would like to say yes.
13:42Um, and, and, and I say that because obviously Alec Pierce is going to grow into a much bigger role and Josh
13:50Downs, uh, you know, could be a fantastic player.
13:53I like Josh. I'm a, I'm a big Josh Downs guy, but I think the easy button for that offense is to
14:01let Tyler Warren lead it in targets because Alec Pierce is going to be playing the big boy.
14:07He's been the best, he's been the best threat, best deep threat in the league for two years.
14:14Yep. And, last year he made a handful of nasty plays that were not just bombs, right?
14:20It was getting open. It was catching, catching traffic.
14:23Uh, his Madden catching traffic rating had to be going up on a weekly basis.
14:29Right. Um, he was catching the ball away from his body, moving the opposite way, running across the middle and it was
14:37an outside, you know, it was an off target pass and he reached back, you know, just, I thought he did.
14:44I thought he was a breakout season without like massive quantity of targets.
14:49That'd be it. So I think we talked last week about the compliment of talent on that team and with John, John,
14:57and Taylor, uh, his carry, you know, amount load is going to represent a portion of the targets.
15:04You know what I mean? Like they go and ride that man and they should and they probably going to ride him
15:12to more victories and obviously Daniel Jones has to come back and be healthy for those, for the W's to add up on the scoreboard.
15:21But I think Tyler Warren should be so, but let me go back to Brock Bowers for just a quick second before
15:29you do what you got to do. I, it wouldn't shock me at all if Brock Bowers scored as many points week
15:37one as the, both of those two guys put together.
15:41There's chatterbox about Brock Bowers being, you know, the JSN role, right?
15:45Just the, just the target him on every throw roll and I, I wouldn't blame him to do it.
15:52You know, it almost feels irresponsible not to. Right.
15:55Right. If we're being, if we're being totally honest, there's no target competition outside of Ashton Jenty getting a hundred targets.
16:03And I feel like that's, I feel like that's a reasonable outcome.
16:07Yep. And I, there's a lot more mouths to feed in Indy to tie this in with Tyler Warren.
16:14But I still think that he's, I think that he's the type of talent he could do what he did at Penn
16:22State where he was just basically the focal point of the offense of poor man's Brock Bowers.
16:28Brock Bowers is a wide receiver. I mean, you know, they already called him a football robot.
16:34I expect him to do some really special things this year.
16:38But, and I think Tyler, Tyler Warren can be an approximation to that.
16:43Colson Loveland could be an approximation of, Colston Loveland could be an approximation of that.
16:49I mean, he's awesome. Right? So, getting both, going back and tying all of this together, getting Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland,
16:57but tearing off of Brock Bowers, who I genuinely believe, I don't think you'll push back on this.
17:03He could give you a one of those, he could give you a Travis Kelsey, peak Travis Kelsey season where he gets
17:11110 catches and 13, 14 yards and 10 touchdowns.
17:14I think we're all expecting that to happen. The thing that just happened with Trey McBride could very easily happen with, could
17:22very easily happen with Brock Bowers this year. I expect it to, yes.
17:27I mean, I don't know if I expect 140 catches, but I expect triple-digit catches.
17:33In fact, I'd be let down if we didn't get it.
17:37I'm going to put you in the hot seat real quick and then we'll answer.
17:42I'll start bringing up some questions that we can talk through, talk through some of that in the chat and then we'll
17:50jump back and forth, pull up somebody else's roster as we get through.
17:55I have to look at it on my phone because I've got a lot going on.
18:01Anyway, I know you have a lot going on.
18:04Yeah, hit me with it. So, let's just, all right, here it is, super flex, tight end premium, 0.5, that's our standard
18:12setting for those of you who haven't been to the ffdynasty.com, right?
18:16Like, here we go. Right? The man, the man, we're going to swipe on Brock Bowers.
18:22So, Brock Bowers or Jameer Gibbs. I'm good either way.
18:26That's how much I like Brock Bowers. I'm down with either one of those guys.
18:31Coin flip, you can swipe either way. And that's saying, Jameer Gibbs was, ridiculous last year.
18:37Brock Bowers was hurt and we didn't get, but that's, that's, I'm not letting recency bias of how a make Gibbs was
18:45scoring me 40 points a week, bro. I did like my teams would Gibbs were just soaring, but in tight end premium,
18:53when Brock Bowers was healthy, he was doing the same thing.
18:57So, I wouldn't give, I wouldn't give anything to go the other way, right?
19:02Like, you can't, I wouldn't trade my Brock Bowers, you know, there's no situation here where, one for one, tie.
19:09Either way, I'm good. I'm fine. Most people are going to take Gibbs and I don't have a problem with that, but
19:17I'm just saying that's how much I like Brock, like Brock Bowers.
19:22It's a tie. I, I mean, I can't disagree with you for this exercise here.
19:27We're going to go, I'm going to go Gibbs just, just because.
19:32That's fine. And most people would. And that's like, if I'm on the clock in the startup and I'm at one five
19:40or whatever and Jameer Gibbs is on the, on the board, a couple quarterbacks and Bijon are gone and everybody's looking at
19:48Jameer Gibbs and I'm like, I really want Brock Bowers anyway.
19:52So I trade, I get a second round pick to move back one pick and they take Gibbs and I take Brock Bowers and everybody's happy.
20:01Hey man, that's, that's your, it's if they're both healthy and they're both playing, it's just going to be who had the bigger week to feel better.
20:11Who gets to feel better about the trade? That's not one of those.
20:16That's not one of those scenarios where you end up saying, Hey, I, you know, I got the plus.
20:23So I won. There's no way that you can get a plus there and we'll look at, we'll explore some more trades.
20:31Green are yelling at their, you know, headphones right now being like Big Co is crazy.
20:36Did they not see the Gibbs playing it at home in Detroit on the fast track like breaking off 50 yard runs all the time?
20:46Yes, I get it. I do. But when you get the 1.5 tight end, you know, when you get an extra half
20:54a point or more, obviously more, the more the better, you know, a two point tight end, I said it last year,
21:02a two point tight end premium Brock Bowers was my 1-1.
21:06I said it last year, and Trey McBride was my 1-2.
21:10So, I stand by that. You get 50% like if Brock Spowers catches 110 balls this year, that's like 160 catches, you know?
21:18So, obviously, you know, Gibbs could catch 80. So, the answer is probably Gibbs, but when you catch that, you know, when
21:26you catch that Travis Kelsey guy, if you get a chance at Travis Kelsey, you take him.
21:32Yeah. All right. This is going to be some direction you're going here.
21:37I'm taking Brock Bowers and the reason it's that much easier for me right now against JSN is just because there's a
21:45lot of good receivers that I like. Is there a lot of JSNs?
21:50No. Is there a lot of guys that get 160 targets like you laid out so eloquently last week?
21:57No. But there are wide receiver points to be had.
22:00The reason it was tougher against Gibbs is because there's tough, you know, it's B.
22:06John and Gibbs and we wanted to be J.
22:09D. And it might be Price and, you know, it is what are you doing?
22:14Because Price like Jadarian Price? No, no, my bad.
22:18My bad. Me and Jadarian Price don't get down like that.
22:22Okay. You try to slip a pinky in there, boy.
22:25I don't know what was going on. I go full thumb if I'm going.
22:30But, okay, so this one will be Brock Bowers.
22:34It's Bowers and I love St. Brown. Yeah. It's Bowers.
22:37Yeah. You're got to be in the top. Yeah.
22:41Oh, it's Caleb Williams. And Caleb Williams just popped up on the screen for the guys that aren't watching the video.
22:48If you're on the podcast, he's hitting the swipes on the FF dynasty website and it became Brock Bowers versus Caleb Williams.
22:56And so here's the thing. You talk about high end dynasty chit chat.
23:01Yeah. Okay. So I'm sitting there at one five, one six in my dynasty startup.
23:06And if I'm feeling frisky, I might have to trade up and get two picks in a row.
23:13And I might have to bang them. I might have to get Brock Bowers and Caleb Williams back to back.
23:20I might have to give up having a couple picks.
23:24I've told I'll talk it. I'll talk every week about the value of trading back.
23:29But sometimes you want to have fun. And sometimes you can't live without Caleb Williams and Brock Bowers at the same time.
23:37You got to figure it out, man. I was in the startup.
23:42I was going to start up in the second round and I was getting nervous about.
23:48So we had rookie placeholder picks. I was getting nervous about somebody taking the one one, which obviously totally different tier.
23:55So I traded back. I had the two seven.
23:58I traded into the two six gave up my third and fourth to make sure that I could get Jeremiah Love and Jaden Daniels.
24:07Jaden Daniels had fallen into the second round. That's a fall.
24:11Yeah. Obviously the way to play it is, you know, if you're in a dynasty startup league with me this year, Caleb
24:19Williams isn't going to get too far down the board.
24:23And there's probably a couple people to feel that way.
24:27But I have seen we've been in mocks and we've mocked it up and Caleb Williams went to 110, 112.
24:34You know, you probably are better off paying for a little bit later first round pick instead of, you know, coming up
24:42and get but if somebody takes Caleb Williams in the middle of the first round, they're going to have my conviction about
24:50it and you're drafted him is going to be convicted about it.
24:54You know, yeah, he's he's he's not quite in the Drake May tier of truther but there's some real Caleb believers me being one of them.
25:04Oh, I'm there. And I know you are too.
25:07All right. So like when there's there's two of us there's a million of us but there's not as many like we're
25:15not he can't he's not where Drake May is yet.
25:19Right. He's not quite there yet but value wise you're only getting a small piece that you could add on you know
25:27that you'd be willing to let the draft play out and have to come back on an individual trade and get your
25:35you know have your quarterback and add a lot to it to get Caleb Williams you know if you took take Brock
25:43Bowers middle of the first and you gamble and then you don't get him and you might have I think I go
25:51I think I go Brock Bowers but very easily by October we could be talking about Caleb Williams I said it on
25:59one of the shows I wanted if you wanted my if you were trying to tear down from Drake and come after
26:07my Caleb Williams I'd be like sorry that ain't a tear down for me bro I ain't giving you nothing we're heads
26:15up we're even I'm not giving you nothing in fact I'll just hang on then every morning it combines these factors into
26:23an easy to understand score from 1 to 100 so you'll know how to take the quality of your sleep from okay
26:31to very high know your no do overs no second chances no more mr nice guy this is winner take all the
26:39NBA finals continue on ABC and ESPN app the forward momentum obviously the Patriots made it to the Super Bowl but they
26:47probably they really shouldn't have beat the Broncos but I don't want to digress too much because that's what I do the
26:55forward momentum of the Bears offense right the inertia of that Bears offense last season was impressive to say the least okay
27:03and so where I assume did they pick up they had to Ben Johnson had to tear it all down this is
27:11you know he had to tear it all down last year goes over leaves the Lions as the best quarterback coordinator in
27:19the league handpicked where he wanted to go went to Chicago to work with Caleb did they draft amazingly Colson Loveland Luther
27:27Burden yada yada yada tear it all down and make it work for Caleb Williams first and foremost and it worked and
27:35he did and they they were on as such a forward play I mean just like I said the momentum of that
27:43offense towards the end of the year was wild and I can't wait to see him start back up week one everything
27:51they get to do everything to do this year in the OTAs and the offseason and and the training camp everything they
27:59get and he he said she said should have would have could have like the bears like are must watch TV bro
28:07I was in a bagel shop two days ago with my two two boys and this dude came in wearing a bears
28:15shirt he was younger cat and I sat there and my boys were eating their bagels and I kept looking I was
28:23like I gotta ask that dude if he's a fan or bit taken back couldn't believe that I'm talking to him about
28:31his bears shirt and just he was like dude I'm so excited and I was like you got Colson you got top
28:39down you the thing with the bears and I'm gonna grab I'm gonna pivot off this in a second but the thing
28:47with the bears is you've got everything in place and if you watch them play at all Caleb Williams just makes it
28:55like you you say oh wow I don't know if there's five other players or three other players or hell one other
29:03player that could do what he just did in the manner in which he just did it you know the fourth down
29:11throw the fourth down throw against the Packers you know the the long touchdown the fourth down throw against the Rams where
29:19he finds he throws it like 50 yards to the back of the end zone oh where he's running backwards for what
29:27forever oh yeah yes that was correct like the he just does something that's completely electrifying that just makes and takes your
29:35breath away it was like man we get to we're not watching the best version of this it can be completely different
29:43so coming that's what that's we all we all see or you just hate Caleb Williams so much that you can't accept
29:51that he's going to be he's one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league we like and we're just scratching the
29:59surface but to pivot off this and go to a trade we got a trade it's your Lions we're going to tear off of Amon Amon Ross St.
30:09Brown here for Pickens Wandale and 28 first I'm not doing that I'm not trading Amon St.
30:15Brown for Pickens Wandale and a 28 first I'm not doing it got 140 targets and caught anywhere close to his hands
30:23anything catchable he caught it two years ago last year he dropped a couple balls and so to the ball everybody on
30:31the team is like that doesn't happen nobody is upset nobody he dropped a and you can fix it and forget it you put St.
30:40Brown in your lineup and you don't trade him if you trade him it's got to be a massive trade you tear up from St.
30:49Brown you do not I was out here shooting my shot for Pickens early and often early and often I was like
30:57dude Pickens is a stud he's this he's that and I said you know if you as far as physical God given
31:05gifts he's a top five wide receiver in the league it's physical gifts body physical gifts that's it that's all I was
31:13talking the tide turned last year and as everybody else started getting on the Pickens bandwagon I'm like I don't want I
31:21got pickens on all my teams because he got so cheap Jeff I just kept picking him up picking him up and
31:29and and then I'm like I don't know if I I know there's a 28 first round a 20 28 first round picking that when it's St.
31:39Brown Pickens Wanda Robinson in a 28 first to me that trade is not even when that money adds up and I
31:47hope nothing happens and I hope he's fine but I did live through the Antonio Brown in my off my dynasty teams
31:55and Antonio Brown could anybody who has followed me for any length of time or you just search my profile on Twitter
32:03and just type George Pickens in on my profile on Twitter X and you'll find some really aggressive things that I've said
32:11about his talent I do I mean I I've been there with you the entire time like hey man this is not
32:19normal there are not a bunch of receivers that can do what he can do on the flip side of this though
32:27now that this is now that we've actually gotten a you know a season that is in alignment the young people right
32:35I'm in my 40s right I think you're close to 40 or you're in your 40s thank you thank you I'm about
32:43to be 43 so what you and then like you're gonna you're gonna have to produce results with people that's children with
32:51George Pickens in this scenario it's championships or returning value being a valuable stable asset on your team I love George Pickens
32:59stable stable stable that's the word it's the hot crazy matrix all over again like George Pickens could show up anywhere on
33:07that motherfucker at any given time you don't know so with I'm on Ross St.
33:13Brown I know what he's going to be on a year in year out basis big coaches laid it out he's gonna
33:21be 140 to 160 targets 100 to 120 catches like 1200 to 1500 yards and 10 to 15 touchdowns and I can
33:29book it even if it's 8 to 12 touchdowns is fine but my man is getting you know yeah he just had
33:37a season where he was he had the most inside like I believe like inside the five targets of any they go
33:45to them they go to them it's everything that you would want in a we off the board, our expert rankings have it at 44.
33:54Crowdsourced, he's, I want to say, basically he's like wide receiver 10.
33:58Okay, coming off the board. I'll get the exact number here in a second.
34:03I'll pull that up. But you're just adding way too much volatility, not enough stability to your team, and that value can tank.
34:12And there's just no reason to do that for Romano-Saint Brown, to close the loop on all that.
34:18Yep. While you're pulling up the next question, I've been knee-deep in the stock market for like six months.
34:25Okay. And I've been listening to all of stock market podcasts.
34:29And just a quick one-liner that I heard the other day, it's just the basic math of the stock market.
34:37It's just the value of a stock is driven by expectations.
34:41And the value of St. Brown is driven by his expectations.
34:45And we expect this and we pretty much, you can bank on it.
34:49And the value of Pickens is driven by the same set of expectations.
34:54They're not the same expectation. It's you expecting the volatility.
34:58And therefore, when you expect the volatility, you know you have your upside and your base case are just different than, you know.
35:06His upside, yes. I don't, I mean, he could get, if he ever got 160 targets and he was clocked in for
35:14them, wow, he's probably going to outscore St. Brown.
35:17But the downside is so much lower than anything St.
35:21Brown's going to give us if he's healthy. And St.
35:25Brown's never not been healthy. The only reason I said that is because it's the NFL and everybody gets hurt.
35:32Exactly. If St. Brown is not hurt, his downside is not even, it's nowhere close, you know.
35:38His floor is so much higher than what could happen with Pickens.
35:42So anyway, all right, next question. Uh, well, I'll take one out of the chat here.
35:48All right. Let's see here. There was one I wanted to get to.
35:53Oh, this is easy. I'll let you handle this one.
35:57Thoughts on Keon Coleman from James Stark 603. Yeah.
36:00All right. I love this. Great. Because I just said I've been knee deep in the stock market.
36:06And for the retail traders, which would be me and you, if we were just jumping in with a little bit of
36:14money into each rate or whatever, uh, it's called, you know, it's called by the dip.
36:20Right. And I bought the dip on Keon Coleman last year because he was a 10th rounder.
36:26And this year, she had, we'd, I'd have to pull up a, I could pull up a mock draft, but I'm pretty
36:34sure it's like 16th, which means it didn't work out last year.
36:39And I saw a clip of an interview with him the other day.
36:44And, you know, of course the team is probably just some team reporters and just something on the side of a practice field.
36:52You know, how do you feel about last year?
36:55How do you feel about your progress moving forward?
36:59Right. What do you think about this and that?
37:02And this young fella look right dead in that person's face and said, Oh, last year I was asked.
37:09And I got, you know, benched for three games.
37:12That's, you know, that's unacceptable. Yada, yada, yada. You know, I could do this and I need to do that.
37:19And I, I, he, you know what he said, Chev?
37:23I don't know if you saw it. He said, I got a touchdown in the last game.
37:29And he said, but that don't matter. Cause we lost.
37:33And I'm going, that's my guy. Keon Coleman. Let's go, you know?
37:37And is he going to be a superstar in the league?
37:41Maybe not. He still could be. He's got all the talent in the world.
37:46So he could easily bounce back. I know they just got, um, a new wide receiver over there from, uh, they just got DJ more.
37:55So, so I know they just got DJ more, but Keon Coleman is super young and he's, a stud athlete and the man, six, three to 15.
38:05And every time he makes a play, it is, I'm not going to say it's, it's not like he, he's not on the level of pickings, right?
38:15He's not, but we just said, there's not five guys that play wide receiver at our own level of pickings, physically talented, right?
38:23It's for God given gifts. Keon Coleman's got some God given gifts.
38:28And I'm sure every single person is listening to this.
38:31It's like, well, you're not doing the field without it.
38:35I get it for sure. But there's levels to this.
38:39And Keon Coleman has at a certain level, some magnificent God given talent.
38:43And if, are you pulling up his ADP right now?
38:47I could pull it. I could find him in this mock drafted.
38:51We just now did. This is, this is going to be low.
38:56Rankings. Three Oh seven wide receiver. One 12. Big co I'm looking for key.
39:01That's how far, that's how far. It's bad. Yeah.
39:04Yeah. Okay. So he might not be even drafted in this one that I'm looking at right here.
39:11I'm pretty sure. I'm almost certain that he's not here.
39:14Let me, let me. There he is. He's the, he's so far down there.
39:19He's at, he's ADP two 70. So, and he's still, there's 20 wide receivers ahead of him.
39:26And then this, this, this, uh, I'm so glad you, you asked me this, that you brought that question up.
39:33I'm so glad that guy got posted. Can you put that back up?
39:38And whoever posted that for us, we went 16, we went 16 rounds.
39:42Shev, we went 16 rounds in this mock and he's not even close to being off the board here.
39:49Keon Coleman is so cheap. Obviously they may be the addition of DJ Moore just buried him.
39:55And what happened last year. Bro, this guy could easily.
39:59He's a 10 touchdown kind of guy. Yeah. It could be a nothing burger.
40:04Like I, you know, like the, the, the, the startup that I did last year where I took him into 10th round.
40:12That doesn't feel great right now, but I sure do like seeing his name on my bench.
40:18And because he's on my team, I'll make up for it in other areas.
40:23And this year that this man is about to be an 18th, 20th round pick and, and dynasty startups.
40:30I will have Keon Coleman on every single new team.
40:34And because in a, in an auction league is going to be a dollar, $2 max.
40:40Because at the end of the draft, when everybody's out of money, Keon Coleman may fetch $2.
40:46And then in a regular, you know, pick them league in a snake draft, he's going to be a 20th round, 18, 19, 20th round pick.
40:55He's going to be on every startup team because his cost is zero.
41:00And this time last year, I got every, I got Christian Watson for a dollar and two startup auctions.
41:07And that paid off, you know, and I got Alec Pierce for a dollar.
41:12And I got my, yeah. You got Alec Pierce for, I cannot believe I was out of money.
41:19Oh, you were out of money early brah. You, you, you emptied the clip.
41:24You emptied the clip. I got Alec Pierce for a dollar.
41:28I got Christian Watson for a dollar. I got Michael Mayer for a dollar.
41:33Um, you know, yeah, this, the beautiful thing about Keon Coleman is that if it rebounds, it rebounds to a spot where
41:41he's, he's a, a strong wide receiver too. If he becomes the primary target somehow in this office, right?
41:48If he's grown up, if he's taking a step, right.
41:52That won't be week one. That won't be one.
41:55That's not going to be. Ironically enough. It was week one last year where we were all like, we are so bad.
42:03Yeah. Right. And then it just, it just went, but there's some growth and some maturity that he was speaking with.
42:10Like you alluded to that really make me think if the lights come on and he's done with all that goofy shit,
42:18talking about his, his coat and eating cookies and stuff.
42:22And he's ready to like really dig in and be the type of receiver that he needs to be for that team.
42:30Then that value explodes. See? So, all right, that's perfect.
42:34I'm glad you said it like that. The goofy shit, because for me, some of that playfulness, you know, let me just,
42:42I'm not a 20 year old kid anymore. I got gray hair.
42:46I just told you about to turn 43 next week, nor am I super talented 20 year old kid.
42:53Just being drafted in the NFL, nor am I from wherever Keon's from or where I'm, you know, like I'm not in here.
43:01I can't put myself in his shoes. I've never been a six, four black dude is who's amazing at football.
43:09Right. I can't put myself in his shoes. Yeah.
43:12But what I do, what does drain me sometimes is, you know, the over attempt at just being, you know, a 20
43:20year old kid and they trying to be too hard.
43:24Yeah. Right. And I, again, I certain neighborhoods, bro, you got, that ain't even a game that is real.
43:31Right. And I heard it all, you know, I heard, I heard Jamal Crawford on Daniel, Dan Patrick this morning, talking about the best basketball game.
43:40It never happened. Something at Rucker park and the lights went out and yada, yada, yada.
43:46And, and Jay-Z, you know, they, they talked about all these guys from back in the day and it was awesome story,
43:54but like, and they were like, you know, this guy's team was called such and such.
44:00And it was the life they lived. And they were, you know, they were not the enforcers, but something about that.
44:07Some, some term I forgot, but it's basically they scared you.
44:11Right. Like Keon Coleman's playfulness to me was like, well, at least he ain't trying to pretend to be something he's not, but you said it's goofy shit.
44:21And I'm like, all right, so we need to be in the middle there.
44:27Keon, you know, I've, I appreciate you not pretending to be, you know, something, but chef says you need to stop being so goofy.
44:35So can we get in the middle? And, you know, be humble.
44:40Here's the deal. Here's the deal. Get, get the train on the tracks because I'm, I'm buying, I'm buying the dip, bro.
44:48The dip, the dip redipped. Okay. So the dip, the dip dipped, and then it didn't work out.
44:54And it is, it's in the cellar. And that's when you make money in dynasty, because you're going to get a first round.
45:03You know, I think it was the first pick in the step.
45:07Was he a first round or his first, first pick in the second round?
45:12First pick in the second round. You're going to get that player on the bills with Josh Allen.
45:19And I know DJ Moore's there and they got Shakir, but that's pretty much it.
45:24You know, I'm a Dalton Kincaid guy, but you know, it's just.
45:28The thing that they would be on is with, with something like this, he does have the draft capital for them to not immediately throw him away.
45:38He has the talent. We've clearly seen the talent in flashes.
45:42When I say the goofy shit, it's like, Hey, if you can be goofy and go out there and catch a hundred
45:50balls and, you know, you'd be a double digit touchdown guy and you want to be funny in the interviews.
45:58Cool. But you got to cut that out when you're not performing.
46:02Yeah. I got you. You know, and I know people say, Hey man, you just got to be who you look, man,
46:10like nobody wants to hear knock, knock jokes when you're down 35, nothing.
46:15Your career, your career is down 35, nothing right now.
46:18We all have. I love that. That's perfect. Your career right now for your career, you're getting blown out.
46:25Yeah. And he looked at that. He looked at that reporter and said, yo, I got benched three games last year.
46:33It's unacceptable. Yeah. And look at the look in his eyes when he said it too.
46:39And I mean, I know we just did 10 minutes on Keon Coleman, but I feel like it was really, it's really important for to close loop.
46:49Yes. He's a steal where he's going. He's at wide receiver one 12.
46:53The bottom has fallen out. There is. We're just, this is how far can his value fall before he's a Birmingham stallion?
47:01That's, yeah. You know, it's like either it rebounds or he's a Birmingham stallion.
47:06Yeah. Well, that's so, yeah, we went 10 minutes on Keon Coleman, but we also went 10 minutes in the first round
47:14of a startup a few minutes ago, too. So that's the beauty of what we got going on here is we are fluid.
47:23And you want me to, you want to go 10 minutes in the first round of a startup with high end stuff,
47:31or you want to, you want to fight, you want to go into value bin.
47:36You want to go into clearance rack. And Keon Coleman is on the clearance rack right now.
47:42Speaking of clearance rack, are you, are you a pierce all guy?
47:47Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So I've got a couple of wagers out there and I I've been, I've been buying the pierce all.
47:55I've been buying stock of pierce all because again, another depressed asset from the 2024 class because they signed Mike Evans and Christian Kirk.
48:04Yep. Well, what's the one thing that we've seen Mike Evans and Christian hurt Christian Kirk be bad at.
48:10You almost said Christian hurt and Casey and I've been just banging the drum for Christian Kirk for the last two years and it's killed us.
48:20And we've taken him as depth pieces in the backend of startups.
48:24We've taken him as depth pieces on championship rosters and trades, you know, and Christian Kirk has given us nothing.
48:32And he, this might be the year where he gets out there and stays healthy and Brock Purdy.
48:38And he makes some beautiful magic with Brock Purdy.
48:41Cause that's, that's what could happen. But I'm all in on a, give me a Ricky pierce all value dip.
48:49I'm all in. I mean, look, he's a wide receiver 34 right now.
48:53102 in the crowdsource rankings, a wide receiver 37.
48:57And then wide receiver 37 in the expert rankings.
49:00I, I think I might be a little bit higher than Jeremiah and, and Casey in the, in the, in the expert rankings.
49:08But the point being, we haven't seen, we haven't seen Mike Evans and Christian Kirk stay on the field and play football
49:16for long stretches of time over the last couple of years.
49:20And we hadn't seen it for Ricky Pierce all in long stretches either.
49:25Well, wait, it's a way to save that way to catch yourself.
49:29True. But he's 20, he's 25. Yep. Right. He's 25.
49:33And they, they very clearly want to feature him.
49:36They wanted to feature him. They were, I mean, it was, it was real nice.
49:42It was very nice. These first four weeks, we're getting volume, seven, four, seven targets, four catches, 108 yards, six, six targets, four catches, four catches, 56 yards.
49:52Like all just all throughout 11, 11 targets, eight catches, 117 yards.
49:56And then four for 46. And I believe he got hurt this game too.
50:01And then the volume kind of tailed off while the 49ers were trying.
50:06Well, there isn't. Yeah. There's no volume because he's hurt.
50:10He hurt his knee. And then he comes back and he gets tackled on sideline and hurts his ankle or something.
50:17Be like, dude, you're cooking with gas right there.
50:21This is, you know, second season as a pro last the year before when he was trying to become a pro, he gets shot.
50:29So the second season, the first four games, he's rolling right there.
50:34Eight for a hundred or whatever you just said by the third game of the year.
50:40And then he gets hurt and that's, it's the NFL man.
50:44They're like, yeah, he may get hurt early again this year and it might be his fault, might not be his fault,
50:52but like, that's just in the ninth round. I'm, I'm, I can roll with some, with some Ricky Pierce.
50:59I mean, I just don't see, I just don't see any reason to give up on him.
51:05And I've got a couple of wages out there with a couple of other content creators.
51:11I bet Ricky Pierce saw it would have a better season this year than Jaden Reed.
51:16And I, I know I'm a, I know I'm the underdog on that because I mean, Jane Reed's gotten paid, you know,
51:24they've, they've gotten rid of a couple of receivers, but I, I really believe that if he stays healthy, he's going to
51:32end up being the, the, the, the nineers group.
51:36Now, what shocked me if Mike Evans was a target leader?
51:40I think, I mean, if Mike Evans is healthy, he's, he's probably going to catch.
51:45He's like, he's like 34, you know, and that's my point is, you know, seeing him struggle with hamstring injuries for the
51:53last five years, he just, just suffered another hamstring injury and then broke his collarbone when he came back.
52:00And he came back and played after that. He played well.
52:04He's still Mike Evans. Cause he's stud. Yeah. I mean, he's still Mike.
52:09He's first, you know, hall of fame, Mike Evans.
52:12There's no question about it, but I, I think that, you know, just looking at the ADP here, I said ninth round,
52:20like we, I feel like there's no reason. That's such a good graphic, man.
52:25I got to take a second to plug this.
52:29If you're not watching this video on YouTube and you're on the podcast side of things, you got to go over to the FF Donesty's new website.
52:38And she's got the ADP rankings pulled up and then it pulls up a, basically a big chart of the, of the ADP.
52:47And then he clicks wide receivers. So all the wide receivers glow in the other positions shadow out.
52:53And, but you can still see them and you can see them lay up left to right by round.
53:00They're not. And it's just the layout. And what we're looking at here is sick.
53:06Yeah, this is awesome. So yeah, go to the FF dynasty.com.
53:10This is, this is, this is the new hotness.
53:13Obviously you want to get your swipe on dynasty tender, get your swipes, build your own personal rankings.
53:19I just got my two hole one to 300 to come through in a super flex tight end premium on the swipes.
53:27And that's really, that's really interesting, but yeah, go check us out.
53:32FF dynasty.com. All that stuff. I'm going to take this off screen.
53:36So I can look at you in the face real quick.
53:40What you got? Let's see here. What do you want to go?
53:45You got to drop one player. Which one are you dropping?
53:49Jordan Mason, Keon Coleman, Jalen Coker, Kincaid, or Otten?
53:52I mean, in that list, you've, it's, it's probably without, it's probably Keon Coleman on that list.
53:58And you pick one and you pick him back up, you know?
54:02I mean, for the new players out there, you don't always have to drop a player.
54:08You can go trade a player, you know? So you could trade away a K dot and you could trade away a Jordan Mason.
54:17You're not going to get much, but as you, you probably can trade, you could drop Keon Coleman and pick him back up for free.
54:26You got to make a draft. You've got to make a roster spot sometimes.
54:31And you got to make a trade that you don't have to make a drop.
54:37Just wanted to throw that out there for the new guys.
54:41Yeah, that's a good point. I mean, this being able to, being able to identify and avoid landmines like that as, you
54:49know, as a young dynasty manager, you that's, that's valuable, very valuable advice.
54:53Like just always exercise the option to transaction instead of drop.
54:57Let's see. What's this? Henry Muto, our guy, Henry Muto, what QB FFPC league?
55:02I traded away one Oh five, one Oh nine two Oh four.
55:07And my 20, 27 first for JSN and a 20, 27 third.
55:11I am stacked at running back needed a stud wide receiver to go with Jefferson.
55:17Thoughts on the trade. Fair too much. I love it.
55:20I mean, obviously if you said, he said, I'm stacked at, you know, I need, I said, I'm stacked at running back
55:28need to start by the receiver to go with Jefferson.
55:32Don't know anything about your quarterback and your tight end and FFPC, you play for victory points.
55:38You need all the points you can get in your starting lineup and a short benches.
55:44And there's, um, a lot of activity on the waivers, especially the first waiver run, the first waiver run before week one,
55:52you get to, you know, pick up the guys that were not drafted during the rookie draft.
55:58And then after week one, of course, week one and week two, we get plenty of information.
56:04There's always some good roster churn. Um, could you hit the nail on the head at one, nine and two, four and, and, and hit home runs.
56:14You sure could, but you just got JSN. Right.
56:17And, you know, we, I hate, I hate the, Oh, these are studs.
56:22So I'd have to get three first to move them.
56:26Like half of those guys, I wouldn't even trade for three first, but it's a one quarterback FFPC league.
56:33He traded away one, four. So he's already, you know, you're already dropped off, you know, and this, uh, an FFPC, we
56:41had our tray, our, our rookie draft was the first week of May.
56:45So this is a month ago, basically a month ago for him, but at one five, you know, the Carnell Tate's already off the board.
56:55Um, of course, of course the running, running back Carnell Tate was next.
56:59And basically everything. And I saw Jadari and price go at one five, you know, so now you're already that, you know,
57:07without the Mendoza being up there, once you get, obviously it's tight end premium, but in, in FFPC, those short benches kill you.
57:16And Sadiq could be good. Could be great. Could be so much fun, but he also could be a roster clogger for two or three years.
57:25We don't know. I expect him to get some targets, but it's the jets.
57:30And that's where fantasy points go to die. And so, you know, the one, nine, two, four complete, complete coin flips, man.
57:38I love the trade to go ahead and get rid of those guys.
57:43And so you, you, you could have, especially with FFPC with a short benches, you that's three.
57:49Of course you could have made any other trades.
57:52I understand that, but like, those are three rookies.
57:56You don't have to have on your team clogging your bench.
58:00If they don't work out. And, and then, you know, you, then you have to take drastic measures.
58:06You got JSN, you got 165 targets last year and you got the wide receiver one.
58:12And we do that. Shev did it last year, last week, the wide receiver one.
58:18And you're not, you're probably not getting the wide receiver one next year, but he's just as good as bet.
58:25They need to be top three, top five, you know?
58:29So like that, it could easily not repeat is the one, but we would all be shocked if he wasn't top five,
58:37because what has changed in that scenario for him, not to get another 160 targets.
58:42That's the, that's the thing. And I, I really, I mean, that's a really, that's a very nice price point to get in on some JSN.
58:51I traded Harvey Addison, a 27 person, 28 first to get JSN on team.
58:57I needed, I needed one more hammer. There you go.
59:00And so I was like, ah, did I do too much?
59:04But then you think about it, I'm not going to care once.
59:09No. For what he added to my lineup and what they added to my lineup.
59:14Like I lost, I got to go figure out a flex spot, right?
59:19Like I'm going to be, I'm going to be a little weak in one flex spot, but that's okay.
59:26Like it, again, if you got a hammer wide receiver, that's averaging 22 points a game, that kind of offsets some things you can deal with.
59:35You said it. You said it great last week.
59:38You said that we got the team that ran it the most and passed it to least passed it to this guy, 165 times.
59:47And so, yeah, if some things change, but what if they pass it a little bit more?
59:53You know what I mean? So I think you said it well last week and you made some really, really strong points
60:01when we were debating JSN versus, you know, neighbors and et cetera.
60:06So we don't, I don't really want to get, you know, too crazy down the rabbit hole again, so we can keep going and get some more questions.
60:16But I, um, I think you crushed it last week on the JSN argument.
60:21I mean, it's this dude. Ranalytics is hilarious. What?
60:24Oh man. Ranalytics. His shed won't stop with the dog.
60:28I mean, I can't. It's just, it's just there.
60:31We talked about God giving gifts, bro. All right.
60:34Just y'all see my question roster post in the podcast questions channel.
60:39Let me go over to the podcast. Big coat.
60:42Talk to us. Talk to us real quick. Let's go.
60:46We'll do this. And I'm going to pull up.
60:49I'm going to go look at his question real quick.
60:53All right. So this comment, dynasty, super flex 12 team, no tight end premium start nine and a half PPR contending Jonathan
61:01Taylor plus Travis, Travis Kelsey or Harry, Harold Fannin in a late 2027 first need help on this one.
61:08Or if I should go all in, um, without.
61:11So you're contending with Jonathan Taylor and Travis Kelsey or Fannin in a late first.
61:16I mean, I'm, I don't need any more information to tell you that I'm keeping Jonathan Taylor.
61:22Um, I've been, I've, I've, I've stated many times that I'm a Harold fan and fan fan fan fan.
61:29I hadn't stated it like that. Cause that tripped me up.
61:33I like Harold fan in a bunch and I love his outlook to gobble up targets and catches.
61:40I'm not giving, I'm not giving away Jonathan Taylor that easy.
61:44You know, I just, I can't, I, the 2027 class sounds so much fun.
61:49It says late first. If it said super early first, no matter what, then that might be a different story because I
61:57know Fannin is an asset and early 2027 first is an asset.
62:01There's too many top notch potential running backs and wide receivers to not have a good asset with that pick.
62:09Um, even if it said mid, I, Jonathan Taylor's an absolute stud and I'm not getting, I'm not letting him go off
62:17of a contending team for anything less than amazing.
62:20I mean, I tend to agree with you. It's really difficult to, if you're, if you're contending right now, this doesn't make any kind of sense.
62:29Like we're all, we're a feeder tape to the bicycle with Jonathan Taylor, with Travis Kelsey.
62:35I don't, there's no point one. You're not going to get any sort of meaningful return on Travis Kelsey.
62:42Nobody's giving you anything meaningful. Oh yeah. Plus he's worth more to you, your team than he is to anybody else because you're trying to contend.
62:52And it's short. I mean, it's, it's a, it's a short starting lineup, start nine.
62:57So you need as many book, like book them points in your, in your lineup as you can possibly get.
63:04And Travis Kelsey, if he's your tight end, he gives you some utility.
63:09To go try to make some moves somewhere else.
63:12And I mean, it's not tight end premium. So you're not, that's a, that's a fine option.
63:19If you're trying to, yeah. Yeah. Don't let Jonathan Taylor out of the door.
63:24If you're trying to put points on, onto your, onto the scoreboard.
63:28So that you can win a championship this year.
63:31Yeah. In that case, you know, you could go take some draft picks or something and pick up Harold fan.
63:39And even in non, in non tight end premium, I still value Harold fan.
63:44I'm just, he's there's not, you can't, I'm not, is there's not enough there to go up to get Jonathan Taylor.
63:51Yeah. No, no. I mean, if, if they both hit their ceiling outcomes, Harold Fannin could be 15 points a game and no tight end premium.
64:01Jonathan Taylor could be 24. Exactly. And with no tight end premium, it's going to be hard for Harold Fannin to be
64:0915 points a game, even as much. That's what I'm saying.
64:13Yeah. That's what I'm saying. So you're banking on the late first, doing a whole lot of like heavy lifting.
64:20And we just don't have, we just don't have, we just don't have the, the, the 27 class hasn't taken shape anywhere
64:28near enough, even though we think it's going to be real good for you to make a bet like that.
64:35Yeah. Let's talk about this one real quick. I can't, I can't, for some reason I can't get the, uh, can't pull
64:43the sleeper username in to look at that question, but we'll talk about it.
64:49We'll talk about it. And I'll pull it up on the, on the website here shortly, but let's, let's answer this one.
64:57He's been super, appreciate you being patient for us.
65:00MN Riz three. Uh, I know we had, I'd seen your, seen you ask a couple of questions.
65:06Um, but so it's super flex PPR 0.5, 0.25 tight end premium.
65:11So tiny premium, uh, no disrespect. It's just not a lot.
65:15Not that tiny, but yeah, it helps every little bit helps.
65:19Yeah. I mean, Hey, it's all worth it. Gentile, Porto, Marv for Loveland, Ted, Shuck in a second.
65:25Wowzers. Okay. I'm the Gentile side, but my running back room sucks.
65:30I have three 20, 27 first. How easy will it be to replace him?
65:35Also have Rome and burden too many bears. Question.
65:38First of all, that's a lot to unpack with those players.
65:42It's a big trade. Um, so let me just hit it.
65:46Let me hit it from the back. Right. Like we all, like we all want to.
65:52Wowzers. Okay. Every other mammal, every other mammal hits it from the back.
65:57That's why, you know, it just, it's just natural.
66:00It's just natural. Like going to the beach and seeing that water.
66:04Right. All right. Yeah. You can't have too many bears.
66:08You got transition. Matt. Yeah. Man said, man said, I got Roman burden.
66:13Do I have too many bears? Cause he's trying to get gente.
66:17You can't have too many bears this year. I'm going to just say it now.
66:22Cannot have too many bears. Um, you will be happy with your bears.
66:27Um, I, I think JT Laporta Marv. He's trying to trade away Colston, Loveland, Tet, Shuck in a 20, 27 second, because
66:35he said his running back room sucks. So I'm going to just tear it back.
66:41I'm going to tear it down. I'm going to tear it down.
66:45Obviously you got to move heaven and earth to get gente.
66:49I understand that. I don't think, I don't think trading away Loveland and Tet is a good, is a good idea.
66:57And I understand, I understand. I understand that you can't get gente without moving big time.
67:02He can. He 1000% can. I just think, I think you take the Laporta part.
67:08Cause he's trying to get gente, Laporta and Marv for Loveland, Tet, Shuck in a second.
67:14And he, you know, when I say it, this may be the offer on the table that he can accept and that
67:22he does, that he might want to counter. If I'm, if I, if I'm in this deal, I'm keeping my Colson Loveland and I'm scratching out Laporta.
67:32And Loveland, and then we can start back into conversation somehow.
67:36Um, obviously the Laporta from the other guy up to Loveland is making the deal for this guy, um, for the other, other party here.
67:45I'm not trying to, I'm not trying to wait.
67:48I'm not trading away. Colson Loveland right now. I'm not doing it.
67:52And, um, I just think you need to tear that thing down and rebuild.
67:57And I mean, not your team, like just rebuild the trade.
68:01You, you know, you got the first use some first to get gente.
68:06That's my, that was my, that was going to be my point.
68:11Tyler. It's, it's super. You're, you're, you're giving Shuck receiver that you like best or you that the good dude likes the best.
68:19And then figure out what little other micro transaction you have to make to get gente and give up one of the bears receivers.
68:28Well, I don't know if it's a micro transaction to get gente.
68:32Like I said, it'd probably be a macro transit.
68:35I mean, it's going to be a big one, but I'll have to do, but what I'm saying is he doesn't have
68:43to give up Loveland, Ted, Shuck and a second to do this.
68:48Right. I'm going, let me just scratch them all down.
68:51You won't gente. So I'm offering Shuck a second and two first, the latest two I got.
68:57Projected. You know what I mean? Um, I think, I don't even think I, you might have to do that.
69:05I mean, that's, that's rounds of stories. See, there's no other, there's no other quarterback in the, in the trade.
69:12So like, obviously he's trading away Shuck. So he's obviously got quarterbacks.
69:16Um, and there's value for Shuck for the other guy, or he wouldn't be into trade still.
69:23So I'm just going to wipe Loveland and Ted off and white LaPorta and Marv off.
69:28And say, cause I'm keeping Ted over Marv and I won't love one way more.
69:34And if we had this conversation last week, LaPorta could be back in neck in September, middle, October LaPorta is a stud.
69:42That's great. I love LaPorta. I'm a lions fan.
69:45He came, he helped me came out to gate rookie season set records.
69:50I understand it. He's got a back problem. She had put me on, on blast last week about neighbor's knee injury.
69:58Like a back is a back and NFL. Like, yes, I know Gronkowski had a back injury and he played, but plenty
70:06of guys are never the same with a back problem.
70:09Is it overblown? Maybe that's the thing. Remember we talked about expectations and all that stuff, you know, uh, George Pickens and versus St.
70:18Brown. Like right now, like LaPorta has a back injury and Loveland doesn't.
70:23So I guess they're not even in the same, you know, like if LaPorta comes back and plays a full healthy year
70:31and he looks like, you know, looks good. He doesn't look like a statue and he's not in the seamen aisle.
70:38Like that's, that's great. I want that more than anything, but I, we need to know more about LaPorta's back.
70:46I can't be given away. And this is dynasty, man.
70:49I can't be given away Loveland and Ted. And I, yes, I'd love to play.
70:55I'd love to have gente on my team, but I can't be taken on.
71:00I need to be buying LaPorta cheap. I'll buy LaPorta cheap, but I can't, I can't pay market value for LaPorta right now.
71:08That's the, that's the overarching point. You can't, I don't think you can, I don't, if it's not coming with some sort
71:16of 75 cents on a dollar type discount for LaPorta, I don't want to buy.
71:22Yeah. So send a man, Tyler, send him a quarterback, send him Tyler shop and two 27 first.
71:28If you have to, or start drawing other guys off your team.
71:33You know, and I mean, if you, if you had to send Ted and get more, that's not the worst thing in the world.
71:41I'm just taking, I'm taking Loveland out of the deal.
71:45Loveland's my, Loveland's on my untouchables list right now.
71:48Unless, unless I'm getting Bowers or McBride, unless I'm tearing out to Bowers and McBride.
71:54Obviously we started the show with tearing down from Bowers to Loveland and Tyler Warren, which I thought was fine, but I'm,
72:02I'm, I don't feel great about trading away Ted.
72:05Obviously more Marvin Harrison come out and be a stud, but I, you know, there's so much.
72:11The expectations were so high on Marvin. We didn't get it.
72:15There's so much. But hurtness going around and people, people jumping off the train, very upset.
72:21Can't believe I had butt hurtness and train that close together in the same conversation.
72:26That's you are, that's, you are pulling naughty work right there.
72:30That's naughty work. Uh, what you're doing with your words right now is what Beethoven did when he wrote the, all those symphonies and shit.
72:40It's, I mean, it's, it's truly astounding. No, but okay.
72:43So Beethoven was too astounding in a good way.
72:46And some of my, it's just, it's, it's astounding.
72:50I don't know. Hey, it's working. Okay. So here we are.
72:54So Gentie is at two Oh five. So we got one 12 or one 12, two 10, two nine, two nine, two six, two six.
73:03So we've pretty much crystallized him in the middle of the second round.
73:08Right. And then just around a difference between him and Loveland.
73:12Dude. Again, you're clicking on this website and you can click that to see where, where the data, the data that went
73:20into his three, three average for Colson level. And you can see where he was taken.
73:25Look at that. Somebody took them at two, at 2.01.
73:29That was probably me. That's probably me in a, in a mock draft.
73:34I could go back and find the mock draft where I doubled down.
73:38And I had the one 12 and I, I bang, banged out Colson Loveland, you know?
73:44So that's what I'm saying. Like the two, one value on Colson Loveland is way closer to legit value than the three, three.
73:53I, I fear that I agree with you. And that might be driving.
73:57That could be driving. That's, that's in the driver's seat of the trade right now.
74:03And then, so we move. So you're giving up basically two third round picks to move up to get gente.
74:10And then you're giving up a six because Tyler Shuck is down here.
74:15I just like putting, I just like putting the picture together of what.
74:20I love that. I love that. Yep. Yep. Let's see if we can get Shuck on here.
74:26Again, while you're doing this and mess it, clicking on the screen, there he is at six, six.
74:32And you highlighted his name. Like again, you're doing it with an ADP and average at Colson Loveland at three, three.
74:40And I'm telling you, he's a full round past it for me, you know?
74:45So like you're building the picture with the blocks, which is what I've been talking about on this show for 10 years
74:53is pulling up the blocks and put it together, put together the trade with the blocks.
74:59And you're doing that. And I love this illustration you're doing for me.
75:04Problem is the Colson level at three, three is to me too cheap.
75:08You know? Yeah. So let's bump that up. Let's just, so I'm, I'm trying to help him.
75:15Like why explain why we're both like, Hey, don't do this trade or building.
75:20In a different fashion. So just for you, big coat, just for you right here.
75:25So we move. How far up do you move Colson Loveland?
75:29Are we talking? I know you said two, one, but let's not do two, one here.
75:35Let's say he's after gente. Where after gente, would you slide him in?
75:40Would you slide him in where Jeremiah love is?
75:43Justin Herbert, CD lamb. Sure. Right. There's anywhere in there.
75:47Yeah, it's fine. All right. Two Oh nine. So two Oh nine plus three Oh four plus six, six plus a 27 second for two, five.
75:56And I hope y'all are keeping track at home.
75:59Cause I'm not going to be able to just remember all that.
76:04And then wherever Marv's at, you gotta be below.
76:07Gotta be too far down to find Marv. Tyler Shulk right there in the six.
76:12Where you see him there? Where is he at?
76:16Oh, there he is. Tyler Shulk, six, six, six, 10.
76:19So two, five, six, six, six, 10. Where's Marvin Harrison Jr.
76:23At and Marv is scroll up one. He's gotta be one.
76:27He's gotta be up there. No, I think he's down brother.
76:31Oh, there he is. Five, 12. Okay. Five, 12, six, six, six, 10.
76:36Right. So, so let me just say this, uh, in dynasty, this is the beauty of it.
76:42We talk about talking to the new players and we talk about talking to the guys that's been doing this for a long time.
76:51The beauty of this is Chev and I just spent 10 minutes talking about Colson Loveland and the tip side of this
76:59thing and how they should be quote unquote off limits.
77:03But you can't go after Gentile without spending and swinging the bat.
77:07You got to swing for a home run. If you're trying to get Gentile, all that, all the, everything we said holds.
77:15In dynasty, this time next year, Laporte is back.
77:18No problem. Marvin Harrison, junior stud, Gentile, RB one.
77:22Like you see what I'm saying? Chef in dynasty, you very rarely can find a trade that some two people really agree on both sides.
77:31Hey, I want to give this and I want to take that.
77:35I, I agree to give this player and in return for those players, you very rarely find something that is a hundred percent.
77:43No doubt about it. A bad deal. And because I've been around the block, I had a dynasty.
77:50I had a dynasty league fall apart due to an Adrian Peterson trade 15 years ago.
77:56And guess what? A year later, those three dudes that were got together and were crying about the Adrian Peterson trade were
78:04nowhere, not, not to be heard from because the other side of the trade was obvious.
78:10And they made such a stink about the Adrian Peterson side of the trade, which I was getting Adrian Peterson.
78:17And what I gave away a year later, and I tried to, you know, make my case for why this was a fair enough deal.
78:26And you never know how things are going to work out a year later.
78:31Those guys did nothing to say. And the, and the Lee and, and a couple of the guys were just like new
78:39to dynasty and they were not in for the drama.
78:43And they were like, I can't, I don't know why we're arguing so much about fantasy football here.
78:49And the other guys were new enough to dynasty to not understand.
78:54And how these trades could play out in 24 months, 12 months, three weeks.
78:59And they were all up in arms and they tore the league apart.
79:04And that was wild. So that was a big lesson for me.
79:0815. I've carried it with me. Like every time I see a bad trade that I think is bad, I'm like, well,
79:16I've seen it before that it played, you know, and me and Casey talked last year about a couple of different trades that came back around.
79:25And like, sometimes the same exact trade, you look at it in history at the calendar week two, you lost it week four.
79:34You won the trade week 10. You lost it again.
79:37Next year you won the trade again. And it goes back and forth, just like the stock market up and down, up and down.
79:46Yeah. I mean, that's the, that's the, the beautiful part about it is a trade can look completely lopsided.
79:53And we're not saying, we're not saying the whole reason that we have all these tools.
79:59And if you haven't go over to the FF dynasty.com dynasty tender, you know, powered by the power throuple you, you know,
80:07we got all our expert rankings and all that stuff over there and several different, like several different tools and everything you
80:15could possibly imagine to try to help you equip you with as much information as possible so that you don't make mistakes.
80:23Or at least you have as much information as possible when you're making these decisions, because you don't want to find something
80:31else out or be privy to a different angle that you didn't have before the trade.
80:37Because if you're that guy, you're going to be the sucker that everybody's trading with your league.
80:43And that's the worst place to be. But that's the type of dude who big co's in his inbox asking him how
80:51he's doing, buying them coffee, doing all kinds of stuff just to try to get, just to smooth over some deals.
80:59Don't lie. Like you don't do it. I know you do.
81:03When you see a trade go down and then you, when you see a guy make a trade and you're like, there's
81:11nothing that makes me happier when I see a good dynasty trade and I like both sides.
81:17I just, I love it. And that, and that doesn't make me go look at the teams, but when I see a
81:25dynasty trade go down and I'm not excited and I'm like, dude, that guy right there, he's off.
81:31He's, he's, he's making some moves and he's being aggressive and he shot his shot.
81:37And I'm not exactly thinking that my values line up with his.
81:41So I'm gonna go look at his team and see if I need to throw him a trade, you know?
81:48And then on the other side, there's a guy in one of, in a couple of our leagues, rookie, he hangs out with us.
81:57I think it's rookie 86, but rookie something, uh, in FFD five, you just got cam war from him and he made,
82:05he made a couple of big deals this week.
82:08And so then I'm like, all right, what is it?
82:12And he's selling everything for draft picks. He's rebuilding.
82:15He's selling for draft picks, but he's not selling cheap.
82:19He's just selling. So I'm like, all right, I saw him make two big deals.
82:24He traded away Justin Jefferson. He traded you cam ward.
82:28And I'm like, all right, well, who's he got?
82:31I got some picks. Let me go see what he's got.
82:35And he's that, you know, he's got JSN and not a whole lot else.
82:40That's why he's rebuilding. And, um, so I couldn't come to a deal with him on Jason.
82:47He just traded Scott a boo. Um, like that was a gentleman's reversal.
82:51Uh, there was a, so as a, and a gentleman's reversal, here we go.
82:56Talking about it live right here, guys. Scott got traded for a 20, 27 first, the guy that traded, the 20, 27 first away.
83:05As soon as it happened goes, Oh shit. I thought that was my 20, 26 first.
83:11And the guy traded back and he said, all right, let's swap it back out.
83:16And I'll, I'll trade him again. You know? So gentleman's reversal happened.
83:21Um, that was cool to see. Um, but anyway, I looked at his team and I, you know, I said, I made him an offer for JSN.
83:31Wasn't good enough for him. He made me an offer back to get JSN way too much, way too rich for my blood.
83:39And, um, and then we go from there. I haven't made a deal with it, but I had to check in.
83:47Like when you see somebody making moves, you got to ring the doorbell, bro.
83:52You got to call that phone up. You got to shoot a text out.
83:57You got to buy a coffee. Like chef said, if you're not, you're not making moves and you don't have to go trade.
84:05You don't have to make seven offers to every single player in the league.
84:10If you have one league, yes, you should be doing that.
84:14Cause that's the fun of it. But when you get, you know, when you got 20 leagues, like I do, you're not
84:22going to be able to pump out volume trades anymore.
84:26But when somebody puts a note in the league or there's a new team in the league, Hey guys, glad to be here.
84:34Took over this orphan. And if I had to make some moves and make this team my own, if you don't send
84:42that dude a message and be like, Hey yo, who on my team do you like, or who on your team?
84:50Are you trying to, are you going to move first?
84:54What you looking at, what you trying to do?
84:57If you don't send that message or send a trade offer to that guy, somebody else is somebody else.
85:04Somebody, somebody's coming in, just taking your temperature. I need to see, I need to see what I'm dealing with here.
85:12I don't have to come in. I don't have to come in hot.
85:16I just want to see. That's right. What your temperature is.
85:20See what you got excited. Are you to make deal?
85:24What are you, what, what type of rebuilder are you trying to, are you trying to accomplish it?
85:30Everybody's got different values. And so like, that's, you just, Hey, there's a combination out there for us to make a trade.
85:38We don't know what it is right now. Do you want my Brian Thomas or do I want your lab McConkie?
85:46So we got lab versus BTJ on this comment here.
85:50Sheev lad versus BTJ. Colin says, uh, or call on or whatever at AO cone says lad versus BTJ.
85:57They both had bad year to slumps and were very disappointing.
86:01Which one would you take the shot on? What you got shift?
86:05Easily. La Dede, La Darius. Boom. Easily lad McConkie says.
86:09Well, I mean, here's, here's the problem. What do we, what do there's so much positive signal for what lad McConkie has
86:17going on with Mike McDaniel, with Justin Herbert. And that's not to say that we're not excited about Trevor Lawrence.
86:24We've just seen Justin Herbert support a healthy fantasy ecosystem where you're pumping out, you're pumping out volume, right?
86:31We've seen lab McConkie be top 15. We've seen Brian Thomas jr.
86:35Be top four, right? Or whatever. This is rookie year.
86:39Right. But now there's a bunch of new sheriffs in town.
86:43They gave one that we've seen both of them be kind of disappointing, right?
86:48There's no, there's no two ways about that. He said, very, yeah, he said very disappointing.
86:54And, but with BTJ, there's a different level of concern because they paid Jacoby Myers.
86:59Travis Hunter was very clearly, very, very clearly, you know, starting to assert himself before he got hurt.
87:06And then on top of that, then once he's hurt, that opens up an opportunity for Parker Washington.
87:12Parker Washington looked phenomenal the last three weeks of the season.
87:16And he's the, I said it, I've said it so many different times, but I, there's a world where Parker Washington just becomes a runaway wide receiver.
87:26One, he's basically like Florida, Florida man version of Amon-Ra St.
87:30Brown Brown, just because you can, there's so much utility in what he can do as a punt, like a guy who had a punt returner background.
87:40And you're now you're able to just throw him the ball in space.
87:45And he's generating seven, eight, nine yards. He's Luther burden after the catch.
87:49He's just, just creating yak and creating explosives for an offense.
87:53And they were doing this in games. It's not like with Brian Thomas jr.
87:59Where they had, you know, they're in garbage time.
88:02They had to do this to win playoff games.
88:05Like they had to, they had, they got to host a playoff game.
88:10Now they lost, but Parker Washington played well there also.
88:14And he was a part of a winning formula for a team.
88:18And I don't, when that happens, it's hard for me to say, Hey, I'm just gonna, we're, we're not going to do that.
88:26One thing that was helping us win a whole bunch.
88:30So I, I like that part of a winning formula.
88:34That sounds good. Keep going. I'm going to jump in.
88:37Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like that. So, so it's really, it's really difficult for me.
88:43And I have, I have lad several rounds ahead.
88:46Rounds. Wow. Okay. So, yeah. So I'm lacking context on the question because the guy says, which one would you take a shot on?
88:55That's a one for one question. You know, are we in a startup draft?
89:00Because I got many options. You know what I mean?
89:03So like, I don't have to just draft. That lad versus BTJ.
89:08If I'm going to start up draft and I feel like I'm stuck, I might be taking a quarterback right there.
89:15You know, lad versus BTJ. Well, did Jordan love fall?
89:19You know what I mean? So like there, there, I need context on the question because if it's just one or the
89:27other and you're like, Hey, I got lad and my buddy's got BTJ and he wants to trade me.
89:34Now we can have a one for one discussion.
89:37But like, if I got to put myself in that box, like you said, because everything's going on with the chargers lad seems much safer.
89:46Uh, for an, like the, the Jaguars offense would Liam Cohen and everything.
89:51Like I see the path to higher, you know, volume.
89:55I see the path to more first downs and I see the, I see the path for Trevor Lawrence to grow and
90:03take them to, uh, team totals punt, uh, touchdown scored situation where everybody's scoring more fantasy points.
90:09Cause the team is scoring more points offensively and they're a better offensive team.
90:14I can see that happening. We expect that out of the chargers right now.
90:19You know what I mean? So like, we hope it happens for Brian Thomas and the Jags.
90:25We are almost certain that would Mike McDaniels going over to the chargers and for all intents and purposes, a much more successful, quarterback consistently.
90:34And Justin Herbert, then Trevor Lawrence has been so far.
90:38I know Trevor Lawrence got, I know Trevor Lawrence got a bad shake the way he started his career with coaches and
90:46everything that happened over Meyer, yada, yada. I know it.
90:50I know he didn't start out like he should have.
90:53And that's what happens a lot of times with the first pick in the draft.
90:59You go to the worst teams. Jags are the Jacks, but you know, what's the chargers have going on.
91:06It could be a whole nother level than what the Jags have going on and everything you said about the Jack, the wide receiver competition in Jacksonville holds.
91:16I do think they should for, to help them, the winning formula for the Jags.
91:21I think that should highly involve Brian Thomas jr.
91:25You're not wrong. A lot of that rookie year stuff down the stretch was garbage time.
91:30You're not wrong. And you, and most, and I haven't heard that called out by a lot of people.
91:37Um, I just think that the Jags would be a better team.
91:42If Brian Thomas jr. Was a threat, you know, he's, it doesn't make sense.
91:47A talented wide receiver. Yes. You know, so they need to make him a threat.
91:52Does it, or does it all click up here?
91:56And I'm podcasters. I'm pointing to my head. Like, does Brian Thomas want to be a demon or, you know, did he get the drops last year?
92:05That did the, did the trade for the cornerback slash wide receiver getting his head?
92:11Like, you know, like, I don't, not exactly sure what happened to Brian Thomas and the Jags last year.
92:18I don't. And then the trade talk, hell, he could still get traded.
92:22Right. So. Vlad McConkie in that question is so much safer right now, but I don't think I do.
92:29I can get along with the upside. I've seen Wes Welker, bro.
92:34I've seen Julian. I've seen those little scat wide receivers.
92:37Those little white boys catch a whole ton of PPR points, bro.
92:4210 years ago. I took 10 years ago. I took Emmanuel Sanders and, and, Wes Welker back to back in a draft.
92:50I was on the turn. And I mean, three rounds above consensus.
92:54And when I did my, everybody in the room was like, damn, I wanted that guy.
93:00Damn. I wanted that guy. You know what I mean?
93:04I just went and got my, I got, I just put two, I put 200 catches on my team.
93:11Right. So. I know the value of what lab McConkie can represent.
93:15That being said, Brian Thomas's ceiling is higher. You can't tell me not.
93:20Right. And I just, I, I know that McConkie is underrated and I know he's way better of an athlete than we
93:28get, give him credit for because of sneaky athletic out there.
93:32He's way, he's way sneakier than sneaky athletic. No, I know.
93:36I know that he's, he's way better than sneaky athletic.
93:39Um, but that being said, like what Brian Thomas is capable of physically is a whole nother level.
93:46Will it happen? I don't know. There's your question marks.
93:49There's your expectations. There's your volatility. I got to jump off here real soon.
93:55I got five more minutes for you, bro. Oh yeah.
93:58All right. Let's get a couple of swipes in before we get you out of here.
94:04All right. Ladder Travion. Go quick. Travion. I'm a Travion guy.
94:08All right. Ladder, Ladder Quinchon. Without knowing the ADP right off top.
94:12I'm to me, I would, if I didn't have any other moves to make, I won't Quinchon, but I understand if Ladd
94:20is much higher in the ADP, that's fine. But I'm a Quinchon guy too.
94:26Back to back. I think they are back to back at ADP.
94:30Yeah. 51. I'm taking Judkins, man. I think Judkins is a difference maker.
94:35I think so too. All right. That's going to be general.
94:39All right. Jared Goff. There's basically three rounds of difference there.
94:43We'll go Ladd. All right. CMC. We'll go Ladd.
94:46Oh, Marv. Or Ladd. 2024. Showdown. Go, Co. If I had to just pick one year and it was redraft, it's Ladd McConkie all day long.
94:55But with being dynasty, I, I'm fine. If you want to take Marv, because what it could turn into be Brett, Marv,
95:03Marv needs his daddy's quarterback to come out and play.
95:07Marv needs to be in a Peyton Manning offense where it's on time.
95:12And he's complete opposite of what he had with Kyler Murray.
95:16Marvin Harrison Jr. needs to play in with, with Peyton Manning where the ball snapped.
95:21There's a three or five step drop. The ball's out.
95:25Marvin Harrison's where he's supposed to be. The ball's where he's supposed to be.
95:30Bang. Breeze. All right. Yeah. That's pretty easy. Breeze over Ladd.
95:34Jalen Waddle. What are we doing? Oh, golly. I mean, it's a spot difference in ADP.
95:40Ladd's above him by two rounds, I assume. Right?
95:43Absolutely. It's probably, I mean, it's Ladd for dynasty, but it could be easily Jalen Waddle.
95:49I like Jalen Waddle. Ladd or Nico? Nico. Nico, two spots.
95:53You ain't gonna go catch me sleeping on Nico.
95:56All right. Chase Brown or Ladd? It's gotta be, it's gotta be Ladd for dynasty, but it's Chase Brown.
96:03Sexy Chase Brown. All right. Carnell Tate or Ladd?
96:06Carnell Tate. Carnell Tate all day long. I like hearing that.
96:10Thanks, Cole. Rome with Dunze, Ladd McConkie. Rome, seven spots.
96:14It's gotta, it's probably, it's gotta be Rome. It's gotta be Rome, but I don't mind if you want to take the sure thing.
96:23Like I, I can't imagine Ladd not getting consistent targets every week.
96:27I can see how Rome finds his way on the, he's not going to be the easy button for the bears.
96:35He's not going to be running the easy routes.
96:38Like Colson Loveland and Luther Burden are the easy button for, for Caleb Williams.
96:43And Rome's going to be doing big boy stuff.
96:46And it could, I can see where the week to week consistency can be aggravating this year for Rome.
96:53That's the biggest issue. So, I mean, I'm with you.
96:57We gotta go. We gotta go Ladd. All right, I'm gonna get you out of here on this one.
97:04Ladd or Bucky Irving? It's Ladd, but if Bucky Irving's right, and it, the things are like, they supposed to be, the
97:12Bucky Irving, the thing about Bucky Irving is his rookie season, the Bucks are trying to make the playoffs.
97:19And when they needed it against the Panthers in division, down the stretch, they, things weren't going their way.
97:26They had some turnovers. They gave it to Buck.
97:29I mean, I went and charted this in a game for a discussion.
97:34Me and Casey had last off season. It was running back.
97:38It was running, brush and play. Bucky Irving, Bucky Irving, Bucky Irving, pass play, Bucky Irving, you know, like he, what he
97:46was doing between the tackles was wild his rookie year.
97:49And obviously we were let down last year. And if we weren't let down last year, wouldn't even be a question.
97:57Bucky, I'm going to be a second round startup pick right now.
98:01Early third, you know, I get, you know, that first two rounds, I get it is full of white, it, but you
98:09know, wide receivers and quarterbacks and tight end premium guy, you know, there's not too many spaces in there for running backs
98:17and dynasty, but Bucky Irving would be way up on that list.
98:22If he didn't let us down last year, and I think the ability is there.
98:27And the Dave Canales, uh, leftovers of that running back room, you know, it's already just cleared out.
98:34David now has left Liam Cole left. It's like, what's going on now?
98:38Like it, Bucky Irving can be an absolute stud in this league.
98:43I've, I've seen him do it in a short, you know, window sample size.
98:48It isn't big enough for some people, but I'm, I'm, yeah, I mean, I think that's the, I think that's the biggest,
98:56biggest thing is, you know, we have some concerns about the way that the way that we think that it should go.
99:04And the issue is that now we have way more questions than answers.
99:09With Bucky. And you just got to get them back out on the football field, see him healthy again.
99:16If he's healthy, we think he's going to do really cool stuff.
99:20Because I know you got to go. I'm going to get out of here as well.
99:26If you haven't go check out the FF dynasty.com.
